TO the DG in Red Springs N.C. I'm so happy to know that Ms.Lovie Horton will be working again she is an awsome manager, very friendly and she speaks Spanish. The store manaker Kyle Holt runs a tight ship he keeps his employees on their toes and he runs the store well. I love shopping there. I would love to see the store expanded. It is a little tight in there. Hope to see a bit more room. It would be nice for 2 people to walk down the same wails with out having to wait. And red springs in a large community it would be nice to have a third register. Thank you

I went into the store on moffett rd today in mobile al and was treated very Nasty By the cashier she told me I need to take my shit out the arm basket I had as if she's not going to do it she was nasty using profane words had a name tag that says Ms.Sismisons she was nasty, I told her this Conner is to small there were things up there like someone left that didn't take back to the floor she was nasty I will never go back to the store 1818 on moffett rd they are nasty , they have young people working there that is rude badly, I shop there all the time never again the store was pack she was going off like she in the streets or something sorry but I can't go there, not only they have one name Tiffany she nasty to please fix this store because this is sad how she talk to coustmers, I told her coustmers always right she said no they ain't, I'm like ok who train you? She don't fit to work here, her or Tiffany

I'm a 10 point disabled veteran and I've never been treated more unfairly than I was treated in Langley, OK. I was always expected to finish a roll tainer in 1 hr which I did, I was always expected to stock and check while the keyholders could not be found. The store closed at 9:00 pm and I was scheduled to wok till midnight and the next night from midnight to 3:00 am. I had been there longer than any other employee but the newer employees(females) were not required to stock the heavy products. I'm a retired postmaster and I'll never recommend shopping at the filthy Dollar Private in Langley, OK

I am posting about the Dollar General In Campti Louisiana. This at one time was a great store when it opened up. I shop their because my daughter works their. But you can tell the difference when certian people works.. It is very cluttered and nasty. It needs cleaning. And above all a Manager is needed. You cant keep manager there for some reason. My daughter never complains to me about her work place but I know she is not happy at times with it. I can tell I am her mom. Hopefully someone see this and will get some workers in there and a manager as well. Not a DM that is not there to know what is going on but a manager again. And when you put one in there again keep them. All your profit goes out the door because of the cameras not working and being watched. Try and handle up on this situation before you loose another good employee such as my daughter. I know how well she cleans so it has too be clean where she is at or she want stay. I know my daughter.

i used to work at the dollar general on lamar in memphis tn my manger was my cousin after she threathing me severs times dont tell anyone i read that she could not hire me everyday she flow me around in the store she quote "i hire u i can fire u " i got so mad one day i could take it goind home in tears to my family i told the manger on dutie i could work on her shift i no u guys no what she did put me on her shift i tryed to call jerry brown an tell that son of gun he acted like im not shit what is the world coming to i can trest u likes shit and nothing is going to happined and she flow me around the store talkin crazy that ugly ass jerry brown could check the camrea but that would been to much like rigth but what gones around comes around he will get his and that weed smoking pop pills bitch will get it to that why my mom email hr and report that she is so lets get a drug test jerry or are u going to p in the cup for the bitch dum ass dollar general

I am writing about the new store in Ridgetop, TN. I am a former employee of this store. I love the store and all of the employees. Other than the store manager. She talks about her employees like they are dogs, I recently found out that Tony, the general manager told her to promote me and she REFUSED to. So I left. Something needs to be done because she is RUINING the stores repretation here. I would go back to work there in a HEART BEAT if there was another store manager. In my greatest opinion the Assistant Manager, Hillary Osborne would be a perfect fit!

Complaint. Store # 10220 in Ellerbe, NC. Why is there a handwritten sign on the main entry door indicating if a person is caught stealing they will pay court costs. It is demeaning to customers who would never think of taking merchandise. Also, another sign indicates that large bags will not be allowed in the store. I have a large bag and ignored the signed. A person in the store seems to have the opinion that we are guilty until proven innocent. Has she heard of profiling people? Not sure if she is the manager. I have complimented your store #7098 for being well maintained and would like to state that store #10220 is poorly maintained. A couple of new cashiers have been hired & one is inadequate. It is terrible to have a person not focused on the customer but other things as she is scanning merchandise. Know there is a new manager and nothing has improved. In my opinion decline in customer service. I have visited all stores in area and this is the slum.

I used to buy cases of pawls boutiue urine removal and i went to restock and yall had some other instead and i bought it and it was a waste pawls is the best please put it back on the shelf so i can restock.......thanks

RE: Store #12058 Allen Park, MI. I was in there yesterday and a man (white) was waiting to pay for items at the only checkout number that was lit up. After sometime, during which two employees were talking, an employee (black) shouted from the other end of checkouts - IM OVER HERE and laughed. I will not go back to this store.

