It really is too bad that there isn't an e-mail address to send such letters as this to whomever needs to be made aware of the circumstances in a store. That said, I feel something should be done about the way employees are treated at the Lowes store on Fountain Mesa in Fountain,CO. I myself do not work there, but have many friends that do. In communicating with some of the associates that work at said store, it has been brought to my attention the extremely unreasonable treatment which employees receive from the store manager. I do not know his last name but his first name is George. On many occasions he has not stood behind his associate when dealing with customers that are completely out of line. He has told his employees that the customer is ALWAYS right, regardless of the situation. Even when customers have cursed at and thrown merchandise at or near employees. His response has been that sometimes we just have to bend over and take it from the customer to make sure the customer is happy. Where I work Management stands behind their associates! The instant any customer begins using foul or abusive language directed to an associate, that customer is informed that they are not to use that kind of language and if they continue, they are asked to leave the store. Yes, the customer needs to be happy, but that does not give them the right to be abusive to Lowes employees. I truly hope that the way of thinking that this store manager adheres to is not standard protocol for Lowes as a corporate entity.

I applied for receiving job at Harper Woods,MI and I was one of three poeple to have an interview but the hr manager did not call me for the interview for the receiving job. This company stinks!!!!!!!!

I really do love Lowes. I shop at Lowes in the Charlotte region. Since I'am a contractor I do fine that Lowes has the quality that I look for and the employees are very helpful and friendly. However, what I do find disturbing is the amount of merchandise they are required to return without a receipt. Things that were bought and obviously used for sometime that are to be retured per "corporate" procedure no matter what the problem is. I was in a store where a ride-on lawn mower was bought over a year ago. He claims that its not running right and was able to exchange it for a new one! And no recept. Another time I overheard a customer talking about bringing back window covers because she was tired of them. Guess what? Lowes took them back. A neighbor of mine had bought a new refrigerator from Lowes last year, did not take the extended warranty and was told by the Lowes manager that they can do nothing about it since it was 1 year old and they did not purchase the warrany. My neighbor called the main office, the CEO's secretary got involved and they ended up getting a new one. Lowes corporate, the ripoffs got you number! I feel you are there to please the rip off artist and not the reliable, honest people like me. I have decided not to shop there anymore due to all the returns with "no questions asked policy" per corporate. This makes for low moral in the store, especially when stolen things are returned. I'm sure it is very discouraging for your employees. I think you white collar boys need to spend real time doing labor these folks do for a while and see how discouraging it can be.

I BOUGHT A 50 GAL WHIRLPOOL GAS HOT WATER TANK. THE TANK CAME WITH A 6 YR MFG WARRANTY. THE SALESMAN TOLD ME THAT FOR $49.95 I COULD EXTEND THE WARRANTY FOR 5 MORE YEARS & HAVE 100% COVERAGE FOR REPAIRS OR REPLACEMENT AFTER THE MFG WARRANTY RAN OUT. I BOUGHT THE WARRANTY AND GOT A REFERENCE NUMBER ON MY INVOICE. I HAVE BEEN UNABLE TO GET A PRINTED COPY OF THIS WARRANTY. I HAVE CONTACTED THE STORE MANAGER & LOWES SERVICE ADVANTAGE........ THEY STATE THAT NO PRINTED COPY OF THIS WARRANTY EXISTS. I FIND THIS HARD TO BELIEVE. WHAT PREVENTS LOWES FROM CHANGING THE COVERAGE IN THE FUTURE THEREBY DECREASING MY WARRANTY COVERAGE IF I DO NOT HAVE A COPY OF MY ORIGINAL WARRANTY?

I am disabled and on a fixed income. In November I bought a Whoorlpool Cabrio washer that with washer and extended warranty was over $700.00. I normally wait, as most of us do, to do laundry on a specific date. I usually have 10 to 11 loads at that time. I put the sheets in to wash and they would not spin out. I tried everything. Now I have plates in my back and so does my wife so bending over and dealing with ringing wet clothes is not something we do if we can avoid it. She finally got them hand rung out enough to go in the dryer... We thought that maybe they had just been unballanced or something. The machine is about 5 months old. Next morning I put on another load and again no matter what the load would not spin. This was Monday 4-16-2012. I called the service number at 12:30 according to thier notes. They said they could not get anyone out sooner than Wednesday or Thursday. I told them it was urgent as the wet white towels would mildew and we did not feel we could deal with them to hand ring them like we did the sheets. We made the appointment for Wednesday and they stressed that we had to be available from 8 to 5 for the repair man. At 5:15 on Wednesday I called them back upset that no repair man showed and same customer service man said, I can't call Service Tech to find out why they did not come because they close at 4. He said we would have to make another appointment and that there wasn't one available to Friday. I asked to speak to a supervisor and got the same story. They basiclly cold me it was my problem and they could not do anything about it. He said he would set me up for another appointment for Friday. So I hoped that maybe as the Service did not get to me Wednesday they would show up Thursday or call and I would be able to call back and cancel the friday. I waited all Thursday. Nothing. Friday at 12:08 I called to find out when they would come. They told me I did not have a Friday appointment but that my complaint had been turned over to a suppervisor and that she could not schedule me for an appointment till Monday but with a diffrent company. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was put on hold several times, the call lasted over half an hour and I did not get to speak with anyone but the customer service clerk.

Indiana pa 179 was one area need to be observe by the corporate headquarter, some of my friend have been working wt that organisation 4 couple of years and so calls red neck managers still deprieved them of their benefit, raise and support. They rather hire their pple. I want the headquarter look for this issue, color pple ve been manltreat by so call boss . I cant believe it,there are so many pple working in that place that make less and the new comer are making two dollar head of them and those existing worker do more than them still they look 2 them as nothing . Headquater should look @ this issue, those worker doing more than the boss " BIG FOR NOTHING"

HERE TO TELL YOU AGAIN ABOUT THE STORE IN SLIDELL, LA. THAT SO CALLED HR MANAGER NEEDS TO HIT THE STREET. DONDA THE ZONE MANAGER THAT SHE IS GOING OUT TO HAVE A SMOKE. ALL OF A SUDDEN THEY LOOK FOR HER AND OTHER EMPLOYEE'S SAYS THEY SEEN HER GETTING IN HER CAR AND GOING HOME. WELL NOW SHE CAN'T EVEN DO A FULL SHIFT YET SHE KEEPS HER FULL TIME JOB? THAT'S FRAUD. NOW PAT SAYS HE HAD PROBLEMS WITH HER BEFORE HE GOT TRANSFERRED ON THE WESTBANK. NOW THAT HE IS BACK THE PROBLEM STILL EXIST? DOUBLE FRAUD ON THIS ONE. ESPECIALLY WHEN THE STORE MANAGER IS AWARE OF IT. ONLY NGOOD THING THAT IMPRESSES ME IS THAT HE ALLOWED ONE OF THE STORE EMPLOYEE'S TO BRING THEIR PET TO THE STORE FOR A COUPLE DAYS. MAYBE HE WOULD DO BETTER AS A VET. NOW FOR LINDA. SHE HAS A VANDETTA AGAINST NUMEROUS EMPLOYEE'S THROUGHOUT THE STORE. NUMEROUS PEOPLE HAVE LEFT BECAUSE OF HER. SHE IS IN THE WRONG POSITION. MAYBE UNEMPLOYMENT WILL STRAIGHTEN THAT HIGH AND MIGHTY ATTITUDE OUT. GOOD THING HOME DEPOT WANTS LOWE'S EMPLOYEE'S. LET'S HOPE THAT THE SHAREHOLDERS VIEW RATINGS. THINK THEY WILL BE IMPRESSED? WILL BE GOING TO HOME DEPOT VERY SHORTLY.

I consider my Lowes store & products above average however it"s employees are absolutely the best!! Usually contact with them is just a pleasant 'good morning' or telling me which aisle something is on. But on two separate occasions (once the lady store manager and second a very patient young man named Brandon) went above and beyond what would be considered reasonable to acquire some very inexpensive items. Brandon even called the manufacture and had them shipped overnight free of charge! I'm trying to get an email address for Lowes corperate office to let them know how great the folks at the Salt Lake City (1300 S third W) store are!!!

I recently applied for a lowes credit card. after filling out all my personal info i learned that i was not instantly approved and that i would recieve a letter in the mail in about ten days to let me know, while they have never ever had a problem accepting my money over the last 20 years they seem to be hesitant about giving me credit, as it turns out i have excellant credit and every thing i own is paid for!so guess what, lowes can kiss my ass and il take my home remodeling buisness else where, dont waste your time, they have gotten so big that they have lost touch.im actually kind of glad i didnt get mixed up with them after reading some of these other complaints.

