I fell if it is a liget company they would be willing to post the name of the company and for your informantion they should have to give you their tax ID number for their company. Also charging a fee to employers would stop most of the scams for jobs. Help clean up your site. Thanks

HELP, PREDATOR SPAMMING – LOS ANGELES CRAIGSLIST CELL PHONES PAGE IS FLOODED WITH SIMILAR ADS FROM THE SAME WHOLESALER! September 20, 2012 My Dear Craigslist Partners, I always thought that you can post one or 2 ads every 48 hours for cell phones. I have been buying/repairing and selling cell phones for over 2 years and always followed the rules. A few weeks ago I noticed a seller appeared that averages about 50-80 + ads per pay. I have called them and went there, it is a business, where they do the same thing as I do, but on a larger scale. I do not think it is fair for a large business to be able to list 100 s of free ads, many for the same model phones, just changing a few worlds in the title, so they can break the rules and be undetected. I always thought Craigslist was for making money, but in an honest and competitive way. But by allowing this to happen, and thus putting many people and small business that DO FOLLOW THE RULES out of business. And by fixing cell phones at nights, sometimes until early morning, I am able to put myself thru 3rd year of college and to pay 50 % of the nursery for my 4 year old. (I am a single dad.) Pals let me know if anything has been done or will be done in regards to this, because I already heard that some people did complain and nothing happened, supposedly because they have someone on inside at Craigslist San Francisco office ( which I find hard to believe.) It’s 1:46pm September 20th, 2012 It looks like they have a full time person doing it, or the whole staff, may be in China... but from my experience, all they have to do is to save different variation of titles and ads, so they do not have to retype it, and post as many ads as they can, and about 1/3 rd. of them will get listed... Can you imagine if everyone would do 100 posts for 10-20 items they are selling? Next thing you know, Wall-mart will jump into the game, and there will be more sellers like me.... must say i thought craigslist would be a good place to sell video games. When i first started posint my games would get flagged and deleted for no reason whatsoever. It truly sucks. This site is such a time waster to keep repositng the ads and keep flagging.The people are the bottom of the barrell on there. Mabye if they charged something like $1.00 per ad and take like $30 deposit till all ads are used up this would keep the ads up becasue they toom money and have to be responsible for it. Overall craigslist sucks becasue the public ruined it. Ill stick to ebay thanks, sure they take a fee, but they deserve a fee for selling my stuff! CRAIGSLIST SUCKS! I am harrasment problem with one of your Craig List employees. This person is deleting my ads before they even come to the board. My ads are no more or less provocative than anyone else. There is no reason for the flagging. I have threatened via email to report the harassment and the problem stops. Then a week later it will pick up again. I have written a letter to your corporte office to resolve the issue. What can I do?

I've posted several employment ads on Craigslist with no problems but now when I try to post an ad it wants to verify my phone number and it won't verify it. I've checked the reasons why I could be having this problem but after reviewing those I have concluded that I shouldn't be having any problems. I have clicked the contact us link and what a joke. I get in email form the same stuff on the website which as stated before is absolutely no help and forget trying to contact an actual live person. I don't think they exist at Craigslist, it's probably being ran by a computer or something. All I can say is poor customer service and as soon as I find another comparable website to place this ad on I will and that will eliminate the need for Craigslist.

Why did Craigslist disable the iPhones. It is now a major pain to reply to a post. They were not thinking with clear heads.

Craig's list is what you make it. I run a successful Bussiness on craig's list. 1. I deal with local people. 2. I do not answer E mail, They must provided a phone # . All of Craig's list tips and guide lines are put there for a reason. Common sense.. If it looks like a Apple does not mean its a Apple. Read Craig's list terms of use and tip. I have been e-mails for the past two months + answering a request I put on Craig's List. Inquireies are being sent to e-mail address "bulldawg12@at.net". I would appreciate any help your office can provide to stop thesed incoming e-mails.

I have sold lots of stuff on CL. Some people are good and some are bad, it's a gamble. One time I had somebody call me at 1:00am in the morning to tell me I had there stuff, stolen sofa-sleeper. After about ten phone calls from these idiots over a month's time I invited them up to my place for an all out brawl (they never showed). They threatened my life numerous times all over a crapy 30 year old sofa-sleeper. They must of been on some crapy drugs. Now I am being harassed by a idiot who has flagged about 30+ of my adds, all because I would not sell him my VW. CL won't do anything about it. They keep sending me a dumb e-mail about what I should do when they are the ones who should be enforcing the rules ( sec.#4-c ) regarding flagging. I guess CL is to lazy to enforce their on rules and they try and leave it up to us to fend for ourselves. Nobody wants to help anymore, I guess it's every man or woman for themself. It just like YELP's rating system, what a bunch of lies, cheaters, and stealers. Hey what comes around goes around (Karma). I thouhgt about advertising with these companies with my business but I think I will spernd my advertising dollars elsewhere.

CL is the perfect place to go if you want to deal with the absolute bottom feeders of society, especially if you offer a service. Every douche I have encountered expects you to work for pennies on the dollar. CL is ok for selling stuff, although idiots can flag you off for ZERO reason. And the customer service in non existant. Don't waste your time if you are looking for real customers...pointless.

