i work for motel 6 the reason why your room are not clean as they should be is that this company is one of the cheapest we only have 20 min to clean a or sometimes 15 min we dont have enough time to clean good also not enough supplies

Dirty Room/Augusta, Ga.

I walked barefoot in the room til ready for bed; I looked at the bottom of my feet and they were black from walking on their dirty floor. The flooring was some sort of vinyl that showed a lot of wear. I did tell the office and they said they would let the manager know.

Moab Location

Lack of management and an out of control full hotel left this traveler without sleep. I checked in around 8pm after driving all day. The steady up and down running to the spa by children, the yelling in the hallways, and lack of concern for tired guests left me without sleep and when I talked with the front desk they said call corporate and when I did, they said this was a franchise and should of been handled their. I get screwed out of nights sleep and a room charge. They agreed it was a unruly place and full of noise. Why not correct it.

Ive stayed in several motel 6 through the last 25 years it used to be nice u held high standards to with hold the name but lately all i find are old unkept overpriced rooms leaky sinks no carpets even one said i had to use my own bedding seriously raise your standards

On Nov 11th I went to Motel 6 in southeast Jacksonville. Chelsea (desk clerk) Told me she only had a dirty to room to show, I said"thats fine". The room looked fine, a fridge a microwave, big enough, Im disabiled. The very next day I went to check in and paid with my Direct express Social security CREDIT CARD. (WILL EXPLAIN A LITTLE LATER) I went to my room, looked inside and it was empty, no fridge, no microwave, just a bed and T'V'. I went back and said what is going on? The clerk told me these handicapped rooms dont have the space for amenities. I said I was showed a room with amenities. He ruffunded my credit caRD IN 5 MINUTES TIME, Only problem with these credit cards it takes 5-7 days for the money to hit the CARD, I'M MOVING TO A SHELTER, TY MOTEL 6!!!

After having stayed in many a hotel over the course of many years - this was by far the worst. AC Patel # 4232. Gainesville Georgia. The carpet had holes in it and filthy spots as well as stunk. The bathroom had a hole in the wall behind the door with cold air coming in. No clock, no coffee machine, no light breakfast, no shampoo, no nothing. All this for 60.00. It was a flea bag hotel and was awful. I have never experienced this before! Just terrible, I felt dirty leaving even after having a shower.

I live in West Virginia, and i stayed at a motel 6 in Nitro,West Virginia. Once we checked in the front desk had given our room key to someone else and they had walked in on us, we were scared to death. The room was not that bad, now the floor was very dirty when you walked on it your feet where very black, so i had made a complaite to the front desk about the floor and giving the room key to someone else, Well now they banned me from ever staying there again. Just because you let them know about the problems you have when you are there i thought that was a good thing so at least they can fix the problem from ever happening again. But no instead I am never allowed to stay there again. I would like to know by letter the real reason i am not allowed to stay. I asked the people at the front desk and they said they were not allowed to tell me.

I travel very little as a senior widow. The years my husband and I traveled the US never had the blatant problems of the MOTEL 6 in Madera, CA #4247.I arrived on 10/3/12 very tired and not feeling well. I did not ask to inspect the room (#109)before accepting and paying for the evening. My receipt shows Folio 192010 for 1 person with a AAA discount totaling $61.79. I feel I have been overcharged and will report it to AAA in hopes to get a refund and let others know of the Motel 6 quaility for future customers.

Rating it a one star since you cannot go any lower!!! Had the worst experience at the Motel 6 in Twentynine Palms, CA about two weeks ago. Took my kids to what I thought was going to be a fun experience for them. It all went downhill after I checked and entered the room. I was there maybe about 5 minutes and started to feel pokes on my back, turned and it was fleas!!!!! I removed the bed spread and on the white dirty sheets, I saw about 4 bugs jumping! My 4 year old daughter wanted to potty and took her in the bathroom and to out surprise, there was fleas in the sink, toilet and tub (took pix of everything). I was disgusted, called the front desk and was asked if I had any samples of them?? Really?!?!?!?! So then I took them to the front desk in a cup!! Manager went up to the room to varify the foundings were true!! it did not take long for her to spot the creatures,(maybe five secs), she lifted the dirty sheets and took a piece of tape she had on her finger and caught the fles. My kids and I ended up with more than 15 bites each and had to throw away all my blankets and clothes away. Horrible experience and I am going to make sure that corporate knows about it one way or another!!!!!!! Not to mention that they had to get a hold of the manager as she was a cross the hotel drinking and having a great time......

