I was renting items from the Portage Indiana store for a year..As with alot of people these days I fell on hard times and couldnt make my payments.They showed up at 7:15 p.m and when my son came back to my room to tell me they were here they walked into my home..uninvited.I gave the computer to my son to carry up to them and told him to let them in the garage to get the washer and dryer which were already unhooked and waiting for them.They then said the were taking my tv as well and when I went to go into my other sleeping sons room to get it the employee tried walking into his room.I told him to back off and leave my house..they refused..I opened my front door and told them they needed to get out of my house now and they refused again.My kids were there and my 2 grandchildren ages 1 and a half and 4 days old were there as well..Terrible world we live in when people think they can enter your home without your permission and refuse to leave it.This was after they had received all but a box spring and mattress back.DO NOT go to this store...Horrible people with no regards for the law or people.I will be talking to an attorney about this matter because they are lines they cant cross and Im pretty sure home invasion is one of them.I guess theyve never heard of the Fair Debt Collection Act.Oh and the regional manager tried to make excuses for their actions

I went to buy a tv and stand at aarons rental and was told they would be delivering it today if I got there before closing, well I did and the salesman caroline, lied and told the manager who was off that I was picking the tv up and delivering it myself which was a lie, the manager said he had to check references and employement and proof of residence. I have purchased before and never had a problem with the staff or management, the manager would not let me take the tv out the door because of this lie. This company is a joke , I am a paying customer with cash in hand, I do not appreciate this nor will I do busines with you jokers again.

I got a preferred customer status paidoff exsisting bill to make a deal on a washer & dryer set 3 weeks ago an still nothing poor manag ement in liberty texas.

Killer Customer Service.. literally. after filing a complaint with the district manager due to one of the employees at the store in brockton massachusetts texting me from his personal cell calling me a thief because we were less than 2 weeks late on a SINGLE payment, ive now had to file criminal charges and go after a restraining order because the aforementioned employee went beserk over my complaint and started once again sending me texts threatoning me and my family! Avoid this company at ALL COSTS!!!

I rented a washer/dryer from a store at Charleston & nellis in Las vegas for one yr. called to have them pick it up end of month.. the first they took a payment out of my bank account & claim they,re sorry & sent me a refund. called twice & assured the refund has been sent .. called the bank & they have never received it & today,s the 10th!!!!!! I,m taking them to small claims court as this is theft!!!

I was a fairly new customer just a little over two months. I was four days late on a payment for a USED living room set but spoke to the manager on monday and he said he would give me until that friday to pay. so anyway it was wensday, I was washing some dishes because my 3 young children and myself had just finished eating lunch and i hear the loudest pounding at my door. thinking nothing of it i finished rinsing the dish off in my hand. I had all intention in awnsering the door until AGAIN loud pounding at my door so thinking quickly i pick up phone to record everything, then came the rude comments and non stop pounding, so hard that my house was shaking. after a couple of min he went to my window and pounded so hard he broke it! I was sooo shocked I called the police. I live in buffalo ny ( but rented from the cheektowaga ny location due to better merch) so they took about a half hour to get there witched seemed forever! once they arrived I said they can have their stuff but i wanted him away from my home but was told by the police officer (a female) that i should be more worried about making a good impression for my children by paying my bills then the broken window and how she was not arresting him after what he did because i should have just opened the door. I wish i could post the video! ten min later the manager himself showed up apologized and said the boy had only been with the comp for three weeks, repalced my window and left! WHAT KIND OF TRAINING DO THEESE PEOPLE GET!?!?!?!?!

A friend of mine bought a bunk bed set from the local Aarons and the mattress had bed bugs in it. They called the Aarons store and told them the exterminator told them where the bugs came from and the store said that it was not their problem. She ask for the headquarters for Aarons phone number and they told her they was not allowed to give that number out. I was just about to go there and buy a new living room suit and bed room suit. Not going to happen now ! At least not from Aarons. Where has customer service gone to in this world !

Ive been asking aarons at 74th and penn store in okc to pick up their furniture for 2 weeks and they have not picked it up.They have however called to collect their payment.During this one year rental agentleman named Oscar that worked for them and called me a liar.

