Dollar General Corporate Office & Headquarters

I'm sorry to read of all these disgruntled customers. I shop at 2 diffferent stores in GA. The new one on Friendship Road in Buford #13457(manager was at the other store I frequent) & the Flowery Branch store a few miles up the road.(Don't know that store #) We are in one or the other at least a couple of times a week. If you can't find something-they help. If price discrepancy- they double check & match the ad. Clean, haven't gotten any out of date food. The managers & employees are friendly & helpful. Just wanted to add a good comment for a change. They will continue to get my business-before the grocery store or larger retail store. Thank you DG!

I needed a box to mail something and Dollar General had none to purchase therefore I wanted one off the cart in that was flattened and the female stated they do not share their boxes with customers and must return all of them. This is such poor customer service. The woman was not very diplomatic in her denial of the box and stated they the headquarters even counts them. This happened in Sierra Vista Az. Very rude employees. There have been several issues with this store.

The Dollar General in old Mesquite has a troll working there that will walk up to almost any man (including my husband and a few others) and offer to do things for them that no other woman could or would ever do!!! When I found out about this disease infested tramp I started asking my neighbors and friends questions. Every single person had the same opinion, she is trailer trash. It is well known that she has contracted several venereal diseases and spread them to multiple partners. She only wants a "good time", so can't call her a ho (unlike her stripper/hooker? daughter). The store managers, vendors, salesmen and other staff are well aware of her ethics and discuss it freely. They also are affected by her flirtations. One woman's husband went home and told his wife about the unwanted attention and attempted seduction. His wife went to the store and jumped on the wrong cashier. The more you try to discuss her reasoning the more she feels that you are paying her a complement. Believing herself to be a home wrecker amps her ego. Some men will do anything for a good time, but seriously that does not make you desirable or pretty in any way. Too bad she is too afraid to tell the truth and let the women know so they can escape from the dogs that they are married to.

i was hired at a dollar general store that they just recently built...worked like a slave dog 70 hr in 5 days.. i was told that they had to get my criminal background back before i could start so a week before i started the manager called me and said we was all clear and hired me...after working the 70n hrs i get told i failed my background. i called corperate and GIS and the only thing i had was a recent moving traffic violation..that they did a consumer report..what does my dmv record have to do with criminal history?? i have never been in trouble. i am getting the run around..and now told i had no right working without go ahead..but my manager hired me and gave me schedule..now corperate says store mgr has to pay me.im not there problem

First let me say, I love Dollar General. But I do have a complaint. We have D/G stores all over Laurel, MS and I have been in everyone of them. The store usually go to is in Sandersville. And it really needs some work. This store is always cluttered with stock in the aisles. You can barely get around in it. It is the closest store to my house, but I tend to go to other stores because they are so much cleaner. Hopefully, this will get someone's attention and you can see to it that our Sandersville store gets a face lift. Thanks.

Great job! The GD in Drummonds, TN is the only place to run to. Otherwise I have a 15 to 20 minute drive. But I had quit going to DG due to employee rudeness, lack of cleanliness, out of date food and lack of merchandise. But we have a new General Manager, who's name is Chris. Little by little the bad employees are being replaced. I'm always greeted now. The store is clean and the shelves are no longer empty. A neighbor told me about the change, so I stopped in. And she was right! What a difference a good General Manger can make! Great job in picking a winner to run this store . Yea for Chris!

I went to the dg in rose bud Arkansas to grab some drinks and as we went to checkout the cashier Mary said is that all? And I said I hope so, just getting off work I was a little tired.then she said in a rude tone I hope so to.I shrugged it off not wanting to argue.then as I was about to pay I pulled out a hundred dollar bill think it was a ten and she got all mad and said we don't take hundreds before noon I thought I didn't hear her correctly and I asked what do you mean?then she said again as rude as she could be, it means I don't take hundreds before noon.if yall don't get some decent employees I'm just gonna find another store to go to

i went to the dollar general store at 2375 snow rd n semmes al. i arrived at the storeat 7:55 al. yes i did know that the store doesnt open until 8:00 however i noticed that both not one but both doors to the store were wide open so i figured they were already taking customers. as i pulled up and put my car into park a lady walks into the store shuts the doors and locks them as im getting out of my car. So my question is would the owner of that store like it very much if they knew that she lost a sale and all future sales from me over five minutes??? and yes this is a dollar store i pass twice a day and could be giving my business to them on a regular basis. if you hate your job so much that five minutes puts a kink in your whole day then i suggest you get another job.

It is disturbing that I have complained about being short changed by the same clerk "Glenda" more than once. And the last time was in a long line and she called me a liar so I told her I was calling the police and she gave me my money back...............seems strange if I was lying why did she give me my $15 back? I love having a Dollar General in our little town of Spring Hill Kansas. But I think the managment should look close at this employee.....I DON"T TRUST HER!

