aarons has a habit of selling used merchandise as new. and charging the same price for the used items as they do for the new. My husband bought my stepdaughter a bed there they told him it was brand new when they delivered it the head board was not only cracked but had been filled in with wood glue and putty, i bought a stove from them they were suppposed to bring a brand new one out the one they delivered has been previously rented to someone else there were still crumbs in stuff in and yet then insisted on charging full price on both items

I have been renting from aarons in warner robins, ga. for 2 years, I paid my previous lease off and im paying on another. Ive always made my payments on time until this month i fell behind because of the holidays. An aarons employee named Chris called me at work harrassing me about my payment being late. I told him i have never been late before apologized and told him i was definatly going to be paying it thursday when i get payed making it aproxamatly 12 days late. He told me this was unaccaceptable and asked me why couldnt i pay it today? I told him I didnt have the money today. He kept on and on telling me it "unacceptable" to be even one day late even though ive never been late. All the while I was telling him i would pay it thursday and i had to go because i was tying up the phone line at work. Finally I say "all I can do is pay it thursday take it or leave it." He said if you want to play that game ill send the truck to your house right now. Really?!!!!!! He told me he would have to hold my credit card number or he would come pick it up. I hung up called right back someone else answered i asked for the manager and he told me it was fine if i payed it thursday but didnt seem to care how rude his employee was!!!!!! I am shocked at how rude this person was with me i have never had ANY bill collector treat me this badly!!!!!!!! Im seriously thinking about telling them to come get the stuff because of this!! THIS IS THE LAST THING I WILL EVER RENT FROM AARONS AND I WILL POST ON FACEBOOK AND EVERYWHERE ELSE AND TELL ALL OF MY FRIENDS NOT TO GO THERE!!! THIS EMPLOYEE WAS STRAIGHT MEAN TO ME! THE CALLS SHOULD BE RECORDED SO CORPERATE CAN HEAR HOW THESE EMPLOYEES TALK TO PEOPLE!

Canton , Texas Store (903) 567-7016 I have asked to speak to a head manager many times and told he's not there. I have asked for Aaron's, Inc Corporate number and they will not give it to me. There service manager is rude and never follow up on our service call I have had trouble with our Tv and they never came out lucky we was able to fix the problem. Now our washer is messing up and they want to send someone out 5pm not later then 7pm and she said she can't give and exact time I ask her if it would be like last time and she had no answer. Also we tell Jacob we will be in on the 25th of every month and he say okay but never make no note in the computer then he calls and say he forgot and this is every month. I am not happy with the service they our providing to us need to improve a lot

On 1/7/2012 Jacob from Aaron in Canton Texas brought out a loaner washer and they left went to wash clothes and it did not work and it dumped water all over my floor and then as they was moving it out the spilled the water in wash all over the floor and said I have to wait till Monday and they will come clean it up not happy after this i will never be and Aaron's customer again

Aarons in Santa Fe, NM is TERRIBLE!!!!! Dustin and Brook Hartman (regional Managers) are extremely RUDE!!!! I got asked by Mr. Hartman how come I just don't buy @ Colortyme??? Who does that?? I put in 3 complaints and NEVER got a call back. THe WORST customer service I have EVER encounterded. POOR POOR POOR service!!!

