The store in Pooler Ga is the worst store ever!!!!! First they didnt send my tables with my living room furniture, my pillow that goes on the back of the furniture was cut that wasnt cut before in the store, my lamps didnt match like they did in the store my husband had to help the deliver guy bring the furniture in the house because they only sent one guy to do the job. The manager Jason comes to my house and kicks my door calls and says hes going to put us in jail, so its safe to say when im done speaking to corp i will not be useing aarons anymore!!!!!
I rented furniture from Aaron's first started with incorrect date told and what was listed on my account so ended up paying out total now i'm down to last 3 payments and came up little short don't owe back pay and my leather furniture had a hole in back which they sent out indv to sew instead of replacing now t hey have nerve want to come and get my furniture. They seem to not care only about selling with those fake greetings when you enter in SATX store of Walzem area. Beware!

I rented a table from Aaron and when i was 3 days late they sent someone to my home and my work place and the store manager (AVA) had harassed me so bad to the point i had to contact corp and the police. This woman beat on my doors and windows and went to the point of call me a bitch and throwing rocks at my door. All over missing a payment. I didn't know that bill collectors come to your place of work. I would never get anything else from this company it is a piece of shit!!!!!!! Memphis, TN
I have always delt with Aarons in Georgia at the mableton store and never had a problem. We have bought a tv and a computer from there and almost finished paying on a washer and dryer. My job located me here to Vegas in henderson and believe me it is like dealing with an entire set of people. Because I am a property manager at a property I took over and the past manager ran off with their furniture they didn't want to rent to me, finally after that battle which I should of took as a blessing in disguise...i did rent a living room set. Well from the beginning the furniture has made a noise when you sit on it, the tables or so cheap, we put a oil air freshner sitting on the table and the oil (not Hot) took off the top of the table..r u kidding me! Well in all my history I have always paid everything off and on time but since moving here I am still trying to get settled.. when I am one day late they have called my office etc looking for me and now stating to drop off a post dated check..?? Then I wouldn't and I am 5 days late and they are threatning to go to my home.. in which they know I am not there..I work.. I could see if it IF i was weeks late or if I didn't have a good history with them. When we moved before we moved we told the store in Georgia and our history spoke for everything. They were fine with me taking the washer and dryer..Because of the nice people in Georgia their reputation I decided to use the store here.. well they are terrible!!! not to mention I have asked 3 times for them to come out and check the couch.. which they haven't. I guess I should let them pick it up and then they can sit on it theirselves..they don't mind making threats..they tell me I have to keep the furniture 6 months.. so as soon as that is over.. they can take the couch and that will be the last I will ever get from them. Sorry Aarons but you LOST A GOOD CUSTOMER THANKS TO YOUR HENDERSON STORE!! AND I WILL NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE..AS A MATTER OF FACT I WON'T EVEN ADVERTISE ANYMORE IN THE OFFICE..I WOULD HATE FOR ANYONE TO HAVE TO DEAL WITH THIS STORE HERE.
