Amy Timmons is the dumbest manager you have. I join the list of those who were ripped off with NON-POSTED Holiday Rates. How dare you bate and switch? What a dirty filthy thing to do to Senior Citizens. No wonder the show is always empty. Last time I ever go to your hole.

i would like to lodge a HUGE COMPLAINT. the family/handicap bathroom in the lobby of the amc theatre in garden state mall in paramus,nj, by the concession stand IS A COMPLETE DISGRACE TO PUT IT MILDLY. first of all: the bathroom smells every time i go in there. it is never cleaned properly anymore. it used to be well taken care of but not anymore. second: the sink doesn't work at all. i went in there this past Saturday and the sink was pulled apart and askew,and hasn't worked in over a month. the soap dispenser hasn't worked in literally 4 months if not longer. i am handicapped and in a wheelchair and this bathroom is supposed to make it easier for me and my husband who has to help me. it is an absolute disgrace to make the handicapped and mothers who need to go in there with their babies to change them use this disgusting excuse of a bathroom. i felt like taking a shower Saturday after going in there. SHAME ON YOU. THIS IS NO WAY TO TREAT THE HANDICAPPED AND MOTHERS WITH BABIES. SHAME ON YOU.

When we used an AMC giftcard on Monday (there were 5 of us) I requested 5 Senior Citizen tickets. The cashier didn't tell me that they didn't have Sr Citizen pricing in affect or that you only had one price Holiday Pricing is what they charged raised from the $7.25 to $10. When I questioned it (we had asked for SR citizen tickets on Monday) they charged us $10 - afterwards, talked to cust serv and they said they raised it to $10 for Holiday Prices - their theatres were packed so they gouged their customers. Wehrenberg didn't do that to their customers. They didn't bother to tell me they didn't have the regular Sr. citizen price when I asked for it. We won't be attending any AMC theatre again. And I will make sure all our friends and family who received AMC cards know what happened. AMC turned in to the GRINCH and SCROOGE in one UNHOLIDAY Package.

I have a family of 5, so as is we rarely go out to the theaters...but it is holiday break from school and we were given a giftcard as a gift. we went on a wed afternoon, before 6pm for matinee prices. When we got there, we were told that it was weekend pricing all thru the rest of the year, which is $10 for adults and $7.50 for child...they should be absolutely ashamed. It would cost me $45 just to get in the door. The website had nothing posted about different prices either, so we planned our day around movie times and ended up not even seeing a movie...not for that price. As far as I'm concerned, the giftcard is trash because I am boycotting AMC...I will not spend a dime there. Everywhere else, skating, bowling, even other theaters are having specials this time of year to help accommodate families and doing family kind of things, this certain company decides to take advantage. You have lost yet another customer.

I feel like reporting this company to the EEOC... I have worked for 3 major theater chains and have never been so disrespected. It amazes me that AMC expects so much from their employees such as having to sell a worthless program (stubs), we are not aloud to get free popcorn and/or courtesy cups of soda/tea/juice when we come for free movies, and for employees like me who live out of state it is a hassle to even get free tickets...all this for 8.25. I have worked for this company for almost 2 years and have never received one raise. The company gives no incentives to their employees sometimes we get promo stuff from studios, but only after the management has taken all the good stuff... woo hoo I sold 20 stubs in the concession stand today and I get to get a sony digital t shirt... This company is owned by JP MOrgan Chase and Is operated like a bank and shows... I will be posting videos on Youtube and emailing anyone who will listen. if I had an option I would go work for Cinemark again. At least there I got yearly evaluations and raises.

The AMC Deer Valley 30 has t to be losing money. This theater has lost me as a customer. I purchased four imax tickets, a stubbs card, pop corn and drinks and some candy. Over 100 dollars. We actually arrive early to pick our seats but that does not matter there because this theater has a late arrival seat program. I was asked while the previews were playing to move over to make room for some late arrivals and there were plenty of seats open but not in the best area, no worries let's reinforce last minute arrivals with this reward system and chase off the good customers to accomdate this. You have lost my business, harkins has betters seats.

