I think your pricing is very unethical. One day a t-shirt is $19, the next time it is $14.50, then back up to $19. Also, everything you sell is made in China. Really don't care for your policies, at all.

I have shopped with chicos for years. Mostly I shop online because if you watch the sales you can get better deals and it is alot easier than getting out. But also, I find that the majority of the employees at both the Riverchase and Summit in Birmingham are very snobby and rude. I think they have me pegged as only a "sales buyer" and one that is usually returning when I come into the store so they avoid me like the plaque. I do on occasion find something full price when I am in there though and if I like it I pay the money for it. With NO HELP from any of the associates thank you very much. I have been chastised by both managers for returns and overall if I didn't want some of their things I would shop elsewhere. I diligently try to online shop to avoid them. My last return was sent back via mail and I paid the $8 just to not have to deal with their attitude. Chico's need to train their employees the meaning of customers=employment.

I have been shopping at Chicos for many years and used to love everything I bought . The clothes were cut in a way that gave a very updated look without compromising the fit. The quality was always tops - I still have Chicos clothes in my closet that I bought 10 years ago - that's how classic the styles were and how great the quality was! The reason I speak in the past tense is because the Chicos that exists today is not the same operation at all. I have completely stopped shopping there. The quality of the fabrics used and the design has gone way down hill. I don't know why there is always some "genius" in a company that loves to argue with success by trying to change things just for the sake of change. Chicos, you had a good thing going and you've ruined it!

I've been reading all the above message and am surprised at what I'm reading. I have shopped at Chicos for 7 yrs now. I am happy to see the evolution that this company has made. I stayed away because I was told that it was the "old lady" store for quite some time. Then after a while I met a very stylish girlfriend out for lunch and she was dressed so awesomely (if that's a word) that I had to ask where she had been shopping. She said Chicos and I almost fell out of the hair. I am in my late 40's and have a full time job, but because of the creative nature of my work I can dress business casually. I love color and am happy when I walk in the doors of the stores in the DC area. I especially love to go to Tyson's Corner Mall. That store is open and has a very large very orgnized selection. But my favorite part of going there is the store manager Dawn! I don't get there often as I live out of state but when I visit the area she always greets and hugs me like we are old friends. I love that! I feel so welcomed and special and she is fun and loud! You can tell she loves her job. That is such a rare sight any more. I brought a group of family members there the last I was in town. She got us all drinks, and made us feel like royalty. We were I town for a wedding and we ALL bought something. Even my teenage daughter. How AMAZING is that. I will continue to visit Dawn and her staff for the royal treatment they give us.

I agree with M.L.M. The new Chicos is awful. Don't kill a good thing.

Terrible online and customer service experience. I ordered shorts online on June 5th and never received them. Emailed customer service and the wrong email is posted on their site. Found the correct email and asked where my shorts were; I had a confirmation number. Received an email that said they didn't have those shorts anymore. Were they going to let me know this? Told to call customer service. Disconnected twice and finally got 'Mary' who was helpful and hooked me up with a Houston store who could mail them to me. Then I found out I would be paying $12 more than I was charged for buying them on line. That ticked me off. Houston store offered free shipping (whopee) and said it will get to me in 7-10 days! Geeze, stick it in first class mail and it will be here tomorrow! Summer's half over and I've spent far too much time trying to get a pair of shorts from Chicos. I think their in-store service has gone down, their clothes are shabby and all look the same. No more. There goes another retailer...

I love the clothes and accessories but am giving up on Chicos. The delivery of items is terrible! Long waits, then part orders and then when I get part of the order they tell me the rest of the order can't be completed. I order coordinated outfits so getting pants but not the top, or earrings without the necklace is no use to me. It is happening regularly recently. Same with Soma brand Get your act together guys!!

I was in Pananma City Beach this past weekend and walked into the Chico's store at Pier Park. I was not greeted although there were two people behind the register. I had to hunt someone down to inquire about sizez, and was told, " 0.5 is like 6-8, you can try it on if you want". No one got me a dressing room, I had to help myself. I spent about 45 minutes in the store and had gathered rought $300 of clothes in my arm. I grew so frustrated that I laid the garments on a chair and told my husband let's go. He asked why I wasn't purchasing anything, and I said I refuse to spend money where I am not wanted. Upon hearing me say this one of the sales ladies asked if I were looking for something inparticular, I stated, "yes good customer service." I am a Air Force Spouse, Human Resource executive, a mom, and lastly a black woman. I felt as if I were judged based purely on the fact of my skin color.

Seems like no one is home at the shipping department in Chico's. Their promise of same or next day shipping on all orders placed before 11 am has gone way, way by the wayside. It seems to be taking 7-10 days to get orders picked, and by that time half the items you have picked no longer exist. What a waste of my time... I have been buying from them for over 20 years, but this may be the last. And when you call, seems one department has to e-mail the other, and you never do get an answer, or the promised call back, unless it is to say, someone else will call you, who never does........... Absolutely ridiculous for a store that always prided themselves on customer service above all else. And this is on top of the bad fabrics and fit that seem to be plaguing half the items you do get shipped. What happened to the old Chicos?????

