This is the WORST company I have ever dealt with in my life. First off it is rude and arrogant to beat down someones door, and better they are beating it down when I am at work and my neighbors next door hear it! I have called the store on several occasions to ask for my account to be set up on a two week basis and they refuse to do so. Plus the rude voicemails they leave on your phone. I have kept every single voicemail and documented it for if I would ever have to go to court for this childish garbage. I will say this after this contract, AARONS will have ALL of my business and I WILL NEVER in my life ever send someone to this place. It is the biggest joke if I have ever seen one and if I didn't have so much stuff saved on this computer, I would return it unusable! THIS COMPANY IS A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE AND DON'T EVER WASTE YOUER TIME!!!!!! Also never go to the Weirton, WV store they are the rudest bunch of people that you will ever meet!! Save yourself all the hassle, and go to AARON'S!

I HAVE AN ACCOUNT IN COACHELLA CA,THEY ARE THE RUDEST BUNCH OF IDIOTS IVE EVER DEALT WITH.MY PAYMENT IS DUE ON TUES EVERY WEEK,IF IM NOT THERE BY 5 THAT NIGHT THEY ARE CALLING MY REFERENCES.WE CALLED AND ASKED THEM TO STOP AND THEY SAID WE WERE SO FAR BEHIND THATS WHAT THEY HAD TO DO.IT WAS ONE FREAKIN DAY BEHIND.AT ONE POINT OF OUR CONTRACT WE HAD A FUNERAL TO PAY FOR AND ASKED FOR A WEEK EXTENSION AND WERE TOLD NO INFACT THEY SAID IF WE DIDNT PAY THAT DAY WE WOULD BE CHARGED THREE WEEKS IN ADVANCE.I BARELY HAVE A BALANCE LEFT OR ELSE I WOULD TAKE THIS THING BACK IN A MILIION PIECES.MY LAST PAYMENT WILL BE MADE ALL IN PENNIES!FROM NOW ON AARONS HAS MY BUSINESS

They are absolutely great. This is the second time that we've rented from them. We always.make our payment on time and never have any problems. For those of you griping about them coming to get their stuff y'all are stupid. Its the same as having a car payment if you don't pay no matter what your ding doing or where your at the car place will get the car ad they don't care how. Rac is the same thing if you don't pay then its considered stolen.

My sister went into the Rent a Center located on Innes Street in Salisbury, NC. She rented a laptop and had issues with it from the start. She had to take the laptop to the store and leave it overnight because the computer crashed and Elizabeth (employee) said that they were getting ready to close that the laptop could be picked up the next day. But the main issue is that when the computer was purchased my sister was the only one on the account and she needed personal references. I was a reference and my mother was a reference. I was called and agreed to be a reference over the phone and Elizabeth at the store asked my mother to sign a document saying that she would be a contact person. My mother is old and cannot see well and asked two times when she signed the paper if she would ever e held responsible for the laptop and she was told that she would not be. My sister was robbed and the laptop was stolen and she did obtain a police report and took it into the store. Since that day the employees at Rent a center began harassing us all. They were saying that because it was not a forced entry then we were responsible for paying the full amount of what was owed on the computer. Of course there was no forced entry because the door was unlocked who would force their way into something if they did not have to. Your employees called and threatened my mother with being arrested is she did not come to the location and pay the amount owed. Your staff was rude and unprofessional and this is a direct reflection on your company. Word of mouth is a big thing here and I will make sure that everyone I know will hear about what happened to my mother and how she was treated. I work for a company that has locations world wide and that is no way to treat customers and you certainly cannot get more customers if that is how people are treated by bullying them around.

do not use rent a center at nitro market place. they harrass you by phone at your work place, even though you have paid your account off. If someone put you down for a reference with out you knowing, they still call and harrass you about thier account. The only to take care oif this is calling your attorny general office.Please take note . there sould by a management change at Nitro market place or the store should be closed.