I have tried on several occassions to get a job with Dollar General. I have the qualifications, but am told no positions. Then the next time I go in there are new employees. With the way economy is, why can they not give me a chance.

I have shopped the Dollar General store #12628 in Ellijay, Georgia since they first open. I have had so many problems there. I have found so many out dated items and so many items that rings higher then what the shelf price tag is. When I've pointed it out to the employee they say they have to go by what it rings up for. They say they will remove the sign. For two months now I go in to pick up the same item, tag still up, still being charged more then the shelf tag. The employees are very unprofessional and very rude. When I asked to speak to the store manager he turns out to be more rude then the cashier. Today the man in line behind me was saying he is having the same problems with items ringing higher the the price on the shelf. Even though it is the closest store to me, guess I'll have to start driving a few more miles to shop where my business is appreciated.

Ok the Dollar General in Melbourne Florida on Babcock Rd has not had air conditioning in 10 days. It's 100 degrees here in Florida. They can't even sell the chocolate candy and those poor employees are dying in there. I love DG but I'm not going to give my money to a corporation that couldn't care less about their employees or customers. I bet the big wigs at headquarters are sitting on their air conditioned offices. FIX IT!!!!

I often go to the Dollar General in Krebs, Oklahoma. The past few times I have been in the store the floor was extremely filthy and dirty. It looked like much had been spilled on the floor and tracked through.

The Dollar General in Laurie, MO treated me quite poorly today. I was wearing a matching skirt and halter top, and was refused entry to the store because I wasn't wearing a "shirt". The skirt comes to the knees and the top covers well what is supposed to be covered. BTW, it was 95 degrees and OH! Yeah, this is a LAKE AREA, but I wasn't wearing a bikini top!! The nearby grocery store was happy to have my business. While the next closest DG is a few miles further from me, they will get my business in the future. Incidentally, I'm a local to the area and have shopped that store for years, but not again after today. The gals at the grocery store, where I am a much more regular customer, were shocked and promptly gave me the store manager's name, she will be hearing from me.

July 28, 2012. This is an ongoing issue with Dollar General #6670 Sorrento, Fla. No matter when I go into this store I have to wait in a line with 6 or more people in front of me due to only one cashier. Today a woman went looking for another clerk to see if she would come and open another register. The manager came and started yelling at the customer telling her that she shoud tell the cashier that there is a long line. the cashier was going non stop trying. There was no way the casher could see if there was a line (she was short and products piled up way high so she could not see the line. The manger said "I'm not going to take this from no customer .....get out of my store. This manager was very unprofessional, yelling at the customer and started crying. My grandaughters where with me and had to witness this. No matter when I go into this store it is the same thing. Other customers were complaining too. It was not just this manager. Ithappend with the man that works there too. I feel they are overworked and not enough personnel working there. I'm sorry to see her go thru this, but if you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen. They need more training is what I think

I don't think this will ever be investigated but u have s district in ar. That one dm due to her bigot ways has lost over 11good managers. She started wirh me. I was let go while on med.leave. trust me i am not doing this as a disgrundled employee i can prove this. I was in management fr 31years before i took this job. Closed the plant down. There is a big picture of this mess dont want to bore u. Her name is andrea von. They sent a hr person down here a couple months ago because a red flag went up. U guys did nothing now ur losing four more mgns. And we are getting a lawyer.

The employees are rude and always look like they just ate a sour pickle never smile. i go to the one by my house in Missouri City, Texas. 2-Years ago before havivg all blacks the store c/s was a lot better and by the way i am black. They don't even want to give you a bag unless you buy over 5-items you need to leave with it in your hand and they have a paper taped on the counter saying that is what corporate want them to do.

i have been to the dollar store in garysburg nc and 2 certain employees there are very ignorant i do not even want to shop there anymore they say smart remarks and follow around in the store they make me feel real uncomfortable and i am a loyal customer they shouldn't even have a job there they are not people persons deeply disappointed

I am a loyal customer of Dollar General until TODAY!!! I went to the store on Jones Avenue , Oak Hill , WV . There was an employee with his pants hanging below his ass with his underwear showing proudly. I asked another employee where to find something , she was sitting in the floor , she never offered to show where the item was at , but pointed to an area . After looking for the item and not finding it I returned and asked her again , she still did not offer to show me where to find it , instead she sat in the floor and again sent me down the isle . I WALKED OUT OF THE STORE AND WENT TO FAMILY DOLLAR. I will not shop where the employees walk around with there underwear showing or the employees refuse to treat me like a customer in need of assistance .I am truly disappointed in Dollar General. A DISAPPOINTED CUSTOMER

We are tired of a having a rude cashier who thinks she is to good to check certain people out. She will check out everybody but the former family of her husband who died back the first of the year. She always checked the family out before he passed away so what's the difference now. I can defend myself but my teenage son or little daughter can not from this kind of disrespect. So everybody need to take a stand againsty any kind of rudeness from a employee.