I have applied for Aarons in Orange park FL. I did two interviews with them and passed the drug test. My background is all Mis barely a history and there is no bad charges at all. It took one month for them to get my background check back..I called every single day and when they did, I thought everything was good because I passed everything else, I have worked recently and they told me I couldnt be hired and they didnt know why....so after waiting forever and being lied to me they couldnt tell me why I could NOT be hired....I think discrimination maybe? I even have my G.E.D. I have 2 children to help raise. They should have not done me so wrong like that. There words, "Sorry something came back, we dont know what it is, but you cannot be hired, Bye." That was it so rude!!!

i rented from aarons of danville ky and they will harrase you the moment you say you cannot pay them the people working their are nice people so far ive not had any one talk down to me nor will i allow it but i have since moved and took the furniture with me however i will not be harrased i know my rights and the girl that works there is friends with my son and she said there is nothing they can do besides take you to small claims court and the judge will then advise them that its just like a credit card they must put it on your credit report and even if they take you to court they can only file it in small claims court and you do not have to appear in which the judge will dismiss the case letting them know they have to file it on your credit report i mean if i could pay it i would but if a person is going thru hard time it dont hurt to listen and understand every body goes thru hard times,

i got a living room suit from aarons and was late on 2 payments ive never been so harrased since i stopped renting from rent a center i dont know who is worst id say its about the same then again idk rent a center sent someone to knock at the door at my house while they stood round the corner when i came out he popped up we exchanged words and the girl that knocked took off later she said she was so scared i said they shouldve been held accountable for that she was a minor and it wasnt her place to come knock on mh door

i got a computer from aarons in port st lucie fla first the computer malfunctioned twice the third time i returned it an demanded another brand new out of the box i was told my paynebt was due on the 4th of each month on the 2 of the next month at 0830 am i got a cal from awoman named tanya in accounts asking for my payment areturn call got me to a person who spoke alot of nonsense a third call and the manager promised a apology from tanya and a correction in the due date tanya denied any guiult at all and blamed it on the manager the organization at the store is in complete dissarray i was never so insulted except at a shade tree used car lot so tanya in accounting you should be out cleaning windows it is more in line with your job skills

I RENTED A TABLE AND 6 CHSIRS FROM THE EAST ALTON IL AARONS. IT WAS A USED TABLE THAT SAT OUTSIDE WITH ONLY 3 CHAIRS. THE HIGH PRESSURE SALESMAN TOLD ME IT COMES WITH 6 CHAIRS AND I ASKED HIM WHAT KIND OF SHAPE THEY WERE IN AND HE SAID ORETTY MUCH THE SAMES AS THE THREE THAT WERE DISPLAYED, I SAID THAT WOULD BE FINE, AND THEN I ASKED IF THEY WERE GOING TO CLEAN THE SET UP BEFORE THEY BROUGHT IT AND HE SAID MOST DEFINITLY. SO WE DREW UP THE CONTRACT AND THE DELIVER ON SAT. MY HUSBAND RECIEVES THE FURNITURE AND IS LIVID THAT I WOULD BUY SOMETHING LIKE THAT. NOT ONLY DO THE OTHER 3 CHAIRS HAVE SOME LITTLE RIPS BUT THEY WERE ALL CHEWED UP. AND THEY DID NOT CLEAN UP ANY OF THE FURNITURE. I WAS PULLING THICK BLACK CHUNCKS OF OLD MOLDY FOID OUT OF THE CUSHIONS. EVERYTHING WAS DUSTY AND DIRTY. I CLEANED THE FURNITURE BECAUSE THEIR STORE HAD ALREADY CLOSED, AND FORGOT TO CALL SND COMPLAIN ON MONDAY, SO WHEN MY PAYMENT CAME DUE ON THE 1ST OF OCTOBER, I TALKED TO THE MANAGER ABOUT THE CONDITION OF MY FURNITURE AND HE WAS RUDE TO ME AND SAID HE COULD PICK IT UP IF I WOULD LIKE. SO OF COARSE I WOULD SAY EXCUSE ME, I DIDNT WANT IT PICKED UP TIL YOU WERE SO DISRESPECTFUL TO ME, SO I TOLD HIM TO COME GET IT. I JUST WANT TO SAY, IF YOUR GOING TO SELL YARD SALE QUALITY FURNITURE, YOU SHOULD CHSRGE YARDSALE PRICES. WORST PLACE TO RENT FROM. WOULD NEVER GO BACK OR RENT FROM AGAIN.