I VISITED DOLLAR GENERAL ON BROADWAY AVENUE,IN ALEXANDRIA ,LA I DIDNT KNOW WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN I WALKED THROUGH THE DOOR. MY DAUGTHER IS FRIENDS WITH THE MANGER ON FACEBOOK HER NAME IS KIMMBERLY SEWELL ..MRS SEWELL ALWAYS POST COMMENTS AND COMPLAINTS ABOUT HER STORE AND PHOTOS OF EMPLOYEES SMOKING BY THE DUMPSTERS. I have pictures of the store. Looks like a tornado has hit it hard. I have been in the store 3 times in the past 2 weeks and nothing has changed. The store is located in Hampton, Arkansas.

I was thrilled when our town finally got our dollar general store. I spend at least $125.00 to $250.00 every week there. Our store has the friendliest, hardest working people, untill now. We live in a place where 1/3 or so are amish or menonite and go by horseback or horse and buggy. We have a special parking area just for them. Our latest manager drives a maroon suv and parks in the amish parking area. I ask her about it and she said they have plenty of room and she will not park anywhere else. That is just hateful and mean. Horses do not stand still, especially when giant horse flies are biting them and they are burning up from the heat. She has upset pretty much the whole town and surronding areas. Please talk to this woman. She is at the Pembroke Kentucky 42266 Dollar General Store and drives a maroon Envoy or similar s.u.v. I am going to shop at Wal-Mart until she parks somewhere else. There is always, always plenty of parking in the regular lot. My dollar general store rated 5 stars untill now.

Our impoverishd rural community escalated our Dollar General to the Million $ mark. Do you believe they would not give one cent or allow collection jars for our struggling library or school. BOYCOTT DOLLAR GENERAL AND YOU BOYCOTT CHINA

i live in greenville,il. the air conditioning is broken at the store again. i am guessing that it will be an annual event for the a/c to be broke because it was broken last year. looking from the outside in, it would appear that the corporate offices don't care or want to take care of its employees. because the a/c keeps breaking the store will have to throw an unknown amount of food product away, therefore wasting food which is already expensive as it is. the solution is so easy corporate can't or won't see it. all they have to do is buy quality a/c units to install in the store, but are apparently too CHEAP to do that they would rather put a band-aid on a wound that needs stitches. from this day forward i will no longer shop at dollar general till the a/c is fixed and i will tell everyone i can to do the same.

in addition to my last comment the a/c has been broken for at least 8 weeks, which is entirely too long for it to be broken there is no way corporate is putting their full attention on this constant problem, if they were, and cared, it would have been fixed long ago.

To Whom It may concern, My wife works at the south Boston va warehouse and has been there for 7 years. She is working the weekend shift and is going to school at Danville Community College. Her supervisor and plant manager both know this. they are trying to change the weekend shift to Tuesday thru Saturday. By doing this, alot of people besides her will not be able to go to school. This is the only reason why anyone would want the weekend shift. It is alot less hours, but it makes it easier to obtain a eduction. Your warehouse has the GED building right outside your doors. It almost seems that you do not care about education even thow you have that GED building outside. Is it possible for someone to get there cdollege degree by working for you? Why are they changing the hours/ It was said threw the grapevines that your supervisors do not want to work on Sundays. So they are taking there agressions out on the employees. Half of the workers have been there longer then your supervisors.Is this fair. Hell no. If you dont take any action then I will have no choice but to take further action with the News media and the papers and elected officials. Thank you for your time. Robert Boden (official Copy)

I shop at the new dollar general on kicker road in van buren Arkansas it never fails if you go in from open til about noon you have to go get someone to check you out because they aren't anywhere to be found! If you go in the afternoon there will be one cashier with 8-10 people in line and another employee putting out stock who will not come and check until a customer says "can ya open another checkout?" then MAYBE they will there is a new girl there who is a sweetheart but everyone else acts like they hate to see you coming! The manager is also rude! I will. Drive all the way up town to the pointer trail store where they greet you at the door make you feel welcome and tell you to come back or have a nice day. The others at linker hand you your money with the exception of the new girl and don't even say thank you!!!

Labor laws are being violated every day i worked 8 hours no break left alone in the store for 8 hours and more worked their for 3 plus years seen managers come and go some i was glad to see go,got told to bring a pillow and blanket and just lay on office floor so the manager wouldn't have to cover my shift they treat you less than human how do they continue to get away with this I have documentation since my first day till the day i finally quit somewhere along the line i had to get my self respect back would like to see something done about how they treat their employees and customers, How would Jane our district manager like to be left alone for 8 hours check in vendors wait on customers and not be able to go to the bathroom and told just bring in your pillow and blanket and lay on the floor
