Was going through my pile of receipts in my sock drawer when I came across a rain check that I got back in Oct 2010, it's now Feb 2011. It was for a deer rifle. Never heard from BassPro... Now for the kicker, (drum roll please) This is the 2nd year in a row that I've went to purchase a new rifle from BassPro, in both cases got a rain check and in both cases never heard from them again. Gave them my email address, home address, work, cell and home phone. So, BassPro... I'm going to Gander Mountain in Lake Mary for now on. Not sure how other BassPro's operate, but the one in Orlando seems to lose rain checks.

I WILL NEVER AGAIN ORDER ANYTHING FROM BASS PRO SHOP I PLACED AN ORDER AND PAID FOR 3 DAY SHIPPING AFTER THREE DAYS OF NOT RECIEVING IT THEY TOLD ME MY ORDER WAS COMING FROM THE MANUFACTURER AND THAT IT WOULD TAKE 3-6 WEEKS WHEN I ASKED FOR A TRACKING NUMBER SO I CAN TRACK MY PACKAGE THAT I PAID $200 FOR THEY TOLD ME THEY DID NOT HAVE THAT TO GIVE. I THEN CALLED WHEN MY ORDER WAS 6 WEEKS AND STILL NOT RECIEVED AND THEY SAID I SHOULD BE RECIEVING IT ANY DAY AND THAT THEY DID NOT KNOW WHAT TO TELL ME....FINALLY AT ALMOST 8 WEEKS I CALLED AND ASKED WHERE MY ORDER WAS AND THEY SAID THAT THEY WERE NOT SURE MAYBE IT WAS LOST....I ASKED TO SPEAK TO THE SUPERVISOR WHO BASICALLY REFUSED TO TALK TO ME AND TRANSFERED ME SOMEWHERE ELSE. AFTER TALKING TO THE NEXT MAN HE THEN PROCEEDED TO TELL ME THAT MY ORDER WAS PLACED ON BACK ORDER AND I SHOULD HAVE RECIEVED AN EMAIL I PROCEEDED TO TELL HIM THAT I WAS ON MY EMAIL AND NOTHING CAME THROUGH AND WHY AM I WAITING 12 WEEKS FOR SOMETHING I PAID $200 ON AND THEY TOLD ME THAT THERE WAS NOTHING THAT I COULD DO BUT WAIT.....I HAVE NEVER IN MY LIFE HAD SO MUCH POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE...THIS PLACE IS A JOKE

I am writing to oppose the building of a Bass Pro Shop on wetlands in Green Bay, WI. This is obviously another example of big companies seeking to exploit the environment to make money. KInd of an oxymoron, I would say, since the people they sell to have a greater appreciation of the environment than they do. I will no longer shop at Bass Pro Shop and will seek to purchase my outdoor and fishing items from a more environmentally friendly company.

You ought to try working for this company.... They pay minimum wage, you have to fight for your appraisals, you put away all your own stock, use hand trucks, climb around in receiving to get things for guest of the store... and when you complain to corporate YA NOTHING IS DONE. And these are just the jobs of normal sales employees! They hire in people for Santas wonderland at more than employees for 2+ years are making. This store is a joke! When they tell you they are all about their people ya ok.....! Open your eyes bass pro you can work a a pizza place selling pizza for $1.50 more per hour and now have to run around like crazy, carry heavy large objects, deal with managers dating managers, getting paid so so little for what you do..... WAKE UP!

Lyle E. Savant this is to you...It is ignorance like yours that has caused these animals to get the reputation that it has. Pit bulls are not all bad, owners make them bad. Instead of racism towards a particular human group you are being racist towards a breed of animal. I had my pit bull for 10 years, not once was she EVER aggressive not once was she hostile toward a human or another animal. You seem to fit right into the same category as Michael Vick...IGNORANT and NARROW MINDED.

If I could actually give them a negative rating, as in below zero, I would. My husband and I had eaten at Bass Pro in Independence, MO at their Islamorada Fish Company. After enjoying meals there more than once, I decided to call Islamorada Fish Company at 816-795-4200 to ask their banquet manager about renting their room out for my husband's upcoming 50th birthday party. Although, the hostess was extremely nice, each of the 5 times I called to try to get information about the room, the banquet manager blew me off several times over a 2 week period. By the time Gina, the banquet manager at the Independence location, called me back, it was less than 1 week before my husband's birthday. She was rude. She told me they were booked for all of December. When I complained that I had been waiting for 2 plus weeks for her to call me, she confused me with someone else and said quote "You didn't call me back fast enough, so I have a contract on the room now." She (Gina)had never spoken with me before. Had Gina taken the time to call me back the first time or two I called, I wouldn't be livid. However, I am furious. We had a good sized party and money wasn't an object. This individual was the most unprofessional, bitchy, person I've ever spoken with in my life. Stay away from Islamorada Fish Company. They obviously do not want your money and don't care about keeping customers.

I ordered the cod&chips today @ your houston 288 location today.After what seemed like an hour the server tells me about problems in the kitchen.I should have been given the information about the longggggg food process time due to construction before I sat there so long. Like before I ordered! The fish was encased in a dark hard inedible oiley shell the chips likewise were so hard they cut my mouth. If your goal is bad service and bad food you guys are on target. forgot- the bread was lousey too. I would fix this resturant or can it. The rest of your place is great.

My truck was robbed today at the Nashville tenn location. I was parked in the front. CAN YOU BELIVE THAT THEYNHAVE NO SURVELLANCE CAMERS IN THE PARKING LOT. So you are aon your on. But I bet they have plenty in the store, also security in the store but none in the parking lot! I have spent my last $ at Ass Pro. They were no help at all and could careless about my things that was stolen. I was told that they are in a high crime area by the police. With that being so why wouldn't they have security cameras and a person watching the grounds? Because they want your $ and spend money protecting themselves with no consideration for their customers.

