I would give o stars i just got the worst service ever in my life from your store manager at 43rd ave and bell in AZ i will never go to autozone again and i will tell everyone i know dont go there.

My wife ,kids and I drove to the autozone on main street in the city of Poughkeepsie,NY. in need of service and parts. there were 3 customers ahead of us so we humbly waited our turn outside at our car with the hood up as instructed by the clerk. I noticed everyone was helped and sent on their way. so after an hour my wife walks back in and requests assistance and was told only one employee is allowed out at a time. we noticed one employe went to McDonald's next parking lot and one was outside smoking at the door and another in the corner of the lot smoking as well. a short while later my wife walked in again and requested assistance and was told that a man was taking items and they needed to remain inside to catch him. now clearly this is no way to run a company and needless to say after my 15 years of being a loyal customer putting up with similar outcome every time I come to your store I will discontinue business with autozone. The 7-closing shift September 21,2012 is the worst by far. please look into your staffing or review your video footage with the time and date that i listed and you will see major violations being committed by your employees against your customers.

I would like to recognoize Don Miley and a young man named Allen, employees at Auto Zone, 2575 Central Avenue, Columbus, Indiana. My car broke down and we were stranded. They were knowledgable and gave me excellent advice and very courteous customer service. I have used Auto Zone in the past, and will continue to do so. Thanks Guys, Melanie

On the evening of 9-18-2012 my wife stop by the Autozone store in Crowley, TX. It was 25 minutes before they were to close. She is handicapped and asked for someone to check her battery (battery was purchased at your store and under warranty) as it was turning her engine over slowly. They told her they couldn't help and they were counting down their cash rregisters but she was welcome to drive to the next town, where they stay open another hour. That kind of service will be inspiring me to take my business elsewhere. It was night, here battery was run-down and she could have wound up stranded in their parking lot. I don't guess anyone would have time to have helped her with that either. It's bad enough that the majority of the people working in there are not the sharpest knives in the drawer, but they would tell a handicapped woman they don't have time to help her because they were counting down their registers "early". Really?

Greetings Autozone Higher Echelon, Regarding the Autozone store here in Tucson Arizona, right off Cortaro Farms Road, very near Silverbell. As of late, which means the last couple of days now, I have noticed that there has been NO manager types at this particular Autozone store, which by the way, has left the day to day happenings of this Vacant position, to the Non-Manager types. The personnel who were there at this particular store this evening, are stretched to the maximum, with regard to taking care of, the In Store Customers, along with those customers who desire help with battery installs, engine check lights, charging system checks, answering the telephone, and so on. To date, I have yet to EVER leave my troops to deal with the day to day mission requirements, and, the timely and effective execution of said mission(s), of MY Command, without mind you, a Senior Marine Captain, or, Field Grade Officer, a Major on deck, along with, Senior Staff Noncommissioned Officer, of at least, the rank of Gunnery Sergeant or above, who is on deck within MY Command at ALL times, when I have been called away from my command, and or, I am involved with placing the Bad Guy Enemies in their places! Effective Leadership, spans the daily clock, throughout the year mind you, 24/7, 365 days annually, and, Genuine Leaders, always Lead from the Front, NOT the flanks, nor the rear! This American Patriot Consumer, does in fact, frequent this particular Autozone store on a regular basis, and, I find that the Leadership for this particular store, to be Zealously Lacking! However, the employees I had observed this evening, are forging ahead, to the Best of their abilities, without having an actual store Manager, and or, an Assistant Manager, to aid these hard working employees, with their efforts to keep the store's doors open, and, tend to the needs/desires of this stores consumer base. What I find Zealously Appalling though, is that the so called Leadership for this particular Autozone store/region, has placed the Manager Responsibilities, squarely upon the shoudlers of the aforementioned, hard working employees, without mind you, ever actually considering the actual, and or, total impact upon said employees, and or, this stores regular consumer base! In closing, this frequent Autozone consumer, Retired Leader, of America's Corps Of Marines, who does frequent this particular Autozone store on a regular basis, does Zealously Suggest to the Higher Echelon, within Autozone Inc., that this deplorable situation, regarding the Manager position of this particular store, be corrected Forthwith, by RE-Assigning (Gary), from where you folks at Autozone have assigned him to his present task, at what ever store you have him at presently, BACK to this particular Autozone store, Without delay mind you, before you folks at the Higher Echelon of the Autozone Inc., have a Mass Exit of the present consumer base of this store, due to the fact, that this stores frequent customers, and or, the consumer base as a whole, becomes so bloody frustrated, with the Lack of Effective Management, to aid these extremely fine employees, in their daily endeavors, that you shall eventually, and rather soon mind you, be force to close the doors of this particular store Forever, due to the Lack of a customers! Thank you in advance for your prompt attention to this matter. Have a good day/evening. Sincerely, W.S. Lester GOD, COUNTRY, CORPS "SEMPER FIDELIS"

