I had the worst experience ever in the Greenbelt Maryland Store on 3/15/12! I had a issue with my check and I asked for the manager, she came and announced herself as Patricia the General manager. I explained my issue. Which was that I was charged for something I did not have. She begin to tell me that it was not her fault that I needed to speak with my server about this. I explained to her that I had done this already that's why I asked for her. She walked away, about 30mins later I asked the server where she was to help solve the issue and he informed me that she had lefted for the day. (highly disturbed!!) I asked for another manager and I was told they were all busy! So I waited another 30mins to an hour and not one manager ever came to the table!!!! This was truly truly unacceptable as well as unprofessional of a GM.

This letter is in regards to the TGIFridays in Waterbury, CT (Store #0441) Where do I start? Management-This is the top of the pyramid. Just like when a guest walks in the doors, the hosts are the first impression that they get. If you ever have a question or problem, you should always be able to speak to your manager. Well, not in this case. Granted, yes, there is a new general manager and i really hope that he can turn things around because it is needed! Monica is the only shift supervisor (not even a manager yet) that ever follows through and gets things done in a timely manner and the only one that i feel i can talk to. You ask her for something, whatever it may be and she gets it done. Jim on the other hand, has a VERY bad attitude towards certain employees and its uncalled for! He treats some good and others like crap and its not right! He's rude and needs to be talked to about this! I also believe that every manager should know every station in the restaurant before they become a manager. I can't tell you how many times a bartender needed help and had to struggle to get through by themselves because a manager didn't know how to do anything, let alone make a strawberry lemonade slushie. Servers-Like I said above, i know our new GM is on a role and hopefully is gonna clean this place up but certain servers need to go! We just got our privileges back as far as sitting in the bar area to have dinner or a drink but when you are a closer, why is it that the bartender has to pick up tables around 11:30 p.m. because you wanna "get outta there" or even have a drink? Thats not fair and totally managements fault for letting it happen. What ever happened to a closer being a closer? What ever happened to teamwork? This TGIFridays has NO teamwork whatsoever! Everyone is for themselves and its really sad. Its sad when guests/bar regulars tell you this too. Fridays used to be SO much fun when we had karaoke. It isn't what it used to be and like I said, the guests even say it! Being recognized-I believe that being recognized is a HUGE deal. There are a lot of employees who work very hard and don't get any recognition. Management always point out the bad but never seem to see the good. Favoritism is huge and I feel as if your not a "favorite" then you don't get recognized either. Has corporate or management ever sat back and thought hmmmm, I wonder why some long time employees put in their two weeks notice or even already quit? I bet they haven't. Tips-Servers get paid about 5.69 an hour, along with bartenders who get paid about 7.15 an hour. We depend on our tips! So, when we have 5-10 tables who either don't leave a tip or tip about 10-15 percent, WE DON'T MAKE ANY MONEY which means WE CAN'T PAY OUR BILLS which means WE CAN'T AFFORD GAS TO GET TO WORK which means WE CAN'T AFFORD TO PUT FOOD ON OUR TABLES...get it?! I think that we should be able to add gratuity to every check, not just parties of 8 or more. It isn't fair for anyone. If it wasn't for servers then you wouldn't have anyone to wait on the guests. Just like if it wasn't for the cooks then you wouldn't have anyone to cook the guests food and the list goes on...but not only do servers not make any money but then, you go in the kitchen and you ask for a side of ranch dressing for your guest and they tell you to "wait" or "thats not my station". If they are busy I get it but if they are that busy then a manager should hop on the line and help them. Breaks-I don't know what the laws are but everyone deserves a break! Theres only one manager who makes EVERYONE clock out for their breaks and thats WRONG! If you work a 10 hour shift, I believe that you should get at least a half hour break and a 15 minute break. God forbid if you sit down for 5 minutes, you have the management jumping down your throat on why your sitting down! Craziness! The Bar-Its sad when your bar guests say that the bar SMELLS! Its the gravel on the floor tiles. Some are broken and the water from the sinks are starting to get in there and thats where the smell is coming from. The coolers behind the bar are disgusting! Theres milk, fruit, wine, puree and everything else you can imagine spilt and left in the bottom for months at a time! Certain bartenders clean it and other bartenders don't. I don't know if they don't care about their jobs but some do and it isn't fair for the ones who do! Two weeks ago, the ice cream cooler was cleaned out and defrosted and it's back to the way it was. Then managers wonder why the bartenders don't clean anymore. Why should few do it and others do nothing and make it messy like it was? Thats not fair either! The list can go on and on and I'm not the only person who feels this way. I really hope there is something that gets done about this.

