aaron,s have very bads bussiness because i am rent a radio system

For the last 6 months, I have told the store that I had bedbugs in the box spring because they gave me a replacement for a broken box spring within the contract time, shown them the marks on my body and my children's bodies and they have failed to replace it or even attempt to reconcile the situation. We are now sick and have medical bills due to this oversight. Also, we have had the exterminator come to our house and advise us to dispose of the mattress and box spring. This is unacceptable business practice and I am planning on taking legal action as well as informing the appropriate authorities regarding your malicious treatment of customers and insufficient inspection techniques before delivering products. I pulled my business from Aaron's 2 months ago with an open account for a washer and dryer set that was sold to me used, broken, and then never fixed. Before, during and after that occurrence I let the store manager, Tyler Clemens, know of the issues and he ignored them, and told me to "F*ck myself". I'm not sure what business  you are in, but in my business that is disrespect.  I am completely disgusted with this business and the resolution techniques it fails to even attempt to utilize. You are putting people in danger and not to mention, costing impoverished families who rely on your type of availability for new furniture an enormous amount of emotional stress and money. I will expect a response in regards to this issue immediately. As I stated earlier, I will be contacting the authorities.

I bought a 57 inch screen Tv. From Arrons in Pell City Alabama. And before i finished paying for it, i moved. I requested to have my account transfered to the Store on Crestwood Blvd. in Birmingham Alabama. I had trouble with the sound cutting out and in, It was picked up an sent for repairs. When the tv was returned to my home, i noticed a tiny bright light shinning around the middle of the screen. After speaking with the store, they picked the tv up again and when it was returned to my home there were 2 lights shinning from the screen. When they picked it up this time it was in April of 2011. I paid the tv off in late April, or Early May 2011. It is now Early September, and i have repeatedly confronted the store about my TV. I have been constantly given the run around from store employees. It's either Daniel will helo you,or that company that fixes our stuff are slow and take their own good time in getting the merchandise back to us and we can't do anything about it, or Jamaine will help you, or you need to speak with Fran. About this matter, I have had no help, and just put off and things trying to get smothed over. After all the times that i've been put off,I spoke with Fran at the store when he was store manager, and was told that he was in contact with the company that fixes their tv's and told me that they, were trying to come up with a cost effective way to fix the TV. I didn't get a cost effective way of paying for it. I finally posted a complaint, on email re. the service. I finally received a call from Wally, that said he was a regional manager for Aarons, and after explianing the problem, and that i felt that the service was unacceptable, he agreed, and ask me to give him a few days to get this cleared up.It has now been about 2 weeks and no word from him until i spoke with Jamaine when i went into the store to pay my monthly payment on a fridge on the 4th. wednesday of August, that i bought from them. After speaking with Jamaine, Wally called my home and again stated he was calling about a problem that i had at the Eastwood store. I finally got in touch with "Wally again when he called my home on Thursday morning 01/1/2011. He stated that he was calling the Eastwood store and for me to wait and he would call me right back. I have waited all day for him to call and i finally caled him back and he was very disrespectful and stated to me that they had been very buisy and that he was calling the Eastwood Store and again for me to wait for him to call me back. He did call me in a few minutes and stated to me that Eastwood would be calling me in a few minutes to make arrangements to take care of the matter. I Also explained to him that if i don't hear by tomorrow morning, i will contact my arttorney. I bought a brand new riding lawnmower from that store, and when it was delivered it had hub caps missing, there were no books with it no paper work what so ever. and after dealing with them day after day, i finally had them pick it up. I have a brand new bedroom suit almost paid for that a drawer pull was missing when delivered, and it took me over 1 yeasr to receive the drawer pull, and when i would ask about it. i was laughed at just like it was a joke. As soon as i can find another fridge, you can bet this one will go back to the store, and i will finish paying for my bedroom suit, because i almost have it paid for and i will not loose the money that i've paid for it. but there will never be another thing from any Aaron's store come across my property line. The Personnel in the Pell City Store are worse than Eastwood.I have never been late with my payments and you would think that your company would take pride in selling to people that make their payments on a timely basis.I will not discuss my problems with another jack leg regional manager in the Birmingham area, because they have no tact, and do not know how to handle the situations. Wally,and Fran act as tho they are sooo much better than the customer but they best remember sales people like them are a dime per dozen. and if customers keep being treated in that manner, they will not have a job. I just hope that i can save some other poor person the trouble that i've been through. I'm 67 years old and i only want what i paid for, and nothing else. but i don't want to be treated like a piece of garbage. Again Buyer Beware of Aarons !!! you might get the merchandise, but the service is awful or better still there is no service. Just make you payment on time and don't bother them, and heaven help you don't ask them to change your payment date, cause they will tell you that they will, but before you are due, they will have a account manager call you and hound you for a payment that isn't due. because someone didn't do what they were suppose to do.