This was my first experience with autozone even though i did hear many negative feedback on their customer service. After getting my car serviced at Toyota, the maintenace technician gave me a list of things recommended for my car, including tail light, fuel injection, induction, air refresher, cabin filter replacement, and needed rear brake shoes. After seeing the bill of 500 dollars, someone refereed me to autozone to get the parts and having a mechanic do it, i went to autozone and told them all of this and they assisted me in finding all of these products and ordering me the brake shoes for my rear brakes. Autozone told me that my ail light was not broken, so i went back to toyota so they can tell me how is my tail light broken if everuyone else is telling em that it isnt broken. TOyota reralized that they gave me the wrong sheet of maintenace. Nothing was wrong with my car. In matter of fact my car is a new 2010 toyota corrola with less than 35000 miles on it. So gladly, i went to autozone to return all that i didnt need, i kept my receipt of course. I initially paid with my debit card, and the new employee swiped my card, didnt know what he was doing but informed me that i will get the funds backt o my account 7 to 10 business days. Its been a month, and nothing eevr showed up in my car. Ive contacted my bank and tat autozone, and its been a back and forth situations ever since. After talking to district they informed me to go back to the store, and that the store manager will see what happen or give me back my cash because it was supposed to be given back to me in cash since i paid on a debit. I went to the store just for the store manager to tel me i was supposes to be given cash, well i wasnt, and where is my cash. She told me let her check loss prevention securiyt to tell me if they vbe given me cash , its been another two weeks, and i am still wait

As an auto parts dept one would expect to find customer service reps to well I don't know help or service the customer!!! And yet we went into your Wappingers location and Justin couldn't be bothered!! He typed in the computer and when he didn't find it he said he didn't feel like looking through all the boxes. So sorry. Are you kidding me!!! Wow nice way to treat customers.... Especially those who will be spending a lot of money restoring a '64 Ford, not to mention the fact that those customers happen to be in the auto profession. So Auto Zone Congrats we will be letting all of our friends and car club members know how you treat your customers!

I live in colorado springs, colorado and the autozone I go to, 705 West Baptist Road Colorado Springs‎ CO‎, provides more than excellent service! The employees are very knowledgable and are always willing to help me with any problems that I ever have.... I will continue my service here, not only for the prices, but the excellent service I recieve when I shop here, thank you autozone for making my life much easier

Tell me how we live in the United States and go in to Autozone in Orlando, Fl. and my son see's a sign stating they are hiring and a Spanish women has the galls to say she cant hire him because she all ready has a minority white person working there. I have never been so appalled in my life.

I live in covington tennessee and the autozone that we have has a older guy that as worked there for a long time and he is very hateful,He talked to my dad today in a very rude manner and does me to when i used to go there.I no longer use autozone because of him.I doubt anything will be done but I just wanted it to be known. My dad is layed off from work and has worked his ass off his whole life.He is currently on unemployment and has to go around to places and have them sign a paper saying that he came there looking for a job so he can continue to get his unemployment.Well he went to our autozone and asked that guy to sign the paper for him and the man told him that he would not sign that paper and that he was just lazy and didnt wanna work.My father has worked very hard my entire life,I am 30 years old and my dad supported a family of 5 working nightshift for 30 years+ in a factory till they closed the doors. He had another job but was recently layed off.I will be paying autozone a visit tomorrow.

Hello, I have taken time out of my day to write this positive review about an employee who works at the Auto zone located at 14640 W. 7 Mile Rd Detroit, MI 48235. The employee's name is Russel Larrock, Mr. Larrock was so very helpful, knowledgeable, courteous and efficient in assisting me with my car needs. I am not normally an inner city shopper due to terrible customer service, but after my pleasant experience with Mr. Larrock my views and opinion on the store have changed for the better. He is a model employee I am going to continue to be a faithful customer there because of him.

I purchased wheel cylinders for my 1955 Chevy from your Rock Hill, SC (Cherry Road) store. I installed them and when I started to bleed the brakes I could not get a wrench on the bleeder screw. I purchased several wrenched to try them, thinking I neede a specialty wrench. I purchased several wrenches; offset bleeder wrench (3/8x1/4 offset), a wobble-head 3/8x7/16, a 10x12mm wobblehead, a 9mm combination wrench. None of these would fit any of the 4 wheel cylinder bleeder screws. I went back to autozone to see if there had been any complaints about this and was told there had not. The "customer service" rep behind the counter even said he had just put new wheel cylinders on his truck and had no trouble. I asked about buying more bleeder screws so I could replace the ones in the wheel cylinders as I know if I use a pair of pliers to get the ones out they will be ruined. The "CSR" told me they did not have any. I then asked what I can do to correct the problem. He said "I don't know what you can do." I then went to another auto parts store and explained the problem and showed the a bleeder screw from one of the old wheel cylinders and the CSR walked of the the display and got me what I neede. He even opened the package and tested them to insure the threads were correct as well as that the 3/8 wrench fit properly. Needless to say I will not be going back to Autozone to get my parts. I have spent several hundred dollars at Autozone and am planning to spend several more hundred dollars on parts for my 3 vintage cars. But this money will not be going to Autozone.