I'm sorry but I don't know where all these things are taking place, but the Aaron's I have done business with for almost 5 years now, is nothing like I'm reading about here. My Aaron's is located in Mexico, Mo., I have bought my stainless steel side by side refrig., a 65 inch TV, a 32" flat screen tv, my Wii game console, both my front load washer, and front load dryer, both on pedestal, and last but not lease, my laptop computer, from them. I have paid everything off except I still am paying on my laptop, and my front load dryer. I'm disabled, been thur 2 divorces which has left me with bad credit, I like nice things and have no problem paying for them, yes they are expensive but you know these things when you sign the lease agreement. Yes there has been break downs, and a repair man was sent right out. What some of you may not realize, the repairmen, DO NOT WORK AT AARON'S, or at least the one that services my store doesn't. He is a local appliance repairman, that has HIS OWN BUSINESS, he only comes to work on Aaron's repairs after hours, I for one didn't have a problem with that, because he did come in a timely matter. When I had problems with the first laptop I got from them, it locked up and fried, I called them, they sent someone right out, and I live 35-40 miles from the store. The guy they sent out looked at it, seen it was not reparable, called the store and talked with Daryl the store manager, and by the next day I went up and picked out a newer laptop, with all my payments that had been paid on the one that quit, deducted from the newer model I picked out. I have nothing but "GOOD" things to say for my Aaron's Store and each and every employee that works there. They treat everyone that comes thur the door as if their family, or at least thats what I've seen everytime I've been in there, and as you can see, I've done alot of business with them, and I'm not one to make snap decisions, so when I go there looking to buy something, I take my time, I ask questions, they know I make all my payments on the 1st of the month when I get my disability check and its never been a problem, no matter what day of the month it has been when I went in and started leasing something. I'm not saying what any of you have said is not true, just don't let that experience with the personnel in 'that' store ruin it for you completely. I would like to add , when dealing with any rent-to-own places, payday loans, credit for people with bad credit companies, be sure to ask questions, be in complete understanding of what is expected of you and how much its going to cost, take time to read that small print, if you have to put your glasses on to read it, then put them on, because more likely than not you can almost count on it to be something you may not like, why else would it be written so small, do all of this before you sign your name to anything. They do give 90 days same as cash, which by that time you know if you think the final price is more than you want to pay, if so, turn it back in to them after that 90 days. I hope Daryl the store manager at the Mexico, Mo Aaron's rent-to-own store reads this, so he knows he's doing a job well done, in my book. With all the negitive things you all were saying, I could not sit by and not throw some good in there, I'm very apprecitive of Aaron's for trusting in me, and working with me, and giving me the chance to have nice things that I wouldn't have gotten without them. THANK YOU AARON'S RENT-TO-OWN, Keep up the good work, and I will be back in, to buy something else, just as soon as I get one of the 2 items I'm paying on paid off!
To Tristan Ault-- You say yourself, you and your girlfriend was cleaning under the tv and it fell, where is it that you think that is Aaron's fault? At least they are going to fix it, where if you had bought it at Walmart or where ever, you would be screwed dude, cuz once its in your hands, and you drop it and break it, its your baby. So appreciate the fact that you haven't paid all the money out and not have anything since they said they would order the parts to fix it. It does not say in the lease agreement anywhere, if you break it, they will rush right out with a new one, it takes time to order parts, you guys are not the only customers, next time be more careful while cleaning. Don't you just 'gotta love' the ones that expect the world to stop, because him and his girlfriend sounds as if their to clumsy to be cleaning anything? Gotta to Love you guys!! I have had my television for about a year now and still have to pay on it for another year. Well for some reason my HDMI ports quit working. At first Aaron's gave the impression that they were not going to fix it when it states in the contract they they have to.So we took the tv to the store and they said they were sending it out to be repaired. I made sure twice that there was nothing wrong with the tv no scrathes, nothing missing and when I got it it had came straight from the box. Well it took over a month to get my tv back and when I finally did there were scratches all over it chunks out of the stand and scews missing out of the back. When I took it in to show the man he told us he could put a couple of screws back in it. WHAT THE HELL. IM PAYING A LITTLE OVER $1,700 DOLLARS. HOW DO I KNOW THEY DIDNT FORGET TO PUT SOMTHING INSIDE THE TV.I am so upset with this company I will tell everyone I know not to go to AAron's. Im really disgusted about the fact I guess they don't want very much more bussiness anymore. I want the phone number to the home office or I want something done!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
WAS a customer of Aaron's for only 6 months. Never missed any payments. I was only late by 4 days and they came to pick up my furniture!?!? I hadn't missed any payments! Now between the Account Mgr and the Stock Mgr they misconfigured my dates, but as a result they were so unorganized they didn't realize my payment wasn't due until 11/15. They STILL took the furniture!! Idiots. Then they send some dude with bad breath "randomly" to my house unannounced??? If they wanna have a showroom full of furniture fine by me, and THEY DO!! NOW WE ALL KNOW WHY!! They can have that cheap furniture, which the day they delivered it had a broken leg and they didn't bother to fix it nor replace it. I will never ever use them again. Too high priced and too low quality. They need to revamp their processes and stores. I'll be using another company.
