I just bought a new 2012 Charger RT two weeks ago. I have had to take in to the service department 3 times now and they still have not fixed the issue. There is some clicking noise coming from the drivers side front tire when I make a right turn. The first time, they said they found loose strut bolts... Next day the noise was back, Second time they replaced the wheel claiming an issue with the hubcaps... (umm this is an RT hubcaps Dodge WTF) still didn't fix it. Took it in the third time and they couldn't figure it out, left the ticket open with Chrysler Engineering) Now each time I have taken it to the service department at Greenway Dodge in Orlando FL on Colonial Drive, they were suppose to call me and give me an update... they never did each time I had to call to get a status update, Just poor customer service. I have attempted to contact Chrysler Case Management Department to get the ball rolling on processing this car as a Lemon. Whom ever is assigned to my case just happens to be on vacation. I have called several times and it seems like there is no one to help. I have had this car for 2 weeks and now have the worst image of Chrysler and now question even wanting this car.....
I have a 2011 dodge Journey and it will be a year tomorrow since we purchased it. I still have not gotten it fixed. I've had my car altered and rigged. I was told by capital city chrysler in jefferson city mo to deal with it. There body manager told me that chrysler has a shitty design on them and they suck. I will have to just deal with it. That was the exact words I was told. I've contacted customer care and have a case open but does not one bit of good. I very well think that I deserve to be very upset at this point. This problem happened to a car with 28 miles on it. I've voice my concerns at the car lot and to customer care and my end result is don't by a Journey the bumpers don't fit right and nothing you can do about it. Well in my case I work in retail in this town and will let every customer I can know about how well Chrysler stand behind there bumper to bumper coverage. I also will eat at the local fast food place across the road from the dealership and relate the same story's. This is a sad way of getting my concerns out since no one in the corporate office wants to talk to you. A case manager is not who needs to be dealing with this when I was told they are the ones that tell you to just glue a bumper one and add screws to make it fit. Why I can't just get a new bumper is beyond me. Less learned I will never own a Chrysler or Dodge product again. That is new or used. When my 4 kids get of age we will do the same with there cars. One year later and as unhappy as I was last July. case # 22318296
I've had dodge products all my life and was very happy, about 3 months ago I purchased a 2005 durango,a beautiful looking truck..then,I've had nothing but costly computer and electrical problems since, had to replace the computer itself and still have weird dangerous problems, the engine will just shut off on you out of the blue even on the highway, without warning,I bought this truck mostly to haul stuff back and forth to my daughters college about 300 miles away,I have no choice but to take this vehicke, but I'm terrified that something electronic will fail and ill be stuck..Hell,I'm afraid to get my family killed in it,I have no confidence at all in this vehicle, its a gamble to drive it anywhere,I am hoping that dodge will step up and recognize the dangerous flaws with this particular model before tragedies occur, and put out a recall on their known problems with the 4.7 engine and computer flaws,I'm so soured on dodge now I could not possibly bring myself to purchase another
I am a dodge nitro owner. My nitro is a 2007 model. I have been overall happy with my purchase up until now. I have been reading on the nito.com website and seen many people who have had the same problem. It appears that the heat shield is wearing on the drive shaft causing the to weaken and break in half. As that happens it deplos the side airbags and needless to say car looks terrible and will have to fight to get fixed out of warrenty. Looks like a class action if not taken care of. Thank God my family and I was not on the highway as this happened.

THE CHRYSLER DEALER HERE IN BVILLE ILL IS A RIP OFF . I HOPE THIS IS THE WAY THEY ARE TREATED WHEN THEY HAVE OTHER ISSUES BESIDES THEIR CARS
I have a2007 Sebring sedan. The evaporator core and dryer have to be replaced. From what I have been told this is a common problem in this car. Why isn't it a recall situation?
If I could give negative stars I would! $7.8 BILLION in bailouts! My money, you the person reading this, YOUR MONEY and yet we are left with hunks of junk that cause nothing but financial difficulty! RIDICULOUS! I will be 38 next month. I've never had a car payment in my entire life. (Always bought used, paid cash) I finally decided in '08 to buy a car. I STUPIDLY bought an '07 Crossfire, dealer demo with 6,000 miles on it. '09, I come out one morning and my car won't start. After much drama, I had it towed to the Chrysler Dealership where I was told that the computer chip in the ignition that recognized the key command was bad. Additionally, the second computer was bad, $800 to replace. (That was under manufacturers warranty) $1200.00 later, I got a new key. This year, with ONLY 50,049 miles, the car overheats in my office parking lot. Again, we take it to the dealer. We are told the following: 1. 2 sensors that are in the A/C are bad. Blower intermittently comes on/off when it wants to. $800 2. 2 oil leaks 3. Radiator has a hole in it, and needs to be completely replaced I drive 50 miles a day round trip to the office twice a week. I work from home the rest. The car has ALWAYS been maintained. The parts department tells me (after a WEEK in the shop) that the radiator is on back-order because of the high demand. "Too many people need this part and it's hard to get" Now, I ask you this. Should a car with 50k miles on it, in perfect condition, require a BRAND NEW radiator?? I THINK NOT! Estimated repair bill: $2200, PLUS the $1100 I spent last month in "routine maintenance" So Chrysler, as a tax payer and owner of one of your POS vehicles, I DEMAND that my portion of the loan repayment be sent to the dealer where my car is. You owe me that much! After all, I am one of the millions of Americans who saved your sorry butt!