I purchased a laptop from one of your Tacoma,Washington stores. It was suppose to be brand new, in a box. when I got there to pick it up it had been taken out of the box and placed in a carrying case. I at that time expressed my concerns with the manager there who said this is what they have to do. He told me to let the computer charge for a full 24 hours. after which time I tried to set my laptop and the instructions that came with it was for a whole different computer. I wish the manger would have just left it in the box. he also told me I had a camera on the laptop HE LIED!!!

This place is the WORST! They rent/sell the cheapest junk that's out there. The "new" 42" flat screen that I got from them has the color messed up and I have YET to get a return call from them. They promise one thing and deliver JUNK like the products they sell! As far as the corporate office, well they like sending you on a goose chase.

i bought a furniture set from aarons and when the delivery guys bought the furniture one of the chair legs was broken when me and my husband had to unload the furniture out of the boxes cause the delivery men dropped it off and left which i found out that they were supposed to set up! when i callef the store to complain they said they would replace it and apologized but after a month no one came with the replacement! i called the store in oklahoma city to find out that they had fired the service mangaer (richard) who said he was sending some one out. Now i have been dealing with the cooperate office and still no resolution or call backs! very very angry with this company!

I have purchased several items from Aarons in gainesville, florida and i recently have a had a problem with a computer issue:::: so i took my computer in to the MANAGER and he sent it to HP like 2 weeks ago< he stated i will get it back n 3 to 5 business days...... Its now been 2 weeks and now my computer is lost from what he is stating. wow how does my computer get lost and he wont answer or return my calls. What cusromer service you have at Aarons. You need to teach customer service.

I am writing in regards to the reason I have stopped paying and returned Aarons merchandise. Mentor on the Lake, OH employee Adam, at Aarons in Mentor on the Lake, OH called my husband to find out when we could make our payment (we were 2 days late and always made the payment on Friday when I got paid). When Adam called, he asked for Willis Gaylo, my husband’s name is William Gallo. My husband assumed it was a telemarketer and told them they had the wrong number and hung up. He called back and asked for Willis Gaylo again, when my husband told him he had the wrong number again, Adam told him he was a liar and was going to come to his house and “beat his ass”. Now this isn’t our first rental from this store, it is our 3rd and everyone knows us in the store. I called the Regional manager and let him know that his employee physically threatened my husband. We later received a call from yet another employee from the store, Perry. He simply stated “you are a liar” and hung up. This is extremely unprofessional of a store as well-known as Aarons. The employees continued to harass my family- even going to the extreme of chasing my daughter in the car (she is learning to drive, and only has her temporary learner’s permit she is 15 1/2yrs old). Jaime chased her up and down side roads for 20 minutes. This scared her so much she went to the police station to get away from him. Is this what they pay their employees to do?? Maybe that is why their merchandise is so expensive- they hire people who can't read and people to drive around chasing minors.