Motel 6 in Big Springs NE on Circke Drive. Awful. First it more than 30 minutes to check us in. We had four rooms to be billed individually. The person who made the reservation was the only name on all of our bill (We were on business and needed receipts in our name for reimbursement.) They said their computer was not set up to bill individually. The rooms had stains on the rugs, the beds were lumpy, TV did not work, towels were heavily stained, the bath tub was also stained. No tissues, no clock, no alarm clock, low lighting, pillows about 2 inches in height and small rough blankets. Do yourself a favor and stay at the Best western in Syerling. Shame on you Motel 6. Never will stay again.

the tv did not work on channel 9 . the ice machine was broken . the hall was dirty .the out side doors were locked .the receipt was not where you read it was told out of ink but the copy they had you could read. no refr.. sheet were not change or bed made up everyday. towel were not changed. also the grass was not mowed around the place. the priced in a week time was changed and went up. like 40.00. the attitue of management was very strong in front of employees. there were cig. marks on the sink when it is no smoking cig butts on outside of window where people had smoked and put cigs on the outside. as for the employees there they were like robots do what is said and afraid to say anything .so do not stay at motel 6 at sinton tex MOTEL 6 SINTON TEXAS NO WAY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?????????????????????????????????EVERY STAY HERE THERE IS A MOTEL ON LEOPARD ST JUST DOWN THE WAY

Room was dirty trash on floor..... bathroom door would not shut and when it did I was locked in had to take door knob off to get out after 30 minutes. I will make sure everyone knows on the way through Amarillo to steer clear of Motel 6.

We stayed at the motel 6 n Oklahoma city on se 44 and I-35 i went to the bathroom and there were 2 mice ,their were mouse traps under the ac unit ,i moved the traps caught 2 of them,called the front desk to come and remove them, and he ask did we bring the mice with us, he got a good cursing out at 6am,i also have a puppy,that got sick from eating a pill he found on the floor,i have notified the health department,they talk to u crazy after u have spent ur money,i will never stay at motel 6 again,and i am a truckdriver,and will let other drivers know that this is what u get at motel 6

Motel 6, Issaquah, WA. Phillip Morris General Manager, this has been the worst stay ever at ANY of the Motel 6 in the US. For the most, the other properties were ok, in Issaquah, it seems ALL the Front Desk along with the General Manager have a real bad attitude. I stay in these Motels for weeks at a time, here I had booked a room with a refrigerator/microwave. When I tried to check in, they told me the room that was booked for me, the guest decided to stay more nights and they really couldn't throw them out, so, for 2 nites I was switched around rooms until I finally got my room. One day when I had to pay for the room for the week, I was told, I had to move to another room because that room was booked and I had to move right away, so, I told them, why would I had to move when I was planning on staying for more weeks, the answer was I had to move and to make things worse was the fact that the room I was moved to was exactly the same except for a smaller refrigerator. Now, mail was not delivered to me for days, people that call my room are put on hold up to 10 mins, they wont sell Internet codes because we have complained about how bad the service is, even though they charge about 90 bucks a month. The room didn't get cleaned for days, I had to ask the front desk 3 days to send someone to clean and I actually went after the housekeepers to maake sure they would clean the room. The Front Desk Clerks are VERY unprofessional and unfriendly. I sent a letter to Customer Service and they responded they were sorry abt my bad experience but I had to address the issue with the General Manager. What a joke!! I will send a letter to the CEO of the Company

I am amazed at the lack of customer service provided by the staff, you can tell very well that no proper trainin was giving. I called the front office around 6am the AC had stopped working and the room go incredibly HOT and uncomfortable. The front desk clerk anred the phone very rudeand loud as if she was being disturbed. I told her the problem I was having with the AC unit in the room and her attitude was very unacceptable to any customer. She was very rude and did not imply nor offer any assistance. After speaking with her breifly because of her attitude and non assisting tone I rejected any further service as well made note to myself to never come here again. This employee will hebturned into the corporate office immediately.