I and many friends used to buy all the original fit jeans at Chicos. While in the store we would buy many other items. The new jeans do not fit and sit so low that even though I am only 5.2 they sit 3 inches below my waist like jeans for kids do. I agree that the fabrics are getting cheap. Every time I ask the store if they will bring back the original fit jeans I am told everyone asks for them-yet they never return. I predict that the sales of this company will decline. I don't know anyone now who shops there because they can't wear the new jeans. Why a company would stop making a product that sold so well, makes no sense.

I am not currently a customer of Chicos simply because the sizes are more complimentary to women of a larger stature. But I do admire some of the simplicity, easy care for women on the go philosophy. The psychographics of their customer are right on target with much of mine, but the customer is usually a little older then myself. Typically women who are reentering the job force if the are any bit sophicated. The sizes are what are referred to as vanity sizes. I have been employeed by them twice. Once on the east coast where I took note to the consistency of their target market (regular customers) and one on the west coast where the company cartered to a more sporatic customer. The company has a tricky POS programming. The computer can prompt itself very easily, but if the management wants to complicate things for the worker the can program import just to have the employee struggle. The company bascially want me to quit so they programmed the computer accordingly each time I used my specially assigned employee number. As they intended I did quit hve constint frustration. I have moved clear cross country along with all of my belongings and pet, it wasn't an easy scacrafice, I lost all my good financial credit ratings along with the steady income in which I was in need of in order to survive. In other words, made a extremely big sacrifice in order to go to work for the company. I had more experience then my coworkers in the field not to mention specialized education which they did not have in order to even qualify for the job. The company left me without a job and unable to qualify for another apartment in order to reside. Not to mention forced me to return to the east coast and ask for parental assistance. And it was all based on the fact that they made sure their computer would not cooperaate with me. It was very humilatiing what I encountered not to mentioned caused me all sorts of damaged and attack of my character. Honestly, I think it had something to do with somebody medling trying to make a point about my womanhood,as if they wanted to annouce I was inadequate based on business that should not be available to the general public. I have done more traveling and am more experienced in many fascites than many of their company's peoples, and customers. I am just a littled disturbred with how they handle things with me as a employee. As for the versatily , and functionabilty of their clothing I think it's very good if you can wear it.

I am writing to express my appreciation to the sales rep Madeline Hauck at the Chico's store in the Coconut Point Mall. To give you some background, I was looking to purchase an outfit for an upcoming June wedding. I was really dreading the thought because I'm a casual / comfort style woman who does not wear all the fancy girly wear. So I was off to the mall, my first stop, JJill, then on to Banana Republic, then as I walked into Cache, the sales rep thought she had the perfect dress for me...NOT. It looked awful but she thought it looked great?? Since I'm a petite, I thought I'd probably find something at Talbots. On the way there, my friend & I glanced in Chico's window & thought we would try it; since we had lots of time to spare. Well, are first impression, was superb! We were greeted with a lovely woman, named Madeline, who genuinely went out of her way to make us feel right at home. After asking the correct spelling of my friend's name, (she went on to say, that she has a collection of unique names of people she has met in her lifetime). As you can see, she had depth & personality. We took an instant liking to her. Not only did she select the right outfits for me and my body type, her approach & honesty was OUTSTANDING! I felt compelled to write this so that Chico's Corporate Headquarters knows that they have a true winner working in Chico's at Coconut Point. Thank you very much Madeline for making our retail experience a pleasant one!

Chico’s customer service sucks! The cleaners lost my blouse. They would reimburse me for it if I could show proof of purchase. I thought “no problem” I bought it at Chico’s. Wrong! The store told me they only have purchases on file for a few months. I would have to call customer service and they would have it on file. Customer Service told me I had to contact the Administrative Office because they aren’t allowed to copy receipts. However, they were not allowed to give me the number to the administrative office so I had no way to contact them. After several wrong fax numbers, several calls, several wasted hours and several e-mails I was told it is against their policy to copy receipts. How, I asked, can I get reimburse? Answer…the cleaners would have to call them and they could verify! Is this the stupidest thing you ever heard? Even Target will give me proof of purchase if I purchased with my debit card. And I have been a good and faithful customer!

