I went into the Calumet City store tonight at the 4 west Sibley location and will never go to another Popeyes again. The store had no outside lights on and I passed it up the first time. That should have been a signal to me but I chose to ignore it because my family wanted chicken. The store was filthy and appeared to be unsupervised. When I returned home and opened my box of chicken, I immediately noticed that the chicken looked different. The skin was overly dark, and upon pulling apart a breast, I discovered that the meat was dry and unpalatable, as if it were old, placed back in hot oil, and resold. I ate some and put the rest in the garbage can where it belonged. I was going to call the store, but after reading other reviews, I felt that it would be a waste of time, and decided to go corporate. I have had other negative experiences at other Popeyes, but this is, by far, the worst store I've patronized. We used to look forward to Popeyes, but I think its time for me to find another place to purchase my chicken. I've had enough. I would like to write more, but I have to run to the washroom.

Visited the Breaux Bridge, LA store It has been bad for a long time most people in our area drive past it to the store in Henderson, LA because of service and staff. Today an employee noticed it was taking long and told everyone in the restaurant that he worked there and wouldn't eat there. The place should shut down and re-open under new managment. His pants was sagging and he would pick his pants up all the time he was serving. I could understand slow service but this crosses the line.

on 12/08 or so i went into the popeyes at the las vegas location on las vegas blvd. we ordered 27.00 worth of food. after coming home realized that the big order of red beans and rice was missing. i called over there and talked to gerardo the mgr over there and was told that i will be getting a replacement. he asked me what size it was i said the large one. he promised me two of them but when my husband went on 12/14/10 to pick up chicken and the rice he had changed his mind and was going to give us the small ones. so my husband had to pay for one big one and got the other one for free. that is ridiculous to have promised it to me and then get there and change his mind like that that isnt right should do what was promised. i am so disappointed in the company for this. will not go for a long time and will tell all about the horrible service i recieved.

I have eaten at the popeyes is Gonzales, La many of times and all I ever get it bad service and disappointment. I went there tonight and waited for them to take my order for 20 minutes. After taking my order I pulled up to the window and sat another 10 minutes. When the lady finally came to the window she said my order was 17 dollars(it was only suppose to be 5 dollars). Finally I got my food and left. When I returned home I realize that my order is completely wrong(this is not the first time this has happened). To add to my disappointment I opened my red beans and rice only to find two bites left. This popeyes needs to be under new management!

This is concerning ALL the stores I've visited in past several years. But last night I purchased one of your 12 pc. family meals at the LaPlata, MD. store. I ordered all thighs, each one was no larger than the diameter of a soda can. The order should have easily fed my family of 4 but the chicken looked like it came from a TV dinner. That meal cost over $25.00, and yet we were still hungry! If your organization doesn't remedy this situation soon you will your customer base will soon dry up.

The Popeye's franchise on FM544 is sorry. They can't get the orders right and this is the third time I have complained. Wednesday, Dec. 1, another gentleman and myself had placed orders. We both had to wait 30 mins. because certain foods were not ready or they had run out. This gentleman is also going to get in touch with the corporate office and complain. I am writing to you because I recieved a distirbing phone call from my sister today. I am so disgusted with the call that I insisted on writing this email. Her co- worker bought a fried chicken meal from Popeyes on richmond with a side of jalapenos. He proceeded to take a bite of the jalapeno and found a larva waiting for him. That in it self is really distusgusting but the reaction from the Popeys team is even worse! Jarrod ( the unfortunate jalapeno biter) returned with the to go box of disgust only to be rejected by the pompus Popeyes team that didnt seem to think it was a big deal. "Well what do you want us to do" they replied with attidue and disconcern. After hearin g this I will NEVER EVER EVER order chicken from Popeys. I am offended by this story so much that I had to write this letter. One last word eww.

My name is Kurt Bascus and I reside in Brooklyn New York. I enjoy eating food from Popeyes. However, Recently I had the unfortunate experience of purchasing food from the restuarant located at the corner of Fulton Street & Brooklyn Avenue in Brooklyn, New York. I did not appreciate the fact that I did not receive my complete order of food in which I constantly spend my hard earned money for. On the evening of November 20, 2010, I purchased a 4 piece chicken meal with a request for an extra biscuit. Upon indulging in eating my meal, I realized that the extra biscuit I requested was not supplied; I can imagine that this may sound like a minor situation, but this is the about the third occasion that this has taken place, and my frustration is beginning to mount because I really enjoy eating food from Popeyes. Mind you, this is about the third time that such an incident has taken place; but with my frustration mounting, I finally took a step to somehow voice my displeasure in hopes of getting a response or a resolution. AGAIN, IT MAY SEEM MINOR, BUT I AM A PAYING CUSTOMER. What is more disheartening is that the cashier on duty at the time shows a lack of prossional courtesy, but quickly applies the cost of an extra item without being sure that the item being paid for is supplied. SOME FORM OF RESPONSE OR ACKNOWLEDGEMENT WOULD BE DEEPLY APPRECIATED........