I've been waiting for the movie The Descendants to be shown at your Rockford, Illinois theater. I called there and much to my dismay the person I talked to said The Descendants will not be shown in Rockford! My question is: Why? Rockford and the surrounding communities consist of over 200,000 people. What is wrong with our area that you are excluding us? Do I have to go to the Chicago area in order to see The Descendants? Maybe I'll just boycot your Rockford theaters in the future and go out of town to see all the movies I'm interested in. Please email me at bernadette29@aol.com with an explanation.

Your company is loosing money at the AMC Deer Valley location and I can tell you why! The location is poor no parking due to the shopping center, out of 30 screens in this building you have shut down 15 of them. The seats are small not wide enough I am not a fat person and it is tight for me. Your stubs program sucks, Why would I want to pay your $12 dollars a year for .50 cents off an overpriced drink? The theater is cold in the winter. I would rather go to Harkins they offer free Popcorn with the purchase of a t-shirt and $1.00 drinks. Now that is a program that is worth using. As for the show times I went to see HUGO I want to see it in the morning since I have other things to do in the afternoon. The 3-D starts at 1:00PM the regular starts at 11:00AM Why could you not start the 3-D at 11:30AM also some of the shows start at 4:00PM in the evening and only one show also the weekend shows start at different times from weekdays why so as to confuse the move going public. No wounder half of the theaters are closed. Poor business sense and planning too much corp greed! For what you charge for a med popcorn I can buy several pounds of popcorn...

I've been with AMC for 9 years now. I am disappointed in Amc's recognition of their employees. I can say that I make exactly what new hires make in az at $7.35. I take this as the company saying that they don't care how long you've been with the company or how hard you work. I've also asked during evaluations, why don't we get a score that overall gives you an above satisfactory or an outstanging? They replied that no-one can achieve this because of the areas of dress code 101, you do it or you don't. The knowleged of your job. you know it or you dont. and that brings down your final eval to a satisfactory. Ive had over 18 evals and its all the same you will only get a satifactory eval and will not be able to grow in the company unless you are good friends with the managers. I hope that you take from this and learn how to recognize the employees who do the best, especial the statement about the stubs sells. He's the best at his location and yet contacts amc like I am and waits to get a recognition.

I work at AMC and i am by far the best stubs/ sales person my AMC has I work my butt off every single shift and i am the youngest person there. My record for stubs was 42 in a 6 hour shift at box and 17 in a 6 hour shift at concession and basically i have been asking to be trained in various positions for awhile now and they keep saying yes but I never get trained in them. I was wondering if you could help me out please, also we had a stubs contest at my amc and who ever sold the most got to pick their schedule for 2 weeks i was wondering if i could use those two weeks for supervisor training? i won the contest with 235 or something stubs and the closest person to me at my amc had like 83 thanks, Fredric Luckettf12@bishopodowd.org

I am writing for immediate relief regarding my paycheck. I started working for this company about a month ago. Another woman started on the same date and received her check. We noticed a slight address error and corrected it in the system, but even though I asked for 4-5 days in a row about the issue, the check was never resent until Tuesday of LAST week. I decided not to go in to work anymore until I received my check, and it is now Sunday of the following week. I still have not received my check. Can someone call AMC EBlock in Minneapolis and straighten this out today? I do not want to use legal means, and the manager contended I was threatening him somehow. His name is Bob, and I don't see why it took four to five days to even address the issue. I have no phone, and I've been evicted due to non-payment of my rent. I don't know what to do except complain here. Could someone contact their corporate office and ask why my check was not overnighted to me two weeks ago? We're already in another pay period, and I should not have to sleep outside (I'm literally sleeping outside in no shelter in MN). Thanks again and let's get this resolved today. I have no idea why the man thought I was threatening him at all, and I think it is because he does not want me to ask about my check on a daily basis as instructed by management. I've never heard of working somewhere where you did not get paid or people waited on sending you your paycheck like this. If I were a man, I think I would have been paid immediately or had this overnighted to me. Even the management team, indicated that this could be overnighted to me like other employees had received. The Bob person said that one employee had not received checks for up to two pay cycles as if that were acceptable too. Again, I'd like this resolved today and my check today as well as this week's pay cycle forwarded me today. Bob continues to blame it on "corporate," and it seems a shame to lose someone who can work in the projection and most departments overall because you can't get a check out to someone or you expect me to sleep in the street while I wait for a check. The guy said I could create an apartment or something at work, and just seems a bit nosy, bizarre, and again, I HAVE NOT BEEN PAID. NOTHING WAS SENT IN THE MAIL THIS PAST TUESDAY. I am writing you due to the treatment received at the AMC 24 theater on Sloan Road in Hamilton New Jersey and after my request to the manager on duty on October 29th at 4:45pm to have his supervisor call me. There has been numerous high school kids watching rated R movies that are under 17 after the parent has purchased the tickets. On October 29th at 4:45 pm I was told that the only way my high school daughter and the other kids from the high school marching band could see the movie is if I or another adult stayed and set in the theater for the show they were going to see, I had the kids pull and show tickets for other rated r movies the have seen during the past week and the manager laughed in my face and went on to tell me that it has been AMC policy for years to have a child or children under 17 escorted by a adult to watch the movie. Todate the supervisor or any person has yet to call me about the treatment received............

