12/24/11 I noticed Alittle Frost On My Food In The Freezer And Was Like Hmm Mabey It Was Opened To Much During The Day So I Turned It Up knowing it would take a 24hr change i waited , And By My Fucdking Surprise Everything In My Freezer Went Unthawed And Water All Over The Place From The Ice Cubes That Were Made Just Great Hundreds Of Dollars Of Meats Down The Drain And Brand New side By side Only 4 Months Old!!!!!!!!AArons and They Were Closed Yesterday 12/25/11 As I Would Completely Understand But Now Noone There Today And Everything Thawed And Started Turning Cause Freezer Is Warm, OMG I Dont Know What Imma Do Now! It Took Them A Month Just To Get Me What I Wanted Which Was The Side By side Because Im a fan Of Side By Sides And Dont Like The French Freezers And Now How Long To Figure Out Whats Wrong Besides I LOST EVERTHING..And You Know They Wont Replace The Food theyll Be Like Well Have A Repair Look At It Ok But What About The Meats???? That Shyt Is Expensive

I have been an Aarons customer for over 7 years and until May of this year had nothing but praise for their customer service. Last year I began doing serivce with Aarons store #C0545 on Hamilton Road, Columbus Ohio. In May of this year I rented a bedroom set along with a TV and blueray player. After the paperwork was completed I was informed that the headborad was not available, would need to be ordered, and I would have it in 2 weeks. I called the store 2 weeks later and every week for the next 2 months before I was able to speak to a manager in June that infomred me that the headboard was in back order and would not be shipped until July. Prior to speaking to that manager, I was told very rudely by store Manager Nick, that the headboard had not come in and they will call me when it does. In July, I returned the bed... On 12/01/11 I had a phone convesation with Nick, the store manager, and infomred him that I would be in that day to make my 11/15/11 payment. Nick informed me that since I had not come in by 11/30 I will have to make 1 1/2 payments to be able to keep the merchadise. I had 2 accounts that was pass due at the time. I informed Nick that I would be returning the merchadise of one account and bringing in the 1 1/2 payment for the 2nd account. Last Friday I went into the same store to rent a Toshiba Trive Tablet, I was infomred by Tami at counter that Nick had taken the payment I made to bring the one accont current and divided amongst the account I was closing ( and I had returned the merchadise). When I confronted Nick, he was rude as usual and went on to interpret the contract as saying that he could do what he wanted with the money received. Yes I became outraged and requested the corporate informaiton. At that time a man in the office intervined and informed me that he was corporate and refused to give me the corporate office information. After all this I paid what was claimed that I owed and inquired about the obtainng the Tablet. I was told that night that they have new Tablets in the store at that time. When I returned the following morning, Tami informed me that they only had a used Tablet left. When I was told that they had new Tablets in the back it was just before closing on 12/16/11, and I was the 1st customer 12/17/11. This store has the worst customer service, gives misleading information, and the employees are rude and tell lies to the customers!!!

I hope that anyone wishing to work for HomeSmart, a division of Aaron's, will think twice before making that commitment. I became a MT (manager trainee) in the middle part of the year.I spent the next few months spending 75% of my time delivering furniture and learning very little about the internal workings of the company--something that is imperative for a future manager to learn. As a result of my working on the delivery truck, I was injured not once, but twice. I hurt my right shoulder, reported it to my manager as required, but he did not file a report or send me to the doctor. I, knowing that we were short of personnel, continued to work with the hurt shoulder and hurt it more severely in October. This time, after I reported the injury and told my manager that I needed to go to the doctor, I was seen by a doctor and placed on "light duty." Exactly one week later, after inadvertently taking a payment from a client that CALLED IN to make a payment that was in bankruptcy, I was terminated. The kicker is that I have been diagnosed with a partial tear of my "rotator cuff" in my right shoulder. In other words, the injury was fairly severe and will, according to my orthopedic surgeon, probably require surgery. Now for the ultimate slap in the face--I cannot get another job since I am injured, I am unable to get unemployment because I am injured, and finally, I cannot get workmen's comp because Aaron's states that, "if I were still employed," they could accommodate my "light duty" status. I am right handed and cannot lift my arm above my shoulder without severe pain. How in the world can they accommodate that? Typing this is killing me. Therefore, I am in a Catch-22 situation with no hope of any change in the situation. Thanks HomeSmart and Aaron's for being so caring and "Merry Christmas."At least you may have one--my wife and I will not.

Today my wife and I who have been customers For seven years. decided to stop By the store for some Christmas shopping. But to our suprise with Christmas a weak away The store in Oceanside California, was closed at five o clock pm I was so shocked and Apalled when other stores are open until Eight, nine and even eleven pm at the mall Well I guess they aren't hurting for business I will just have to shop some where else that wants my money Lol!!!