I have been a customer for 7 years today i got in to give them a post dated check for the following friday when we get paid i dont mind the late fees thats understand able but the mentor on the lake store in ohio this new lady manager whos only there till novemeber made me feel terrible for being late said im always late i shouldnt have the payment i have because apparently i cant afford it.(which has nothing to do with it the problem is if the due date falls near my paydate or not ) well right now im due on the 1st which is hard i have rent, car payment feed my kids etc. all previous management always worked with me and made me feel like no matter my situation that they would make sure i could pay my bill. ive paid off many things from there and in fact just paid off something last month yes i have a tendency to be late but at least i pay for my stuff, this lady told me if i pay again late with a post dated check that she stated "better be good" that she will even post notices on my door as well as the late fees, ive never felt so bad about myself ever and once my agreements are paid off most likely wont go in there again like i said 7 years ive paid the same way and never been treated so bad i left today feeling like i was going to cry guess next month ill pay 400 some odd dollars to get to the 15th just so im not a few days late or else im gonna get severly punished by this lady with fees and notices and not being able to have any other agreements because she thinks i cant afford it.

I have been informed that the General Manager at the Aarons in Opelousas,LA took a washer and dryer set to his home used it and brought it back to store and listed it as a new item. I am reporting this to corporate and if soemthing is not done I will report it to the media.

im writing about the aarons in jonesboro arkansas off nettleton street. So i rented a new bed from aarons very nice a little expensive but not to bad i like the set its very nice. Well the day they were suppose to bring it i went on ahead and got everything out of the room so it was completely empty and easier for them to bring in and put together. They said they would be there between 3-5 didnt arrive til 6 but any how as i was waiting i had my phone charging in this empty room i heard them knocking on the door so i grabbed my phone put it in my pocket left my charger pluged in the wall in this empty room. i let them they bring in the stuff get it put together they leave so i go to put my phone back on the charger and my charger is nowhere to be found it only took them maybe 20 minutes to get done and i was the only one there. Now i know its just a charger not a big deal but there is no since on having to worry about someone taking your belongings when in that kind of buisness.

i just got an hp laptop that comes with the dr dre beats headphones..and aarons in waterbury ct sold me counterfeit headphones.. 10 dollar headphones that they try to pass off as real.. im being charged 324 dollars over the next year along with the 1200 for the laptop.. how do they get away with selling counterfeit merchandise???

I am writting about the store in Des Moines Iowa on se 14th street. They sold my husband a bed that was full of bed bugs. The first night i slept in it I got bit all over my body. the doctors told me if i had not gotten up when i did it could have killed me. He said not only was i allergic to the bugs that bit me but also something that went into the making of the bed. I feel that i should be componsated for all the pain and suffering that it put me through. I have been on antibotics sense Feburary 2012 when we bought the bed. I have just gotten well. When we called and told them we were cused and told we just did not want the bed. Then when we called back the second time they came out and sprayed after a proffessional had already came and sprayed and said that was all they could do. So we are paying for a bed that i can not sleep on. But not just that my husband is in forth stage cancer and he was getting bit also that was causing him even more trouble. My payment is due on the 15th of the month, and the month is not over. Aarons called on the 15th and i stated to them that i would be late thos month, but this rude customer service rep name reka in albany ga swear, they have to call or come by my house untill i make a paymeny. I just had my 2 year old neice killed, so we all pitched in to help my sister with funeral expense. Shr states thats not her fault and ask again when will i been in to pay. Before i knew it i said f*** u and hung up on her. Remind you i am a qualified manager who has applied for aarons, but when you go in there store they have the ruddest people in customer service. I think i will sit therw washer and dryer out the door so they dont knock on mine any more!! Going back to sears, they were a last minute call.