Thought you should know. The marquee lights don't go on til 9pm at 86th & 3 Ave in Manhattan location. This location is one of Manhattans busiest foot traffic locations. This has been going on for over a year and it gets dark at 5pm in the winter.

I wanty to share this information with others. Just went to AMC Castleton with the free screening tickets received from gofobo. When I arrived there, was told that the movie sold out and I have to buy ticket or leave. This is a bad management. I told the security that can I watch other movie? He said that he just send 20 others peoples back those came same as me with screening tickets. This is ridiculus. Those 20 peoples do not come by themselve. They received the free screening tickets from gofobo, why should they have to waste their gas money and time for the gofobo bad information. The theater should have let the guests to pick other movie by fixing gofobo bad information. I am sure those upset guest were cheated to go there were told free screening movies end up have to leave. What goes around come around. The manager name is RJ, he is stupid does not know how to handle the situation. If he let those 20 guests came in watch the screening movie, I am sure they will come back again. But I think they will never go back to AMC for their bad management.

I approached AMC to buy ticket, when I urgently needed to go to the bathroom, so I walked up to the entrance door. I told the doorman that I needed to use the restroom, but he told me that I had to buy a ticket before he would let me in. I then ran over to buy a ticket, but accidentally trinckled a little urine in my pants, before I could get back to the door. In my opinion, AMC failed in customer service. Definitely not American.

Sounds like a lot of unhappy customers. Your announced move from Downtown Kansas City to sprawling Johnson County just created another one (more likely hundreds of new unhappy customers). AMC could have done the right thing, showed a bit of corporate responsibility and stayed true to their roots, but chose to contribute to sprawl and unsustainability by taking the money and running ..... a few miles across state line. Very disappointing and irresponsible action on AMC's part.

I am doin a paper for business class and i just need to find out information like how many people are employed with AMC theatre and where the best place to find out all the information i need to do this paper... it would be nice if someone would help me or direct me in the path i need to find this stuff at. I have been to the AMC theaters twice in menlo park mall. My first experience was great that I raved about it convincing people to go their instead of regular theaters. I am 19 years old, and the first time I was not ID to sit In the cinema suite, the second time I was. However, I live in staten island and drove 30 minutes to see a movie I had bought tickets to 2 days prior with both of my parents as well as my boyfriend. THey would not let me in, this rule is OBSURD! I am 19 with my PARENTS and cannot get into a movie but can get into a bar? It does not make any sense whatsoever! The first time I was allowed to sit there but not the second time, even though the fork and screen they still serve you alcohol I can sit in there but not in cinema suite. I am very sorry for your loss because I will make sure everyone I know friends family co workers will never ever ever spend any money on your AMC theaters anywhere! As well as this happening after having to travel there and back for nothing they refunded us the money last night this occurred and now my mother Checked her account and they charged us twice instead of refunding us. Everyone there is stupid, you need to hire new people and get better "rules" .. Think about all of the customers you lost, oh well... You definitely need some revisions to your theaters after reading all of these complaints. You are losing tons of business!!
