Dollar General Corporate Office & Headquarters

Dollar general is a good company but they need to institute a overnight stocking shifts in order to get the merchandise out of the stockroom and have a overnight to where the employees can fix the shelves with need products. this will increase sales and customers satisfaction. Well the store in Mascotte, FL. is a prime example of this. The manager is very friendly and the workers are all nice and caring. hope this helps :)

This store in Evansville ,.is terrible. The assistant manager treats employees like dirt and curses about everything. I worked there 1 day and she thought I should catch on in a minute!!! When I reported her to the supervisor,she said I am not going to have this conversation with you. I wasn't even loud on the phone!! I just mentioned I would go over her head to corporate and I think I ruffled her tail feathers It is located on Weinbach Ave. I hope they get new employees that treat people better!!! I myself will not go back!

I worked at DG for 2yrs 9 mos as third key. I was alone in the store relieving my cashier for her one hour lunch break, between 4-5P, which is one of the busiest times in this strip mall location. I am diabetic which my DM, store mngr new about and while ALONE in the store and on the register my blood sugar began to drop. Since policy is NOTHING up front....my cooler with my Orange Juice that I packed for such an incident was 30 yards away in the back. I could not leave the front with 8-10 customers in line at register and I had NO choice but to consume SOMEthing to get my Blood Sugar back up- so i wouldn't pass out or worse. So 4 steps behind me was the cooler and I grabbed $1.69 bottle of Orange Juice, drank it and paid for it within 5 minutes (but I rang myself up which is also against company policy) SO....... I was fired for "MISCONDUCT" - 'GRAZING' and denied Unemployment....I appealed and WON----- I was paid all my unemployment back pay-- and am now going further with this ---- SEE: HERNANDEZ VS WALGREENS and you will see why. We HAVE GOT to stop letting these super corporations have the ability to not treat people like people. SO----- appeal - it is super easy - you can get free legal aid and have a lawyer go with you to appeal hearing,,,,,,but, you can also do it alone. Watch U-TUBE videos on appeal hearings. STAND UP ----

I would like to know when there was a law put into place where you cannot use the restroom. my 76 year old friend shops at your store 2 x a week. the old manager Steve was very helpful... The new manager is rude and not helpful at all. My friend was at york store and needed to use the restroom which was locked ( it never was before) She ask the manager to plz unlock the door and the manager said NO. My friend explained she needed to use the restroom and the manager told her to walk to mcdonalds which is about 6 football fields away.. she told her she couldn't do it and she really needed to go. the manager refused again and said it was the law! my friend said please if you dont I will pee on the floor and the manager walked away. Needless to say my friend could not hold it and peed on the floor.. I want to know what gives someone the right to refused an old lady bathroom rights!!! please take care of your nasty manager. the store is located on the corner of george st and rt 30 in york Pa.

We live in Teague Texas, a very small town. I shop a lot at the local Dollar General. Today I went in to purchase several items. When I was ready to check out there was a line of about 15 people. I am crippled so standing for long periods of time is hard on me. I looked around and saw an employee stocking shelves. I asked her if she could wait on some customers because the line was so long. She said she was busy stocking shelves. I was in line for over approximately 15 minutes. As I was standing in line I saw another employee stocking and he was looking at how long the line was and did nothing. His name is Chris and he has checked me out many times. The only one helping customers was a girl named Hope. A Family Dollar is being built across the street from the Teague Dollar General and if they don't pay more attention to customers Doller General won't last long. I will have a very hard day after standing on my feet for that long. Thanks!

I would not even give that,more like a minus 10. I just went to the store in wichita,ks.67212//8951 w. central ave. I just wanted to get some dog food.when i got in line it was really long and there were other people getting tired of waiting.i stepped over to the other side and asked if they could open a register, it looked like three employees standing there talking.the manager said under her breath all the while not looking at me.people need to be patient we are in the middle of a shift change. well that is fine but don't be rude about it we can't read your mind.she then said some rude things to me.one of the customers snottly said how nice they all were.i said something about how snotty the customer was.the manager yelled at me and wanted me to leave and i said not before i return this food because i was not going to be treated this way.she made me wait awhile and ignored me and when i asked her name and bosses name she said i would have to look it up myself.everyone i know will be told and my family will never shop dollar general again!!!!!!

I had the worst experience today. I will admit I was using a store I don't normally frequent, and I wanted to contact the corporate office, but I suppose this is the only way to do it? Coupons! I purchased 15 different items, probably a total of 30 items today. My total was over $40, I had $3.50 in coupons. Once my order was rung, I handed the cashier my coupons (4), she looked at me and said, "if they don't scan we can't accept them". She scanned them all and NONE of them scanned! Yet they were only clipped from the Sunday paper, in fact they were all items that the weekly ad and the shelf indicated additional savings if the P & G coupons from the paper were used. The coupons were NOT ripped, NOT crumpled, and were totally intact...the ENTIRE bar code. They were cut from the ads with scissors. To say this left me HOT is an understatement. I pointed out to the Assistant Manager and the cashier the ad and told them I couldn't believe they wouldn't scan. Everyone in line behind me was shocked too! I told the store I would be contacting the corporate office, they seemed unmoved. Not suprising I can't find a way to contact the corporate offices.