I assure you that IF YOU DONT PAY YOUR BILL THEY WILL COME FOR YOU!! if they are harrassing, that means you need to pay your bill, or they will come and get their stuff.... you are all idiots

make your payments if not on time keep in contact with them, answer thire calls and you and you will experience great customer service I'm only speaking about rent a center on baseline & mt view in san bernardino california.

at my store i rent from they said that they are going to fill foloeny charges on me and im only a mouth behind can they do that

i had a firdge that i was renting from them. i was making my payments. they would call days before my due date telling me i needed to make my payment. mind you my payment want due yet. on to of that the day that i would pay them and i did my payment online they would come to my for and say that they were here to take the fridge back. they harassed my kids and my family constantly.call everyone atleast 5 to 6 times a day. you guys ate a joke. customer service is horrible. i hope you go out of business.

This compnay is the DEVILN!!!tHE ARE ALL RUDE AND NASTY !!!Im guessing they fired all the people that where working there when I first went there last Feb 2012 to get a laptop. he first one I got was a HP and it worked for a few week and it stop working they had to send it for service when I got it back they plan told me to stay off of the PORN SITES !!!!!!!!!!!! How low down and rude that was beccause I never got on PRON SIGHTS!!!! and if I did who the hell are they to tell me what sights I can go on .. Go now Im on Laptop number two the second HP just a different color ,it stop working then they gave me a Samsug it worked fine until it was stolen! I have aleady paid over $900.00 to them for the Laptop I tole them it was stolen a long with some other things, and I also moved to another city and called and told them that my Husband went to prison for 8months and I wants working and was about to start a job and wont get paid until 8/24/12 and I would start back paying them then !!! for something I dont even have any more ... The call me EVERY DAY TWO AND THREE TIMES A DAY ON MY PHONE AND I STILL HAVE MY HUSBANDS PHONE AND THEY Call it everyday right after they call ME ON MINE BACK TO BACK . i HAVE ASKED THEM TO STOP CALLING AND THEY HAVE ALL BUT TOLD ME THEY WILL CALL ME FROM SUN UO TO SUN DOWN .... I would be ok with all of this had they not treated me so bad when I TRIED TO TELL THEM AS SOON AS I GET A PAY CHECK I WILL PAY ...I HAVE HAD ONE OR TWO OF THE MEN IN THIS STORE THATS IN NASHVILLE CALL ME A BITCH.... AND HING UP THE PHONE ON ME WHEN I HAVE CALLED THEM . I HAVE TOLD THE STORE DM.. TO DO WHAT EVER THEY DO AND JUST TAKE ME TO COURT I WOULD BE BETTER OFF DEALING WITH THE JUDGE THEN THERE RUDE ASS !!!!!!!!!! I JUST WANT THE PHONE CALLS TO STOP !!!!!! IM GOING TO CHANGE MY NUMBER AND PRAY I JUST HEAR FROM THE COURTS AND NOT THEM......

My wife and I have rented from another rental place in the past. We moved to Hot Springs, Arkansas, and have continued to add more and more items to our account. This store in Hot Springs is AMAZING. The entire staff, from Management, down to the movers, have gone SOOOOOO far above and beyond the level of service we would expect! We accidentally down-loaded malware on one of the computers we rented, and they brought us a loaner computer while fixing the one we have for free! My wife likes the loaner more than hers, so we called to see if we could switch them out. They make it soooo simple to do business with them, started a new contract, which gives us a new 90 days, same as cash price....and they are using ALL the money we have paid into the other computer. The have moved us for free, bent over back-wards to help us over and over again! Our life is so much more comfortable and enjoyable with all the nice furniture. We have THE MOST COMFORTABLE bed/mattress, cool couch, just paid off my Acer touchscreen within the 90 days price, and it was so reasonable. THANK YOU RENT A CENTER HOT SPRINGS!!!!