My first visit to Chicos was a mixed experience. The sales ladies were very stuck up. Didn't offer any help. I was dressed caual. I didn't purchased that day. I came back with a friend with the premise if. They treated me as they did on my first visit, I wouldn't purchased or return. My second experience was better. I purchased two items. Came back two weeks later the jacket was on the clearance rack. I paid $120.00 and now it's half price. Which was a hugh disappointment. That day I realized Chicos sales people are on commission. I had help getting into the dressing room, after that I had to hunt for help. Needless to say I left without purchasing anything. Then I thought the outlet store would be different. To my surprise or not, it wasn't. The clerk got my name and got me in the dressing room but I had to hunt her down. I purchased again. When I got home I found the discount on one of the items did get subtracted, so now I have to return to the outlet store. I was hoping for a better experience.

I am very, very disappointed in the type of store Chico's has become in the past couple years. I live in Dallas, Texas and have been a faithful Chico's customer for many years; in fact, 90% of my over-full closet is Chico's merchandise. I used to love my outings to Chico's, and couldn't wait to use my coupon for something fabulous! Now, every time I go into a Chico's boutique, it's a frustrating experience. The selection is huge, but most of the clothing is similar in color and style. The quality is noticeably lacking, to the point of "cheap" material and manufacturing. The new return policies are annoying and difficult to comply with, even if you try. Worst of all, the Chico's staff that used to be friendly, fun and helpful are now usually rude, unhelpful, and ignore you. Tonight... after spending 15 minutes at the counter while four sales reps ignored me because I had a return, and then being told bluntly I could not return the item or even exchange it because it was a gift and I had no receipt... was my last time in Chico's. Hey, I live in Dallas, and can buy great, quality clothes on sale at many stores! So, Chico's? Thousands and thousands (and thousands!) of dollars over the years. I really do hope you miss me.

Two Chico's Stores in the same small town.. one with such friendly customer service and the other so rude and mean it was like a scene out of the movie Pretty Woman !! I recently went to a Chico's Store in downtown Franklin, Tennessee.. I simply can't say enough positive things about the staff.. From the moment I entered the store they were friendly, helpful and although it was a busy afternoon they made me feel like I was their only priority.. the other ladies were saying the same back in the dressing area.. Then, a went across town to their other store in the Cool Springs area of Franklin, TN It was the worst experience of my life. I was ignored from the moment I entered the store. I asked a salesperson about a particular item on the display, she looked right at me and stated "we can't help you here". To say I was shocked would be an understatement. As an executive of a large corporation in this area it appalls me that anyone would be treated in this manner. I watched in disbelief as three additional sales people walked away from women either asking a question, requesting a fitting room, or asking them to call a different store for a certain item. The staff a this store needs serious training in customer service skills and Manners! All I can say is... this is the south? I refuse to ever enter this store again and I can assure you I will be passing that along to all I come in contact with. They just messed with the wrong person!!

What has happened to Chico's? A few years ago, I walked into your stores and wanted almost everything. The clothing was beautiful and colorful. For at least the last two years, nothing. The colors are drab and uneventful. The clothes now seem to be made for women who are at least 5'11' and have no hips. I'm not sure why you've changed and tried to be so trendy, rather than classic. Instead of putting herself in catalogs, Sher Canada needs to get on board with what "real" women want.

If I could give this no star, I would. After shopping for many years at Chico's- and spending a lot of money, I stopped going to their local store (except on rare occasions when in the area) several years ago. I generally take a half size up pant size (one that they will no longer stock in the stores)and find I generally need to try on pants to determine the correct size/cut. At one point, the online customer representative erroneously said that my local store still carried the size in question; but the manager (at the time) of the store was extremely rude, almost yelling at me that they no longer carried that size. However, my worse experience was when I requested a search be done for pants; I intended to order several pairs & had options of different styles and colors. The young woman in customer service who took the initial request was very nice, but searched for the wrong size, which I discovered when she left me a phone message at my home. When I reached a male manager on the phone, he could not have been more condescending or rude. He sneeringly informed me that Chico's was a "boutique" & implied that I was ridiculous for pointing out that I had recently had little success in finding my size even online-- further implying that they had precious little stock to keep it exclusive--which is ludicrous considering the amount of Chico's merchandise I see people wearing in my area! When I pointed out the mistake, he asked what I wanted him to do; I requested another search for the correct size; to which he responded that he was not going to do that! When he asked again what I wanted him to do, I was so taken aback by his initial refusal that I paused momentarily to gather my thoughts, and he hung up! Since then I have ordered extremely little from Chico's--I have found that the staff in my local store (with one exception) could not be more indifferent.

I love your store located in the Freehold Raceway Mall. The staff is so helpful!! I strongly urge the company to consider opening a location between Freehold and Atlantic City. There are a lot of woman to target in this area...Brick, Toms River, Forked River!

I purchased the Pointe Knit pants at Chico’s this fall and I felt the need to express how appalled I was with these pants. I followed the directions on how to care for these pants and they washed up horrible, I never placed them in the dryer and they still shortened up. I am not certain what has happened to the quality of your clothing, however, I am certain that I will be looking in a different direction for my purchasing. You have cut down on the quality however, not your prices.