The store in Bainbridge, Ga. is so unprofessional. The employers do not know anything about their job occupations and they have poor work performances. You have to have a caring team in your business in order for your goals to get accomplished.This situation will not go unnoticed and it will bring much attention to your company because your employees are demonstrating unprofessional behaviors at the workplace. They cannot answer any questions pertaining to the merchandise that a customer has purchased. I have returned my amplifier numerous of times due to the reason that it keeps going out and I pay my payments on time. I told them that I am not going to pay any payments until I get a better amplifier that works. They have had my amplifier for four months and they still have not replaced it. As long as I was making my payments on time, they kept telling me that they would get one in and they never did. I decided that I was not going to give them any more of my payments until I receive my amplifier and as soon as stop making payments it was only one payment they came up with an amplifier. They called me and then said they were not going to give me the amplifier until I make that one payment and I said keep it because I have been paying my payments and you had that amplifier for four months and now you want me to pay another payment before i can get it, you are crazy.They said they would give me a free payment because I was so patient and waiting an the amplifier. The employee said he would remove some charges from my account and did not. They also told me that the equipment was no longer available for sales. I also purchased some speakers and they keep going out also and they fell off the truck I had them tied up and the police took pictures for proof they told me they could not replace even after the police wrote a report and took pictures for my proof and it was an accident on a highway. The police said that I had to take the report and show it to them but they were so rude and was not trying to listen. I just wanted the same speakers replaced and once again i do not miss any payments at all. I feel that I am customer who deserves customer satisfaction when it comes to my merchandise and making payments because I can take my business elsewhere and get treated better than that because your employees have a lot to learn about managing a business. They have nonprofessional attitudes and your profits are going to decline tremendously if you do not do something about this problem.The employers do not listen or communicate effectively when it comes to satisfying the customers their attitudes are unacceptable and are not good for this business.I would like some insight about this situation and I would like to know how long this problem is going to be in effect at your store location in Bainbridge. I am a very dissatisfied customer please help.

I went by a north portland store about a month ago been in there before, two employees were getting mighty frendly on one of the couchs in there, total nude BTW a employee Name amanda w? i think and a employee names Timathy dresses like a manager it was quite desturbing, is this part of policy?

THE STARKVILLE,MS MANAGER (BRANDY) IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST!! SHE IS RUDE TO EVERYONE, INCLUDING THE EMPLOYEES!! THE WHOLE TIME I WAS IN THERE SHE SAT AT HER LITTLE DESK AND PLAYED ON FACEBOOK. WHEN SHE DID GET UP IT WAS TO TELL EVERYONE OF WHAT THEY ARE DOING WORNG. SHE HAD POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS. I EVEN HEARD HER ASK ONE OF THE EMPLOYEES TO RUN AND DO HER A PERSONAL FAVOR (NOTHING TO DO WITH AARONS)...HOW CAN THIS KIND OF PERSON STILL BE ALLOWED TO MANAGE A STORE!! I WILL NEVER DEAL WITH HER AGAIN!!

I freaking hate aarons ! The store in casselberry fl have the most rude inconsiderate disgusting people working for them ! I have been paying on my furniture set for about a year started off paying good then I did run into some problems where I wasn't able to make a payment on the due date but made it up the next time I had got paid ! I always contact them and let them know my situation as many of you have mentioned but that isn't enuff for these people ! I had gotten pregnant and had a very difficult time with the pregnancy which caused me to miss work which of coursse leads to a smaller paycheck I explain this to them you think they care no way still got millions of phone calls and then they come to my house ! One manager chris calls me one day I was sick that day and he tells me he feels I should justy return some furniture if I'm having problems I'm like no way I've been paying all this time are you going to return the money that I paid hell no I told him he will get a payment when I get it since he wants to be nasty then he got disrespectful and said aren't pregnant so when u go on maternity how u going to pay for furniture I'm like excuse me thts not ur concern and reported him to corporate ! I did get a call apologizing on his behalf but tht wasn't enuff for me these people habe. The worse customer service skills and need to be reported not to mention I called and told them I was going to be having my baby so I may miss the next payment due to being in hospital and I swear the same day I got home witbh my newborn baby chris and steve were banging at my door at 8 pm that night hoe disrespectful can a person be I hate these people and can't wait to be done with them they make me sick ugh ! Never again !

