Dollar General Corporate Office & Headquarters

I went to the store at 827 E Semoran Blvd in Apopka, the employees there don't know what their coupon policy is. I had a store coupon and manufacture coupon for an item that I could not purchase. The cashier had trouble scanning the store coupon which he had to enter manually when I gave him the manufactures coupon he did not want to accept them. Are they aware for every manufacture coupon they make extra money. Maybe next time I will have to print out the coupon policy I show it to them. If I ever visit your store again

I bout a car from one of the Dollar general employees at the Boonville, MO store. His name is William Reed. He bold faced lied to me and did not hesitate doing it. It was a demonstration of his lack of integrity. He knew I was coming from over an hour and half away with my brother to drive the car back. I specifically asked him if the car ran and was drivable and he said yes. He was wearing a dollar general shirt and probably was conducting personal business on company time. This guy is a great reflection of the kind of company this is. The turned out to be the biggest piece of **** ever. I went back the next day to talk to him to try and get at least half of my money back and he called the cops on me. This kind of guy does not even deserve to work for this not so reputable company.

just wanted to say that store in evarts ky is for the birds. washing powders, busted clorox everywhere in the floor.no one is ever at the register, i just about lost my balance if my son hadn't caught me because of a busted bag of dog food. it was like walking on marbles. didn't even see it til i got right in it and that manager come and never even apolagized and never cleaned it up.sorry excuse for a store.

My wife called crying and said she had fallen and cut her foot, while entering the dollar general in coker alabama. it has been raining here, the floors were wet and no one will answer the phone at the coker store or corporate 6:15 pm.

I can go one better than any of you. I recently graduated college and was offered a job as a store manager with Dollar General. I was fed a line of bullshit that this is one of the greatest companies to work for and believe me it is not!! Store managers get one and a half whole days off work and that is if there is not a meeting! If there are meetings you can go for weeks without any time off, now I ask you who in there right mind would want to work there? Also if you are a female manager they require that you let someone else look in your purse before exiting the store!!! Well of course we are all thieves and DG is trying to protect their trashy stores! I made a huge mistake by taking a job with them but I remedied that very quickly!! Dollar General is a trashy, nasty company that will sell anything for a buck, even if it had been opened or expired!!!!!!!!!!

Recently visited the store in Irvington, KY. While checking out we were asked to run our new credit/debit card multiple times because the machine showed the card had expired. This card was only a few months old with no scratches on the back and used just to get gas prior to this. The lady working the register asked my wife to put the card in a plastic bag and try it again we did that and it went through. When we got home and checked our bank records on line it showed multiple charges for the same purchase at Dollar General. I printed out my bank record we went back to the store and I tried to talk with the employees at the store about the issue (I was a little upset to begin with)all I wanted was to get the charge reversed they immediately began to play the blame game. They said it was our fault for running the card multiple times and putting the card in a bag which really got me upset they were the ones that told us to run the card multiple times and it was there suggestion to put the card in a bag not ours. They blamed the bank card and said it was messed up or the magnetic strip must be bad we showed her the card that it was brand new. She said all she could do was offer us a corporate number they could not fix the problem at the store. Ok, fine why waste my time blaming ever body for the mistake when you cant fix the problem anyway? I left angry and I don't think I'll shop at Dollar General again.

the dollar general store in east end of east liverpol ohio has had no heat for a month and they expect older people to shop without heat and the employees to work without it they are wearing gloves and hats to keep warm this is just bs i dont think anyone should shop there its a shame for the ones working there they cant afford to call off if they get sick from no heat why dont u fix for god sakes i put alot of money in to that store but i am done shopping there if they dont have heat

Poor management at DG store--rural Frederick County, MD. Male Mgr. puts unwanted item out on counter. He'll jokingly ring it up against one' will to not buy it unless customer says otherwise. Mgr. needs to be reminded of at-will workplace conduct statutes by corporate.

To whom it may concern: I am writing this letter about an experience that my daughter and I had in your Bellaire Ohio , store. In early December my daughter and I were shopping at your store. i would take madison (my daughter) to your store to buy the dollar toys that you carry as a reward for good behavior.when we were finished the manager walked out in front of us. we went towards my van.my daughter started arrangeing and seperateing the carts. i asked her if she would please hurry and the manager Dave looked over and said i will tell you what is wrong her she is(O C D). I gave him a puzzled look he waited about 10 or 20 seconds and looked at us and made a sexual remark towards my 7 year old daughter i am thoroughly disgusted . I will never take my child to another dollar general ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dollar General Store cashiers in Crystal River and Ingles, Florida do not know or follow the coupon policy posted on the website. Someone needs to do two things: 1. teach them the proper way to talk to a customers and give them some training on how to read the policy posted on-line, 2. Help them understand that customers are not doing them a favor visiting their store, without customers they do not have a job.

