Its one of the worst company to deal with I don't have time to write I am contacting my lawyer and writing to BBB they are bunch of fraud people running the company.

ADT was supposed to install a device that would allow the system to function through my wireless router rather than my home phone. After 5 failed attempts and several months of no alarm service, they offer no solution and absolutely no credit or incentive. The final call they offer me a credit IF I remained a customer and ASSURED me that the part was in stock and ready for installation for yet another service call. I called to verify and of course one hour before he is set to arrive - NO part. When I call back, I'm told it was my fault for discontinuing service to my home phone, when I had notified them months in advance. I was also told to be thankful that I was on the "premium" service and wasn't charge for all those service calls. (Service calls that never happened, while I sat home waiting.) They do not care and offer no sympathy or incentive. They are happy to see customers go.

They have purchasded just about everyone....that should tell you something why should they care, but a bigger question why should the govenment allow this monopoly

It took over one year to get servie and them the salesperson was was very happy to take my money for four five detailed systems and very upset with me for not paying when they lost one of the checks. I have spent overy seven thousand dollars with ADT not counting a house in another state (for years) since January 2012. They were upset when I said I did not want automatic bank draft because they always did it that way. They were advised that the houses in another state were paid annualy and there were no problems especially when they did not care that the alarm went off all the time, the police came, we paid fines and ADT did not call anyone. They did not care that the equipement was out of date and most of it not working. ADT said that you had to call them and schedule a service appointment at their convience to corret any faulty equipment and wanted to ignore the fact that the maintaince agreement was paid every January for twenty years and said we had to pay. I said 'BULLSHIT'! Please check your detailed records at your convience and we shall await more break-ins and theft and see them in court. DID YOU KNOW, all of a sudden it was convient for them to see that payment was recieved for montering and maintaince and it would be convient for them to update the equipement that was long not being used and would not connect to this day's ADT system. ADT, you need to not worry about taking all the money you can and more with out putting out SERVICE, GOOD EQUIPMENT AND PROPER BOOKKEEPING procedures. Every now and then you have a good hearted knowledgeable decent employee and then you fire them because they want to do a good joy and ADT only wants MONEY without the values and rules and decency that should accompany making money. I wonder if ADT MANAGEMENT KNOWS ABOUT GOD AND ALL THAT HE REPRESENTS? Do you read the BIBLE? Were you not raised in a Christian home and Bible based church? Why do you not care about customers and doing a proper job? Why do you not complete installations. Why do you not give refunds for overpayment? How do you stay in business? How much of the customers money goes to paying off officials to look the other way? What is the name of your secert cult or coalition? Are you in with the MAFIA? How do hood wink nice people to work for you? Why are you happy to have to many stupid, dump, floormat type, idiot customers the you hoodood into giving you their money? Are your families proud of you? Do they enjoy playing whatever, whenever on the inproperpley obtained money? Do your sins make you so happy that you just want to get more money for nothing? Are you happy to have zero complaince and quality controls in place? How much do you pay in attorney fees monthly and annualy? How much time do you spend on figuring out how to swindle more money? AND ARE YOU REALLY HAPPY and IN TUNE WITH THE LORD OUR SAVIOR? ARE YOU WALKING WITH GOD? OR WHO ARE YOU MAKING YOUR BED WITH? HAVE YOU REALLY LOOKED INSIDE YOURSELVES AND Considered what elso can we do to RIP OFF THE DUMB CUSTOMERS. BY the way, I will publish this in many newspapers and the wall street journal and other places, perhaps you may consider fixing my alarm and many other peoples alarms. I know you get a deadbeat every now and then, but you should take care of us stupid, dumb customers because we just do not know any better than to sign up with ADT. Guess we fell for the RIP OFF. Who ever heard of a motion detector saying 'smoke up north'? AND why do you not return calls and do service and complete installations? And shouldn't you teat us stupid, dumb idiots like people? Or are you treating us like you want to be treated? I am sure your children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, wife, parents, in-laws do not want for anything and I have by good authority that your security systems work like they should and you pay nothing. Hope you sleep welll and are happy and healthy. Oh, yes you are because you can afford to be. You will be in our prayers and raised up to the Lord our Savior. It is our prayer that you will be saved and come to your senses. Should that happen you will have many friends and not be looking over your shoulders so much. And you will not need to continue seeing your shrinks. Please be saved and take care of your customers. After all, their money is what you are living on. If you took care of your customers correctly they would not mind you living off of them. As it is now, you live for the dollar and do not care for the souls, especially yours. Why do you not have minus ratings? Have you ever even given thought to all the negative input from your customers? I would never recomemd ADT to anyone....Not even someone I disliked. ADT needs help. Please get it. We are paying for nothing.

