We bought furniture in Hickory, NC from Ashley Homestore. They had it to the warehouse in 3 weeks. We gave them 5 weeks to deliver in case any was delayed. The DAY OF DELIVERY- we get a call- the Wall Unit is damaged. So they have to get a new one. Promised to have it in a week, then nothing. Now we won't get it for another 4 -5 weeks. PATHETIC. Unless you can get your furniture THAT day, Good Luck and you are taking your chances. VERY POOR RESULTS. Not recommended.

I would have given ZERO Stars but that was not an option. My bedroom furniture took 9 wks to arrive only to find that one piece ia broken!! The delivery people would not take it the service people say they have to order parts and the manager is an idiot!! Ashley furniture did not get bad money infact they got cash how come I received bad furniture? Customer service is completely lacking and so now my husband and I are trying to figure out how to repair a 5000.00 dollar brand new bedroom suite. I do not think brand new furniture should be REPAIRED I think you should get a new non broken piece! We will not ever by from Ashley furniture again!

What a Nitemare, We bought furniture for our living room, Spent over 5,000.00 dollars with Ashley Furniture. After about three months, we finely started getting some of the furniture.. Got the leather love seat, leather sofa, and part of the intertainment center..finley after we got the tv stand that went with the intertainment center, The delivery people couldn't get it inbetween the two towers. So they orrdered another one, It was even worse, It stouck out 3 inches farther than it should have...So finely they ordered another complete set and put it and delivered it... It went together better than all the others, so we keep it.. In the mean time we were complanning about the love seat..The expensive love seat, the cushion was pushed up into the center. They sent one service guy out to fix the problem, and after He tore the love seat apart and tried to fix it. It looked ok , but after a few weeks It all happen again... So they sent out another serviceman to fix it agoin...He did a better job and It held up for a little longer, Now the expensive leather love seat looks like it is 3 or 4 years old... I have ask them to replace it and they keep giving me a go around... I talked to a person called Jeremy, spervisior of disbution and haven heard from Him since....I feel the quality of furniture in the store is not what you get..also you are lyed to on shipping dates etc. I will never buy anything at Ashley Furniture again... I guess I am stuck with this Love Seat...The worse Furniture I have ever seen or delt with....

I purchased furniture in May 2010.......the furniture was defective and the repair person was not able to fix it........the furniture was picked up...........I was told per the Customer Service Mgr that I would be refunded per original method of purchase............It is November 4,2010 and I STILL have not received my refund for a total of $1442.00.......DO NOT PURCHASE ANY FURNITURE FROM ANY ASHLEY STORE..........YOU WILL RECEIVE POOR QUALITY AND NO SERVICE AND NO REFUND..........

11-3-2010 I purchased a dining room set and sent it back because it was damaged. They brought the same table back and it was still damaged. I was told that they would just take it back and repair it again and send it back to me. I work very hard for my money and when you pay over $1000.00 for a dinning set you would think you would get what you paid for. I know that may not be a lot for some people but for me it is a lot. I don't make a lot of money and would think that Ashley Furniture would be happy with what business they get with the economy the way it is. The delivery driver was very rude and very unprofessional. I will never go back to Ashley Furniture again and I am telling everyone I know never go to them. We work to hard for our money to be treated this way. At this rate I don’t see how you are still in business!! I am getting in touch with the BBB. I should have check with them before stepping foot the Greenwood store in Indiana. Or deal with the KY store.

Shopping with ashleys has been an absolute nightmare. I ordered a livingroom set with a new rug. The furniture came in (I had to check because no one ever called) and I was given a used rug after I told the warehouse guy it was a new one when he asked me about it. Returned the rug the next day to have a new one ordered. No response for several weeks. We called several different people and no one could tell us what was going on. Warehouse manager was no help. I called to talk to the manager Greg who assured me he would call me back the following week. I called him 4 times and never a call back. Finally a manager named Alex is trying to fix the situation, but I have to wait another 3-5 days for paperwork!!! Really!? I will never shop there again and I will be cutting up my Ashleys credit card!

NEVER AGAIN will I buy from Ashley Furniture. I had heard horrible reviews from friends, family, and reading posts and I did not listen, do not make the same mistake I made... I ordered my couch, and asked 3 times when my couch would be delivered and it was 2 weeks after ordering and it was suppose to be at my house by 10/30/2010, and I was suppose to get a call on 10/28/2010 to set up delivery for 10/29/2010, at the latest they were suppose to call on 10/29, so by 10/30/2010 I call the store and I am informed my couch would not be here until Tuesday, 11/2/2010, they called me and set up my appointment for Tuesday and I informed them I needed the latest appointment and they said it would be delivered between 3 and 4, much to my suprise I get a call at 12:00 noon, to inform me they are on their way to my house to deliver. I explain I am at work and cannot be there unitl 245 at the earliest and they inform me, if I cannot make it I will be charged a fee for canceling. Well where is my fee for changing my date of delivery so I think we are even, well that does not work. I have to leave work early to get home to get the couch, and then the delivery drivers expected a tip. Well I understand they have nothing to do with this, but they already charged me 109.00 for delivery and it was not ever there when it was suppose to be... Very Unhappy Customer!!!