The problem is, thanks to scammers, the game has changed and the stakes are higher. I've bought and sold things on CL with no problems. Here's how I do it. 1. If there is no LOCAL ph#, hit the BACK button. NO exceptions. EVER. E..V..E..R period. If you sell, put your ph# ONLY, remove the email reply option and put NO EMAIL NO TEXTS in your ad. If you don't have the time/ability to call or receive calls, don't list or respond. You want to speak to a real person. If the seller has placed no ph# in their ad, then they will have to deal with missing out on potential business from you. It's THEIR loss. They will eventually learn. Texts AND emails AND live chat give scammers an anonymous gateway to con people. If you're willing to accept texts, put in your ad for them to text their ph# to you and then call and speak to them. I personally HATE texts, that's just me. This doesn't mean you can't be scammed by a person-to-person call, just use your common sense. 2. Before calling, write down the important questions you wish to ask about the item. If the person you speak to says you must go to this website, write down this reference #, blah, blah, HANG UP. Keep it LOCAL and SIMPLE. NEVER go to ANY websites. 3. Before calling, google the ph# in 'quotes' and then google the primary part of the title of the ad in 'quotes' also and look for similar CL ads posted in other cities with similar wording. Since even local ph#'s can be sent/forward to another city, state or even country, I strongly advise you to be careful regarding anyone who seems to be from another country. Some will say this is wrong to say or stupid to assume. I say I'm giving you good advice .... you do what you want with this advice. 4. If you have or have just started a small business and are thinking of advertising on CL, DON'T. You most likely will be prank called or constantly flagged by large competitors who will see you as a threat and will most likely hammer you until you leave or spam the category with their ads to push you to the next page. That's just how they operate. I know it ain't right. Small business owners will literally do battle on CL. 5. Don't expect CL to do anything in response to you. They don't wish to be bothered. I know this from personal experience. I've flagged and flagged those who are TRULY deserving ... sometimes it works if others join and also flag, but it's mostly just a waste of time. Just ignore the abusive, offensive and improper things and hope that others have the sense to do so too. If they don't, they'll get educated. CL can legally run their website any way they wish, so threats of lawsuits are just meaningless. 6. AVOID ads for loaning you money. Just take a GOOD LOOK below at the scammers AND victims posting on this very website. 7. CASH MONEY AND ITEM PHYSICALLY EXCHANGE SIMULTANEOUSLY IN PERSON FACE TO FACE OR FORGET IT. NO PAYPAL NO CREDIT CARD NO WESTERN UNION NO DEBIT CARD NO MONEYGRAM NO MONEY ORDER NO CHECKS NO CASHIER'S CHECK NO SHIPPING NO MAILING AND I WOULD TAKE A CELLPHONE AND A GOOD LARGE MEAN LOOKING FRIEND WITH ME DURING THE DAYTIME ONLY AND GO SOBER WITH AN OPEN MIND AND KEEN SHARP SENSES. LOOK AROUND YOU AT ALL TIMES. YOU WILL MEET ALL KINDS. EXAMINE EVERYTHING CLOSELY. BE VERY KNOWLEDGABLE OF WHAT YOU ARE LOOKING AT OR BRING SOMEONE KNOWLEDGABLE WITH YOU CHECK EVERYTHING ON IT TO MAKE SURE IT WORKS PROPERLY OR DON'T BUY IT. If everyone takes all of the advice above, the scammers will be thwarted and you will have screwed them over BUT GOOD and you will have no reason to complain to CL at all.

My rating say's poor because you claim to have excellent securuty people reading and watching for scams and you never show any justice any proof that the people who are doing are paying fines going to jail and as far as discrimination goes it is the vehicle for it because you don't force srticter regulations on the users deceptive practices witch by federal law are against the law these people will you ever make these people be accountable for the mistakes of deceptive advertising from you're site do you wvwe really answer any of these emails back??????

Ive posted and been flagged everytime I place my puppies for adoption with a small rehoming fee by this woman at the email address of: justice4allroberts@gmail.com. It appears many people besides myself are getting flagged by this woman who seems to think we cannot place our ad for a puppy to be adopted. You state that we can put this up with a small rehoming fee (explain what small is to you) is $150 rehoming/adoption fee the issue? Craigslist needs to stop all the bogus flagging these people are doing so they can adopt their pet and flag everyone else. Heres what this stalker wrote to me. I live in Myrtlebeach You can not market your puppies on CL. You may not be a breeder but you are selling puppies and that is against CL policy. Cane Corso's are not a common breed and very few people actually know what kind of dog it is. I pray you sell to responsible owners who know how to handle this breed because we see many put down each year. You will be flagged each time you post.

Why do car dealers list their cars as individual owners and then when you call them, they blatantly tell you that they are a dealer? If I were interested in buying a car from a dealer, I would not be looking under owners.

Ads with any of the following URL’s in their title or contents are a COMPLETE & TOTAL SCAM. Look for any of these following pictures that they ALWAYS use in their Craigslist ads. There is always a picture of what they are trying to sell you plus 1 of the following pictures with these URL’s in them. They don't sell anything; and they tempt you to one of their Chinese web sites with amazing prices on all kinds of electronics. They say they accept PayPal or major credit and debit cards in their ads, but THEY DO NOT. They only accept Western Union or payment through a Chinese bank. Send them money and you will never see your items and will never see your money again. Why do Craigslist and Western Union continue to allow these scams? I do not understand just why they set by and do ABSOULOTLY NOTHING? These bogus ads are appearing across the U.S.A. in all major cities Craigslist’s. Check your local major city Craigslist, and do a search using these URL’s I have listed here. You will see 300 to 500 ads per major U.S.A. cities (on average) across the United States. You do the math and you will see just how many of these ads Craigslist is allowing on their websites. I have also included the Hotmail and Yahoo addresses of these scammers as well.
