Dollar General Corporate Office & Headquarters

On 11/12/13 I ran by Dollar General located at 201 SE 1st Ave in Mineral Wells, TX. When I went to check out, the store manager Beth rang up my purchases and took my money. When I turned back toward the store to look for a friend, she told me I could not purchase anything else and had to leave the store with my bags. I have spent hundreds of dollars with DG, to keep from having to fight the crowd at Wal Mart. I will no longer be shopping at that store and plan to tell everyone I come in contact with about my experience. This is not the 1st time I have been talked sown to by someone at this store- but was the last.

The store in our little town has gone completely to the dogs for the past year or so. It is not clean,( even the outside in front, has cigarette butts all over). It is so junked up inside, you can't get around in the store! Would love to see it cleaned up!

New management not very friendly and allows a line to stand for 15 minutes with customers walking out while she sits in the back noted by myself when I walked in the back and caught her just sitting. She had walked by and saw the line but went into her office so I followed her. This use to be one of the best stores in the area but I won't shop there no more and I have noticed the parking lot is not as crowded as before. I am hoping you can get this store back on track it use to be one of my favorite places.

On Oct 17 2012 i wrote a personal check for items that i purchased for some reason my check was returned but redeposited for payment on Nov 4th and the check was paid. This morning in my bank statemnt your debited $25.00 from my account for a service fee?? service fee for what!!!!! I am further looking into this matter to get my money back. I do believe it illegal to debit money from someones back account without their consent i will never shop at your dirty, crappy, unfriendly stores again and also spread the word.

So. I had a check wrongfully returned to Dollar General, Check has been paid, overdrafts have been paid, Dollar General has created a "Corporate Check" and submitted it to my bank for their "fees". I have never been contacted by Dollar General in regards to this "Returned Check" and they have submitted this "Corporate Check" to my bank for payment not once or twice but 3 times. Therefore not only being paid $90 so far but causing other checks to be returned. Today I had to put $300 in my account to bring it to "$00.00" After speaking with my bank as well as my ATTY, Dollar General is performing "Corporate Identity theft". I will be following this up with Law Enforcement in the Morning...

The dg on highland ave in beaumont tx has very rude and dispectful employees. The male employee got very rude with a48936998 elderly customer. They dont ask if you need help. They had things everywhere.

The Jefferson, Iowa store has gone downhill the past month to become filty dirty with floor spills and litter in every isle, shelves not stocked or in disarray, flipant "help" except for one male clerk. Store needs to be closed, cleaned and manager dismissed.

The customer service at the dollar general 2310 cunningham rd. Indianapolis 46224 . It is horrible!!! We purchased a 6 pack movie for 5.00 with a bunch of other items totaling over 60$ . Anyway we left the store went to eat while eating we noticed a slit in the plastic at the opening so we went to take it back and she refused with an attitude qent and looked at the video she said she didnt see her open or take anything but it was open and she still refused to exchange the movie or our money back. So the only people who lost out was us the custoner the store stole 5$ of our money they shoukd fixed.

It is over 100 degrees in the Dollar General in Brookwood, Alabama! It's so hot you cannot breathe in there. Please do something. The employees say it is controlled by corporate.

I was going to complain about the way some of the stores here in Longview, Tx, are run, and how the DM doesn't seem to give a cr*p. As long as she gets her lovers and ex-lovers to work for her why would she care how they're running the stores... But it looks like corporate has too much on their hands as it is to make sure their stores are running the way they should be.

I visited a store in Chicago on 71st off Stoney Island There was a coupon discrepancy. The manger came up and told the lady to remove all the coupons off the procedure because they would clear, unfortunately this was not the case. This manager Mr. Hodges told the young lady after she reapplied the coupon that she was hard headed and would be wrote up! This comment was in front of at least 20 customers! I called the district manager and am waiting on a call back!

I shop at Dg in Lafayette ,la I often wonder how the store makes any money. Most of the time there is nothing on the shelves ,but unpacked items are all over the store,and every week it seems to get worse. Why would co cut hours when the store is so backed up, I have to check the expiration date on everything because lots,s of times the item is out of date. A person would have to be stupid to run a store this way, product everywhere , that is one of the reason theft is so high in all of the Dg stores . The employee turnover is very high and I use to wonder why, now I know.

I have called the cooperate office a few times & the issue was addressed. However the trash is right back within a day or two all over the grounds around the store on route 115 Effort Pa 18330 I belong to a committee in our township that picks up trash on the roadside scattered by PIGS. I realize Dollar general has not thrown the trash however if it was outside your home you would pick it up and dispose of it. Thanks in advance. Pat

I approached the store at 6:55 Am in Port St Joe Fl Dollar Maraket, three employees outside smoking. The one peon with keys says it will be five minutes scurried into store and locked door.It would have taken me five minutes to even enter store. John was not there he is the manager and very nice person. These employees I feel were very rude and should not all been outside of store smoking.

At the dollar general in old fort NC and everyone that I have been to actually has the worst customer service ever.... they were stocking the shelves and I was standing with a line of shoppers at register for five to six min waiting on her to ring us out .. I hate the dollar general and when she does get there she acts like its a pain to do her job .. huffing abd puffing because she has to ring someone out. . I will never go back ALWAYS a horrible experience

Finally got someone to call me back. a week later. If you go in the Shialmar store watch out for the Mgr. He will chase you out, real mean. Ill never go in that store again. Neither wii my friends. It took them a week to get back wit me. It was real important that I talked with them. They just don't care

Dollar general in Yukon, Ok does not give the 10% discount they state online.

They never have the items I am looking for at the Dollar General in Centerville, TN. Some spots have been empty for 2 months or more.

worked at dg in 2011 to 2012 gave my 2 week notice b-4 i left my manager was taken 2 jail for stealing money so now the job i have is merchandising 1 of my stores is dg they r telling me i cant come 2 that store because i was banned when i left while the store was under investigation [okay they knew i was leaving so why did my dm not say this is not a good time for you to leave and if im banned why have i not recieved anything saying im banned really its been year show me proof

I visit the Dollar General in Taylorville, IL several times per week, usually with great service. This visIt was not the same. After throwing around my 12 pack of soda around I decided to exchange the pack. Upon my husband getting the new one, the cashier said Men are weird And I had better grab another since it had a piece of tape coming off, not being nice about it by the way. After ignoring her comment I proceeded to count my money as she continues asking how a can can be damaged. We replied with the fact it could be crushed and she rolled her eyes. The fact is, I work in customer service & even if you disagree with a customer, it's not your place to say so. Unfortunately I didn't catch her name, nor was a given a receipt.