I walk in to the aaron's in Hot Springs, Arkansas to rent a couch and to my surprise there were no salesmen on the floor, or management of any kind only a woman whom was doing her daily work behind the desk. She gladly stopped what she was doing to help, they never came out from the back or stopped there conversation it must of been to important it was about sports and such, oh yeah the managers childdern where there also guess he has no child care. She was so helpful and pleasent, but they didn't have what i wanted. But as I was leaving the manager finally pulled him self away from that important conversation long enough to chew her out for not doing something that was his damn job in the first place. What kind of Manager do you have running that place, I've been there before and he is very rude to her and to his children which should not even be there. I don't want her to lose her job and if i find she does this will be on the internet and in the arkansas newspapers. The manager is the one with isssues.
@Lucky Dog Cares:::::It would be nice if i had a complaint about the store and could actually get something done about it.I have asked for the district managers number and was told"WE ARENT ALLOWED TO GIVE THAT OUT"...They said i coud forward him a message and he would call me.Its been over a month and still no phone call....They are extremely racist at my local store...Very friendly to the hispanic customers as they are all hispanic that work there...I guess since Im white my opinion doenst matter..I have gone up there and asked for the manager and was told she would be with me in a few minutes,20 minutes passed and you could see them looking at me thru the glass and just talking and laughing..Guess I will take my business elsewhere when I get my account payed off.Maybe if I refused to make my payment till he called I might get a call back.They are obviously hiding stuff from the district manager or they wouldnt refuse to let a complaint go over them.
I paid a hundred dollars for the first months lease on a laptop and took it back the next day because it was a piece of junk. I told the representative that I would prefer to switch to a mattress set because the laptops they offered were not of a quality that I felt was worth the price. The representative refused the transfer and said he would "see what he could work out". The store manager was insanely rude and treated me as if I was incompetent. We returned all of the merchandise within 48 hours of purchase excluding an antivirus and all we asked was that we keep the antivirus for the $110 that we paid. Instead we were threatened that if we did not return the disk they would file a POLICE REPORT! Are you kidding me???? We were treated like garbage and will NEVER do business with Aaron's again!

I recently rented a bedroom set in Norman,OK on August 30, 2011, I made the payment for the month of September at that time which was $148.00, I was told and my contract also stated that my payments were due on the 15th of each month, two pieces of the bedroom furniture the nightstand and the dresser were damaged so the person helping me at Aarons said he was going to get them from another store, and they would be delivered after they came in, I asked if this would change the price on my payment he told me "NO", it took about two weeks for me to receive the two pieces of furniture, then about 3 days later I was called at work and told that my payment was due, it wasn't even the end of September, I told the person who called that there had to be a mistake because my payments were due the 15th of each month, and I had already made the payment for the month of September, she said that it was for the nightstand and dresser, I told her that it was all suppose to be one payment and had been paid for, she put me on hold, then came back on and said I was correct. In the month of September (my second mistake) I went in and ordered a refridgerator I paid $58.00 for the first month rent, a few days later I called and cancelled the delivery because I was given a new refridgerator, I told them to put my $58.00 payment toward my bedroom furniture payment for the month of October, I was told that they would, on October 16, I sent my son with $150.00 to make my payment for October, he was told that only $114.00 was needed for the monthly payment and that the $58.00 for the refridgerator had been added to the month of October payment, that adds up to $172.00, that gives me $24.00 in credit, this is still October and I'm getting phone calls and they sent people to my house to pick up my bedroom furniture saying that I owe between $48.00 and $33.00, they not sure of the amount it changes everytime I talk to someone and no one can answer my question on how I could owe a payment when I've paid $172.00 in the month of October for a $148.00 furniture payment, and I still owe??? PEOPLE BEFORE YOU WALK IN THE DOORS OF THE AARONS IN NORMAN, OKLAHOMA, STOP TURN AROUND AND GO ELSEWHERE!!!!I will also be calling the Executive Office in Atlanta, GA, to make a formal complaint, I suggest everyone who has a problem with Aarons do the same, maybe then something will be done to help the consumers...I doubt anything will be done but at least the receptionist will have something to do answering all the complaints!!
