I find myself wondering about the Idea behind the Dodge Charger. What niche is it supposed to be serving. Don't get me wrong , it's a nice vehicle , even though it is actually a Chrysler 300 in every way but the body , they ride and handle Identically. But , is it a sport/muscle car or a family sedan ? It seems to have a very confusing Identity. If there was at least a 2 door version available , then , you might have the option to take yours either way. Like the names sake , which was always a 2 door. But , as it stands , it seems to be trying to fill both roles . Just curious as to why and if there will ever be plans to clear up it's role.
MY SON TOOK HIS JEEP LIBERTY IN AND WAS FOUND TO NEED A COMPLETE NEW ENGINE. WE WERE TOLD THAT LABOR AND ENGINE WOULD BE 5000.00. SO AFTER HAVING IT FOR 1 1/2 WKS. WE RECEIVED A CALL THAT SOMETHING HAD BROKEN ON THE NEW ENGINE AND THEY NEEDED PARTIAL PAYMENT ON THE ENGINE SO THEY COULD USE THE NEW ENGINES WARRENTY TO COVER THE BROKEN PART ON THE ENGINE. SO WE PAID THEM 3800.00 ON TUES. THEN ON FRIDAY WHEN MY SON WENT TO PICK UP THE JEEP, HE DISCOVERED THAT THE NEW ENGINE HAD NEVER BEEN PLACED IN THE JEEP AND THAT NOTHING HAD BEEN DONE TO THE JEEP AND ALL THIS AFTER 2WKS OF BEING TOLD THE THE CAR WOULD BE READY AND THAT EVERYTHING WAS GOING OK. I WAS ALL A LIE. THE ENGINE WAS AT THE DEALERSHIP'S GARAGE BUT IT WAS NEVER PLACED IN AND THE WHOLE THING WAS THEY WANTED PAYMENT FOR THE ENGINE BEFORE THEY WOULD START ANYTHING. WHY DID THEY NOT JUST SAY THIS. BUT INSTEAD THEY JUST KEPT LYING TO US AND TELLNG US THAT EVERYTHING WAS GOING AS PLANNED AND THAT THE JEEP WOULD BE READY THE NEXT DAY AND THE NEXT DAY. SOMEONE NEEDS TO PUT THIS PLACE IN MORGANTOWN WEST VIRGINIA OUT OF BUSSINESS
My husband and I just bought a brand new Dodge Ram Big Horn in June 2012! After having the truck for about 3 days we noticed some blimmishes in the paint job. All over the truck they started popping up. The dealer has taken 3 estimates for a new paint job and sent them all into Chrysler. Chrysler has never contacted us- we have had to make all the calls. Approximately 3 weeks ago they told us the would "spot paint" the truck. After many calls back and fort over having our brand new truck "spot painted"- we told them that we would go ahead with that- as they were not going to do anything else for us. We just called today to go ahead and proceed with having the repairs done and they tell us our case is CLOSED. We are doing any repairs now. WHAT- are you serious!!! We should have never bought a Chrysler/ Dodge and we will never again. Good luck with our attorney!!!!
was reviewing photos of the the replacement for the patriot and compass in 2014. the rear end looks like it was hit by a truck and the muffler shows way too much. have a 2008 patriot and love it except for interior and rear window noise when they are down. was interested in the new model but not so much now after seeing the photos. thanks
My dealership here in Pahrump, NV (Saitta Trudeau Dodge Chrysler) is usually pretty good about getting repairs done. Recently, though, when the computer module went out on my 1996 Cherokee, they told me a month ago that it would be late September before they would have the software fixed to program my new part. This is not the service I expect from Chrysler or my local dealer!
I have a 2009 Chrysler. I was going to go buy a 2012. They told me we no longer offered the multi CD item with the radio. Why not? That way you can record the cd's and leave them at home. Needless to say, I walked away. I did not buy a new car for his reason. Whose bright idea to take this option away. Somebody please reply to my e-mail.
Here's a thought for you Big Wigs at Chrysler: Stop fooling around with cars such as that stupid looking 'Dart'. It looks just like another variation of a Toyota. I am sure your sales are already proving that, right? Try this: Make a new Roadrunner! That's right, and make it look similar to the 68 or 69 RR. THEN you will have a hit! I will place my order for one, just as soon as you guys wise up & start production. And by the way; Roadrunners have TWO doors, not FOUR.