Wow! What a totally BAD experience. First, I went to the store by Grapevine Mills Mall and had cash. The Bedroom set my son had picked out 2 weeks prior was now on sale for 1/2 off. The salesperson would not give me the 1/2 off sales price and insisted on my purchasing the warranty. I left and went to the Hurst store with my husband. The salesman was very nice and was honoring the 1/2 off price UNTIL we refused to purchase the warranty. He said that he would not sell to us without it. By this time I was mad. We asked for a manager, he would not talk to us but did send his assistant. The assistant sold us the furniture we wanted and we wrote a check. We were told it would be delivered in 2-6 weeks. The mattress and headboard were delivered 2 weeks later but we still have not received the nightstand and dresser, Now we are told it will take another 3 months for a grand total of 5 months. The manager of the store will not call us back. They do not care, they already have out money. This lack of customer service will hurt them in the long run because people like me will tell everyone they know not to do business with Ashley's! The only reason i gave them a 1 star was that zero was not an option.

Oh well, I guess I am joining the Ashley Furniture complaint site. I, too, am a very upset customer and have called so many phone numbers and spoken to so many people all of who sound like robots! The color of the sofa I bought is not the same color I saw in the store. Also, the cushions are not sewn all around with the same fabric. They say it is the way it is made. I say it is cheesy. They will charge 150.00 to pick it up and I must then choose something else from their store. That adds more money to the total bill and adds insult to injury. I will NOT recommend this store to ANYONE! That is not "customer service" in my opinion.

Being in sales myself I hate to write complaint letters, I would much rather spend my time complimenting an individual that has went above and beyond. To say the lease your Ashley furniture store in Amarillo is very unprofessional, unorganized, and is staffed with incompatent people. I will say the salesman Daniel was great to deal with and very good at his job. Your finance manager Angel on the other hand needs to be trained in his job. My furniture was scheduled to be delivered October 22nd, I called on the 25th because it was never delivered. Audrey told me my furniture was scheduled to be delivered Oct 28th and they would call me at least 30 minutes before the delivery. Today the 28th at 4PM i called to check on the delivery time, and I was on hold for 12 minutes. I called back and was put on hold another 7 minutes. At 5 pm Daniel called me to tell me they still needed paperwork from me and that is why my furniture was not delivered. So I signed a contract, was given two delivery dates, have been in and called the store more than five times in the last two weeks and no one could tell me they needed some information from me? Why would anyone in the world sign a contract and take money from some one before the applicant had given them the information they needed? They had no problem telling me I had to put my $700.00 down that day or I could not get the deal, but had a probel telling me they needed additional information???? I am very confused about this. Is this how all of Ashley does business? This is backwards, they should have had everything before i signed the contract, gave them money, and scheduled two delivery dates. I work for Marriott and I know how important customer service is, if things do not change at your Amarillo store soon your store here will find itself with low sales numbers I am sure.

Yes!!! Customer service is really really poor! I had lots of problems with them! Do NOT BUY FROM THEM!

We have spend over 4,000 on furniture at Ashley's Furniture at the Elkton MD location. At the time of delivery the night stand was damaged ( not even brought in from the truck) and the bedroom dresser was missing. 2 days later miraculously found and delivered on a sunday evening. After they left we noticed it was the same broken floor model that was glued together and revarnished. We were told we would be getting a new dresser and night stand since the floor model was broken. The rest of the bedroom set was a floor model and was in good condition. At the store Joe said that there was 14 dressers left and it wouldn't be a problem he will order a new one. After a couple days with no answer my husband got aggravated and went to the store to be escorted out by a police officer because they said he was threatening them. All he wanted was to find out what was going on.... they told him that was the last dresser and that they didn't know what to tell him. When I called, I was told we couldn't contact or go to the store anymore. Wrote an email to the GM and nothing. Now we have no night stand and a broken dresser and a lovely bill to pay. I have never came across such unprofessional people in my life. The dresser is cracked in half and a matter of time when the glue gives. The stores messes up and then takes no responsibility for their actions and tries to make the costumes look bad. Never in my life will I buy anything else from Ashley's. If this is not taken care of I will be contacting the better business bureau and take further action.

THE WORST FU**ING SERVICE I HAVE EVER RECEIVED....AND CUSTOMER SERVICE IS EVEN WORSE.....DELIVERY PROMISES ARE FALSE....EVERYONE PASSES THE BUCK ON WHY ASHLEY FURNITURE CAN'T GET YOU YOUR ORDER..... IM SO ANGRY WITH THEM RIGHT NOW...NEVER AGAIN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We bought a mattress from our local store in Humble, Texas. We were promised same day delivery by 9 that night. The mattress never came. The next day was Sunday and we went back to the store after trying the customer care number several times. The employees at the store claimed a computer problem as the reason that it wasn't delivered. They don't deliver on Sunday or Monday, so we were told to expect it on Tuesday and a call on Monday to set up delivery. No call came on Monday. When we called them, they said the time that was given to us was from 1-4 on Tue. I am writing this after this window and have not even recieved the 30 minute prior delvery call that I was told would come prior to delivery. Horrible service- say one thing, do another.

