Refused Service

I called Aarons yesterday, and gave them all the information needed to aquire the product I desired and was told all I needed to do was to come in the next day, today went in to sign the paperwork and they had lost it. When I walked in I approached the man I assumed was the manager and he told me to go to the counter and wait while he and several employees were talking about arranging the furniture in the store. All in all after that and refilling the paperwork I had been in the store for over an hour just to be refused service because I am an orphan. I have no family and they told me because I don't I cannot buy the laptop I wanted. I had told them this over the phone and when I was redoing the paper work, told several times that was alright, just to be refused in the end. Then they had the nerve to say I didn't waste my time because I learned something today. The lesson, We don't serve orphans here, and we don't care if that offends you.

I have dealth with Aarons for 8 years, in the last 6 mlonths at the Josey lane store in Farmers branch I have talked to the rudest young ladies and have chosen to never do business with them again. I find it appauling and disrespectful to be talked to the way I do, especially since I have given them all my time, business, and not to mention money. I filed a complaint with the corp office never to hear from them

poor service

I ordered a living room set. When they delivered it, they ripped it. I called the store to let them know. They said they would repair it. They sent a guy to fix it. I called them back and said I wanted a discount or a new set. I won't pay full price for damaged items. They said it would be about 2 weeks till the new set came in. It took me calling them back after 3 weeks to find out it was in. I decided that I didn't want to deal with them anymore and asked them to pick up the living room set. They gave me a 7 hour window when they could pick it up. They called me and said they were running behind. So who knows when they will be here. The service in this store (Mishawaka, IN) is the worst I have seen. This is not the first Aaron's I have dealt with.

Dissatisified with service

To whom it may concern: I am writing to complain about the services or lack there of during my interactions with your store personnel (Aaron's locatied on J. Clyde Morris Bld., in Newport News, VA). I purchased a recliner, and I had difficulty getting the part that I needed for several months. I made my last payment, and I received a call from a representative on this date, indicating that I still owed one more payment. The represtative reported that I should have received a certificate at the time of my last payment, which I never received. I now have to be inconvenienced abd go back through old receipts to prove that I made my final payment approximately one to two months ago. I regret ever doing business with your company. Trying 2 rip ppl off bad service

I've been using Aaron's 4 several years now, & always pay on time. I had 2 have my phone # changed & refuse 2 give it 2 them, cuz they would call at 8:00AM, asking was I going 2 make a payment, on the day it was due & the store don't even open till 10:AM... My husband went in today, 2 make a payment on our debit card, They took double the amount out & say they will put it back on my card, but may take up to 48 hours 2 process, when they took it out immediantly.. I need that money in my bank 2 pay another bill by 5:00 PM today... The guy who did it, put the blame on my husband not knowing what he was doing & he has been doing it 4 many years.. The guy wouldn't admit he made a mistake & then argued with me on the phone & refused 2 let me speak 2 the manager... I am really thinking of giving them their stuff back & going 2 rent a center R some other place... A employee should never argue with the coustomer... We've never see the guy there B4..All this is very poor service, & I see from the comments I'm not the only 1 with problems.. BEWARE OF AARON'S

Worst Customer Service

I have used Aaron's for the past 6 years. The first time I rented the delivery guys damaged my refrigerator it took them 3 months to work out a discount since it was their fault and they didn't want to take it back. Then 2012 I started an agreement for a laptop. I made all my payments on time except the last one because I had another agreement I started in November 2012 and Aaron's was running a special in December for no payments as their Christmas gifts to their customers. I made a payment in December without being aware until after I gave the associate my payment info and he said I didn't owe another payment till February. In January they started blowing up my phone saying I was delinquent. I spoke to the Manager and he said he would take care of it. We are almost into March and now he is telling me that I am still delinquent it was my fault. Save yourself some frustration and steer clear of Aaron's. I will be taking back my laptop from my third agreement and be done with them!

19th Street Store Lubbock

I am a disabled retiree and I have been busy with Aaron's for years. I have a personal assistant that goes in makes my payments for me as I am non-ambulatory. There is an employee, bald headed white man that obviously has no people skills, refuses payment from my assistant.I spoke to the store manager after I had to go in personally and complain ab out this. The store manager gave me his personal cell and said that I could call that number and he would come out and take my payment personally. Today I will go and do that but this individual employee should be terminated. I know this is the absolutely the last time that I am doing business with any Aaron's no matter of location. My assistant is a very pleasant person with a bug heart but he will not take verbal abuse or threats from any business owner nor employees. If this persist then I am going to sue them for character assassination and verbal assault. They should at least get him out of the store so us customers that are handicap can pay our bill with being treated rudely by their employees.

bed bugs

I do business with the aarons in Tempe. After having a bed set for two months I started getting bit by something. I called my apartments to do a inspection and they found bed bugs in the furniture only in my room. I called aarons and its taking forever to get someone out to take care of this. I was told that all theirfurniture was treated when I bought it. This is disgusting!