WHO SAYS THEY SUCK MAYBE U CONFUSED THEM WITH THOSE CHINAMADE[FAKE] ROLLS ROYCE N****R AS FOR ME NICE CHRYS.., ON THE CHRYSLER 200 HEY PLIZ C.M.C TRY REWARDING THOSE WITH GOOD COMMENTS THEN UR RATINGS WILL GO UP. from NAKURU TOWN,NAKURU COUNTY,KENYA.email@ ronobrian47@yahoo.com
I purchased a Jeep Liberty in 2002. The car has only been serviced at a one of the local dealships. I took my jeep in for a routine oil change January 2012 at Alan Vines auto located in Jackson, Tn. The service guy told me i also needed differiental fluid so as always i did the recommendations. Picked up car go less than a mile down the rode and it quit on me! I called backed to dealership and the service department told me they would check with the service manager! Now as i sit waiting someone pulls up and ask if I have car trouble he did'nt identify himself, I asked who he was and he said He was with alan vines Ha ha! Of course he didn't know what was wrong with the car he called back to dealership and needless to say they hed to tow my car back to dealership. Oh they sent him out to me with OIL! After 3 days they still could'nt tell me what was wrong with my car so i had car towed to another jeep dealer in next town over. They found that a valve spring had broken! OK fixed that now June 11th 2012, go get gas and car won't start! I had it it towed to dealership again! They say it is MOTOR! Jeep looks like new and has only 83000 I am wondering if this goes back to whatever Alan Vines dealership did to my car in January???? Looks and smells fishy, or jeep chrysler does not build a very good car!! Not satisified!!!!! want answers!!!
I hate to rain on the parade of all you detractors of Chrysler products, but I have a true Chrysler success story. In 2005 I purchased a 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee (my third) with low miles (lease turn-in). As of February, 2012, I had put 276,000+ miles on the vehicle. Those are actual, verifiable miles. Unfortunately, in February the engine finally gave up, breaking a valve. The rest of the vehicle has held up very well, to the point that I have decided to replace the engine and keep this vehicle, rather than buy another one. I will in fact completely restore the vehicle, not that it really needs much work. You can say what you will about the import cars and how well they're built, how long they last, etc. I doubt many people can claim their car lasted this long AND took me through some of the worst driving conditions you could imagine. Whatever Jeep did when they built this vehicle, they really did it right. I'm looking forward to a new engine and another 200,000+ miles. I can't say enough about this vehicle.
I have a 1996 Dodge Ram 1500 (2 wheel drive) with the 3.9L V-6 engine. I have over 280,000 miles on it right now. The only problem I have ever had is I replaced the water and fuel pumps. I pulled the engine today to rebuild it due to "HIGH MILEAGE". When I tore the engine down - it was full of sludge! Upon removeing the Pistons, Crank and Cam Shafts - there seemed to be absolutely "NO WEAR"!! There is "NO RIDGE" at the top of the cylinders either. This truck has NEVER had a Head removed until today. I have always treated this vehicle like a "TRUCK", not a car. I have worked it very hard. To say that I was shocked at the condition of all of the parts, would be putting it mildly!! I have owned and worked on Fords, and Chevys that had a lot less miles, and were in a lot worse condition. TO THE MAKERS OF MY DODGE ---- Job well done. Chrysler might not always get it right the first time - But this vehicle is an example of what "RIGHT" is. If I could give a higher rating on this site it would be "Stars".
I have Just Purchased my 5th and FINAL Chrysler..... Chrysler refuses to service my car because it was not purchased at a particular dealer. DONT BUY FROM PORT JEFFERSON CHRYSLER.....I have an existing warranty on all my newer Chrysler vehicles. I went in for a service on a 2009 Pt Cruiser and was refused and told they donot have to honor my warranty or service my Chrysler because it was not purchased there... I have had Toyota's and Honda's in the past and when the US economy took a downward turn I only wanted too buy American. At this time I switched to Chrysler I should not have... I have never had a problem getting any of my Foriegn Cars repaired under there warranties. Suprisingly with the foriegn car companies when you buy there vehicles you are treated like a member of there family Not an outcast.BUY AMERICAN and this is what you get. This is why our counrty is in the state it is in.I called Chrysler corp. and was told Even though I have an existing Warranty and purchased a full Extended Chrysler warranty from Chrysler,Any Chrysler dealer can refuse to service there cars. WOW TERRIBLE Customer SERVICE...