I travel alot,,and never came upon this kind of problem,,with any hotel..We made reservations to your Motel 6 ,in Albany,Or the address 2735 Pacific Blvd SE.on August 28th,,I even got a confirmation number and a quoted price of $51.99 two beds/45.99 single so we reserved the 51.99 a night for three nights for Friday Oct. 5th,, check-out Monday Oct. 8th 3 nights the weekend...I called today Monday Sept. 24th to verify/confirm our reservation and the owner said she never gave us a reservation or a confirmation number or quoted us that price of 51.99,,,she said we didnt have a resevation ,I told her we did and made the reservation about a month ago,, she became very rude and arguemenative !!!!!!...she said if we wanted to reserve a room,, the price would be 75.99 a night ,, I called other motels in the same vicinity and they said there was a big college football game event that weekend..talk about your price gouging !!! Thats why she did what she did !!! Talk about your bad business !!!! I hope corporate reads this,,cause I will be calling with a complaint !!!!!! never will go to a motel six again and will tell others not to...

Motel 6 5101 West Century Blvd Inglewood, California (Los Angeles) I would say that I am shocked to read all these complaints BUT IM NOT. I was looking for a hotel close to where I needed to be, so I found the Motel 6 on 9/19/12. I pulled up and thought, this place looks pretty good, lobby was ok, staff wasnt overly friendly to say the least.. As soon as the elevator opens up to the 5th floor, you could immediately smell marijuana and urine! Get into the room, very plain, no coffee maker, no hair dryer, no shampoo, no safe, no fridge. I took pictures of the room and was sending to friends, in total shock this was allowed to remain open, the mattresses was brown and yellow, my pillow had dirt on it, I found a couple dead bugs in my bed, and some hair.. I called the front desk to ask for an iron and iron board, shampoo...I was told to go to the 7/11 and purchase my own toiltries, and If I needed an iron I needed to come pick it up myself.. so much for customer service. So I went down and asked for clean blankets, which I was told they didnt have any (obviously they didnt have any for the "clean" rooms either), so we got more towels, and later found out they also had pubic hair on them!You could literally see thru their sheets and the bedding was horrid. Thankfully I brought a scarf and wrapped my head and face up in that before I was able to fall asleep with all the nightmares of the room, running through my head.. NEVER AGAIN.. Motel 6 should be embarassed and ashamed to take anyones money for this establishment!

We stayed at Motel 6 at Oklahoma City. OK - Airport #116 820 S. Meridian Ave Oklahoma City Ok 73108 on Sept 07,2012 arriving about 4:55pm ans was told she was going to give us a BETTER ROOM because the one held was way on the other side of the building by itself. The room received was so horrible we couldn't sllep amd because we s=were so tired we just layed on top of everything and left in the morning as soon AS POOSIBLE AND I DID TELL THE CLERK HOW HORRIBLE THE ROOM WAS AND THE BEDS NEEDED TO BE TROWN OUT IMMEDIATELY. THE BEDSPRING HAD A HORRIBLE TEAR THAT HAD BRONWN STUFF ALL OVER IT. IT MADE MY WIFE AND I BOTH WANT TO THROW UP. WE WILL NEVER STAY THEIR AGAIN. WE WILL BE DRIVING THE SAME ROUTE AT LEAST TWICE A YEAR BUT WILL NEVER STAY AT A MOTEL LIKE THAT AGAIN. WE SHOULD HAVE LEFT IMMEDIATELY. AT LEAST THE NEXT NIGHT WE STAYED AT MOTEL 6 IN FLAGSTAFF # 301 ON IT WAS WONDERFUL AND EXACTLY WHAT I WOULD EXPECT. THEY EVEN CALLED WHEN WE HAD ONLY BEEN IN THE ROOM FOR A FEW MINUTES TO MAKE SURE EVERYTHING WAS O.K AND IT WAS!!!!!! PLEASE INSPECT MOTEL 6 OK. OK AIRPORT 820 S MERIDAIN OKLAHOMA CITY, OK I'M SURE YOU WILL CLOSE THAT PLACE DOWN TILL IT IS BROUGHT BACK UP TO YOUR AND OUR STANDARDS.