My name is christina ive had the worst customer service ever in fairfield I really wantefd a 60 inch tv and they would tell me they were coming this day and that day and would never come. But they sure expected a payment which is no problem(which they said the day they delivered is when they would take the payment) but the fact was the tv was never delivered and everytime I called it was just another story after another.

In all openness I am an accounts manager (re: bill collector) with Aaron's (I will not say where....yet, for obvious reasons. :) ) This company (at least my region, and from what I read here I am not alone in this) is by far one of the WORST companies to work for. Everyday I get email's from my RM threatening me with my job because the "numbers" that we as CAMs are to get lowered are not going down fast enough for him and I refuse to break the Fair Debt and Collections Act to achieve those numbers. Oh and here is the kicker to it all I achieve the company percentage standards with the exception of one cycle but....he wants them lower so he can get his bonus all while 3 MONTHS AGO he promised me a raise that I never got. I am second in charge of the store behind the GM yet the MT under me MAKES MORE THAN ME and can not do the job which makes my job all the harder, yet I still get my job done, yet when the MT does not do his job I AM THE ONE WHO GETS THREATENED with my job and here is what makes me just laugh like a maniacal crazy man: I AM NOT ALLOWED TO EVEN WRITE THE MT UP or discipline them in any way. Believe me when I find something else (or my RM finally follows through and fires me) there will be hell to pay, I have dirt on this region that I am sure some federal lawyers would love to get a hold of. Just a taste: Agreements re-written so numbers could be closed; a re-write lowers payments (hahahahaha RIGHT!?!) by extending the number of payments in a lease. Ok great if the customer agrees with that. But 75-80% of the time the customer has no idea because we have had NO CONTACT with them for 40+ days. Yet, as my RM says: "Do anything to get your numbers down". With one actually email saying to do just what I said we did. Customers signatures routinely are forged. Yes; I am not lying, this happens at least 15-20 times a month. There will be much more to follow soon.....keep it here.

Aaron's is the worst store I have ever been to! I will never buy anything from there again! I bought a living room set. I was was about a week late with making a payment because they messed up with the date i requested to have my bill cycle start. Aarons workers came to my home banged on my door so loud my neighbors thought i had bounty hinters after me. Then as one of them bange on my door the other man who was with him felt the need to bang on all my windows. He banged so hard he broke my window. I called the store to complain and no one was helpful. Of course the employee who did it denied the whole thing and nothin was done. About 5 months later I asked to return the furniture because I was moving and no longer needed it and I was let go at my job and frankly couldn't afford it. I went into the store scheduled a pick up date n waited for hours at my house for them to show up. They finally show up and they would not take the couches, said there was bed bugs. I never had bed bugs before which leads me to believe they sold me a couch infested with bed bugs because the first thing they did was come into my house with a digital camera n cut the fabric off the bottom of the couch. Since then they have went into my vacant apartment took the couches without my prior knowledge and still continue to harass me. They show up at my new residence during any hours of the day or night demanding money for the couches they already have. They walk into the house if the door isn't locked... Threaten to garnish wages with out any attempt to contact me via phone or by mail. And last night they come to my house at about 6pm and threaten to garnish my wages. Thy have also called the people listed on my file as references and state they are going to issue warrants against me because I stole furniture... I did no such thing.... Aaron's in Plainfield NJ is a horrible excuse for a business. I will be calling the better business bureau today. They harass me n threaten me. I will tell everyone I can never to step foot in any Aaron's location. And I hope you guys go out of business!

The aarons store in malden ma is terrible in customer service. I rented a tv from them and the tv started gave me all types of problems which they refuse to fix or give me new one. The tv is shitty and the picture was horible. When came to the payments they persistent calling my cell phone fifteen times a day. I even had to call the corporate will didn't help at all.Now I am stuck with an overpaid crappy tv that doesnt work.

THEY HAVE WORKED WITH ME AND IT MOTIVATES ME TO BUILD A BUISNESS RELATIONSHIP WITH THIS COMPANY EMPLOYEES.I FEEL COMFORTABLE ENTERING AND EXITING THIS STORE.I LOVE THE ITEMS THEY SELL,ITEMS ARE ALWAYS IN GOOD CONDITION TO ME.HEY! WHEN I NEEDED THEM,THEY WERE THERE!I LIVE WITH A LOT OF PEOPLE AND I DO THE WASHING IN THE HOUSE.MY WASHER BROKE,I WAS BROKE AND A FRIEND TOLD ME TO GO TO AARON'S,I FIGURED THEY WOULD KILL MY POCKETS,BUT I WAS WRONG.EVERYTHING I'VE PURCHASED AT THIS STORE,I AM VERY SATISFIED.

