Dish network REFUSES TO HELP a customer of 3 years and in good standing,I was thinking of getting internet offered by Dish network but if they treat their good customers this way i'm thinking twice about this. Dish Network to me iis Screw the customer and get the money.

I have been a dish customer for several years. When I saw the nrw commercial for dish internet that, no matter where you lived, you could access. When I called to start that service, I was told the service was not available in my area. I live in the city. This service is supposed to even be available in rural areas. How can that ne?

Horrible Customer Service

Dish needs to do something about their customer service. I called to inquire about bundling my TV/Internet and phone service. The India rep was nice, but after saying she could help me while repeating everything I said she told me she needed to transfer me because she couldn't help me. After 5 minutes on hold I got an English person who said they connected me to the wrong person, so she transferred me to...guess who? DirectTV! Wow Dishnetwork, what a way to give away business!

Dish Mover/Lack of Reception

Poor! We recently moved with 9 or so months to go on our 2 year contract, we used the dish mover program and it turns out the area we moved to has too many trees and the canopy of the trees makes it impossible to get service. I am being forced to downgrade my sevice to the smallest plan you have, continue to pay you for this service even though I have to go through the idiots at Time Warner Cable to get a TV hooked up with them (and also pay them as well). I understand contracts but I also understand customer service, this is not how you treat customers who want to buy your product when there are choices out there. I would like to return to Dish at some point in the future, but NEVER will if I am forced to pay a cancellation fee of continue to pay for this service that I am not getting.

Just want honest information

Was scammed into thinking the price I was quoted included the bundle deal. Make sure to ask about phone and internet prices. I had started an account and now have cancelled.

After monthly service fee kept growing with fewer non telemarketing commercial programming, contract ended I stopped service. Bill paid in full. They requested that the dish network components needed to be returned. Boxed it up in their box sent to my house. Months passed received bill for $12.64 from a collection agency. This is for the Postage. Why couldn't they have a installer pick up the unit they are local. I install internet dishes that's what we do. I want to be reimbursed for the time, gas, tape and travel time gas packing it and returning to UPS. How about that CEO Charlie Ergen. Who do I invoice. My time is too valuable.

Dish Network Cust Srv reps are liars and their arrogant disrespectful so called managers/supervisors (whom by the way refuse to talk to customers) could care less about the customer. I rate Dish Network a negative ZERO for being LIARS and stealing money from my account!! Lying theives!!

RUNNING Customers OFF

long term, good standing, dish tv user. I called 6 time over last thirty days to get your new internet service. I was given prices from $20-$80 living in your home of Denver. Each call offered very little info. and I found it hard to understand the reps as they speak with a strong accent. Today I spent 30 min. only to be sent back to the begining TWICE. (if you want to continue in english please press 1). I'm still uncertain of the cost and install time of your internet. I have and still do enjoy your tv service, however, after this much grief I may be better served trying another company to bundle my services with.

no refund

I cancelled Dish in January because I was moving. They continued to draw bill payments on my debit card for February, March, and April (about $250). Despite my protests, they refuse to refund the payments because "our computers don't show you ever cancelled". Someone at Dish has dropped the ball, and I may end up paying for it. I had planned to reconnect with Dish when I moved in, but not now. