I got hit with a snowball by an employee while cashing out...i knew shouldve stuck to target...

I received an email notice back in November from "Snag A Job" that a K-Mart near us is looking for help. So, my 22-year-old son applied to work at KMart. He has never had a paid job before. But, the website indicates a required minimum age of 16, so how much experience is required? Anyway, he is a good student (especially in math) and a hardworking boy otherwise. There was a question on the application regarding whether he or his family have received SSI or food stamps within the past six months. Thankfully, we have not, and he answered honestly. Within 10 minutes of submitting his online application, he received an email that stated that other applicants were being considered. Ever since November, I have continued to receive emails notices from "Snag A Job" that K-Mart is hiring, and I have noted similar postings regarding K-Mart on other sites as well. It appears to me that K-Mart is either discriminating against the young or maybe they are specifically looking for welfare recipients in order to get some tax break. This is my opinion and based on my personal experience. I realize that Kmart Corporation will not receive this note, but I am posting it here for others to be made aware of what it was like for my son to apply for a job online at Kmart, as others may have the same type of experience when applying online for a Kmart job.

Hello On Sunday I went to your store and purchased a jms bra for $11 the sale price so yesterday i decided I would go do a layaway and purchase a few more. horrible experience with sales people and a very snub manager. They said it was only one style number on sale but yet the sign says origionally $15.99 on sale for $11, The ones I was purchasing $15.99, but when I questioned why I was getting the sale price I was told I had the wrong style Do you think they could have showed me the ones on sale no they just wanted to stand and argue not only that then the manager had the nerve to tell me the customer is not right in his store you know as hurting as Kmart is you would think they would be willing to treat there customers better i spent alot of money in Kmart and I was treated very disrespectful I will be calling and calling and letting people know the poor service a person gets in your Hydraulic rd store in Charlottesville Va and the manager Hue the sales person carolyn in layuawayand salesperson Gloria in lingeria need to lose there jobs because if the have no pr they need not be in retail

hello, i was at Kmart last night and i saw the manager and she was just so rude to me, all i did was ask were the laundry detergent was. She had been working all day and was mustve been very stressed out because she snapped on me. i thought my life was in danger ! and i also saw her firing a young girl in front of the customers on rude and not classy. I will rate the manager a negative 00. Terrible service but great employees :)

ok can anyone tell me what parents are suppose to do when your child gets two of the same item for there b-day & the parents who bought them didnt give you a gift reciept & cant find the original one, & when you go to k-mart where the parent said the bought it your told it will not & cannot be returned wo a receipt not even for a gift card or store credit? what options as parents do we have maybe this is why k-mart went bankrupt bc there policies dont make you wanna go back n shop there guess ill be going to walmart where i can get a gift card for my kid bc they want the business maybe thats why there so big & not having money troubles bc they just want to keep your business (hint hint k-mart exects maybe you should take notes from walmart to stay in business)

The last three weeks I have attempted unsuccesfully to purchase an item on sale only to be told, by the manager, no raincheck can be issued. No reasonable explaination was given, no written company policy issued as requested, no store rain check policy posted, or "no raincheck" stated in advertisement. What is the corporate policy for issuing rain checks for out-of-stock sale item(s)? Please advise. Thank you. Optimitic in DC

I am here to complain about the store in Sumter sc. You have some worker's there who work their backs out while other's are walking around testing and talking on the phone. people seem to not care about customer service . And I need to know what is the corporate number. There is no team work at all. But I do see a lot of flirting and telling of their business to customer's very unprofessional. the ones who work hard need to be more recognized and the ones who don't want to be there need to go away.

I have always bought The Body Co tennis shoes size 7 from Kmart and am so disappointed that you no longer sell them. If you have any backstocked or in some of your other stores (I live in Rockford Illinois) I would like to buy at least 3 to 4 pair. The clerk I spoke to was quite nasty, was told in a sharp tone that if they weren't on the shelf they didn't have them.