So I rented a laptop from Aarons in Tempe Arizona along with a bed and a living room set and televison. The first problem we had was when my husband and I came home and turned on the tv and there was no picture.... it looked like a big spider web was running across the screen. Well i called the store. i was told to take pictures and email them which i did. i was then told there was nothing they could do because it looked like someone threw something at the tv. we were not HOME. I have no kids so who did it Casper ???? When the guy came out to my house to look at it he then tells me someone could have broke in. well dumbass if the tv was on the floor when i got home i would have had to pick it up RIGHT ????? well it wasnt so now are you telling me someone broke in just to break the tv??? yeah ok. well we went for almost 3 weeks with no tv and kept being told the RM would call which guess what ??? HE NEVER DID !!!! Thats not all.... we had to move out of state. the morning of our move i called Richard the GM he told me they would be there no later then 3pm this was at 9am that morning. by 3 no one had showed up I was traveling 1800 miles and had to get the show on the road. i gave my key to my friend for years so she could let them in when they finally got there. She called me and let me know they were there and everything was cool. as they were leaving she had to tell them to get the bed because they were leaving without it !!!! almost a month later i get a note in the mail saying the laptop was never returned !!!! I havwe since talked to the GM and the DRIVER and CORP and no one will tell me what is going on and they want me to pay for a laptop they picked UP !!!! I will take this to court. I am seriously thinking class action law suit. Anyone else who wants in please let me know. FUCK YOU AARONS AND YOUR CROOKED WAYS
I just rented a bedroom set from Aarons which was used and I asked for a new one. I paid the monthly fee and was told my order would be here between 11-4pm on Thursday, it did not come to my home until 8:30pm and even then was put together poorly! My bed is still on the floor! I called all day Thursday to see when they were coming and they did not come until they felt like it, now here it is Friday at 10:15pm and my bed is still on the floor! I just called again for the 13th time and the manager said that he is sorry and will not be out here until tomorrow now! WTF if you do not understand my rage Aarons must be black owned, not to sound racist because I am black but this is very poor customer service smdh! I rent from Rent-A-Center as well and let me tell you the customer service is exceptional I do not care how expensive it is, it is worth it.
WE RECENTLY RENTED TO OWN A WASHING MACHINE FROM AARONS IN MARION OHIO .WE HAVE BEEN KEEPING UP WITH THE PAYMENTS AND HAVE HAD NO BEEF WITH THEM UNTIL NOW. WE RECENTLY 9TODAY0 SPOKE WITH JON AT THE STORE TO MAKE ARRANGEMENTS TO CATCH UP A PAYMENT AS MY HUSBAND MISSED A DAY DUE TO ILLNESS AND ALSO THEY CUT BACK HOURS AT HIS WORK . WE TOLD THEM THE PAYMENT WOLD BE IN FULL AS HE IS NOW BACK UP TO FULL HOURS BUT THAT HE GETS PAID EVERY 2 WEEKS....THEY DECIDED TO ARGUE BACK WITH US . HERE WE WERE DOING THE RIGHT THING AND TRYING TO SET SOMETHING UP . HERES THE SAD THING ....THE WASHER WE ARE GETTING FROM THEM HAS BEEN DMAGED AND THE DRUM WOULDNT EVEN TURN . THEY ARE CHARGING US 400.00 FOR USED AND BADLY DAMAGED MERCHANDISE. WHEN I CALLED THEM THAT I TRIED TO DO A LOAD MY FLOOR ENDED UP COVERED IN WATER . THEY SAID THEY WOULD SEND OUT A REPAIR MAN TO LOOK AT IT ..WHICH TOOK ALMOST A WEEK FOR HIM TO SHOW UP THEN HE SAID YES IT NEEDS A NEW DRUM INSTALLED .....SO THEY HAD TO PICK THAT UP AND BRING A TEMP REPLACEMENT WHICH TOOK AND 3 DAYS . WHEN THE DELIVERY GUYS GOT THERE ,THEY EVEN BROKE MY CEILING LIGHT TRYING TO MOVE THE WASHER . THE LIGHT WAS NOT REPLACED BY THEM IT WAS REPLACED BY ME.NOW THEY ARE TRYING TO ARGUE WITH US THAT THEY WILL COME PICK IT UP AND NOT WORK WITH US.SO I CALLED AND SPOKE MY MIND WITH JOHN. HE STATEMENT WAS .."WHY ARE YOU YELLING AT ME OR CALLING ME?"