My name is John. I was just at your 773 Winchester location, Memphis. TN where I ordered a to go chess burger. To my surprise, the lady who is in-charge of the to-go order ignored my order for a long time, very unprofessional by basically playing and typing things on the cash register and telling me I will be with you but allowed my food to be cold and still did not attend to me. I was so frustrated that I had to leave my food and departed the place. I called back to talk to the manager Aldo, but was on hold forever and still he failed to come to the phone as well. I left my phone number but it looks like, I am going to need a congressional order for them to call me back. This is the worst service thus far. Very disappointing experience. John

I had the worse experience in my whole life I was treating like a theft a criminal and so was my dad and the rest of my other family members.... It was Saturday March 3 myself and the rest of my family members decide to choose TGIF Fridays to celebrate my cousin birthday.. That was the worst choice we ever made... We had a party of 25 and we had good service at least that's what we thought until the check arrive. Me and my Sister and my cousin had someone to meet us at the restaurant to show us something.. My cousin and my sister left to go outside to talk to the person I was behind I gave my check to my mom along with the money as I go to walk for the door all of a sudden a police officer comes behind me grabbing and man handling me like I'm a criminal and to add I had just had a baby 6 months ago I was so embarrass when my dad was trying to tell him that I paid the bill he wasn't listening when he finally listen I think he was was more embarrass then anything he grab my dad out the crowd man handling my dad telling him he's under arrest for touching a police never did my dad touch him... My dad that does not have a record was arrested for nothing in front of everybody and to add the officer was also abt to draw his gun at my father... Come to find out the manager of the restaurant was the one that called the police never did he go to the table to verify if I paid the bill he just assume I was walking out on the bill while 22 members of of my family still was sitting eating. This is the Friday restaurant in Pembroke Pines Florida.. I feel the manager and the officer handle the whole situation wrong and I'm also goin to call and file a complaint on both the manager and the officer... My dad had to sit behind bars for over 16 hours

My husband and I just left the TGI Fridays in Southaven MS. It was by far the worst restaurant experience of my life!!! Waited 45 min for table. After seated waited 20 min for a waitress to show up. Took our order and brought EVERYTHING out wrong, even the drinks!! We never got our appetizer until finished eating; and only then because I mentioned that it never showed up. Our waitress stood at our table for 10 min making excuses until my husband finally asked her to stop! She asked me if I wanted to talk to a manager--DUH! Unfortunately he was just as terrible. Started making excuses also. Only offered us $5.00 off our ticket and took off appetizer. Just to recap....food was gross, service was horrible, and management was clueless!!! Please do not go to this restaurant. We will NEVER be back!!!

Went to TGI Fridays In Gulfport, MS last night--about 8:30 in the evening. The place was mostly empty. Took nearly 15 minutes to get a waiter--then another 10 to get our drinks. My coffee was so sloshed over the cup the napkin beneath was soaked and cup all but floating in coffee. Terrible service-poor quality meal--Parmesan crusted chicken had no crust, was cooked through but some stuff tossed on top--totellini was so al dente I needed a knife to cut it. Took over 45 min. to get our food and the waiter couldn't remember anything without being reminded-whenever he decided to show up. Green bean appetizer good, cheesecake good-that's about it. Bill was incorrect but they did correct it when I caught their error. Music was so loud you couldn't hear yourself think and very hard to hear person sitting next to you. I asked them to please turn it down a notch--they refused. We aren't music prudes-we both have college music degrees--who wants to eat to rap? Lousy service, lousy food-we won't go back. There are too many good restaurants elsewhere.