I rented a sofa a few years ago, intending on purchasing the rest of the set when it was close to being paid off. They told me for a few week's that they had a few love seats in the store. I went there to be told they have been out of stock for over a year. That set was discontinued! They promised me the other piece, and let's just say I ended up selling the sofa & buying another set else where. I went back there thinking things would maybe be different. Bought a front load washer & dryer set. Love it!! Started having problems with the washer. It wouldn't spin the clothes out, and hardley ever used the fabric softener dispense.. I told them a couple times and they finally had someone come out to look at it. First he said I was using too much detergant, then he said I was using the wrong detergant, and left saying our water was too hard & not compatable!!! I called them back. I took a couple months before they came out to get it, to fix it. They did,and we just got it back after 3 1/2 weeks. We did an early pay out & put on additional insurance for another year... We got it back & it looks like it was put through the ringer...literally!! A huge dent on one side, very deep black gouge marks in 3-4 different places, and a really big one across the top of it. Two big stains on the inside and extremely dirty on the inside out. It was in perfect mint condition when they came out to get it. It was so bad, that my husband told them there must of been some mistake. That it couldn't be our washer.. The manager of the store was so rude to my husband, and basically told him they weren't going to do anything about it. We paid over a thousand dollars just for the washer..... I am going to do everything I have to do to get this dealt with. I am never going back, and I would never recommend anyone to go through them for anything. They want your money, and that's it! They don't want to fix anything or do anything to please their customer's. I have had enough.

got you all beat Rented a computer was told it was a tri core it turned out to be a duel core. we went to the store explained the situation and the guy said he never said no such thing. (plain out lies) even with 2 whitnesses 2 members of the staff insisted we was lying. I called the consumer protection act who in turn had me send a letter to Arrons in Belleville ont. so now its 2 months later arrons refuses to solve the issue and continues to harass us with calls threats of police and threat of entering out home to retrieve the computer. (like to see them try sense they was notified not to be on the property.) This computer stays in my posession till we reach an agreement end of story I encourage the rest of you to do the same fight back against these scammers

Why is it that when an employee has a work related grievance, the comment is never approved to be posted on this site?

Ive had an account with aarons since april of 2010. Ive gotten a living room bedroom 42 inch tv and a kitchen set...keep in mind everything used...i was paying 261 bi weekly til March of 2011, and i started paying 300 monthly...these people said i dont own none of the merchandise...so where did the money go..im going to get me a lawyer and set aarons to rest....a bunch of rip offs

My name could be quite relevant to my Regional Manager, which is why I will refuse to make it known at this point. Let me start by explaining my situation. I have been an employee at the above stated establishment for only six months and have managed to climb up the proverbial ladder from CSR to MT in a short four months. I now have my eye on a vacant CAM position at a soon to be opened location. I have ambition, to say the least. My current GM would disagree. After two months of silence, I believe it is only fair that I am given a moment by your corporate office to appreciate a good employee in the highest reguard. My Regional Manager has managed to create an excuse to terminate the last six employees who have openly stated that they filed a formal complaint against him/her. My GM works my CAM to near fatal levels in a godless and unforgiving environment (not to mention a hostile one, as well). As for myself, I do my best to accomplish what is asked of me, only to be reprimanded only minutes before ending a grueling 13 hour shift for something as petty as looking at my paystub, while still on the clock. As ridiculous as that sounds, it is only one of many attempts my GM has made to verbally harass me in the presence of other employees. He/she does it in such a manner that you could mistake them for a toddler throwing a temper tantrum. As humiliating as it is at times, I grin and bear it, even with the "slap in the face hourly wage" that I am ashamed I worked so diligently to earn. He/she has clearly assumed the position of "Bully" and, according to my CAM, I am his prime target. Because my GM and RM are on the same wavelength, I am in no position to file a formal complaint due to the previously stated problem with my Regional Manager. I was so excited for my future when I began my career at Aaron's. Now, because of poor choices made in electing managerial candidates, Aaron's is quickly becoming the bastard child of retail and lease to own in my book. Appreciate your faithful and hardworking employees, please or they could turn on you at any given moment.