Parents and Corporate Management, My wife and two small children (9 & 3) visited Bass Pro in Denham Springs today, planning to spend $500 on a new GPS. However, much to our surprise a man was walking around the store with a PIT BULL. The store was filled with small children like mine. I asked several employees and customer service to speak with a manager and express my concerns, however I was told that no manager was in the store. I spoke with the gun dept. manager, who told me it is corporate policy to allow dogs in the store and there was nothing he could do. With all of the news reports of Pit Bull maulings and killings of small children, I refuse for my family to be the next statistic. Therefore, I will make my purchases and exclusively shop at Cabela's, in lieu of Bass Pro from now on. Furthermore, I will be cancelling my Bass Pro Credit Card immediately. Sincerely, Lyle E. My husband and I recently purchased 2 Tommy Bahama beach chairs at the Orlando Bass Pro store. We paid for them at customer service and we were assured that they would be shipped out and we would receive them in 4 to 5 days. After a week and a half went by I contacted the store because we had never received the chairs. After speaking to someone in customer service (who by the way was USELESS) I was transferred to receiving where I was finally told my chairs were resold and that they don't have anymore and there was nothing they could do about it! Also, I spoke to a manager who also said she was sorry but the holidays are upon us and things get hectic. At this point I am very disgusted with Bass Pro and I will not recommend anyone to shop there! P.S. My rating is really a 0 very poor

As long as ESPN is reporting rumor as fact about Cam Newton, and BASS Pro is advertising with them, I would suggest NO ONE buy anything from Bass proshops until Bass pro Shops stops advertising with ESPN, or they can get ESPN to back off with the unsubstantiated rumors reported as true news.

i when to Branson MO. to big Ceder loge on see about timeshare with Bluegreen and it was great and the sales man told all about it and we buy it and we now fineding he liad to to me and my wife and bluegeen said you sign the paper and that is it. I shop at Bass Pro in Garland TX. I have spent thousands of dollars at the store this year, and many thousand on boat sales in previous years. When I asked for assistance the last time, I was told there was a big sale and I should not come back until it was over, because they were busy. Someone should mention that customers who come alot and spend alot are just as important as customers they have never seen before. I wrote the manager but never received any reply. I really like the store, but haven't been back since. I don't know when the sales will be over, so I don't know when I will be welcome back. Maybe I can go back, I don't know.

I went to the Orlando Store to buy a buddy tree stand the last day of the sale and the clerk informed me that they were sold out. So I asked for a rain check and they told me they are not giving out any more rain checks for that item. The very next day I called the store to see if I could buy the demo stand and the sales person said the had 42 of the stand in the back, and I could have one of those. so that night I drove back out just for them to tell me all the stands in the back were rain checked out. So I ask them to check another store which they would not do. I ask the manager if no one pick up there stand if I could buy it. He said only if they don't want it anymore. The sales person told me they hold rain check items 16 days after that they can sale them. The Manager told me there wasn't any time limit at all. Seems to me there is alot of mixed up people working there. Nobody seems to know anything and will tell you anything.

I have gone into the Rancho Cucamonga store several time to make a purchase on a advertised item just to be told that they were sold out. I arrived at the store shortly before noon and the sale item was for one day only. But again if you are adverstising something and run out before noon you have a very serious problem. This is not the first time this has happened. Feels a bit like bait and switch. Also went in to look at an advertised gun safe and was told that they did not even carry that item and would need to have it sent to the store. Would make a lot of sense to at least have a display model if you want to sell the item. Drove a long way for nothing. If you know that you are running an ad and you only have on store in So Cal they stock up.

we purchased a new 18' mako from the bass pro in Hanover, MD on 6/5/2010. After being towed 3 times and returning the boat 4 times, they finally agreed that there was a design flaw in the gas fill and retrofitted a new gas fill. We are still having issues with the shift. 1st trip to return was because the shift cable was installed backwards and the boat went forward while in reverse. The shift is still not correct so they sent a tech to our home....without tools or a working computer. The staff at the bass pro shop are getting rude and beligerant. I would not suggest purchasing anything that moves from the bass pro shop. Their customer service is terrible. It is now late August and we still do not have a properly working boat.

I'm very upset with the way your management & manager (Las Vegas, Nv, Bass Pro, Outdoor Traveler) failed to advise me of the tour when I ask him several times & ask if this was a timeshare company. After he failed to answer my questions I became frustrated & left the kiosk. Later on a taller gentlemen approach me & I ask him the same questions again. He gave me a great presentation & I signed up for the $99 Premium package. I will be contacting Bass Pro & Outdoor Traveler about this manager & his shaddy ethics to make a sale.

I looked at a boat on June 19th. a new Tracker Panfish 16' My wife and I agreed to puchase it, then was told it had been sold.but could get one in a few days. We did not hear anything for a week, they had our phone number so we went to check on it was told there was a problem with the steering some rod was bent. but Fex ex was going to deliver the piece needed to fix it.This was a brand new boat the manager Mr.Bob Wrenn set up a day and time for us to pick up the boat. We went to pick -up it up I had placed a call to Mr. Wrenn myself . When we got there the boat was not finished so Mr Wrenn said for all our trouble he would have it delivered on Monday the 28th. The boat was not delivered nor did we get a phone call. We went in there on Tuesday .he acted like he had never seen us or new us. I got mad and told him he had nothing but lied to us. He said he just dropped the ball it was his fault so i told him to keep the boat All he had to do was pick up the phone and keep us informed. Because of this I will not purchase anything else.