Honesdale, PA-I was behind on my payments....I made an agreement with the manager to make a 230 dollar payment. I called and made that payment and stated I would catch it up the following week when my husband got his Christmas bonus. The manager told me he wanted my TV back. I stated I didn't think it was fair for him to take my TV back when my laptop was already locked until I made the payment. I told him I would gladly give the laptop back (it's my life since I go to school online) in place of the TV. He told me I could keep my laptop, but he wouldn't unlock it until he got the TV back. I asked Adam Marland for the corporate office number and he preceeded to tell me there was no corporate number and that nobody was over him he was the owner. I had my friend get the number for me and after I called and filed a complaint with the corporate office. Nobody ever contacted me back. Three days before I made the payment they came to unlock my computer and pick it up so I could get my school work off of it. The manager came out and stated that Adam Marland had told him to take the TV and laptop. I told them they needed to wait until my husband got home. My husband got home and we got Adam on the phone. He stood his ground he wanted the TV and computer. I told him he told me something different and he said he didn't care. He told me if I let him take everything I would be his highest priority for delivery and I could get my stuff back because of their lifetime guarentee and he would give me two weeks for free. He went ahead and took everything and the following week I called to make a payment. Adam stated what was going to happen was they were going to cancel out the contract so I loose all the late fees. They stated they would subtract the payments I had already made off the new contract, but they wanted me to pay a month in advance. I had no problem. I told them that was fine. Then Adam tells me I have to drive an hour away to sign the papers because he wanted to go over the papers face to face. I told him I couldn't because my husband works nights and he told me that was the only way I could get my stuff. My husband decided we would go and I called to get directions and that was when Adam had the manager tell me he didn't want to do business with me anymore. Now I'm without my stuff and out of all the money I put in because no other Aarons delivers to my house. Go figure! If you're thinking about going to Aarons....RUN RUN FAR AWAY. It's sad because I hate Rent-A-Center, but I was so happy to run back to them. I pay more money every month, but I have a better experience with them than I had with these ignorant people.

Well the store in aransas pass texas customers service sucks ass there crooks they lie to u and say they haven't recieved pymts there liars the so called manager went off on me over a pymt he states they didn't get my pymt my credit card says differently im reporting them for slander and treats will not stand for it period going to report them to upper management

I got a 60 inch TV and a Xbox from aaron. Recently it was stolen I gave them a police report and everything and there still harrashin me. Calling my family tell in them it wasn't stolen but they have a report. I will never deal with aarons again including all my friends and family

The following is the email I sent to Aaron's stating my complaint: I went into the Aarons in Waynesville,NC on December 21,2011 and signed up for your services by renting a recliner. I explained to the young lady that I wanted to pay every two weeks because that was how I got paid. She said that was not a problem, again when signing the final paperwork I told the gentleman that went over the pricing the same thing. Being paid every two weeks does not mean I get paid on the 1st and 15th the date varies. I went in today (exactly one day before my two weeks) from the date of purchase and was charged a late fee. When I inquired as to why, I was told I was due on the 1st. I told the gentleman behind the counter that I was on a bi-weekly setup due to my pay period and he informed me that it was bi-monthly or monthly only. I told him that it was not explained to me that way. I then came home and went over my contract and realized that when I paid on the 21st (the date the contract started) I paid a full bi-monthly amount of 24.73 when in fact, I did not have the recliner but 9 days before the second payment was actually due according to your bi-monthly terms. SO...not only did your representatives not listen to me the day I started but I paid for 6 days of use that I did not get. (1-15 and 15-30 is 15 days each period) I don't think that is fair. So, after my current term is up I will be having the local office come get the recliner. I refuse to pay 5.00 late fees every time my pay period does not coincide with your 1st and 15th bi-monthly payment schedule. I am surprised Aarons doesn't cater to all and offer bi-weekly payments as most get paid on that kind of schedule. And you can bet I will not recommend your company to anyone I know after this. I hope noone else out there has had to face this same situation but if you have,maybe if enough of us complain to the right person, something will be done.

We have been renting at Aaron's the last 8 years and the last 2 times we have rented there the store in speedway Indiana is the worst cust service I have ever dealt with in my life . They lie to you I will be letting my stuff go back and I promise me or any one of our friends will not rent thru them again. I have wrote to cust service about 5 times and never nothing they won't even give you a call back but let you be late one day and they call and hound the hell out of you. Never again will you get my business..