My son-in-law and I went to Popeyes on San Mateo Ave. in Albuquerque for take-out. I ordered the crawfish dinner with two sides. When I received the dinner box, I opened it while at the counter to make sure I got everything I orderd. It was as I had ordered except for the horseradish sauce which amounted to honestly no more than a tablespoons worth. I asked the girl behind the counter If I could have an other little plastic container of sauce and I was told that they would have to charge me an additional 27 cents! Twenty-seven cents for a tablespoon of horseradish sauce. This IS NOT good customer service and this blast will NOT be good PR for Popeyes! Quit nickel and dimeing your customers. If you think your tablespoon full of horseradish sauce is worth twenty-seven cents, think again. How long before Popeyes starts chargind for napkins? You get one napkin with the meal. Extra napkins are fifteen cents each, plus tax! I'll be eating in some other place that appreciates their customers. Long John Silvers perhaps.

wow! after reading all of these complaints....I won't even waste my time! I will just NEVER go to Popeyes again!!!!

I know first hand that all the complaints here about popeyes are true... they are terrible! If something happens to you, don't hold your breath for a phone call... they won't care or make things right.

Went to our local Popeyes in North Charleston, South Carolina this evening. Girl waiting on my husband her name was Preston very poor customer service. She told my husband what he was going to buy not what he wanted to buy. Chicken not even warm when getting home and we live 1 mile down the road. After reading all the complaints I think I'm going to change to the KFC up the road. We had great customer service when we went there they are just alittle bit up the road but worth the drive for our money which we work hard for. Hopefully Preston does not go there to work!!

I want to start by saying that I am a longtime fan of Popeye's Chicken and French Fries. I absolutely love your biscuits. The idea of having to check every single item prior to driving away, or inside is a big deterant. I decided to get Popeyes for my children and stopped by Store # 10721 in Richmond, VA . My Order (number 51)on November 12,2010 at 7:14pm consisted of a 5pc (Mild) Chicken Tenders Meal (totaling $8.39),they like the chicken tenders, but are not huge fans of the fries. So, I thought I would eat the fries and they could share the tenders and the drink. So, I noticed a lot of people behind the counter, seemed like Management was paying a visit to this location, because there seemed to be a lot of people out of uniform back there. I did receive my food pretty fast, which was refreshing. However, the fries were not fresh and I requested "fresh fries" and was told to pull up and someone would bring them out to me ( with rolled eyes). It did not take long before what appeared to be a supervisor was handing me a bag of fries, and apologizing, which I appreciated. I give the kids a napkin and some fries to eat on the way home. When we pull up and begin to collect our things from the car, I noticed that they hadn't eaten their tenders and asked why, they said they did not like it. Well, I do, so I took a bite of one and it was very spicy. I asked for mild. I had to check the receipt to see if maybe she hadn't heard me, but it clearly said "Mild" and was NOT. I recently visited the store in Markham Il.On several occasions lately the food has been horrible,the chicken taste old,they sold me some old fries and this is happening quite often. The manager of that store has a horrible attitude he needs to be sent back to management school to learn that the customers are the ones that keep him in business. i called back to make a complaint instead of him being understandable he told me to bring the food back and i don't have to come back there i was shocked that he would say something like that. pretty soon that store will be out of business with a manager like that running your business. My husband went to your location on Antoine and HWY 249 in Houston TX. He asked for mashed potatoes with no gravey twice...he then asked for honey...when I received my food..as you can guess I had gravey on the potatoes and 9 packets of ketchup and no honey...my husband is a police officer...he was in uniform when he placed my order... now I don't know what kind of employees u hire but one of them seems to have an issue with police officers as she was heard saying "I don't care cause he's the police"..now I have an BIG issue with this...he was there to make a purchase and that is what he did... he ordered(which was wrong), payed his money like anyone esle and left..so her comment was just not called for...I called the manager and advised my issues and she gave a chuckle and said oh sorry about that...WRONG!... from the complaints I have been reading you don't care about customer service and that means to me I'll take my money elsewhere...I hope you do the right thing by contacting that manager and advising she Implement some custmer service skills...becuase I have NO PROBLEM letting the people know about youe poor service/poor managment skill ect.....( this page tells it's own story)... Austin, TX 78702 i went to popeyes today at 7:10pm to recive a free sample of crawfish that was avertised on tv. so i went thru the drive-thru with my 3 family members and requested for the samples. when i pulled up to the window the employee told me that we could only recive one sample PER VEHICHLE, i told the employee that on tv they didn't say anything about one sample per vehicle, so i asked to speak to the manager which was standing there listining to all of this, she came and i asked if i could get the 3 samples for me and my family; the employee told the manager "we own it to the customer" she repiled " i don't owe them nothing!".and asked me if i want just the one sample or just nothing. i repiled that i needed 3 for my family(3). i asked her for her name and she said it very rudely, so i asked again for her name and last which was "joanna",never got the last she didn't want to say because she knew i was going to report her for being disrespectful. so i continuosly asked for her last name and then suddenly alls i see is the window getting slamed in MY FACE. so i drove away with hurt feelings and no samples. i could understand if it lots of cars or people there but since it was late my family and i thought they would be kind enough to just give us three.. i guess all popeyes don't have the customer in mind! the location was airport and mlk my home # (512)-477-2520 cell # (512)-423-0046 can we see that this problem is taking care of thank you for listening :)