i thought auto zone would fun to at i was wrong yeah im still working there as soon as a better job comes a long im gone ps im am going to call the corporate office see if i can piss someone off wish me luck

been a patron for over 20 years from TX to IL...purchased a ob scanner to scan a 93 taurus and turns out the cars to old and requires another scanner. tried to take it back was told by the manager that i cannot return it..wow really i went to another store and returned it. my point is this they hire people who dont have common sense in auto parts and in business. rude people they dont attend you in a timely manner then when they finally check you out the have the balls to ask if you would like to buy whatever shit they cant sell at the time!!towels, injector cleaner or armor all... Really!!!!! its a joke.....when you ask for the corp # they give you a disc # ....wow...this is why they loose customers and murrays is starting to get my $$$$ PS. im not the average joe that comes in every 30 days i go in week in week out..(mechanic) so when they mess up with me theyre messing with the bottom dollar..word of mouth goes a long way..

As an employer Autozone sucks. Benefits are not bad but what one has to deal with is not worth the extras. After working my way to to store manager, I was so thrilled to go through training to hire new employees. I though with this benefit I could hire knowledgable and dependable people to make my store a success. After interviewing quite a few people, I made the decisions to hire who I thought were the best. They were very knowledable people, several were automotive technicians needing part time work, one was in tech school needing money, and all came with excellent recommendations. I called my district manager and HR person to let them know who I found because they had to be the salary negotiators. To my surprise, I was told that I could not hire any of them because two were white and although one was black he could not speak spanish. I stated that I know diversity is extremely important but this is small store with few hispanic customers and for those I could understand a few automotive terms and had purchases an automotive part spanish translator book from ASE. I was again told no and find women and hispanic employees only. I stated that I did interview both already but they were not as qualified as the others. To cut it short, my HR person came down overrode my decision and hired the most worthless, unknowledgable people in the bunch. So not only did I, as a manager, suffer because I had to do their work when they didnt show up for their shifts, my customers suffered and ended up at the local competition. Of course, I followed the customers out the door as well. That is how Autozone feels about their customers. They believe you will always come back!

I purchased a battery from Autozone last year. As I was out running errands my battery went dead. I got a jump and went to the nearest parts store, which was advanced auto parts store. They checked my battery and test result stated replace battery. Then I went to autozone, since I purchased the battery from them. They performed same test as well, results stated replace battery. They were not able to retrieve anything from my account. I think they archived their system, because they had no record of me ever purchasing a battery from them. But get this the manager ask me are you sure you bought it from autozone, duh-you should have noticed this is your brand that only your company sells. It seems like they should be able to look at s/n to determine when and where battery was sold. I think they're just trying to take advantage of people, when they can't find their receipt. That's why you have computers to be able to look back to see when a customer purchased items. I will never go to another autozone store, because they are only concern about themselves not customer satisfaction. That's what keep customers coming back again and again!

I just left AutoZone at 89 Old River St in Hackensack, NJ. I went there to get a new battery and I am utterly appalled by an employee by the name of Donny Bloomberg who is suppose to be assistant manager that has absolutely no knowledge of cars. I have been to other AutoZone's and from my experience the employees are usually very knowledgeable about cars as whole but Donny Bloomberg is NOT one of those knowledgeable employees. I told him what type of car I had and he still didn't know what type of battery I needed. Eventually, he figured it out after I kept pressing him. After getting feed up with his lack of knowledge, I decided to leave but when I went outside my car wouldn't start. Being that I know AutoZone usually will charge your battery for free, I went back into the store thinking that someone will be able to give me a jump but he said he couldn't do it and I will have to wait until the "Spanish guy" comes back from a delivery and that usually takes about 2 hours since he is only one who does things like that. I have already called corporate and left a message about my experience. Now I am writing this review because I feel that this store is a disgrace to the other AutoZone stores. I still like AutoZone but this store needs to hire better worker like the other stores I have been to. Hopefully, this review will force Donny Bloomberg to read up on cars as well as improving his customer service abilities.

I THINK THE ECO SHOULD START PUTING SOME INTREST IN THIRE EMPLOYEES, AND START VISITING HIS STORE,ESPECIALLY. THE BRONXS ON STORY AVE. THE ARE UNPROFESSIONAL, AND LAID BACK