Aarons isnt perfect... they do provde decent to acurate tim to repair or fix things but like others said before me things just dont happen in 2 seconds. lol but my fiancee works at Aarons and it is stressful when he calls people daily about missing payments and let m tell its around the 300 phone calls so those that get mad that theyre chasing you. If you paid your payment you wouldnt get people at your door or blowing up your phone. its like everyone elses job you have to do it and that is what my fiancee does. he works from 8am to almost 9pm 6 DAYS a week. His family misses him but he likes it he knows his customers as they know him That is amazing customer service.

I have nothing good to say about Aarons, they treat there employees with little respect. They prey on the proverty stricken Americans that have no other choices but to pay high interest rates. They charged a customer over $4,200.00 dollars for a $300.00 mattress that they repo then threw away instead of letting the elderly customer keep it. DO NOT SHOP AT AARON'S SAVE YOUR MONEY AND PAY SAME AS CASH IN 90 DAYS. Do not buy any furniture products they are cheap and do not last especially if you buy pre-leased. The Manager Lisa was a real witch and spoke down to her staff and called them names in public. I could never imagine working for a creature like that if they paid me! Austin Texas

I am a senior citizen residing on limited income in central Pennsylvania. Not only have I experienced extensive problems with Arrons in Coal Township, but as an advocate for consumers in complaints filed with the Federal Trade Commission, I am personally outraged by the deception and fraud practices of Aarons way of praying on people who can't afford to retain a lawyer to formally file complaints on both civil and criminal levels against Aarons. There contracts are a product of fraud as I have noticed in four parts. Some of the store locations will not provide the customer with a copy of the contract with signatures appearing on them. The customer service might as well not exist at all. I would invite those having problems with Aarons to contact me at 570-609-8800.

IN Rome, GA in the Gala Shopping Center there is an Aarons. It is a great store because of the hard-working delivery man named Jeremy. He has no help ansd sometimes he does not get home before 11 at night! There are others at the store that do nothing but sit around. There is an accountant that is tryin to get Jeremy fired and another guy. This is uncalled for. This accountant is one that does nothing. I do not undersatnd how Aaron's keep people that do not want to be TEAM players. Looks like all of them should be helping each other to make the store experience better. They would be great if they had the right people in charge!!!

This is the worlds worst company I purchased a sectional the dam thing broke before it was a year old they gave me a run around about fixing it so I returned it. I also had a fridge and it never made it past a few month before it broke they gave me another run around before picking the fridge up. It has been in the shop since the 15th of last month. I called around town and was told what was wrong with it and that it could be fixed easily but here it is 20 days later no phone call on progress unless I call them. What a joke!!! Poor customer service!!! I will never purchase anything from this company and tell everyone what a CRAP hole this place is!!!!!!! If you deal with the Longview Wa store your doomed before you get your merchandise and there so called JOKE of a manager Mike is no help! As for there piece of sh*t fridge they can shove it up there *ss!!!! I went out and purchased a new fridge today.

after dealing with aarons for five years i've hade trouble with the new mgr. my frige. went bad for the [3rd] time and now he wants me to pay more money for a replacement. i still owe money on other things but will no longer pay any money untillthe make good .. I will never deal with Aarons And hope you will take this as a warning. {GO TO A JUNK SHOP} IT"S THE SAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The AArons store in Horn Lake,Ms really suck their manger there has the worse communication skills I have ever seen they call and leave messages when my payment isn't due and then when i go into the store to make a payment they are so rude can't wait to pay them off they will never get anymore business from me

I WILL NEVER rent ANYTHING from Aarons again. They obviously don't like repeat business or take note in how their consumers feel. I've purchased a washer/dryer, a wii, just last year a freezer and a refridgerator. My refridgerator (BRAND NEW BLACK FRENCH DOOR) broke (Maytag relay switch issue, which Maytag knows about) and Aarons came to pick it up to have it serviced. Brian, the same guy who delivered the fridge to me brand new 12 months ago, came to pick it up and commented on how nice my fridge was. Well 2 MONTHS later when they finally got my fridge back in and had it delivered it was beat to hell and back. Dents in the door, scratches all over both doors and scratches on my freezer door. I called Maytag parts to find out the cost and it was going to cost $987 to replace the parts. I called Aarons and they said I could have the parts exchanged.....went to look at possible exchange and it was in 2x worse shape than mine and he said that was only a 5 month old unit. Who treats their stuff like that!!! I of course said no, so then they offered a discounted price on my fridge - not even close to one months payment. How can a company treat people like this????? That's right, they don't want repeat business. I am filing a complaint with the better business bureau and I am telling everyone I know about my experience and how they treated me. Be smart and run away FAST.

My experience with the Aarons store in Apopka, FL was fantastic. Though I did not purchase anything I rated their level of customer service an 11. I thought they were very thorough and went the extra 3 miles for me. Excellent customer service.