I have owned Dodge trucks for a while, 1996, 1998, 2003, 2005, 2011, all 3/4 tons. I operate a plumbing Co. and pull a loader backhoe and have been very happy with all except the new 2011 with the 6.7 motor It seems to be a pooch. (REALLY) no get up and go like the 5.9 Whats up with this I have no idea. Had it for not quite a year and the check engine light has come on 3 times in the last 6 weeks. I do have to say that where I bought this I have faith in the company they have always took good care of me and that why I go back to Brickner's in Antigo
I bought new a 2006 Dodge Charger. I have had nothing but problems with this car. 6 recalls, 3 sets of tires, engine issues, transmission issues, upper intake valve tuner replacement ($1700.00 out of MY pocket) but yet to fix the problem Dodge had to create a kit (if you had to create a kit to fix it, then it should of been a recall issue). My sunroof has been replaced 3 times and in the shop over 6 times to be "fixed" It is still broken. The CD player has been replaced twice and I could go on. Here is why I am here today complaining. I have a moaning noise in my front end when going over speed bumps or potholes and I feel it in my pedal. I explained this to them and even stated perhaps it is my power steering. I have to pay out of pocket for a rental, drop the car off. The next day I get a call saying the car is fixed, test drove and ready to pick up. $797.00 is my bill. I did not get 4 miles down the road, went over some railroad tracks and it made the noise. I immediately called back Dodge and they said to bring it back in on Monday. So over the weekend I find that now that they "fixed" it I have a horrible moaning, clunking sound when I turn left. I drop the car off on Monday and get a call Tuesday that it is my rack & pinion and it will cost me $840.00!!! Are you kidding me? They will not cover it. THEY SHOULD COVER IT. They obviously mis-diagnosed the problem, their bad. I am extremely unhappy and will never purchase a Dodge again and I will be sure and tell everyone I know what crappy automobiles they make! Dodge Corporate Customer Service will be hearing from me....
Dear Chrysler Corporation My name is Robert Andrews and I live in Eagle Idaho. I am the owner of 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 that has 301,467 miles on the original 5.7 Hemi engine and the original Transmission. I never thought in my wildest dreams that my truck would last this long. the only work that I have done to my truck was rebuild the rear end and I just changed the radiator. All other parts are original and my truck still runs as good today as when I purchaed it seven years ago. I just wanted to let you know that you really build a quality Truck and I am proud to own a Dodge Truck. It's amazing that other companies claim that their Trucks are built to last, there is no doubt that Dodge Ram Trucks are Ram Tough and built to last. Please feel free to contact me to verify my story.
Chryslers suck! Do not ever buy a crossfire. They are POS. Don't try to get it fixed because it will cost you more than a new RELIABLE car somewhere else. But at least our taxpayer money bailed the sob's out so they can continue to produce crap. Thanks obama! Now that the government and a foreign car company have taken control, maybe they will learn how to build cars. I really don't care because I would never buy another one.
I own a 2004 Jeep Liberty.........Love the vehicle.........but it is a rust bucket. Why Chrysler??? Are you buying cheap China steel? You are blaming the recall on the conrol arm rust problem on the rear suspension living in the snowbelt. REALLY!!! I own a 2004 GMC Envoy also I bought the same month, same year aand no rust problem with it on body or control arms.........I live in the snowbelt. Both vehicles garaged at home and carported at work. Both have 40,000 miles....Really now Chrysler who are you trying to fool.........I think yourselves.....Chrysler YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELVES. I hope you go bankrupt again without a bailout.
I purchased a 2012 Dodge Journey December 28, 2011. On June 5, 2012 with approx. 4800 miles, my car broke down. The car had it's 3,000 mile maintenance done. It was making a clicking noise and there was smoke coming from the hood. It was towed to the dealership that night. I was told the starter needed to be replaced. After that was done, they told me that there was no oil pressure and the bottom half of the engine had to be rebuilt because it was starved of oil and I should have it back by June 12th. I called today (June 12th) to get an update on the status of my car and they told me it needs a whole new engine and it would be in June 14th or 15th. It will be there for 2 weeks before I can hope to have it back. I have to keep calling to find out information and I don't always get calls back. The dealership gave me a courtesy car in the meantime but I still had to go 2 days without a vehicle. They said it was a freak accident and compared it to a refrigerator breaking. They said if a pump goes on a refrigerator, the manufacturer would replace the pump and give your refrigerator back. Except a refrigerator doesn't cost $25,000. I was sold a LEMON and I can't trust my new car. I had used cars with tons of mileage that lasted longer. Way to go Dodge! I will not be buying from this company ever again!
I purchased a 2008 Chrylser Sebring touring used on February 19, 2011. It had only one owner and it had 20,000 miles on it. I received the car fax report with no problems listed. I had to have the brakes replaced shortly after I purchased my car $423. Any way this year June 2012 the passenger side window controller broke and the window could not be put back up until I got a new part and had it fixed, which cost $146. I had to drive around with a plastic bag covering the window to keep the rain out. Also in June 2012 my shift in the car would not work my car would not shift. I called Acra in Indiana and they looked up the part which was recalled before. I had to pay $45 for my car to be towed to the dealer. On July 10th I rolled down the driver side window and to my surprise the window regulator broke on that side too. I thought wow my car is 4 years old and it has all these problems. Chrysler I will never purchase another car made by you. The car is 4 years old and it has these problems. Is there a recall on the window regulators the metal part that keeps snapping when you use your windows. Please let me know because I am tired of spending money on repairs for a car that is only 4 years old.