Dollar General in Monroe, LA does not want to pay when someone falls in their store. All we wanted was them to pay the doctor bills, but no they can't even do that. You get the runaround every time we call the store. Apparently they do not follow regulations and file an accident report when someone gets hurt.

My review is based solely on the new manager at the Dollar General store in Belmont, MI. All of the other employees are extremely friendly, very helpful, and very customer oriented. This new manager is rude, unfriendly and unprofessional! If they don't get rid of her I'm probably going to go back to shopping at Wal-Mart. I have worked in retail for over 30 years, and if this woman was one of my employees - she would have already been terminated! She is giving the store - and the Dollar General brand - a very bad name due to her rudeness! I hope they fire her!

Why is it that every time I go into the Dollar General in Villa Grove Illinois there is 3 Employees stocking shelves while the only Cashier has at least 10 people in line. You would think that company as large as Dollar General could train their employees on Customer Service! All the product that is being put on the shelves won't be needed if there aren't customers around to buy it. Oh and those 3 employees that were stocking the shelves, two were sitting on the floor, one of which did not move so I had to go down another isle and did not get what I needed.

I live in Rolla, Mo and frequently shop Dollar General because it's convenient. They recently built a new building and it was really nice when they first opened. The last several times Ive been in the store the employees are not friendly, it's mostly ran by young people who act like they could care less if you shop there or not!! The store is almost always a mess. I'm very disappointed with them and hope something will be done to improve the customers shopping experience!! St. James, Mo. is 15 miles from Rolla and the Dollar General store there is AWESOME!! It's always clean, the people are super friendly and the atmosphere is so different than the one in Rolla! ROLLA NEEDS HELP!!!

Not only do they treat their customers like crap, but their employees too. I'm surprised they can stay in business.

Dollar General in Agricola, MS always has 4-5 workers in parking lot smoking and carrying on with 1 cashier inside. Same cashier checking out every time while the others sit outside manager included. Long lines back up with no help from any other workers outside. I visit this dollar store 2-3 times a wk. and this is how it is everytime. Something needs to be done.

all family dollar store should all be shut down. None of there employee have customer skills. They're always rude and unprofessional.

I go to the same dollar general at least once a week for the last few years since they opened. I have never had a problem till today. I bought two items then wanted to split the total between two cards. The little teenager behind the counter said sure no problem, however went I looked at the receipt she had charged one amount as cash but I never paid any cash. Because I'm an honest person and I liked the store I went back inside correct the mistake. Turns out you can't split a purchase. That was my only mistake, the manager didn't know what she was doing. It took forever and I had to repurchase both things without getting the full refund from the first time. I will never go back there if that's the way they treat their longtime customers.

The restrooms at the Dollar General Store in Olney Tx are always OUT OF ORDER ,broke, plumbing,tank problems,according to the cashier, during business hours for the customers. The employees are allowed to use them and the restrooms are not not available to customers.

store #10278 is a new market store and every time I go in there is a line and only 1 cashier. I know, as policy that payroll is small. but there is always a store manager or key there who should jump on a register to bring down the lines, but this guy says he is a manager now and dont have to do these things or take shit from any more customers. He would rather be talking on the phone then help his customers, I have seen more people walk out. they are rude and nasty people and dont care how they talk to the customers. they have even told me not to come back which I never will again.

This morning my grand daughter and I went to the Buffalo Gap Rd address store in Abilene Texas. I walked in and saw no shopping baskets. I stepped back outside the front of the store and still no baskets. So I ask the girl at the register so you don't have any baskets. She looked at the place where the baskets usually stay and said: I don't see any so I guess they are all being used. I said there are only 4 cars in the parking lot. She said I don't see any over there so I guess we are out. I said to my grand daughter lets go to another store I need too many things to not have a basket so we left out the door. We did find a basket at Target though and bought 165.00 worth of merchandise. I do understand that the employee will not get paid anymore for being helpful to customers but geez I guess it is better to drive a little farther sometimes for better customer service.

Reguarding store # 03880 at 108 W Seminole, Wynnewood, Ok. There are no shopping carts in the store, per the DM. There is no way elderly women can wrestle with the door and get a shopping cart inside. The carts are hot to the touch and dusty. Please revise your policy about the shopping carts being placed outside. I will not be shopping there as long as I have to wrestle to get a cart inside to shop.
