Dollar General Corporate Office & Headquarters

I stopped at the Dollar General Store in Ashland, MS. 38603, to purchase items badly needed for my home. I will never again return there even if it means I have to go elsewhere. The cashier was rude and very unconcerned. I noticed her name was Christie. She slung my items in bags and overcharged me at that. Never will I ever go to that particular store again, even if it means I desperately need items I purchased. I thought Dollar General valued their customers. Was I wrong !! She could have cared less. What kind of company would hire someone of such rudeness. The store was filthy, items were misplaced and hard to locate. I didn't so much mind the misplaced items as much as I minded her attitude.

Spent my last bit of gas to go to the dollar general in hiddenite nc, get to registrar and the ebt part is down but not cash or credit,go figure starved till this day and got zilch live in a small town with n o cash. sad

I live in Falmouth,ky,and I wish you could do something about the Dollar General.It is always a mess inside and out.When you try to get a cart to use indoors their is always something in the way,like the concrete barriers or the ice machine.The store inside is always dirty.I don't think it has been clean since Mr.Sissel was there trying to organize it.I hear that they are moving into another building.Lets hope this one is more organized and clean.The store in Campbell County,Ky they are really nice and clean.I won't be back in the one in Falmouth again.

I am the mayor of the City of Everman and I wish to discuss with someone the store located at 1909 everman parkway. I have been told by some of your clerks that it is possible that the store will close due to falling sales. I can understand the falling sales because when you try to shop the shelves are empty and the stock is setting on carts blocking the isles. You can't make a sale if the item is still on a cart. It would be a hardship on my small community if what I am being tolk is true, but I can understand the loss of sells under the present conditions.

I went to the Dollar General in Mansfield TX. I have shopped there many times. It does lack organization on all occasions but last week it was filthy-even roaches on the floor. The floors were all full of filth and this was not a one day accummulation. There were spilt spots. The entrance was trashy. It smelled bad. I asked for the manager and guess what? He was the one I was talking to and he didn't care that the store was filthy. He said, "well, I come over from Dallas." Who cares???? The people in line with me said the same thing and none of us will frequent the store again in its present state. BAD BAD BAD Thank goodness I have other choices as to where to spend my money!!

I would rate 0 stars if possible! Worst store ever!!! I am a couponer and went couponing at the Dollar General Store # 10420 located at 2200 W Court St in Janesville, WI 53548 last night. I was told that I could not use a $1/1 Coupon for an item that was $1 when the stores Coupon Policy clearly states I can as long as the coupon doesn't states "free ______" I clearly pointed this out to the cashier and pulled up the stores coupon policy online on my cell phone, which in return the cashier stated "How am I supposed to know that is a real coupon policy?" I then stated she could pull her coupon policy out and she said she didn't have to cause she knew their coupon policy (When she clearly didn't)And then stated she would not get fired just because I misread the policy. First of all this is wrong to say to a customer(no matter what your title in the company is) secondly The company should clearly educate their store employees on their policies! I am tired of being treated as a crook just because I coupon and save money! This is prejudice and I will not go down quietly! I suggest you do something about this and train your employees the correct way otherwise take down your policy and do NOT accept coupons no more and lose all the couponers like myself. I am but 1 out of millions of couponers that feel exactly the same way!

I would like to let you know that customer service at your St. Johnsville, New York store is absolutely horendous. There is an older gentlemen cashier that has no personality, is rude, and moves at a snails pace. The items in the store are never in the right spot (with the correct price) or sale flyers are in the wrong spot indicating a sale and when you get to the register they aren't on sale and the cashier (this older gentlemen) gives you attitude when you say it was in the section with the sale flyers. I had to wait over fifteen minutes to be waited on because he was checking in vendors and the store is always crowded and aisles are blocked with merchandise that needs to go up so that you can't even get to the items that are already on the shelf! I am totally disgusted with St. Johnsville, New York's Dollar General!!!!

i am in decatur ga and i just went to use a manufacturer coupon that i printed online and i was denied. that is against the store policy ms. gail store manage for moreland ave in decatur ga 3032 area code i jut went t another dollar general 11 miles further to se the same coupon NEVER SHOP AT THIS STORE LOW BUDGET STINK ATTITUDE EMPLOYEES 404 921 4429 MY NUMBER IF YOU WANT TO HEARTHE RESTO THIS NONSENSE

Very poor customer service! I myself work at a store and we value the cust unlike the experience that occurred with my visit tonight!!!! Very unfriendly very unprofessional and the store lacked concern for customers in general!

I went to my local Dollar Store In Hartford City Indiana and I usually dont have any problems, but the manager of this store waited on me. I won some dog food coupons from the Purina instant win game. 2 to be exact, and the manager took the coupons from me, scratched her head and exhaled loudly, then she looked at the counterfit coupon sheet hanging by the register. She looked it over twice and the coupons I was redeeming WERE NOT ON THE COUNTERFIT LIST. She scratched her head again and proceeded to tell me that she couldnt accept them because they wouldnt scan, but they did have a bar code and she did NOT even try to scan them. She just told me that she didnt make the rules and they dont take free coupons, when thats really funny because Ive taken alot of free coupons in there and that same manager had to help the employees with the coupons because they didnt know how to redeem them, and I had no problem, besides the manager being rude to me and her employees!