I went into the Rockwall Texas Popeyes on Ridge Road where I placed an order and was handed my recpeipt stating 20.44 I only ordered 12.99 and a large drink. When I questioned why so much the man told me that I had order mix and I asked what is mix and he states mixed meat. I replied no, I ordered the 12.99 and a large drink, so the extra 4.00 is for mixed meat that I did not even order! He just wanted to go back and fourth with me. I told him no, I don't want to pay this extra therefore he can take his food and his drink back which I handed back to him and I stated I do not want your food and drink . I want you to credit back to my card. finally after 6 minutes or so waiting for my credit receipt, I asked what is taking so long? and the reply I got back was will you move your car up so that we can wait on the customer. What the heck was I ???? I replied no, I just want my credit receipt than I guess the other man handling the refund Manger who never introduced himself hands me a void receipt to sign. no I am sorry for the misunderstanding and that it has taken so long to correct the situation. Did I mention that the two men barely spoke English!!!! now tonight I go online to look at my online banking and there is a pending charge for yep you guessed it Popeyes! How does a voided tranaction become a pending transaction???? Needless to say here I go calling the customer service for Popeyes again. I have to listen to all there employee number, carporate, vendor, and so on.......... Point is as a customer that has had a bad experience with one of your locations I sure don't want to listen to a machine for 3 to 5 minutes before a section comes up for customer service! Shame on Popeyes ! your complaint number, hot line what ever you would like to call it really let's the customer know that we are last on your list of concerns ...... Popeyes needs a reality check HEY ME THE CUSTOMER YOU KNOW THE ONE WHO SPENDS MY MONEY AT YOUR POPEYES LOCATION! I AM JUST ONE OF MANY THAT PAYS YOUR BILLS! Oh, I am not finished yet. back to finally talking with a customer rep. her name is Tracy no help at all she could not answer my question as to how a voided tranaction becomes a pending transaction ! I wanted to talk to someone who could and she asked my number and name again and states that someone from corporate will get back with me. I asked when and she states as soon as possible and I asked for a specfic time and she replies as soon as possible what the heck! now my money is tie up on a Pending tranaction!!!!!!!!!!! I did not get what I asked for, awful service, both from Popeyes and then from customer service ! why do you even bother with a customer service rep that can not assist me ? a receptionist is what popeyes has for what they call customer Service! I really would like a call back and explanation as well as my money back in my account which has now be tied up for two days which was to have been voided in the first place. will neverrrrrrrrrrrrrrr eat at popeyes again and you can bet I will share my experience from beginning to end that I had with POPEYES worst service ever!!!! still waiting for my money to be put back to my account, a call from corporate?????

So many horrible service as well as presentations in the majority of the stores, yet people still go in and purchase popeyes food. If you want to make a statement, don't buy the food anymore, it is not healthy for you anyway.
