Rent A Center Corporate Office & Headquarters

I live in dallas and evento though Its nice to have the option to rent it should be some stipulations on this...i want to change this so good people can no linterna be taken advantage of so querer can i start please help

On July 2nd I had someone to take a money order to the store for payment. I was behind two payments. The money order was for one of the payments and I had the other $70 cash, but couldn't make it before they closed. I did that because I wanted to show good faith in paying my bill. Well went I arrived home the money order was in my door and someone written VOID across the money order instead of just leaving it. I would've guessed that it wasn't accepted.

This place is a joke I'm so upset with this store my bf has been hurassed and insults and curses they came to my work and imbaressd me they came to my home and was nocking so hard that things would fall of the walls this place has nothing but made life hard I have been trying to contact a district manger or someone higher rent a center in gloversville ny is. The worst there is Brennan who's rude and threats me and my bf there mike he try's to be the nice guy and goses to Ur work and hurrases u to death then theres maria and she thinks she's so perfect I hate this store and I really think some one should do something a bout this lawsute sounds nice to u

Hello I think rac has a way of targeting a population or group of people who are on a limited budget. a certain buget and totaallyharrass them with collection. late fees and penalties. I wish I would have never entered into an agreement with this company. I am pursuing legal advice to address the copanies tactics. I am looking for support from other consumers who had a bad experience with the company.

So I hate rac as soon as my TV is paid off bye bye never again. They harrass my family from out of state to get ahold of me or they are going to go legal. What happen to privacy you can't call my references and tell them what's going on. I think I might contact a lawyer about this.

What I really love about rent a center is when you make your payment online and the site is not working for whatever reason and the payment can't be made without calling the office but they are closed so you have to wait until the next business day then they want to try to charge you a late fee and when saying you are not paying a late fee when it was their site that was not working they get an attitude and try to call you a liar about the site not working. Second thing I love is being woke up at 830am on a day off from work. Giving back what I am renting and going with someone else!!!!

Hey RAC here is a little FYI for you. Without us loyal customers YOU WOULD NOT HAVE A JOB!!!! How about that????? So you would think you would be a little more nice to us who spend our hard earned dollars for your products.. Get rid of the harrassment and attitude problems..

Talk about your experience with Rent A Center. I have been doing business with them since 2007. I have spent over, (now hold onto your pants) $20,000.00 with them. I have fallen on harder times because of illness. I tried to work out payments with them, but it was not to be. I never considered myself a renter, but a purchaser, but that is very soon going to stop. They could really care less. I mean, what company refuses a payment because it is not enough? I owe on a washer and dryer and laptop. I will pay those off, but business from me and anyone else I can reach, will never, and I mean never walk through their doors again. Truly, the place to go if you must rent is Aarons. They by far beat the pants off of Rent A Center hands down in Customer Service, price and payments. Though purchasing from RAC or any other company won't happen for me ever again, I suggest that anyone who does rent from RAC, take what they have back and head to the above mentioned company. You will be far better off. The Tulsa Branch on 31St and 101 East Ave, 918-665-3636 run by Martin and his thugs who are concerned only of one thing. Making your life a living hell. Remember, harassment is against the law folks.

I recently rented an air conditioner for Rent A Center. I ended up being a few days late on my payment. Their harassment was unbelievable. They came to my apartment when I wasn't home and banged on my door, screamed my name in the hallway for at least 10 minutes. My neighbor eventually called the police while her son hid in the closet. They were that loud, rude and obnoxious. They also threatened to come to my job. NEVER will I rent anything from this place again.

Well i can tell u this im upset with rac im late on a payment because i have a 8 mount old baby that has a heart defect and I've been in a haspital for 2 months now he had a open heart sugery. And rac comes to my house and i get a phone call from my mentally changed sister inlaw cry tellingthat that the man from rac was really rude and siad that if she didnt let them get the stuff that they will call the police and she siad i cant let u in shes not here then the man siad f-ing stupid retard and left .when she told me that i called rac and talked to the manager and he didnt do a thing but send another man instead i will take this to courts for harassment its not ok with me to treat my family like that so know i cant pay my bill because i had to pay for my babys hospital stay and i would rather do that then pay rac .

i rented from rac in 2011. a 2pc sofa, a playstation, and a 32inch flatscreen tv for about 3mths.and rac harrassed me by putting their flyers sayin that they been by all over my home the walls and doors. which was enbarrasing when i seen what their reps did when i wasnt home. i should have taken pictures and filed charges. they came and pick up everything and now they refuse to repay me what i put into the merchandise. and want give me credit up to what its worth. now all i want is my money back since im not satisfied at all. is there anyone out there that can help with this matter. like fox 4news or problem sovers.