I have had adt for the past 5 years and just realized after my mom had a medical emergency / stroke tried to go outside for help when the alarm went off for 52 minutes while she lay passed out on the floor. I had no call from adt/ a neighbor had to find a bill in my house so they could contact me. Called adt to find out what the problem was. Was told, oh you don't have an account with us. NO KIDDING. EVERYSINGLE MONTH ON THE 20TH ADT BILLS MY ACCOUNT $50.00 for services on an account they show was closed in October 2011. REALLY .....AS IF THAT WASN'T THE REAL SHOCKER.......THE REFUND I AM SUPPOSED TO GET BACK OF $463.00 FOR NON-EXISTING BILLED SERVICES is a battle ground. It was supposed to be sent back to me over 20 days ago....and it was just processed yesterday, so i have to wait another 5-7 days... I want out. I am filing a LAWSUIT....this is LUDACRIS.............I AM NOT PLAYING.

I just signed up for landline telephone service. Since that time I have received a solicitation call from ADT. I have asked them to stop calling, and the response is it will take 30 days to take the number off their list. This is unacceptable and I will file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau as a harassment claim. These people are vultures!

We have had this systems since Jan. 2010. A 2 year contract. We have been having problems for the past 4 months with the alarms going off for no apparent reason. We paid almost $1000.00 for their $99. special. We have every opening covered. Now the alarm goes off and we do not even get a call from ADT to check on the problem. We have not had a contract since January and NO ONE HAS CONTACTED US.. When we called 2 weeks ago their rep told us that we had to call their contractor to take care of our problem. Wow, the first 6 months are covered with a contractor. After that ADT, THEMSELVES, take care of the problem. They didn't even know! After 2 1/2 HOURS on the phone with them they set an appointment for last saturday between 12 - 5....NO ONE SHOWED UP!!! NO ONE. When my husband called he found out that the appointment was never made. Now they came out today only to tell us that the system is old, used only by contractors, and our sensors are out of date!!!!! We need NEW!!! Now, we wait again. I am not happy with the incompetence of this company. Someone said ADT was a joke. I believe they are right. With 25 million people out of work I'm sure they could find someone who know what customer service is. Apparently it is not ADT!!!

I can not believe the service I have received from ADT. Getting my contract signed was entirely a focused event from ADT. But once that was done, it has been the worst business experience probably ever. I was scheduled to be installed, but we had to move it because my cable lines were having an issue and ADT needed them for security service. Upon Charter Cable fixing the situation I called my rep who confirmed an install on Thursday. He requested my handyman’s phone number via email prior for the install so we were set. I returned from a business trip the following Monday to move into our new location. That now has to be postponed because ADT did not do the install. I called my rep and asked why it had not been installed. He said it was installed as scheduled on Thursday. I said it had not. He said he would find out and let me know. Not being informed of the situation I emailed later that day to get an update. The next day I called again. Then I received an email that said “Both the sales manager and the installation manager of working feverishly this. As you know we had to reschedule from our initial installation on july fifth as the phone lines and internet were not ready. I expect to have an answer for you today.” Today is two days later with no response and I again have to postpone my move into the new office. We have very expense equipment and my insurance company will not allow us to move without a security system. This is absolutely uncalled for. If you do not have the capability to service what you sell then you should not take the customers money. But boy getting the deposit was like a finely tuned machine.

