Poor management

Very disappointed with the service I received today at the Hamilton Place Mall store in Chattanooga, TN. The store manager, Jackie, is in serious need of customer service training. She was both condescending and unprofessional.She needs to consider another line of work, where she doesn't actually have to interact with people.

I would give Dillard's zero stars if it was available. They treat their employees terribly. They should be ashamed of themselves! They pit employees against each other for sales. Horrible environment, miserable managers, don't work here even if you are facing becoming homeless!! NEVER SHOP THERE EVER AGAIN!!! I TOLD EVERYONE I COULD NOT TO SHOP THERE!

Poor customer service, unpleasant shopping experience

Recently while visitng Hot Springs I went to Dillard's. I was disregarded by four sales associate who didn't have any customers or very few. I was amazed at the total disrespect and disregard for customer satisfaction. I have been a Dillards customer for over 30 years. What a shame that those employees failed at something so simple as common courtesy and respect. They should remember that their customers are essential to their employment in Dillards.

Worst company to deal wi

I tried to pay my statement last month and I couldn't get in the system. it said it didn't recognize my password or email address. it is the same as it was when first established in 2004. I finally got through enough to pay by debit card. when I got the email acknowledgment back it shown I had been charged $9.99 for using my debit card. now I have received a statement for $25.00 for a nylate charge. you are not only the third worst company to work for you are the number one worst company to buy from. I will cut up my Dillard's card so I don't have to deal with you again.

I do agree with mike , Dillard's it's very Hostile Work Environment Poor Mgmnt I use to work for them , its the worst place ever .

Abilene's Men's Department (Suits) had to get someone to wait on me and then had to get them again to measure for alterations. Then had to call 3 times to get someone to answer. Then found that alterations were completed a week ago and no call.

Horrible employers

I have worked for Dillard's for about 4 mos now and I have been treated horribly and unfairly. I am 7 mos pregnant and I have a doctors note that allows me to sit down while at work and I am constantly yelled at about sitting and told not to sit. I work at the Estée Lauder counter inside of Dillard's. I also am being forced to quit my job when my baby is due because I will recieve no maternity leave.

GREAT SERVICE!!!

I came in to shop for my daughter at dillards northwoods mall. and the the girl that worked in the juniors department was great!! I haven't had great service like that in years she made sure I picked out the right stuff for my daughter I made sure to take her card and her name was noha I will definitely be there to shop again thank u dillards for having a great employee like her .I was very pleased with the service I got.

Bad Sales

The pass year your sales rating has gone down due to not having good sales, I been shopping with Dillards over 20 years and this is the worse sales I have ever seen, I would hope your management would want to fix this problem. Base on what I see every week you are going in the hole. It is unfair to your sale people to be let go because they can not make the sales.

Internet credit card payment

The poor customer services for paying My Dillard's card is abominable. This website does not work. I have used the same e-mail address for the last 10 years and I have made computer payments to Dillard's through GE Capital for about 5 years now. The computer does not recognize my e-mail address and the offer to pay my bill for an additional $10 is more than outrageous. It is an insult to a loyal customer as well as gouging consumers. My Dillard's Card may just have to be cancelled.

unhelpful rude

fire wheel Dillard woman's shoe dept . could care less to help customers and do not know how, do not care to search for a shoe they don't have at another store. I don't know, i don't know how to do that dumb dingy associates.

Rude manager

I went shopping last wensday at dilliards in boynton beach mall. I lost my keys too my car,when I asked too see the manager,i was told too wait by the managers officer.The manager,his name was Shane,stuck his head out the office door,said too me,NO KEYS FOUND,Than he slammed the officet door.I knocked on the door,Someone inside said,WERE NOT HOME,GO AWAY. I was shocked,Shane was so rude,I want too report this too the main office this week.

I have been shopping at this location for about 10 years. I have never been treated rudely until yesterday. I wanted to get my make-up done at the Lancôme counter and I was refused the representative Ana.. Said it was a two item purchase with no refund, I explained that I had purchased a dress and that I was in my way to an event but she said that it was Dillard's policy that the customer purchase two items. I then asked a woman named Segret who has worked for Clinique for years and she explained that the makeover was complimentary and she was kind enough to help me..

Horrible service

I am a frequent shopper at Dillards in Boise, ID. Management is horrible in this store and so unfriendly. Not only that but you feel hounded by the associates who stare at you like hungry vultures waiting for you to enter their department. This company needs to work more on customer service and less on sales. I feel as if I am just a number.

Registry is a JOKE

My husband and I registered at Dillard's for our wedding about three months ago. We, of course, received several of the same gifts and some things I have changed my mind on. Apparently Dillard's ONLY offers gift cards for the things we want to return. I am infuriated because now we have hundreds of dollars to a place that is not the top of my list to shop. We also registered at Bed Bath & Beyond who has given us no grief whatsoever in returning things for cash. This is just bad business in my opinion. I will make sure friends and family do not register here and I highly suggest that everyone who reads this will do the same.

Excellent Customer Sevice

I received EXCELLENT customer service from Shannon Smith the store manager at the Northpark store in Dallas, Texas. She went ABOVE AND BEYOND to make sure I was satisfied. THANK YOU SO MUCH SHANNON!

I have been a customer of Dillards for many years but the service I recently received from the Manager Chris at the Greenbrier store in Chesapeake Va. has made me shop elsewhere. He is not a people person and does not know how to treat a loyal shopper.

Customer in the know

Dillards at Oak Park Mall in Overland Park, Kansas is doing major construction in their store and they didn't bother to get a building permit. The store manager and the district manager do not want corporate to find out. I just might call the city of Overland Park.

Save Money

I have shopped Dillard's for many many years and have excellent service and quality of clothing. However, Dillard's can save hundreds of thousands of dollars by getting rid of their telephone system. Every time I call a store in the Jacksonville area and ask the recording for any department, there is not answer at that department. If anything, have the call go to an voice mail so I can leave a message and anticipate a call back. Still a great store to shop at though.

Manager

The only word I have to describe the experience is HORRIBLE!!! It amazes me of Dillard's has employees such as managemer Brownsville, Texas. She was just horrid. No professionalism, total lack of respect for her employees, with a big fat ego six feet in front of her. I mean this woman was rude and just plain sour. I mean I am, well was a loyal customer but after what I experiences I rather drive 46 min to Macy's. I'm going to make sure I tell my friends to avoid this store due to the total disregard to customer service and complete disregard of professionalism. You can perceive a total dysfunctional business environment from the lack of leadership in that store. It is evident throughout the times I shopped in there. I witness this lady manager be extremely rude to one of the employees, it made me sick to my stomach. What amazes me is how Dillard's has total disregard of its own employees, which by the way generate millions of cash......shame on you. I'm so glad I don't work there and I'm happy so say I won't shop there either.