I was at my local Dollar General Store in Chatsworth, Ga. when myself and several other customers had to listen to two cashiers having a conversation with a customer that can only be described as "trash talk". The customer was a man and the two cashiers were women. I'll not go into detail of what all was said except to say that the highlight was when one cashier made the comment to the man that he would have to "talk another language if he if he had a chance with the other cashier because her man was a mexican". Which the man replied "you don't know what kind of language I can talk in the bedroom". Then the cashier who's 'man is a mexican' said something to the effect that she could out talk him in the bedroom. Just pure trash, all I could think was what if there where small children in the store listening to this............... DISCUSSING!!!!!

The Dollar General Store on Yandell Rd. in Gluckstadt, MS (Canton, MS address I believe)is a regular stop on my way home from work, usually at least four days a week. The staff there is always friendly and helpful to the customers. I had rather get my groceries here than at Kroger down the road. I can usually find almost everything I need to make a meal at home. The only meat this store carries is ground beef and it would be so nice if they could at least carry chicken. I understand there is a new Dollar General opening with a grocery in Canton, but that location is not convenient at all for me after work. It is around seven or eight miles north of where I live. Is there any way the Dollar General on Yandell Road could carry more than just ground beef? This store gets so much after-work business and I have heard other people say it would be nice to if they carried more meat.

I brought my handicapped son and his seeing eye dog into the store last week to get some dog food. He likes the Old Roy brand. The dog has been trained to shop and pay for items using a debit card. Unfortunately, your cashier must have a bias against service animals. When Walter presented his debit card, the cashier just laughed. We ended up having to go to the Family Dollar. I hesitate to give the store location for fear of reprisal as we shop there often. Does Dollar General offer diversity training to address such things?

I sometimes go to Dollar General in Stow, Ohio ( Kent rd)..And the service there is lousy!!! They talk amoung themselfs instead of greeting customers, who are standing at the register...One girl was TEXTING at the register...One of the assistant managers, she always acts like your bothering her...Then two employees were talking (at the register) I am standing there..No greeting, just grabs my stuff and rings it..the whole time talking to the other girl..The cashier begins to use CURSE words as she's talking...I was VERY UPSET, by the language..I went home and called the store to talk to a REAL manager, the guy said he was an Assistant..when I told him..he acted like it was NO big deal, and he was RUDE himself....It is to the point I will go 20 mins out of my way then 2 mins...for better service....Someone really needs to teach these employees about customer service..because they SURE DO NOT GIVE IT!!! Maybe hire alittle bit older people..then these young people, who dont want to work..just talk

I live in virginia and the Dollar General in Manakin Sabot,Va ; is pass horrible. The lead person is ghetto and disrespectful. The store is cluttered full of merchandise and she calls her co-workers that are black "Niggers" ; and need i remind you she is black too. She don't know how to run the store in a correct manner. I feel that someone need to go and check out that Dollar General because it is horrible and they have lost a lot of customers/guest. I know all this because my sister works there and she said that guest see all the merchandise all on the floor and they walk out.

The Dollar General Store in Niles Michigan on S 11th street is so rude to customers,and if you ask for a home office number to report the store - the manager(Nellie) shrugs and tells you she does not know it.I guess that's one way to keep customer complaints down. Our Family Dollar store just closed out here-I thought I'd just shop at the Dollar General,not after today-After waiting at the empty register for a few min.I called out to let a cashier know people were at the register,because there was no one at the register,and a line of people behind me also waiting.Instead of a cashier coming to the register-We got yelled at from the manager who was checking in the Frito lay vendor.I feel she should have asked the vendor to wait and checked out the line of customers,not make us wait,but hey the customer isn't important right.Then mouthing off to me like a teenager-not a manager-I asked for her district mgr number or the Home office for Dollar General and got told by her(Nellie) good luck she wasn't from this store and she didn't know them .Customer service at the Dollar general home office wasn't much help either,so I guess that's why the employees don't worry about being reported.Do yourself a favor shop anywhere but Dollar general

The new store opened here in Negaunee, Mi a few months back. I bought two gallons of milk there and they both were bad/sour tasting and I took them back. Been scared to buy milk there ever since but yesterday I bought another just to see. Got home and it also tasted bad. Took it back and will never buy milk there again. Same Jilbert's milk elsewhere taste good, (same brand - flavor - date) no matter where you buy it. I know as I drink 4 gallons a week myself so I know the taste really well. There is a reason for it always to taste so bad at this one store. Also no one at the cash register ever, you have to wait a while for someone to find out there are customers waiting to check out. I do not like that in a store.

i worked there and i quit because i didnt get money they owed me for mileage from april still dont have it and i just keeping getting transferred apparently dollar general doesnt care about paying its employees

Pembroke Pines Florida..........corner of Pines Blvd and Palm Ave location. Someone PLEASE clean and fix the disgusting men's bathroom!! Holes in the walls, soap dispenser torn off wall and on the floor, NO hand towels, ect. Where is the management of this store?