Recently I carry my Chrysler 300 in due the fact my radio would only pick up two station. I understood when I was told that it would take two days. But two days became two weeks. On the that I went to pick my car up I notice that they had no put it back the way it went in. The molding around the back glass was improperly put back. The light in my clock and air/heat control didn't come on. I was told that they may have blown because there was no need for them to work in that area. But they had to put that trim off if they were working on my radio. And to top it off the next morning when I went to let the sunroof back it didn't work. Again I will have to carry it back and have the inconvenience of not have the service of my vehicle. when you put that kind of money a car of that caliber you would expect it to be return in mint condition. blandr29@Yahoo.com
We bought our Dodge Challenger just over 3 months ago. When we purchased the car we noticed that someones name was scratched in the hood and the rear drivers tire had a big gash out of it. This was a brand new car with only a couple miles on it. When we confronted the dealership about the problem they said they would take care of it. We live a couple of hours away from the dealership so driving there cost us money. We scheduled an appointent to have them fix the hood of the car and the wheel. So we were givin a loaner car with no gas in it!! We had to spend all day our of town because the dealership is hours away from where we live. I had to spend money to feed my kids breakfast, lunch and dinner and put gas in the loaner car. Also gas in my Challenger!!! When I arrived at the dealer ship it looked like they had fixed it. But once I got home we noticed that the name was still on the hood and they tried to buff it out which them put a ton of new scratches in the hood. I feel like we are getting screwed over and are concidering getting an attorney!! We will never do busniess with the deliership again!!!!! We will buy local. We are hudge dodge, jeep fans but this experience has turned us off!!! I will never buy a car from the dealership in Cottage Grove again!!! They are screwing us!!!
How can you people sell a car with only 1 key? Being 80 years of age my eye sight is not what it use to be. Bought the car home and my son said Dad the frontThank bumper is out of line, the car was hit on the passenger side of the car,and the cover in the trunk is missing. also 2 front tires are worn. Thank you East hills chrysler for taking advantage of me
I WISH TO COMPLAIN ABOUT YOUR CURRENT COMMERCIAL FOR DODGE TRUCKS SEEMING TO BE TRYING TO APPEAL NOT JUST TO BIKERS, BUT TO DIRTY LOOKING LOW LIFE TYPE OF BIKERS. AS A LIFE LONG {AGE 83} CHRYSLER USER, I FIND THIS AD BELOW THE DIGNITY OF THE CHRYSLER CORP. I HAVE ALWAYS RESPECTED.
I am the sad owner of a 2012 chrysler 200s hard top convertible and it really really is terrible. From day 2 i ahve had tranny issues. when i putit in gear i actually have to wait for the car to move. The address above is NOT i repeat NOT a real address for chrysler. Either that or they refuse lemon law mail and say its not forwardable. I am not getting in touch with the attorney generals office in detroiyt to get these buggers once and for all. I have been a loyal Chrysler owner since my first 1971 Challenger. since then have owned nothing but chryslers. had 4 yes 4 sebring convertibles. NEVER AGAIN CHRYSLER. TOYOTA HERE I COME
I was rushed through purchasing a 2010 Dodge Caliber SXT from Crossroads Dodge in Corinth, MS. They were having a "guaranteed all credit accepted" day. I had a repossession on my credit and didn't think I'd qualify; basically, made the trip to see if my number sent in the mail had won anything. However, I had been thinking of trying to buy a car because my truck (which I owe ten more months on) was using too much gas. Well, Scott, "the Underdog", worked his tail off trying to get someone to loan to me on the "only" vehicle on the lot that could have payments reported to the credit bureau. (Guess this should have been a red light, flags waving, etc.) Since I wanted to improve my "bad credit", I was pretty excited about getting approved. No down payment and a wealth of information on USAA and how I could refinance with them after making a few payments (this would bring the interest down as well as my monthly payment). Scott told me that "someone" would finance me, because all they cared about was my income and that on my disabled veteran's income, I was sure to be financed by one of the companies there. The vehicle was black, which, is hot and I really didn't care for that, but, those salesmen really know how to point out the "best?" things on a deal, and after prodding me, I said I could deal with it. It was a sharp "looking" little car with only 38,000 plus miles on it, very clean, and he said since the Carfax didn't have an amount on the collision report, it meant that it was very minor. I don't recall going over the warranty, although, I was so excited; and with the car being a 2010, I really didn't think that it would have problems before I could get an extended warranty...much less before any warranty the dealership provided expired. (Wrong, again). Thirty days warranty, they pay half and you pay half. What kind of warranty is that? I don't recall signing it, but, there was my signature. In the first three days of driving it, I returned to complain about the brakes "screaming". They checked them, couldn't "see" a problem, so they couldn't fix, what they couldn't "see". Although, the "scream" was there. They didn't even want me to drive it to let them hear it. When I did get to drive, I was accused of braking too hard because of my knee problems. I mentioned that it screamed when my husband