Very dishonest Company. Their training and treatment of the sales people is the worst. As an ex-Sales manager, fired for not following a procedure that was never in place, I am bitter so my warning to the general public may simply fall on deaf ears, thinking I am just a disgruntled employee however, facts are facts. it's a good ole boy organization where the sales managers make an easy 3 figure salary while the sales people are losing their homes paying for wasted gas to follow up on worthless leads. The "SPARTAN" Regional director out of Atlanta is a joke and thinks he is the protocal son of Vince Lombarde. Each year they spend hundreds of thousands on a rah rah campaign in Phoenix for sales management while the work force of sales people are beat up and threatened to do their jobs with below standard support from the Install side. The Pulse product is a joke....read the reviews on ADT before you throw away your money. Customer service is non existent and rude. Once they get your contract forget about any satisfaction as they nickel and dime you over the next several years. This company is on a spiral to fail, Investors stay away, job seekers stay away and for the General Public run !!

I had ADT for a house we have in the country. We paid over $1000.00 for the system and $60. or so per month for the life of the contract (I believe it was 3 yrs). It was a wireless system in that we did not have a telephone land line there. We repeatedly received alert robo calls from ADT. I would then call them and in every instance it was a false alarm When I got the alert calls I would also call my neighbors to go and check my house-- eventually I stopped doing that. When the contract ended I called ADT to cancel and told them why. The rep offered me a free month (I believe was the enticement) to continue with them which I declined. She did not show any concern whatsoever for the reason that I decided not to stay with the. When I declined the retention offer, the call was over and I have not heard from them.

Corporate headquarters , which I did speak with a faith on fri.06-12. With a technician coming out to my home for servicing the alarm system , didn't know what he was doing , my hubsand said . Then the next morning my phone line was dead, not only now system not working , he messed up our phone line and I have a diabeti son and me on insulin I keep my home line for . I called the office for 2 days letting them know this and to send a tech back out to resolve this matter. They said that after I did test of what rep told me , that they were scheduling a tech to come back out around 5:00 pm , well I called at least 3to 4 times that day , no one never called me to let me know , when I called all I kept getting from all the costumer service reps. Someone coming out. Then last call st 10:00 pm at night , that reps. Tells me no one coming out , no experienced techs for the job, we have to wait until thur.12th for an apt.i also did my comment about our feeling of the service and how we have been treated as costomers , and I bet your company won't post it , because it's not good , but the truth. So that's als a joke. Don't ask the costomers if your not going to post the truth. Only what makes company looks good to stay in business . Today on 7-7/12 I had to call my phone company to come out to fixed my phone lines , that your unexperienced techs messed up and I told my hubsand , that we will search for another security company , with better reps. That knows what ther doing and trained and experienced well trained techs, not picking people up that need a job sending out to peoples home messing up wires and can't fixed the system right. Your company is just taking people's money and don't really care about the costomers . My situation is serious of me and my son being insulin dependent. I keep my home line for us for E.R. Only. And all you get from your company is I'm sorry. ADT suppose to be for protect and e.r. On Monday I'm also contacting my attorney of this matter. Your ADT company is terriable of service and unexperienced reps and techs. No costomers should have to keep calling the company and getting the run around paying there money for service . If the company goes out of business , I'll understand why . It won't get our referral that's for sure . I hope this message gets to the big executive man and not delected , for review so the company stays in business . I am not a costomers just complaining of something small , this is hudge . I am very upset at the customer service that I have received by adt the sales person that installed our system advised us to put our payment on our card of 50.00 to be taken out we did just that then we receive a bill saying we still owe billing the 47.00 we tried to call billing for help and they advised us that adt protect your home part took our money instead of billing and we have been trying for 30 days now just to get the payment refunded back on the card our first call was on june 2nd they told us that it takes up to 7 to 10 business days for the refund to be process it is now july 6th and our payment has still not been refunded back on to the card for the billing part to take our payment. I have not receive no good customer service I never knew of a company that when you call customer service they have the right to treat customers like crap and are very rude they are not there to help customers they are there to make adt look very bad I work in billing for a cell phone company so I understand how billing works and what you are suppose to receive from customer service. I do not want to be reminded about my contract I am not an idiot and I know that we have service for 3 years but we don't have to be reminded when we are calling customer service to get our billing fixed we didn't screw it up you guys did and all I have received is hostile customer service reps, ADT if you want to stay in business then you better look at your customer service to stay a float you need to train them soft skills because they are very rude and they don't want to help. The bad thing is that I am a new customer to you guys and the service at the home is great the sales person that came out and installed our system was very nice. But if I knew that your customer service line was going to give me a bunch of hell and pretty much say as a customer we are the ones that are wrong and they as customer service is always right. I do believe they have forgotten the phrase that Customers are always right. My husband has contacted corporate head quarters by phone and I hope we get some resolution out of this, my last resort if nothing is done in adt error I will be contacting the BBB for further assitance. It looks like your company is in need of review with all the bad complaints that I have been reading on hear today