Wow where to start one of the worse restaurant experiences ever, after waiting an hour to be seated at dirty tables and chairs that we ended up cleaning the waitress took our drinks and meals. After 40 minites we had no drinks not even water waitress never checked back to at least explain why and the staff was laughing and hanging out in a group like they were guest. I eventually got frustrated and asked for a manager who seemed to be more upset about the complaint than we were the service. Eventually we got our drinks two of which we had to subsitute because they were out ? and when the food came it was terrible...needless to say the night was TERRIBLE

I HAD LIKE THE WORST EXPRENICE EVER!!!! FOOD WAS AWFUL STEAK WAS NOT COOKED IN THE MIDDLE. I ASKED FOR WELL DONE STEAK WHEN I CUT INTO IT, IT WAS SO BLOODLY IT WAS SO GROSS, I ALMOST UP CHUCKED. THIS WAS THE TGI FRIDAYS IN COMPTON CA. I ALSO BROUGH A MANGO MARGRITA WHICH HAD NO LIQUOR, IT TOOK SO LONG FOR US TO GET OUR FOOD AT LEAST 45 MINS OF SITTING AND WATCHING THE ALL STAR GAME ON THE TV SCREEN TO PASS UP OUR TIME. I WOULD NEVER GO BACK TO THIS TGI FRIDAYS IN COMPTON AGAIN IT REALLY SUCKS!!!!!

I have been to the Massapequa Park TGIF a couple of times before. When I returned this Sunday (2.26.12)I was approached by a sullen, un-smiling Hostess name Nicole. She aske how many in the group...and we told her 3. She then said it would be a 5 minute wait. I noticed many empty tables/booths. Nicole proceeded to wait around the front area. Then after 5 minutes she showed us to a table. There was no reason why we had to wait for 5 minutes. We sat down and waited for about 10 minutes before our waiter (Shane) approached us and took our order (I also explained that I was a TGIF member). We waited for another 5 minutes before the 2 Diet Cokes and 1 coffee arrived. Then we had to remind our waiter about the chips and salsa that comes with being a member -- that came 5 minutes later. Another 10 minutes passed and we received the soups that were ordered. My French Onion Soup was luke warm so I returned it. The Manager (Frank) and waiter were apologetic...and promised "hot" soup. When the second serving of the soup was served I was told by the manager that the soup was pipping hot. But it wasn't. It was luke warm. He asked if I wanted to order something to replace the soup -- I asked for PotStickers. That came 5 minutes later and thankfully they were hot. After finishing the PotStickers -- the 3 of us waited another 10 minutes -- at which time -- after being at the table for over 30 minutes -- we decided to leave. We put $10 on the table (to cover the cost of the 2 diet cokes, 1 coffee, 1 soup and 1 order of PotStickers); I complained to the Manager and left. Frank the manager and Shane the waiter were very nice and apologetic. But that did not make up for the horrible experience at TGIF. Next weekend, we will definitely go to another restaurant -- and it will be a very, very long time before I even contemplate entering another TGIF. There was no reason we should be greeted by an un-smiling, angry looking Hostess. Nicole "greeting-the-guests" role at TGIF should be re-evaluated by management. And as a side note -- we were not the only ones complaining. I noticed a couple of other tables returning their food.

I went to the Fridays in Cerritos near Kohl on February 26. I patiently waited 20 minutes and no waiter or waitress came to take our order. A family came in and sat at the table next to us and got service within 3 minutes. As I type this still no service.

I will never eat at this restaurant again. Served a bacon burger with the bacon half cooked. Did not eat it - took it out of my sandwich. Served lettuce & tomato on a side dish for my hamburger. Lettuce was soaking wet. Told server and she gave me more napkins so I would wipe the water off. Did not offer to take it back to the kitchen. The dish my hamburger was served on was all splattered with grease like it was used a second time. I did not know my plate looked like this when all they did was put a hamburger/fries on it. The fries looked liked they were thrown on my plate. Very messy. Told waitress and hostess and nothing happened. I would not recommend this place to eat.

We went to dinner at your restaurant in Village Square Bethel Park on Monday. We were seated and then waited 15 minutes for our server to even ask for drinks, then wanted to know if we needed more time to decide. The shrimp that my husband and myself ordered was of the quality of a fast food place in fact I think Long John Silver gives you more product. My granddaughter ordered a 16.99 special and the steak came covered in garlic butter the waitress should have pointed this out to a child when we wanted to send it back once again the waitress was missing. Half way through our dinner she came back and substituted chicken fingers which was consumed on the way home after a lengthy wait. She not only charged us for that meal but added 7.99 for the appetizer which supposed to come with the first meal. Really disappointed with service and food. You can e-mail me with a response. jsanders1943@gmail.com thank you