I had been working for Ashley furniture in the warehouse for about a month now only to be fired for no reason by the upper management. It seem odd to me since my supervisor and all of my now former co-workers know that I am a hard worker both in the warehouse and on the road. I don't want to think that I was fired purely on the pretence that I'm African American; however, this seems to be the logical reason which i find highly predjudice.

We purchased a bedroom set from the hendersonville, NC store. We received it within the time specified, but the large chest had substandard workmanship. I don't know how it even made it out of the factory. And why it was ever delivered to a customer in that condition. Took forever to get customer service. Took 3 weeks before anyone would come out and get a look at it. And when the inspector arrived, he brouhgt a "handyman" with him with hammer and nails and was ready to tear it apart right there and repair it. My husband said "replace it, not repair it". Now we are waiting for someone to make a decision on whether they will replace the item. Don't have to tell you the furniture cost a bit of money. I am very disappointed in their customer service and will NEVER buy anything from them again.

I too will be filing complaints with the BBB and federal trade commission.. I will also be notifying the local News to see if they can help. We bought a bedroom suit for our daughter the 1st week of July, the chest was on back order so we waited to have it all delivered at the end of July so all the pieces could be delivered together. When it was delivered the chest was NOT with it! After they left we noticed one of the slats was cracked, one of the drawer handles was missing a screw and had scratched the drawer and then we started noticing that there were blotches all over the finish where my daughter had placed things. We called them and they said they would send someone out to look at it and we asked about the chest and they said it was at the store and didnt know why it wasnt on the truck and told us we would have it the next day. needless to say we didnt get it! i called and the manager wouldnt get on the phone, he had some girl relay his messages to me, i could HEAR HIM talking in the background! they told me to call the warehouse manager and he said it would be another week or 2. when we finally got the chest it was cracked at the bottom all the way across.. the guy finally comes out to inspect our claims and all is good he leavesand he said he would leave his notes with his supervisor and someone will be calling me soon. TWO weeks went by and i heard NOTHING!! I called them and they had no record of this guy being at my house or any notes from him! so they had to send another person out.. SERIOUSLY!! the other guy comes out and takes his notes on the slat, drawer and knob screw and scratches but he SAYS he cant see any problem with the finish. (at this point the problem is on the head board, foot board, night stand and dresser) example.. if you have something on the night stand (alarm clock) and you pick it up, you can see where it was. it will leave a permanent blemish in the finish.. even if you have a tshirt sitting on the dresser, it will still leave a mark. he leaves says i will be getting a call soon. i give them a week and then i call! they said they are ordering me 2 drawers and a slat, i asked about the chest and she said she doesnt have anything on that and she would have to get back to me.. i asked about the finish problem and she said she would find out. so i give them a little while to figure it out.. i start getting parts in, (sitting up stairs unopened) it has been at least 4 weeks since i had heard anything so i called today and she said they have nothing on order for us. i asked for the corporate number and she tells me she doesnt have it and they are closed today.. good thing i have the magical internet box here at my finger tips! i told her not to worry i'd look it up online! and hung up! i do believe that i will start posting links to this site all over facebook too. people need to know about this company!

So after sending the store where I purchased the furniture a 3 page letter explaining why I am unhappy with their service and the steps I was going to take to have this company investigated. I receive a envelope in the mail today from them and I assumed it was a letter from the store manager--apologizing for what happened. Oh nooooo its had hand written note that says "Sorry for the inconvenience"...that's it. It looked like a two year old wrote it and inconvenience was misspelled. Also inside the envelope was a $100.00 gift card(I would have to purchase at least $1000 worth of furniture in order for it to be valid) and the card expires 12/31/2010. Are you f-king serious!! Who sends a pissed off customer a 4 word note and a gift card..this company is a joke. What part don't you understand, I am NEVER buying anything from this company ever again in life. Again, potential customers if you are reading this site saying it won't happen to me you are wrong. This company ONLY cares when they are trying to get you to buy something, once you place your order they could care less. -Nicole

Ordered paintings and furniture in June...its late October and its still not here and they keep giving me the run around and can not give a date of arrival! I will never recommend or puchase from Ashley again! BEWARE!!!

Add me to the list of disappointed customers of Ashley furniture. WOW if only I had done my research before stepping into the store I would not have to be writing on this site. I wish I could take back my order, but it took me so long to find something I like and I have no where to sit. Once you buy the merchandise from Ashley they wash their hands and have no more dealings with your order. They have no contact with the delivery agency which they hand over your order to. They told me they do not have anything to do with the delivery, someone should contact me they do not even have a phone number for them. Could you beleive that the store has no contact information for the delivery service they work with to delivery your furniture. I am still thinking about go over and getting my money back. STAY AWAY FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE
