i started doing buisness with store #f378 on 82nd ave in Portland,Or. about 3 years ago. In that time i have been physically threatened ona city sidewalk by one employee, had nothing but hassles over equipment repairs recieved not as promised equipment they lowered the price on my tv after saying that they couldnt get the tv anymore but keep adding payments i was told with the reduction that it would be paid off in 6 months that was a year ago they keep making excuses as to what the payment is and cannot explain where the additional charges derive from the management team is horrid the crew ( for the most part is horrid with a few exceptions ) and the service and quality of customer care blows chunks.

Beware

I rented a chair and TV from Aaron September 2011 and was making regular payments on my account until August 2012 when I missed a payment do to an Internal problems/situation that accured which I will not disclosed at this time; adjustments were made. But from this point on I have been harassed daily regarding my payment if it a few days late after I made arrangments on the payment the calls continue throughout the day, even after the payment is made the automation system calls me daily. I am fed up with the harassment. I have been treated with no respect from management they had contact my job and a note was left on my desk after I told them this is not acceptable to tell my supervisor who and where they were calling from; They denied the call and I listened to the tape of the conversation. I am to the point of no return. Never again will I ever be put in this position again.

Billing

I've been renting with the Durham, NC. store never missed a payment in fact I've been paying $20 dollars more a month for a year and when I said I wouldn't have the payment this month but I'll double it up next month they got real arrogant telling me we don't operate like this so then I suggested I pay you more a month than I'm supposed to and that up I'm sure I'm ahead an affiliate told me just pay $20 dollars and you'll be caught up the monthly bill was do on the 15th of the month now I'm getting harassing phone calls saying I'm not current and I was miss inform and now you have to pay on the 1st not the 15th how can you change my contract and it's legally binding and where is all that payment of $20 dollars more a month?

bad buisness

i called to try to work out a payment. they told me my payment was $38, then when i got there they told me it would be $46. i got mad and argued. magnager was rude. he said this is my store, and that i should be making a full payment. i told him you are just an employee. its people like you that keep a buisness like this going.

worst buisness ever

i went to the arons store , and i got a new laptop, but when i got home to use it it wouldnt turn on, so i called and they told me that i was lying. i took it over there and showed them. they said they couldnt do nothing about it. i got mad and asked for a refund. they told me they were not going to give me one. so i got mad and left i threw the laptop on the floor.

do not rent from here!

I've been renting two TVs a bedroom set and mattresses from aeronautical for almost two years making steady payments..I rent from your store on n shephard in Houston TX wich by the way I find out is supposed to be a corporate store ..LOL ya right! They allowed someone to rent couches in my name with out permission and then as I am out of town at a funeral my roommate calls to see how much the payment is so she can go pay it...they wouldn't give her the total without my permission but guaranteed they surely took multiple payment from her many times before but can't tell her how much it is?? U weren't worried about that when couches were rented out in my name without permission! I went into the store and arranged for them to come pick up everything and they failed to do so...well their store mgrs or whoever she claims to be her name is Chrissy I feel so sorry for anyone who has to deal with this girl...she's got.the worst attitude and has no ppl skills at all...she calls my job and gets an attitude with my Co workers and also told them that I owe a payment blah blah blah everything she's not allowed by law to say...what do I owe a payment for when u were told to pick it.up??!! I'm so done with these ppl they are nothing but a joke!

BAD BUSINESS

This is the worst rent to own company EVER!!!! My mother in law was buying a washer and dryer set and a bedroom set, the bed broke and the washer quit working, they did not fix either and when my brother in law tried to fix the washer (which didn't work) and my mom told them about it they now say that that voided the warranty but they never attempted to try and fix the thing. I bought a fridge (side by side) and it don't have all the drawers in the doors and they've told me that they were getting them for me,well thats been over a year now and now they're just rude about the whole thing. I'd go to any other place before I'd consider Aarons for anything,PERIOD...Thier customer service is nowhere to be found,thier business ethics absolutely blow and they're dishonest as all get out. Gatesville Texas 315 S HWY 36 is the stores address so don't go there to get anything or you might as well just flush your money down the toilet.

Horrible customer service

I'm leasing furniture from Aaron's in Frederick maryland. The customer service there is terrible, when I sign my contract I was asked when I want it my bill pay the first or the fifteen of each month and I told them the fifteen, but every first of the month we got numerous phone call to us( my husband and I) and my references; expressing rude remarks. After I finish paying them would never work with Aaron's again. They also sent me a broken glass table they promise to replace and haven't done so for over a year now. Never again. Run away from this.

Dryer-used-paid cash

I brought a used dryer from Aaron in Fayetteville, NC, I was told that it was in good working condition. I opt to pay someone to deliver the dryer the 3.5 miles to my home vs paying Aaron $30 dollars and waiting 3 days. I washed a load of bedding and put them into the dryer and it sounded like a very loud chain saw going off. I called the store and they picked up the dryer and credit me what I paid for the dryer, however, I am out of the money I paid for someone to pick up the dryer, not to mention a load of wet clothes and a waste of time, which I didn't have.to waste all because they wanted to sell a piece of junk.