the rent a center in nacogdoches texas is the worst by far... i have been a very loyal renter for more than a year and never have i been treated like sh*# untile this gung-ho guy named chris took the store as manager... i pay my bill on saturday (EVERY SATURDAY...) i hade to travel to west texas for my great grand mother (in a nursing home) and i called chris and told him a would be in late the next week. he replies sure no problem. will i guess it was a huge problem because they started calling me the day it was due. over and over they called and i told them the same damn thing every time... long story short they really pissed me off when i was reffered to as WHITE TRASH. i hope the big boss sees this and fires chris, untile then i know more then half of this town and we will all return your shit and go to arrons. thank you for wasting my time and hard earned money...

i am deeply saddened by my recent conversation and ultimate dissatisfaction with rac after several years of dealing with them---the store in palm bay florida cars nothing about former customers, they are just trying to sway you into their lies of good merchandise and good prices, when their prices are way higher than their competition( aarons) i have over 600 bucks in credit with rac, but they refuse to give me credit for it towards a bundle deal on items, they claim they put it on the end of the agreement, but in actallality it's just a ploy to lure you in. i feel sorry for troy aikman and hulk hogan for doing those commercials( i am sure they got paid dearly), but that makes rac charge us more---the goal of every company is " outdo the competition", but rac dont give a rats hind parts about that, their motto is come to us when you cant afford to buy new and we will lie to you and rape you over the coals of fire like hell with used( claimed as unused) merchandise

The store manager name sonia in the beaufort sc store is a reasonable person.im almost done which the beginning of next month ill be done only 234. I missed one payment of 60 dollars and ask her can i pay on Monday in shes talking about coming to get my stuff.this store are any other rac i would not be renting from again.she has to know that not everybody have stuff on time and its not lile im behind or anythingim almost done

i have been a customer for years when they opened up in my home town it was great best ppl on earth i have rente washer @ dryer two new in the box putters and other things i was payin one price then i moved to a diff town and tranfered my account now i am payin more than the contract says and the employies dont know what opitional means un less rentacenter has thier own verson opitional means i have my choice if i want it or not but rthis store says its the law as soon as my products are paided off got to much momey in them all ready i will go to a diff place and rent better terms and lower prices

I AM RENTING A WASHER AND DRYER FROM THE RENT A CENTER IN BILOXI,MS. NO PROBLEMS THERE. I ALSO RENTED AN LG 55" LCD TV 2 WEEKS AGO, AND IS SUPOSE TO BE NEW ONE,IT WAS NOT IN THE BOX, I ASKED FOR AN OWNERS MANUEL. THEY TOLD ME THAT THEY MUST HAVE THROWN IT AWAY. I will never dent from them again and I highly suggest you don't either!!! I went in to the geneseo store in NY and picked out a living room set along with a surround sound system, made my first payment and set delivery up for today waited around for them they showed up except it was the canandaigua store they walked in grabbed my tv and left. Apparently my boyfriend missed a payment on his TV so they took it and never even delivered my couch, never called to say they were never planning on delivering it and apparently just because my boyfriend owed on his TV that was in his name not mine they found it okay to do this. I'm furious!! And more than anything have lost all respect for this company and will be sure to advise everyone I know to look else where to do business. The worst part about it all is that they took the money for my first payment never delivered it and won't even refund my money! I feel like they stole from me!

I have dealt with rentacenter since 2009 and just this past April was going thru a job change. Now mind u I have made arrangements where I would come the following week to pay and never had a problem. Well a new manager was there and when I mentioned the job change and asked him to work with me all harassment started. I mentioned that I would be paid up in a few days after speaking to them. They harassed me three days before they received the payment that was due that I originally mentioned like 4 ties in the conversation. I contacted corporate and asked if I can make payments in another store due to the harassment issues. Well I was contacted by the other store and that person was trying to tell me that I was in the wrong and all I wanted to do was make my payments without any problems. That's when I just got sick of their heinous bs and stopped payments. Just recently I had sat down and calculated all my payments on all items that I have purchased in the past and what I have now and have come up with substantial amounts that do not match on the contracts. I was robbed by rentacenter for over $5000.00 and now I am fighting this. I am currently seeking legal council in this matter and have told them of this. I have mentioned that this is in fact a civil matter and will see them in court. Just today they came to my home twice, once in the morning and the next at 5:20 this evening. They tried to break into my home and I have caught them on video trying to use something on my locks and they banged my door so hard I thought it was going to come off the hinges. They are in violation of the CT Consumer policies and I have contacted the BBB as well as the Attorney General. I am not giving up without a fight. I will not let them intimidate any hard working individual that tries to work things out in a civil matter. I will make sure this company pays for every heinous action they commit. They were already sued by Attorney General Robert McKenna in 2009 for the same actions that they are committing on me. I will do everything in my power to make sure they pay dearly.