I absolutely hate the way they do buisness we made our renewal payment last week n come to find out they posted it to the wrong account the payment was made Saturday and they didn't call me until Monday just to b rude and say that I didn't make my payment:/ well now they won't stop calling me to tell me I need to pay a 20 dollar difference on top of my regular agreement these people need to get their crap together and stop screwing other people over twenty dollars may not seem like much but it is when u have already paid and are living from check to check!! When I am done paying off my items I will never do buisness with them again

they are the rudest people on earth, they constantly harrased my 10 yr old son, they pulled an air conditioner that i was renting from the window while it was on, they tore up my window frame, they cracked my window, they knocked my televison on the floor and broke it, i took pictures and filed a vandalism report against them, they were looking in my windows with flash lights, they were knocking so hard til the neighbors were outside looking, i will never have anything to do with them, the nmanager is the worst person on earth, i don't see how they can get away with the treatment they do, i realize you own them, but take the person to court, don;t constantly harrass them, the even opened my car door in my yard my dad told them to leave me the f alone, to get away from my house it wasf completely dark and they were knocking so hard they woke him up next door.

i have had a 60' lcd LG FLAT SCREEN T.V. WITH R.A.C. FOR ALMOST A YEAR MADE ALL MY PAYMENTS ON TIME. BUT THE ONE TIME I DONT THINK I CAN MAKE MY PAYMENT AND I THINK MY PAYMENTS CAN BE "FREEZED" AS THEY SAY..THAT WAS A BUNCH OF B.S!! THEY TOOK MY T.V. BECAUSE THEY CLAIMED I GOT IT ON "SPECIAL" AND SO THEN THE PAYMENTS COULD NOT BE "FREEZED"!! WTF??? REALLY?? OH HELL NO!!..THAT'S A THIEVERY NO MATTER HOW YOU DO IT!! IT'S WRONG AND THEY KNOW IT!! AND THEY CLAIMED IF I WANTED MY T.V. BACK MY PAYMENTS WOULD GO FROM $76 EVER TWO WEEKS TO $100 EVERY TWO WEEKS..OMG!! THESE DAMN LEACHES!! THEN THEY WONDER WHY THEY LOOSE BUSINESS!!! STAY AWAY FROM THE R.A.C. IN CLUTE, TX PEOPLE..THEY WILL DO YOU DRY WITH A BIG OL' SMILE ON THEIR FACES!! MAY THEY GO UNDER!!!

Never rent from these people again, the white ln in bakersfield ca are all a bunch of no class idiots. We rented from them in july, work obligations called for my husband to be out of town for 60 days, these idiots call non stop. I got hurt and will be out of work til mid sept. They call non stop, I ignore them but now I have read how rude they can be, I welcome them to call. I even tried to pay online to get them off our backs and they wouldnt let me. A real company would have ust taken the payment and called it a day. Instead of trying to keep their customers, they run them off with thier nonsense. I am not home so if they came to my house, they wasted thier time energy and gas good for you idiots. What are they going to do?? Break in?? Now thats a call for the police to come. If they choose to come get their stuff, they better NEVER CALL OR EMAIL ME AGAIN..... They will surely get a piece of my mind. They all need a class in customer service, english, common sense and manners 101. I HOPE THEY GO OUT OF BUSINESS. Every complaint site I find, I will be writing complaints.

I HAVE BOUGHT FOUR TELEVISIONS, ONE LIVINGROOM SET AND ONE FIRPLACE, AND AN OUT DATED I PAD THAT DIDNT HAVE A CAMERA FROM RENT A CENTER. FROM TIME TO TIME THINGS HAVE COME UP AND YES I HAD BEEN LATE. BUT I ALWAYS PAY MY LATE FEES AND CATCH UP MY ACCOUNT. I WAS NEVER MORE THAN A WEEK LATE. FROM THE VERY BEGINING RENT A CENTER HAS BEEN RUDE AND CONSTANTLY CALLING MY JOB AND REFRENCES. SOMETIMES THEY WOULD CALL AND I WASNT LATE. OR KNOCK ON MY DOOR WHILE I WAS AT WORK. AND THE MANAGER HE WAS SO RUDE I WANTED TO PUNCH HIM IN HIS FACE A NUMBER OF TIMS.HE WOULD TALK TO ME LIKE I PERSONALLY OWED HIM, A COUPLE OF TIMES I HAD TO BRING HIS ASS BACK DOWN TO EARTH. I DONT KNOW IF THE CORPORATE PEOPLE CARE OR NOT BUT THEY ARE GOING TO LOSE A LOT OF CUSTOMES BECAUSE OF THE WAY PEOPLE ARE BEING TREATED.IS THIS PART OF THE TRAINING? WHY DOES THE CORPORATE ALLOW THIS KIND OF BEHAVIOR FROM IT'S EMPLOYEES? EVERYTHING THAT I HAVE BOUGHT FROM RENT A CENTER IS PAID FOR IN FULL. I JUST PAID OFF MY LAST ITEM A 55 OR 60 INCH TELEVISION. I WILL NEVER RENT OR BUY FROM RENT A CENTER AGAIN. I AM SOO GLAD THAT AARON'S HAS COME INTO THE NEIGHBORHOOD. THEY KNOW HOW TO TREAT CUSTOMERS WITH REPECT AND THE ARE CHEAPER AND THEIR PRODUCTS ARE BETTER. A WIN WIN SITUATION FOR ME!THEY DONT GET ANY STARS FROM ME THEY SUCK!