drove it as well. Then, it was stated that I could be shown a letter where the asbestos has been taken out of the materials that brakes are made of and that was what was causing the screaming. Then, it was the weather; the brakes were crystallizing due to the weather and being glazed over was causing them to scream. I went back four times in all, just for the brakes. The thirty day warranty was thrown in my face of course and how I should have been charged for them checking the brakes and they did me a favor looking at them without charging me. Before owning the car for sixty days passed, the blower motor for my air conditioning/heating went out. Now, I will have to replace that? Somebody please help me. I really have a problem dealing with stress and I don't know how to reach someone at Dodge who can make this right. I really enjoyed a Dodge Ram that I bought years ago and I want to enjoy this vehicle as well, but, due to my respiratory problems, I am not able to even drive this vehicle until something is done. I am putting out an extra $161.00 times eighteen months for an extended five year/100,000 mile warranty (I pray it covers everything); and I just don't think that this is right or just. Between the brakes, the blower motor, not knowing if the air bags are going to work (they didn't all work, during the first collision), the shakiness in the steering wheel once I hit 60, and Lord knows what may be next, I think this car should qualify for a lemon and I think that the people involved at Crossroads are lemons too. I will not recommend this dealership to anyone and will certainly tell my friends to listen carefully to the warranty, ask about the warranty, and not to be "pushed"/"rushed" into buying from any dealership. A thirty day warranty on a vehicle, where you pay half and they pay half; sounds like a dealership that isn't confident about the merchandise that they sell. What do you think? I would have thought at least ninety days. Excuse me for having a brain. I've certainly learned something about dealerships that I will never ever forget. I am now without a vehicle to drive and wish I had not gone to that dealership at all that day. I'm sorry Dodge, but, if you can't help me and feel that you are just in not doing so...then, I'm asking all veterans, not just disabled veterans...NOT TO BUY YOUR VEHICLES. Please consider making this right. Any comments or suggestions can be sent to peaches1075573@yahoo.com. Please refer to Dodge, so I can associate it as not being SPAM. Thank you and please support your local troops.
i bought a dodge ram 2011 3500 had it less than one year and was driving 40mph on a lightly graveled road when it locked up on me and i couldnt control the steering and the truck veered and flipped over and slid to a stop upside down. i was not hurt, but no airbags deployed, I was aware of the tie rod recall so called headquarters to find out what happened . they came and inspected my wreck and said it was not the problem. i at that time did not have full insurance and had to repair the truck myself. after doing so it ran fine until exhaust filter became full . i took it to dealer only for them to say if I dont replace my cracked radiator support they cant fix the truck under warranty. this is a highly expensive part. dont really know how it affects performance. however, leavin the dodge dealer i vow to not buy another dodge. they are in denial of there performance and safety issues. and will get out of anything they dont have to fix..for a few bucks they dont need.ive spent enough and it aint worth it.
FansI have own dodges most of my life.An now that Fiat has decided to pull out of nascar being that they oown most of the company I guess I will have to look at a different company to support now.An that will not be easy.I've bought a Chrysler product since 1969 which was my first new car.(plymouth Valiant). An still have 2 dodge pickups at home.Hope U change your minds being there are alot of NASCAR fans that feel the same. Thanks Robert Betson
I find your television commercial that says "Who said there is nothing new under the sun..." That is a Biblical reference and to say that you have created something "new under the sun" in the context in which you use it is offensive to me and derogatory of God and my faith.
Although I was warned by several different people to NOT deal with this dealership,I went ahead and purchased a 2012 Dodge Avenger 3 months ago from Dick Hoover Chrysler and Dodge in Richmond, Michigan. Big mistake on my part. The car is only 3 months old and has a leak in the oil pan. I took it to their service department and was told to keep driving it until they could fit me in to have it serviced. Almost a week later, they made my appointment to have it fixed. I made sure that I told the tech that I wanted them to change my oil also when they fixed the problem. I was even willing to pay for this service. My brother, who warned me about this dealership, made a mark on the oil filter with a sharpe marker before I took it in. When I picked up the car, I specifically asked if they changed my oil and was told "yes" by the service guy. I then lifted the hood of my car only to find the mark on the oil filter that my brother had put on it. When I showed the guy this mark, he told me that he changed the oil but not the filter. Really???? I have never heard of such a thing! If this happened to me how many other customers have they done this to? Does anyone have any phone numbers to the headquarters of Chrysler? This dealership needs to be turned in to them! WARNING... Do not buy or have anything serviced at Dick Hoover in Richmond, Michigan unless you want to be scammed! I think Chrysler needs to know what is really going on at their dealerships!