So, I got a video camera about a month ago. I paid the initial charge that day, then got set up on my monthly payments. I called a week before my first payment was due, and did it right over the phone. I called 2 weeks later and told them for the next payment ill be doing the early buy out. Well they told me i would have to pay about $400!!!!!!! $400 after two payments of $58.. Sooooo they expect me to pay $516.00 for a video camera that is $239.00 at the most expensive stores?!?!?!?!? Get real... I called corporate and left a message for them to call me back because after two attempts to call the store they told me the manager was on a conference call.... AT 6:30pm?!?!?!?!? IF YOU DONT HAVE TO DO BUSINESS WITH AARONS....DONT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We live in New Castle Indiana. We went to aarons for a couch and a recliner and their movers wouldnt even attempt to bring the couch into our home they said it was to big. even though they have brought other couches like that to our apartment complex and they sponsor our apartment complex so they know what size couches can and cant fit in here. then our recliner broke 2 weeks later and they took it back but werent happy about it. so we agreed to go back in and pick a sectional. it took them almost a month to get us our couch and we had our first month free. 2 weeks after getting our couch we have been getting nonstop calls about our payment and the couch is a piece of crap. people in our family have also had bad problems with aarons. they are lazy and inconsiderate!

August 15, 2011 I have a complaint against the Takoma Park Aaron's, and their regional Manager, who had insulted my daughter today, due to a thief at her home. My daughter along with her child my grand daughter, was with my husband and I, as we were out of town for 48hrs. Upon return, her place was broken into and a number of items were stolen. She went to Aaron's to discuss a possible way to have a deduction on her bill until she can have the Washington DC police to complete their investigation. This so called Regional Manger, made comments to her that it could have been possible that she had the furniture removed and then came back into their store claiming thief. My daughter told him that the police report will not be available for 48hrs so that she can prove that she and her daughter were victims of a burglary. This manager then had the audacity to say that fake police reports can be done all the time. This is so absurd to indicate and make a judgment that my daughter would have done something like this. My daughter stated to him about she isn't at a financial level to replace the items and that she is waiting for the police report. She further stated that as poor person it would be difficult to replace the items. This manger made another judgment on her that she isn't poor, and that poor people wouldn't be able to afford to make payments. Two things, who gave this manager the right to judge my daughter, or anyone for that matter as to who is and isn't poor, and insulting her further by making such a repugnant suggestion that she could have had someway done this herself. If this is the kind person that Aaron's Rental Inc., hires, who obviously don't have the professionalism, to number one, be understanding of your customer's plight in a case like this, (and yes, she was up to date on her payments) and number two, to make statements that she could have done this deed herself, to me, needs to be reprimanded by this company, and he needs to apologized to her in writing. I will name this Regional Manager at this point, but I am forwarding a letter to the CEO, Mr. Ken Butler, in Atlanta, GA., ASAP. Plus, I will be conferring with a lawyer against this manager for deformation of character of my daughter. Aaron’s Rental Inc., need to be more selective as to who they hire.

I rented funiture from Aaron last year June 2010, I had an incident happen to me be-yound my control. Aaron came pick my funiture up all contract were still in-compliance. For three Months Aaron had my furniture at the store I payed for it for three months when I requested my furniture to be placed back in my home they had rented some of it out. For three mounths this store rented my funiture out and took full payment from me. When I received it back it was badly damaged. I never got my big Big screen Tv back and my dinning room set he ordered again but I cancel it because it would not fit in my kitchen area. He then made me pay for 32in tv starting all over again with payment and It got stolen which he never gave any credit for the one he rented out and told me he could not get back. I have tried to be up front and honest with this manager but he is not an honorable person. I feel he thinks I am his fool. I do not deal with people with mentalities as his. I request that I be paid a credit for his out and out dishonesty about my funiture being held secure when it was not even in the store but in some one elses home total disrespect......
