I would rate this store negative if it allowed me to. Upon entering the Wewoka, OK store, I overheard the manager tell the cashier, "Keep a close eye on her, I'm sure she's going to fill her purse." I have never stolen anything in my life. I quietly walked up to them both, opened my purse and said I have nothing coming in to this store and I'll be damn I have anything extra when I leave. I will not be returning to this store! Extremely poor customer service!

I was told to go on internet for application and that the assessment has to be done first. All I get is a run around through so many 'sign ins' and the sites don't take you to the application, one place I could go to the store and get a paper application. Everytime I go they say go online, also the assessment has to be done first, so why don't it come up first. Please tell me how to get an application and the in a easy way. Thanks

please remove this product from your stores.it is killing pets.it has killed 1 of my cats and almost 2 more..many complaints have come about from this product..i for 1 and seeking legal council on this matter.

I was just at a Dollar General store and it was freezing the employees where wearing coats and gloves and asked about the heating issues they stated they could touch thermostat , this is a little ridiculous as the customers felt the same way ,,people can not even shop for what they need ,they grab something and then out , ,,,people wake up they more they shop ,the more you make ,look for stores like this to be closed right away ,, Good luck ,change management ,,I know the more the store makes the more the manager makes in bonus ,,,, not stupid ,,,

I was in your Mariett, Ga location on Powder Springs Road. Your cashier was on your company's phone obviously on a personal call. She didnt acknowledge me and just continued to have her conversation while ringing me up rather than hang up on her call. This is extremely rude and unprofessional. I will no longer conduct business with your company if this is the customer service that is provided. I did get her name on the tag but wont post here. I will be happy to provide in another means of communication.

we live in FL i work at one of DG stores our store is so hot all the time we some time dont feel to good working may we start wareing black shorts if you cant cool our store down there is not one of you would work in your office in this heat what does it take for DG to understand our store is so hot people stop shoping before they done they say its to hot to stay longer

I think it is very wrong for the Store Manager in Marshville, NC of Dollar General would refuse to hire a pregnant girl.... She said the girl was highly qualified for the job and really liked her app.. but once she found out she was pregnant, refuses to hire her. Isn't that discrimination... We all need to have a job and be able to make a living for us and our children.. I will no longer shop at any Dollar General locations.. And I will post on FB and every other media source I can about this discrimination against a young pregnant girl.

The so called manager in (LeBleu Settlement) Lake Charles , LA , Hwy 3059 is terrible to say the least .

I was really upset I went to ask for the key for the restroom . And the employee said we had to use the mens . Okay but I walked in restroom was filthy. So I told the employee if u know its dirty why would expect my 3yr old to use it. I asked her for the girls restroom jey she told me it was out of order with no sign on the door.I understand people can be dirty but come on my 3 yr old had to use it.

Can you have your workers particularly in the Greenacres Florida location on Sherwood Road and Lakeworth, stop licking their fingers and putting their fingers in their mouth to count my change. That is how germs spread, please have them use a wax to moist their finger tips, they sell them at Office Depot to loosen the dollars. That is gross

Why, oh why, is Dollar General under the impression that everyone loves that fake cinnamon reek put off by the craft brooms and bagged pine cones in the store? These items are present at all times but it gets 100% worse from October to December. It is nearly impossible for me to walk into the store near me ( San Antonio) without gagging, gasping or usually both. There are so many of these products that the noxious odor is strongly detectable from the parking lot! The items are placed "strategically" around the entire store so that no matter what aisle one goes down, olfactory assault is guaranteed. Why is this necessary?

I went to 4 Dollar General stores in one day with my coupons off the former purchase receipts stating, "Nov 29-Dec 1 only." It clearly states: "Take an additional 50% off already reduced price last chance clearance items." 2 of the stores cashiers were so confused by this coupon, they had to ask co workers what that meant, and they said the prices were already reduced. The other two stores had smarter people working that actually did what the coupon said to do. Dollar General, you HAVE to educate your people. This is so frustrating for a customer to waste gas and time going from store to store and trying to teach these people how to use one of your stores coupons. also, NUMEROUS times you have expired food items on the shelf from a year or two ago. Please correct this issue.

I shop at this store 3 to 5 times a week. This morning i went to do some shopping and the store was not open yet at 9am there was a young lady there that apologized and told me shes trying to get someone there asap. Later i returned to the store and asked the cashier why the store was not open his reply was i over slept this morning. This young man is very unprofessional he just kinda laughed it off like it was not a big deal. Trevor is his name and i hope sone changes are made

Store won't exchange my unopened phone! And I have the receipt! Never shopping at dollar general again

The Monmouth IL. Store emlpoyees are having to whet 2 to 3 layers. I shop in the store regularly it's freezing in the store. They said it's not there fault. Someone please do something. They are wearing fingerless gloves and long underwear under their pants. Shame on you. For treating your employees like this!

The 2 D.G. stores that are located on 182 are very good. The only one issue is they lost their most important employee . recently Candice moved on to a different place where they gave her the promotion she so deserved . the store took a little hit at being organized but are bouncing back quickly.

The dollar general store in greenville has poor customer service. They follow people as if they are stealing mainly targeting a particular race. No help with service. The manager has been there for years and i dont see how with her bad attitude! The store is always messy with freight loose . Hardly no room to walk down isles. I had no idea they would allow such things to go on in a store and not investigate

I am a frequent shopper in your Woodbury NJ store. I live very close to this store and can walk there. There hasn't been any heat in this store for over a week. The average temp in NJ at this time of year has been in the 40's. I cant believe a store with as many locations as you have would allow this to be. Those poor employees I feel sorry for them, that they have to deal with this. They are walking around with their winter coats on. If this isn't fixed I will call the better BBB, and the state to report you for treating your employees so bad.

Went to local store at 6:30 so I could be sure to get the LG Verizon phone posted in the Black Friday sell that was to start at 7:00, only to find out, no phone no rain check no nothing. If you are not going to sell them then don't advertise that you will.

The Dollar General at 15th and Post in Midwest City Ok is a huge mess. You can not even walk down the aisles. If you went in you would think they were just starting to stock the stoe. Wrong! It is like this all the time. I drive to 29th and Choctaw Road to a nice clean store where I can find what I am looking for.