I am from Tenn and was in your Marion,Ky store and they only had one cashier and she was working her butt off and finally go so backed up and called for the manager to come and help her, I stood there for at least 10 min and the manger did come out and some one told me she was in her office lookin at some flowers that had been sent to her well I guess thoes flowers were more important then her customers were and some of us said to hell with this and we layed our stuff down and left and that is no way for a manager to run her store if this is the kind of service you get I wont be back to that store. My husband and I have shopped at Dollar General Stores since we lived in Tennessee in the late 70's and early 80's. Prior to the last several months we have been totally satisfied with the prices in the stores. In most of their products we have seen a huge price increase, a quart of milk is 2.25$ this adds up to 10.00$ a gallon. This is rediclous and I predict that if the store continues to raise the prices people will stop shopping there and go other places.We have notices that we can purchase itims cheaper at Walmart.

I am very disappointed by the employees and management in the Dollar General Stores, especially the store in Mountainburg, AR. I was overcharged and tried to get the manager to fix it and went back in the store three times and the problem was never resolved correctly. The employees, including the manager do not know their own coupon policy. The manager did not know know that you can use a store and manufacturer's coupon together on the same item. It states clearly in the store coupon policy that you can. Dollar General needs to train their employees better. I will no longer be shopping at Dollar General.

I am soooooo glad to see wendell back at #6616 douglas ga. the girls and me missed him dearly. i love to go in there they make it fill alot like family. thank you for a job WELL done.....

My complaint is conserning the Dollar General in Dawson Springs Ky....my father owns property across the Hwy from this store......they discard their boxes,trash ect......at the back of their store.....they do have a dumpster....but for what reason i dont know...cause apparently they dont use it.......some of their boxes ect is flattened and on a cart...other boxes are thrown from the dock...into the gravel parking lot...toward their dumpster...if they hit ...thats fine..if they dont hit the dumpster...then thats fine also...cause apparently they are too lazy to walk from the dock to put stuff in the dumpster.....between the back of their building and the old Harrymans garage..there is trash everywhere.....even on the other side of the old garage.....there is dollar store trash......when the wind blows.....their plastic wrappings from shipments....foam from inside the boxes....sometimes even boxes....are blown across the street into my dads yard....joining my dads yard is a chain link fence...sometimes their trash is even hanging on the fence....its a job just to keep the trash picked up out of my elderly dads yard and to be honest im just about tired of this......if their employee's arent gonna do their job...or they are just too darn lazy to do it.....then they need to be replaced with someone who will......i honestly cant believe it can be sooo much of a problem just to put the trash in the trash!!!

I have been trying to contact Dollar General by phone for THREE WEEKS! Guess what? No answer or reply! I want my W2 form mailed to the right address because I have moved but I only get Computers or put on hold for six hours. Screw that. Contact me NOW! zandertay101@gmail.com

I went into the Dollar Store in Wilmer and was charged for more than what I purchased. I sent my daughter back in to get a refund and she stood in line for 10 minutes for them to tell her that she had to wait for the manager to refund her. I was livid at that point because the manager came to the front and ignored my daughter and started scanning items for inventory on her inventory gun, instead of assisting my daughter. I went into the store and I asked what the hold up was and I was told to wait just a sec. I said for what!!! your scanning for your inventory and I'm waiting for a refund. The manager proceeded to the front to refund me but wanted to argue with me for no reason. Her job was to give me a refund and shut the #$#& up. Then the other employee decided to put her two cent in and tell me I couldn't park where I had parked. WTF I still havent gotten the corporate number when I was told by the store manager it was on the receipt. It was a survey number This is BS

I would go to the Dollar General in Unionville/TN. It is a good store and close to where I live. Unfortunately they have hired a very rude cashier/stock person!!!! She needs to be taught some manners.She is not friendly to some people. It is a shame. It gives the store a bad reputation, and I have let others know. I choose to shop elsewhere.

just wanted to let everyone know when you go to the dollar general in evarts ky, that place is nasty, floors never get swept.and their's water in the doorways at all time. when it rains, watch out they will not mop it up or put wet floor sighns out.their is so much stuff out of place. you can't never find anyone to ring you up. they always leave the register unattended.day time is pretty good, but the evening is all to hell, never again. hello dollar store, goodbye dollar general....

There are plenty of Dollar General's in my area. Most of the employee's that run these stores are very rude and act ignorant. They get mad if they have to do a return. The manager got upset because I had a return that was from another Dollar General withthin a 7-10 mile radius. She said that she was giving out more than her store was taking in because of returns.....WHAT? Of course they are going to have returns after Christmas!!! This happened at the Dollar General in Central in Florence, Alabama, they are also rude at the Cloverdale location in Florence, Alabama. They really act like the money is coming out of their pockets, like they are rich enough to own a store....lol. Dollar General needs to hire decent well manered employee's, not some rude ignorant crazy women who think they own the stores!!!