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN AT AARON’S HEAD OFFICE: I have been a valued customer(since Dec 3 2010-agrrement #9398) at one of your various stores(34 Weyman avenue New Rochelle NY,10805).However ,as recently I have’nt felt this sentiment DUE MOSTLY TO SOME VERY DESPICABLE ,and UNSAVORY BUSINESS practices of the staff at this location. I recently fell into some difficulties making my monthly obligation. I spoke to individuals (Joel and LOU) I explained that I could double my payment the next month or possibly finish the buy-out option. They both became very ignorant, belligerent and demanding the product I have invested into for so long at this point. He now sends two GOON like un-uniformed, unethical, unscrupulous, and nefarious individuals to my door unannounced late in the evening(after 7pm) TWICE!! Which proceed to pound on my door relentlessly(for hours) ,damaging my property and frightening my wife and two small children(ages 3 &4).She is severely traumatized by the whole experience which was recorded and caught on tape by neighbors. Surely this incident could have been handled more amicably. If these bad business practices continue, I will be forced report them to the BBB, and police (which some are in my family) and possibly seek litigation if necessary. The way I feel at this point I want pursue all three options with my evidence in hand. The manager at the store I deal with in Dayton Ohio is very rude, he gave me a lecture because he thought I was late.... I had made previous arrangments and was calling to pay my bill. He then told me " it was communication." Then proceded to say " whatever" several times when I did try to talk to him, when I asked for the nice lady who worked there he said he didnt know any, even though I spoke with her many times, when I asked " dont you know the name of your co workers?" he replied " no." I hung up and called back and spoke to a nice guy named Mike. But really, I am paying more ( a lot more) than what the product is worth and its been a year of payments in Febuary, this is an outrage since the price was orinally 200 dollars and the product isnt very good.

I am legally married to an abusive jerk. we have a fridge and i had a laptop from your hillsboro, Texas store. My (ex) husband was controling and would not let me work. I have paid all the bills from the same account for months. I left Monday, Dec. 19th, 2011 night, the same day that Don, the Aaron's manager from Hillsboro, Texas came to my house and picked up payment for my laptop. Friday before Chase, an employee made a deal with my husband for a free week because my computer wouldnt charge and had been down, a few hours later the truck came to bring me a new charger. on Wednesday, my ex went into the store saying only God knows what, told them I stolen his card, and they reversed my payment and had it put on his refridgerator. Texas is a community property state, and this is wrong. I will not handle this thru the Hillsboro store, and something must be done. The next step is handing all of this over to my attorney, and by the time he is finished, Aaron's will be paying me for this. I will just add this to the divorce property, and let it rip.

This is a copy of what I sent to the corporate office. Right now I am not pleased with the service: I am purchasing a refrigerator from one of your stores; I’ve had to call it in for repairs five (5) times in less than a year. I spoke with the manager on several times and today, I simply stated that I did not want another repair; I wanted to have the unit replaced as I just lost over $600 in grocery. The manager refused to give me his complete name and further stated that I did not need it. I have purchased almost everything in my home from your company and have always had excellent customer service until this refrigerator. My stove, TV, computer, games for kids, and furniture are all great. Obviously the refrigerator has a defect. When I asked the manager if I should contact the manufacturer, he said that I could find the number on line or buy another one. I’m not one to argue, so I said fine and good bye. I must say that I am disappointed with how rude I was treated by the employee; he was quite rude and a bit disrespectful. I will continue to make my payments; however, I am seeking legal representation for replacement of the refrigerator as well has the money that I have lost on grocery. Your manager says that it is not his problem- maybe not; the courts can make that determination. Thank you for your time.

I have rented and purchased from aarons I would have to say they have worked with us in the passed. but asked if i could make 1/2 payment one week then make up the rest the following week they would not except witch is ok with me i can go buy a washer/dryer outright for 500 instead of owing 1500 ya im out 1,700 but im done with the rental bs aarons could have worked with me.(Franklin,Indiana store)