I have to say when I visited the Fridays at the brass mill mall, I was told by the hostess they were short staffed . It was Tuesday Feb. 20. A whole section had dirty tables. People walked out. Who want to eat among dirty tables. I later found out there were only 4 on the waitstaff. This Fridsys was too busy to be so short staffed. When I said I was complaining to corporate, all of a sudden hostesses started cleaning tables. No apology, rectification. Just. Short staff. I wasn't even told who was the manager. No one stayed long enough at the front desk to ask any questions. When any one tried to ask the hostesses ignored people. When they finally called our name the hostess stated" oh there you are". I was standing next to the desk for 20 minutes. The lesson learned is don't vist Fridays. I went to you restaurant because I was staying in the area. Next time I go to Chilis right next door.

I just walked out of the Friday's in Bowie MD. The restaurant was absolutely filthy! Several tables were dirty, food was all over the floor and the women's restroom was atrocious, there was blood on the floor!!!! I can just imagine what the kitchen looks like and that is why I left. The Health Department should shut it down! No one should have to experience such filth at an eating establishment!

Hello Sir, Pardon for my letter to you but I am so angry at your staff in TGI Friday in Cribbs causeway in Bristol UK. I tried to book a table for 4 3 weeks before valentine 2012 via online but failed for some reason so we drove to the restaurant and tried to book it there to be sure but your lady staff there said that she could not book it for us and that it should be book through online so we tried it again but failed I got fed up so I phoned the restaurant and tried to book again the lady there said if we cannot book it online then we just turn up on valentines around 7pm and we should be able to get a table. My 2 friends came from London to celebrate with us but when we got there we were told that we won't be able to get a table until around 10pm but no guarantee! I tried to explain but they just shrugged their shoulder. I felt so embarrassed, our night was totally ruined it was supposed to be a romantic night for us. I phoned the manager there 2 days afterwards but he just told me he will book me a table if I want to. What a service!..

My Family and I went to Fridays In Killeen Texas tonight and the service was horrible. When we recieved our food our steak was not even cooked on the inside. It wasnt even considered rare. It was raw and barely brown on the outside. I am a trainer at a restaurant and that steak would not have passed our restaurant quality assessment. They Need to recertify their chefs on food quality, because they are serving food with improper temperatures, and that can cause fd poisoning. When we brought this to their attention they apologized and told us they were going to cook another one. Thirty Minutes later after the rest of my son and I meals were finished we still haven't received my husbands meal. After trying to get someone to help us we decided our evening was ruined and wanted to leave. The Chef insisted we take the food home, so we did. Once we got home we checked the steak and it was raw just like the first one. After Waiting 45 minutes to pay they only refunded one meal. My son and I couldnt enjoy our meal as well when the rest of our family didn't have their meal. Horrible night spending hard earn money during this recession on three meals we couldnt enjoy.. Very upsetting.

thank you for the coupons you sent the service at the woodbridge resturant was at best poor. The waiter delivered dried fries to our table the problem was cleared up by the manager,we had to wait 15 minutes to get service while the young man was running all around the resturant then when we finally got the cheek the waiter refused to accept the coupons you sent ane we had to wait another 15 minutes for a manager The managers were great but our dark haired male server was very poor. Please do not send anything I will not be returing

Around 6:50pm on 02/08/2012 I called TGI Fridays Waterbury, CT Store # 0441. Phone rang about 5 times until the manager had picked it up. I knew a good employee was working tonight and needed some information on a few platters I need for a party. I asked to please speak with her and I was told there is to be no personal phone calls by the manager Jim. Which is fine although this was not a personal phone call. I chose to not further the conversation with him because he had an attitude and assumed right away. He hung up on me which was very rude. You should be lucky to have good employees working for your company to where she brings in a lot of guest. I will no longer recommend any of my friends to go there. Might I add, after being an employee for almost 6 years there it had never crossed my mind to put in a complaint about where I had worked, but after leaving there I am sure glad I did. Now being a guest there, maybe "you" being corporate need to give him a review.

My husband & I love going to tgi fridays along with lots of other people. We were shocked & very upset to learn that our restaurant was closed for good and that yet another "sports bar" was moving into that location. We were told that it closed because it needed to be remodeled like the other restaurants. We in Rochester MN. Were not complaining. We would like Tgi Fridays back.