screwed over

We originally rented a washer/dryer from Aarons-Wooster Ohio-it was used and we got a discount on the price which I thought was great until we found they could not be delivered right away (finally was 3 days later) and it would not spin out the first load of a mountain of laundry that had piled up while I had waited for the set to be delivered (7 ppl-laundry piles up fast!) plus the washer emitted a rotting moldy smell-we called to get a new set in the same color and was told it would be 1-2 weeks IF they could get them! We told them to come and get their washer/dryer-we would go elsewhere to buy a set. 3 days later i told them I was going to pick up my new washer/dryer and that i was setting their set on the porch if they didnt come and get them-I went to Sears where i purchased my set-came home w/them and they still weren't there to get their nasty set-they showed up later that evening after i told them my husband was home at 5pm and he would be putting them on the porch! They were not happy, but they did come and get them...finally....We did like a cpl of the ppl in Aarons and we went back to purchase a living room set-beautiful sectional, end tables, lamps, and area rug-almost $2000.00 total. We payed off the balance may 2011-we had a 1 yr warranty on the couch-we noticed a little flacking of the bonded leather-my husband said no big deal-by august almost half of the couch was flaked off! All we got from Aarons and Simmons was a "Sorry, you are out of warranty"-yeah..by 21/2-3 months! Really?!! If we had rented this out full-term it would have just been pd off this month-we just spent $1500.00 on a sectional that is a piece of junk! I will not be buying from Simmons/Aarons again unless this is resolved...Utube, twitter, facebook here I come!

Customer relations

I tried to do business with the Aaron's here in Dallas on Camp Wisdom the company delivermen were cussing and just rude , lost the screws to the bed ,didn't have the screws to to mirror and refused to call the manger as he directed them to do so the bedroom suite was returned don't think they would have acted this way had it been in a white neighborhood . So I took my business elsewhere.

Bad customer service

I have been doing buisness with Aarons out of New London on colman st for 5-6 years i have rented and paid off 2 tvs a bed and im paying on a 3rd tv! During which time i was never late never missed a payment.. About a year ago i had a hardship a for a period of 3 months i was late making payments! I got the tv im paying on since that yet was refused a rental today due to the 3 months out of 5 years of perfect payments! The mamagers are rude have no skills in customer service and upon looking over my original agreement n reciepts theyve been over charging me n no one seens to understand why or want to do anything about looking into it! I dont care how far i have to go newspapers if i dont get help i wont stop till im heard

Do not rent anything

My daughter and son-in-law paid over a yr for a refrigerator. It went out. They called to get it fixed. It was picked up and a piece of junk was given to them to use while it was being fixed. It took over 3 wks to be fixed, the piece of junk wouldn't keep the milk cold, and when they brought the original one back it was dented and mildewed. It quit again in one week. They were told they still had another $1300 to pay on it. Now mind you it was a standard refrigerator, nothing elaborate. Now they say that they can pay an early pay off of over $500, but it won't be fixed. The interest rate is 50%. This is highway robbery. Never, ever, let someone rent from them. Sulphur, La.

Not Good

We purchased a $5000 television and it was paid in full and under warranty. The tv quit working and it was picked up under warranty. For 6 months we were told it was different parts and they were getting it fixed. It has since been admitted that our tv was fix and sold to another customer. Aaron's has made no effort to correct this wrong.

HORRID

We were at first very happy with our furniture but when it started to break down is when our problems started (keep in mind we had the couch 4 months. They offered to re-stuff the cushions in the lower back and butt. They had our couch for 2 weeks!!! when it was brought back only the lower back had been done and they claimed to fix some springs but I doubt it. When our couch was finally returned not only did they not do what they promised BUT ripped a 3 inch hole in leather covering the back we called them back to tell them about it said they would call back tomorrow. We gave them a few days and called back . . . and were then informed the manager was out and would call us back next week. A week and a half later we called (today) and told them we were done to come pick their crap up WELL they told us we owed one more month uhhhhh excuse me! They had told us a 3 month minimum! Well make sure you read EVERYTHING and ask EVERYTHING (in fact just DON'T go there) 3 month minimum is with a 12 month agreement and 6 months for the 24 month agreement! AARONS STINKS!!! They will NEVER EVER get our business or any of my family's business again.

After months of waiting Aarons has not reported that I paid of my purchase from them to my credit. Come to find out that if you pay your bills on time and do everything as agreed you still loose out. The only reason I made this purchase through them was to boost my credit score but they can not take care of this because they are incompetent.$2000 later they are not holding true to their word! Thank you Aarons for letting me know to never make another purchase from you! And I will be sure to never refer any one else to you!

I really love to know when you guys are going to start a contract with Apple Products because it would be a great way to work a business plan with them so customer's that would love to have an Apple computer or an Apple Laptop or what ever it would be would be nice to have. I have been renting furniture from you for over a year. I have never missed a payment and i really like the furniture. I went in to your Charlotte /Huntersville office to payoff my bill but was refused by the manager because I was writing a check. She statedd that you do not allow someone to payoff funiture with a check because I could cancel the check.I felt that she said this because of my color and nothing more. I have never been to a store that refuse a payment. If this is your policy, it is a bit confusing because i have paid several times with a check and it has never been a problem. I felt like the manager made up the rule just for me. I was considering doing more business with your company but not anymore. I really feel if you are going to hire people to manage your stores they should not be allowed to change the rules based on there own beliefs. They should stick to the policy. Not good for business.

I bought a living room set at stor in Virginia 700 j Clyde Morris ,at the I bought dining room set, one of the dinner chaired were damage ,it was replaced the living pillow was defected I complained I was promised six time I would get a replacement by Greg ,Shannon never gotten my replacement ,after calling a year n a half Shannon the manager told me the furniture has been discontinued and there was nothen he could do this is store# 0839 I call corporate office and gotten justice they were very upset to here about the poor service that was given to a costumer I wasg given great service after contacting the top dog

I bought a mattress from Aarons in Blythe Ca and it was INFESTED with bed bugs.I mean infested.Hundreds of them came out from mattress and box spring at 3am when my son was sleeping.It has cost me hundreds of $$$ to finally get rid of them.I talk to Aarons who are usually very friendly and all they did was look down at the desk and deny it.They wouldnt even look at me in the face.Im going to take this to corporate or the local news if I have to.