I bought a living room set from rent a center the board's in the couch broke they had to send in for repair the couch was in repair for 3weeks manager called to inform me couch was back would have it brought out the next day so I called just to make sure I am not on schedule to have product brought out I am not happy with the services that I have received from rent a center.I also have a tv in repair which I only used for 1 day where u could not here the volume and tv tv was.out the box I really hate rent a center

Apparently the corporate offices do not investigate complaints that are written here. There is a store in Weirton, WV. #814 who has employees that are ignorant and run this store the way they want. Mr. Clark, who is the district manager has no control over this store what so ever. They call 6 to 8 times a day harassing you for your payment. What part don't they understand that you come in every week to make that payment and yet they repeatky harass you on a daily basis. The products at this store are not even brand new as claimed. When the manager is not there the other employees of this store do exactly what they want, wjth harassing calls, and they do what they want. You want a rating for this store well it would have to be on the minus not the plus.The employees of this store are ignorant.

I bought a laptop off of RAC about 7 months ago. The guy I got it from said he found me a really good deal. This guy has always been sweet and very nice. So I thought I was getting one hell of a deal. I open up my pc and start using it to find someone else's information still on it. I called RAC to tell them. The guy that i work with was suprised and not happy about it. He walked me through on how to reformat it. Which I did. I had the computer for about 2 weeks. The charger catches on fire and is completely melted in 3 different places. I called RAC and the guy that I have dealt with, was on it. He had me bring him the cord and said he would get me another one. A week later I called to ask about my chord and he told me that he just got the manager to order me a new one. It should be in within a few days. So I get my new chord and a week later, the LCD cable went out. I took it in, they sent it to service. I was given a loner while my was being fixed. I was ok with that. I get my pc back and its reformatted. All my information is gone. I didn't know it needed to be reformatted to change a cable. I don't know enough about computers to know, so I went with it. I get my pc back and the battery wouldn't hold a charge. Every time my pc would come unplugged, it would shut off. I called RAC again. they said to bring it back in, I noticed that my pc would freeze after starting it up and would shut down after being on for maybe 10 minutes. I let them know when i took it in what was going on. So I got another loner for another 3 weeks. I get my pc back, and yay! The battery was fixed. But it was still freezing up so i took it in again. Was given another loner, which i found was a pc i had previously rented and it still had all my information on it right off the show room floor. All my accounts, passwords....everything. I called RAC again to let them know what I found. The guy that i work with was very upset about this. He said that the service guy should have completely wiped it clean. So I make sure that it's wiped clean before I take it back, I asked him to look at my pc cuz I'm sick of taking it in. He does, he gets it all fixed up for me so it should be good to go. I get it back and it crashes on me again. Apparently they either just reformatted it so they didnt have to replace the LCD cable or they have no fuckin clue what they are doing. By this time, my pc is payed off. I call RAC and get the manager this time. He said that he would be willing to send it to service for me one more time just because I am a good customer with a hint, next time ur on your own. I get the pc back this last time. I still have crash dumps to where i'll be in the middle of working on something, I'll get a blue screen and the computer just restarts itself. The computer is still getting hot and so is the charger. So i'm wondering if I'm going to have another fire. If I do, am i going to be there to catch it??? This is my experience with RAC.