Me and my hubsand has been dissatisfied with ADT services ,sinice they have merge with brinks security system . We never had a problem with them. We didn't even get a email or letter in mail when ADT took over. This week they sent out a supposed to been a technician that we thought was experienced. Well guest what my hubsand had told me that he didn't know what he was doing , when he was out to our home of fixing the problem, because he had to call the company to ask questions for help. Well the next morning I picked up my phone to use it and my home line was dead. So I have been on the phone all day , speaking with reps. And team managers that's unexperienced and given me the wrong info of a technician coming today. I have called up to 10:00 pm and the last rep. Tells me when I call again that no ones coming , he's sorry for the misunderstanding for today , but there is no experienced technicians until next thur. The 12th avil. I told these people that , I need my house line for e. r. For me a diabetic and my diabetic son. They told me there ain't nothing else they can do , but that's okay I told my husband when they come back out and fixed my phone line , we would cancel them and fine another service , or just use our dogs. I even called headquarters and complain , the lady told me to call back if it didn't get resolve , and she was going to call . But not make me a promise someone would come out . There the worse company we have had bad buisness with , just taking people's money . Something needs to be done of all the complaints. Thank you!

I'm curious why ADT's refund department felt it urgent to phone me at 6:30 in the morning from Colorado to ask if I have deposited a $92 refund check. Seriously, I don't care if the agent, Cody, starts work there at 8am mountain time. It is inappropriate to phone customers prior to business hours unless it is an emergency and this clearly was not. But looking at the poor reviews this company receives from customers, I can see why this operation decision was made by those in billing. If I was getting such poor ratings, I would clean up my act.

I had my system upgraded and unfortunately I was sold things that I did not need which ran into a hefty sum. I trusted the salesman but he did not do right by me. Trying to call for help did nothing. No one could help me. I am disgusted by the way I'm being treated.

First of all the guy who sold me the system said it was a 2 yr contract, but after 2 yrs I wanted to ge rid of the system, (which has never worked) the lady on the phone said that it was 3 yrs not 2 and that it would cost me 600 dollars to cancel the contract, when I explained that it had never worked she wanted to send someone out, but only if we paid for parts and a the repair service which she said would cost around 300 dollars.. Not gonna happen, they shouldn't of installed a faulty system to begin with and I had called off and on for 2 yrs trying to get it takn care of, well I finally got in touch with a lady from the corp. office and she said things were fixed, that she had cancelled the contract and we wouldnt be charged a fee and the monthly payments would no longer be taken from my account, but what do you know on the 4th of this month yet again the money is taken and when I called her back and asked about it she says oh that wasn't suppoed to happen we will get it back to you asap, I am still waiting for my money to be replaced, have called several times, and asked what the hold up is and the only thing I have gotten is that the service is cancelled, and my money would be in my ban in 2 days time, that was over a week ago.. I've gotten no call backs and no word from anyone.. I will not reccommend the service to anyone because of the bad service and time I've had with this company.. They took my money for over 2 yrs and I got nothing in return except a faulty non-working system and a big run around.. Highly disapprove and do not respect..

Better yet, i am a sub contractor for ADT they pay us at a net60 which means we do not get paid for 60 days.IF we need odds and ends to finish a job CORRECTLY and submit a receipt it takes 60 days to get our money for that also. I dont know bout everyone else but my bills are due monthly.

If the customer ASKS THE CORRECT REQUIREMENTS, and most important to get a written viable contract decribing what ADT is and Will be responsible, the process would be easy, AND more customers willbe happy from the beginning.... READ< ASK< WRITTEN , I have had others that DID not ....

I had ADT in Denver, CO install surveillance camaras at my property.The sales manager and I discussed in detail where the DVR was to be located. I also went over details with their techs. Without consulting me they did what was convenient for them and not according to plan. They also left disconnected cables hanging. On May 21, the sales manager said they had to order a part. I have not heard a word since and I have not been able to use the system. As a consumer my advice to other consumers find another company.