Bed Bugs

I rented furniture from Aaron's in Mass. been with them for years. I told them that the living room set they gave me had bed bugs. They did come and get it to treat it, but waiting 2 weeks now to get it back, Is this how they treat their good customers? I'm honestly thinking of going back to Rent-A-Center. I never had this problem with them.

Ihave been with this company for 25 yrs and there have been some bumps but not like the one i exxperinced on yesterday. I recieved a camara thatr I had been wanting and it was there the young woman was pleasant until I told her thyat the price thatwas quote was different she got an attitude and then proceeded to stomp of wow really. The gentalman there helped me and told me he appologisted for her behavior. Its not okay. In these economic times people need soem respect especiallyt since Ihave been there so long and did so well never missed a payment. Aarons take my advice listen to some of your long tern customers becasue remember we can go else where!!!!!

Aaron's DONOT report your credit

OMG, some of these story about Aaron's,SMH but I know one is so true. Aaron's donot REPEAT donot report your credit like they say.

disrespect

I have worked for Aaron in Mt. Sterling KY, store F931. They never give you a break and take the pay out of your check anyway for lunch which is a violation of labor laws. The tell you to eat on the rd .. The worst management ever. They're disrespectful to me and customers. No wonder they don't get good business.

Discriminated

I filled out the app, they approved it, I paid my first months payment "$130.00", then they told me it would be at the store in a couple of days. 5 days went by and I received a call that the store manager didn't want to approve my app because my brother did them wrong. They told me I needed to come get my money back, that they couldn't do business with me. I don't know what to do. Who to call. The first time I have tried doing business with Aaron's and this is what I get. By the way the store is in Danville, Ky

horribly incompetent store

I am so disgusted with rhe store here in Clearwater. Florida! I pay. I've made arrangements with them: nothing is ever documented in the computer & you speak with everyone including the manager & nothing is ever right! I will never, never, never deal with this horrible company again! We told them about the horrible mattress from the beginning of the lease & it was not replaced! You constantly get a song & dance with them!

never going back to Aaron's

I have been going to Aaron's for years and have paid off a lot of stuff. Aaron's customer service has gone down hill. I can't believe how rude all the people are that work for this company. I called to get a lawn mower and they said I could not afford it and hung up in my face. I hope this company will close down soon. They have lost a very good customer. I was going to pay off the stuff I have right now but when I get my taxes it is going back. I wil nevel step foot in their door again. If I ever have to rent a again I will go to rent-a-center. They have never treated me bad like this company.

Bad Business

Have used them for about six years, First started in Florida, Moved to Athens Tn. And WILL NEVER NEVER use them again. Athens store has changed management I know of at least three times in the past two years. Each one is worse than the last. Never been late or missed a payment in the years I have delt with them.Their service Dept is, well wrong. Have a top of the line Maytag Dryer, Stopped heating, They picked it up for service about two months ago, Have never received a call on progress, I call them and they say "We will find out and get back to you" Well been a couple months, and nothing. Went in the store and was treated like common trash. Still no answers about the dryer. Paying for a top of the line product and usine a bottom of the line simple product for a couple months now. Will not give any kind of credit or give me answers as to when my original item will be returned. Thet say they Beat advertised items for other stores, Not True in Athens Tn. I HIGHLY recommend you look at other stores before you go into an Aarons and get treated like dirt under their shoes.

they did not want to repair my tv and said we damaged it. arrons should close in every state they have the crappy stuff that stop working once you get the dont go to arroons

bad business

Went in made a payment on one of my accounts and and want to close my other account they said they would call for a pick up time and date and that same day they showed up at almost 10 p.m. That night woke everyone in the hoise banging on door and when answered they were just rude and disrespectfull and down gradeing me will close my other account and never use them again

STAY AWAY FROM AARONS

I have never been so disgusted in my life as I am with aarons furniture in Harlingen, Texas. I've never been treated so rudely, disrespectfully, and just down right wrong from so many people! I now see why the reviews are the way they are on this Site, shame on me for trying!

Rude harassment by aaron's

This mess is ridiculous you don't come to some body's house trying to act like the police wearing dark shades disrespecting the people that live threatening our children kicking and banging on our apartment door that is going to far!!! They call 6 to 7 times a day even after the business is closed for the day 9pm at night. I have one TV making a hundred dollar payment most time the payment is on time due on the first but sometimes i have to wait until Friday for my paycheck. I call to tell them that but they still call 6 to 7 times a day sometimes after 9pm at night from the first day of the payment being due. There should be a grace 5 days or something, because these antics are too much. I know there are some who haven't paid for months and these tactics are necessary but this is crazy and is starting to feel like harassment to me.matter fact it is harassment went and tried to make a partial payment after speaking with a manager another guy tells me the payment is more now and then added 20.00 for a late fee