TO BAD THAT CORPORATE DOES NOT HAVE E=MAIL. THEN THE PUBLIC WOULD NOT KNOW OF THE MIS MANAGEMENT AND FRAUD AT THE SLIDELL, LA. STORE. THINK BAOUT IT. WHY IN THE SHORT PAST HAVE EMPLOYEES QUIT? BECAUSE OF THE STORE MANAGER, PAT, THE H.R. PERSON, LINDA, AND DONDA, WHAT EVER HER TITLE IS WHO KNOWS. SHE IS NOT WHERE SHE SHOULD BE DURING A NORMAL WORK DAY. HOW CAN SHE DO HER JOB FROM BEING IN HER OFFICE OFFICE ALL THE TIME. YOU HAVE LOST SOME OUTSTANDING PERSONNEL DUE TO THESE 3 INDIVIDUALS. BY FAR JESSE HAD TO BE THE WORST. ALL YOU DID WAS TRANSFER HIM TO WAVELAND RATHER THAN DEAL WITH THE PROBLEM. LOOK AT YOUR LAST ZONE MANAGER THAT JUST GOT FED UP WITH ALL THE MESS. SHE DID NOT HAVE NO SUPPORT FROM THESE 3 INDIVIDUALS. SHE JUST GOT TIRED OF DOING THEIR WORK.LOOK IN YOUR FILES. CALL HER AND SHE CAN TELL YOU SOME STORIES. ESPECIALLY THE ONE CONCERNING FRAUD. BETTER YET U MAY WANT TO TRY TO GET HER BACK. ALL EMPLOYEES LOVED HER TO DEATH BUT HATED TO HER GO. REALLY WISHED TO SEE OTHERS GO INSTEAD. IT IS A SHAME TO SEE WHAT ONE INDIVIDUAL DOES FOR A STORE. THAT IS WHY EVERYONE ELSE IS LOOKING FOR OTHER EMPLOYMENT. FIX MANAGEMENT, CALL SOME PERSONNEL BACK AND HAVE AN OUTSTANDING STORE. KEEP WHAT YOU HAVE, LOOSE PERSONNEL AND CUSTOMERS. YOUR CHOICE.

Lowe's seems to have either pissed off or laid off the majority of their employees off. I really feel sorry for the employees still working there who are stressed out and covering multiple departments. If you have to do a special order for blinds or window coverings be careful! You'll most likely end up with someone from paint who is just learning the intracies of blinds. A year ago we ordered tons of blinds and got excellent assistance... but on a recent reorder my patience was stretched thin. There is no one to help, you have to wait a LONNNNNG time for someone to arrive and in our case the order ended up wrong. Our closest Then nobody at the customer service counter to help you with returns After THREE trips back to the store with nobody to help me I finally went to a different lowes. Sad. Maybe Lowes should consider giving up the special order business.

Husband bought a tractor for delivery on thursday. We got a call it will be delivered on Saturday..I wasted a whole day off waiting, I made a call to see if it was even on a truck.. talked to a very rude woman who told me nothing..at 5 o'clock husband calls' tractor was never being delivered maybe next week, A phone call would have been nice....very disappointed with the service at the monaca, pa store. don't think we'll be doing business with them again.

today i was told by a senior manager that i am to abrubt and upfront with my customers...he says that other managers and not him have told the senior head honcho this...they offer no proof nor have i ever been talked to about it....again a fed up vet....employee's including this manager that offers nothing chat and watch the girls go by....this company totally sucks....they offer crappy products and inferior service...heck most of them cannot even show you how to put something together...yet its a home improvement store...i would think they would want people who can actually do it...instead they would rather have a bobble head who justs say isle 4....crappy company...crappy management....crapy crappy....and full of it....go to the depot at least their you can get a straight peace of lumber....and a tool that will work for more then 5 min.....

Trying hard to get on at home depot the only place I'll shop despite my employee discount at lowes. I work for them 3rd shift and made the mistake of asking why we could not leave for our unpaid lunch after being given 5 different excuses I was told I would take my full hour locked in the building "because they said so" I offer to take my lunch early before the doors are locked and I w as told to drop it. They rip off customers with their warranties. Giving those people the run around while happily taking back the same items with no reciept fromthose who didn't waste money on those plans. Specail order items are often hit with power equipment and customers are still given these items. Lowes pretends to be against so many bad things but my store manager smells of alcohol another was having an affair with an employee under him while a female manager turned up pregnant from an employee under her who was promoted shortly after an arrest. The only thing lowes is against is an employee with the guts to ask questions. So do yourself a favor and go to home depot. Or just ask lowes if they'll be screwing you today.