Lake Orion K-mart I am disapointed in them. They try to shove a rewards card in my face everytime i come in the door. If i say I dont want one why in the hell are you gonna try and force me to sign up. I know and employee that has told me that they must push rewards or there hours will be cut. Who benifits from this who gets the bonus? I really see employees moral going down. I am a loyal customer in my 57 years I cant believe how they treat there people. As far as those rewards next time they try and chase me and try to make me sign up I might just do that and shove it right down the managers neck. I heard with my own ears a manager yelling at an employee to get at the door and push those i think his name is Rick or Rich. So I support your workers they keep me coming back not your prices or your management team.

tried to buy 69.99 created ruby and white sapphire pendant for wife. called every store in state no one had. when add first came out. Then had item again this past sunday two day special again, and there was pendant. Again, no pendant anywhere. But not even able to give me an item number or back order number. Even when you whowed them their own add. Very frustrating.

Thursday night I was in the Anoka, MN KMart and learned that the manager, Bobby Stutzman, was fired. First of all, he was the best manager they had. I worked there for 2 years and the manager I worked under didn't even know how to run the cash register, among other things. If Bobby was fired because his store didn't get enough Shop Your Way Reward cards, that is sad!!!! People who want the card will get one, if no one wants one you can't twist their arm and make them get one. I heard that a lot of managers were losing their job because of that. How sad! You guys ought to go shopping there once in a while and get out with the public. You sit in your little offices and make all these rules without knowing anything. And NO RAISES! Anytime I was in that store I never once saw Bobby sluff off, he was always working, even going out side to get carts. You guys don't know anything about keeping good employees. No wonder KMart isn't doing so great!!! Elaine

I am very dissapointed in how your "MANAGER" (Suzanne)at store number 3703 acts she is so rude. I was a concerned customer trying to make a payment and she was no help at all she stated well i am not a technician i can't help you with your computer problems. She needs to be retrained or you will loose all customers if they have to deal with her.

I purchased four items at the Gainesville, fl. Kmart store yesterday and the scanner rang up $2.00 an item more than marked for three of the items. The tags were not "local" tags but tags from the factory. Fortunately I decided to check my register receipt before leaving the store and realized I have been overchared almost $6.50. When I went to the Service desk and complained about being overcharged I was told this happens. Maybe it is time for this former Fortune 500 company to hang it up. I did try to call the manager but unable to reach him/her.

I am so disappointment with your services I bought my son a dsi xl do for his birthday he didn't get to play with it because I was n a rush got off work went bought it didn't realize till had got it home box had already been open buy I paid it no mine until my son went to play with it that the light was on it wouldn't go off .try to return it but I lost my receipt so they hold me they could not do nothing. I came and kmart today I always shop here do my grocery shopping here I do my everything shopping here because walmart and all the other store are to pack for me but I came in today and there was a woman crying because she bought her son a game I overheard her conversation I was an the lane across from the service desk an a couple of th lady up there were being real snotty with her it was 2 whit woman I am white also but I think they were very unfair to her she ask for a maNger they told her he was not in but she could call up there an talk to don Nicholas. This woman was angry and whatever it was thse employee didn't help and I think I am no longer going to shop there nobody should be treat like that this youn lady was in tear kmart have went from top 10 and my list to the bottom one I think u should get a better handle on your employee and someone need to apologize to that young lady its hard out here for people that young lady had 3kids and she was probaly using her tax money.

The Ellenton Fl K-Mart Store SUCKS and so do the people that run it..... They are rude and have no clue what they are doing. And please...Get over that stupid Shop your Way crap... We as customers just want to go in and not be bothered... If want your stuff we will ask for it. Man K-Mart is terrible... No wonder Walmart is #1. Thank god for WALMART...

Kmart has been advertising kinect games since Dec2010. Its a big disappointment because they never had the games in stock and if they did they only had two. Why keep advertising for something you never have? Is tha false advertisment? Its Feb.2011 now.