..I SAID THIS ..."BECAUSE YOU ARE THE ONE THAT WONT WORK WITH US AND WE DONT EVEN HAVE THE WASHER WE ARE SUPPOSE TO BE PAYING ON AND HAVE NOT HAD IT FOR WAY OVER A MONTH!"...HE WAS ABSOLUTELY RUDE AND I SIMPLY SAID FOR THEM TO COME ET IT AND I NEVER WANT TO DEAL WITH AARONS EVER AGIAN I ALSO TOLD HIM THAT I KNOW MANY PEOPLE PUBLICLY AND I WILL MAKE IT KNOW PUBLICLY HOW THEY DO BUSINESS AND HOW THEY TREAT GOD CUSTOMERS. I AM ALSO WRITING A LETTER TO THE EDITOR OF OUR NEWSPAPER IF I DONT HEAR BACK ON THIS ISSUE WITHIN THIS WEEK.
I have been dealing with Aaron's for yrs. I told them I had death in the family and the so called GM said well we still have to get paid. You pay your rent, lights, and water so make your payment here. Steve & Kim are the rudest people ever. I have never gone through anything like this before dealing with Aaron's. They have fired all of the old people and got new people. I personally think that they are prejudice. I will never deal with Aaron's again. this is a lesson learned!
Are payments are do on like on the 16th. Me and my wife gets paid every tWo weeks.It can be hard to budget. We get behind in are bills. Me and my wife goes into Aarons at the one in SaintPetersburgh fl. off of 34street near 30thave.n I tell the man, he looks like he might be from India, i didnt get his name, I tell him will make my payment on the 28th. He replies in a rude way when did you get paid last, I said the 15th. He rudely says why didnt you pay it than. st this point hes yelling at me, in front of a bunch of customers, the customers turned around and walked out. hes yelling at me telling me i am mean to his employees. I was shocked I am shocked.than shows me a paragraph he put in the computer about how rude i was in july. I HAVE NOT BEEN MEAN TO ANYONE. than he yells at me dont be late again or we are takeing your stuff. My wife is off in the astonished by the way he was acting she was almost in tears. after we got home she told me to call them to come get the tv. she said we shouldnt do business with them anymore. i called them the man says we cant do that, the manager decides. OH YA WE ONLY HAVE ONE AND A HALF PAYMENT ON ARE LAP TOP.
I am paying for a fridge that I purchased for my mother last year for Christmas ,ever since I have regretted it and believe me when I say Customer service on the Orange Blossom Trail store Mark is the manager(407)855-8500. My fridge door was stratched by on the there employees and when I requested to have it repaired they painted it with LIQUID PAPER ja to ther surprised that did not work. I spoke to some one in the regional office named Tony who told me that Mark would take care od the problem.It's been a nightmare ever month they take it upon themselves to call me at WORK and I cannot pick up well Mark said they were getting ready to pick up the fridge this is rediculous I am not refusing to pay in fact I can't wait to be done with your company frankly I hope you keep losing customers as far as I'm concerned I will make sure thru all social websites that my friends know about the way you treat your customers we deserve respect,just like you call for your money I have never refused to pay and by the way about not having any guarantee is another matter. RENT A CENTER has way better customer service than your company. I hope you get better people to manage you company. If we take the time to call and let you know when we will make the payment at least wait for the day an respect our jobs if we loose our jobs then how are we going to pay beside I know your not surposed to call us at work.