Thursday March 30thI returned to Lowes with a unique and unusual problem. After being told Lowes would not and could not assist in resolving my issue (I"ll spare the details) I moved up the ladder, employee level by employee level until I reached an assistant manager who took the time and had the creativity to resolve my issue. Great employees make great companies. Bill Valvano, Assistant Mgr at your store in Indian Harbor, FL s(2351), is just such an employee. And I appreciate him and the decision makers who put him at that level of responsibility.

i work at lowes in vegas and i am a reservist and a vet...i work in the building dept and have been trying to get on full time as i have 3 children...no matter what position i apply for despite having yrs of experiance they deny deny deny...i was once told i was transfering to a full time position only to be not told 4 weeks later they decided to go another route despite the fact the i was looking for a full time job....its pretty sad that they are not loyal to there hard working instore employees...instead i see lazy sleeping chatter boxes who dont know the first thing about what they sell...all they know is where it is stocked..god forbid you ask how to actually install something or what tools you may need or how to build anything....in the future i will not ever apply for any position in this company nor recommend them to any returning vet who is looking for work....they should be ashamed..they take their tax break for me..yet ask me to cover and work in the very dept that they denied me for....dont shop here go to the depot or a mom and pop store...jus sayin....hope they enjoy going under soon...

To all considering buying an appliance from Lowes be careful! I bought a new refrigerator from Lowes and extended warranty as well, mistake! I have had issues with the door alarm going off and lights ice maker and water since it was delivered..I have had 3 visits going on 4 now, and still its not fixed..Gail that works in Corp office is polite but the most un-empathetic person imaginable..All she says is she has to listen to her techs and keeps throwing up that my tile file isn't level and i'm moving the refrigerator out..Lies, why would i move a new refrigerator? My floor not level, baloney! Gail also didn't hesitate to tell me the next service call will be an all day call..Taking off work to wait all day to get a new fridge fixed..Nicole her co-worker is much the same but a little more empathetic once i told her that was part of the problem.. No i'm sorry, no we understand your troubles we are listening to you the customer!!!!..Lowes doesn't care if your a customer so i cut up my card up and sent it in to corporate and now i will send a letter to the CEO Mr.Niblock..It doesn't matter what happens form here, i will never buy another appliance from Lowes, like their stores but not enough to be treated like this..

I was on line this morning looking for a riding lawn mower for my elderly mother and Lowe's had a Swisher 26-HP V-Twin Hydrostatic 60" Zero-Turn Mower for $105.63. So I printed the paperwork off and went to Lowe's. I talked to Pam (at 671 Vann Drive Jackson,TN 38305) and she looked it up and she saw the listing also. Then she called this old gentleman over named Dale, he was "VERY RUDE" about the pricing. She called her manager over which was Brian and he was not helpfully in assisting with this problem at all. I was very displeased with the situation and the action. You would think that Lowes would be a place that would honor there pricing even if it was an error. I come to Lowe's and do all my home improvements shopping but since this out come I will be taking my business somewhere else. I would give Ms.Pam 5 stars for assisting me but the manager Brian and the way Lowes had this situation 0 Stars.............. And before I could get finish typing this Brian calls me from Lowes let me know they the call center had emailed him but "he wasn't for sure what else to tell me". This was really RUDE, I have never had such bad customer service in all my life!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm writing this complaint on behalf of me and my husband Mr.& Mrs. Coleman DC Plumbing we shop or should I say used to shop at Lowe's as we will be taking our business elsewhere as of immediately. I shop on line all the time for deals as well as for convenience. Today I tried to purchase an advertised item the swisher 26 hp v twin hydrostatic 60" zero turn mower model # 13261 for the advertised online price of $105.63 and was not able to do due to some era they claim. Also went into the Jackson Tn. Lowe's and was told they were out of stock ( just a big run around) I don't feel as a loyal customer that I should have to suffer not getting an item for the price advertised. Since when I tried to purchase it at a different price it became available. I feel I should be given the price promised or comparable price. I will no longer shop at Lowes and will inform all my business associates and friends to do the same as I and my husband are in home re modeling/ building business this is not the first time this has happened and I over looked it before. I will give my business to Home Depo and encourage everyone to do the same. Not only was the price not honored but everyone I spoke to in person and on the phone was rude and without care about the situation. What happen to customer service and being pleasant at the very least. I am a business owner in Jackson Tn. as you are and would expect to be treated with better courtesy than I was afforded. I feel your management dept needs customer service training asap as I Mrs. Coleman train people and companies everyday the skills necessary to deal with all types of situations, your staff at the Jackson Tn. store on Vann Dr were very unprofessional as was the manager who called to tell me he did not know what else the company wanted him to tell me about this situation. Again this is Mrs. Coleman and my contact # is 313-208-8704.
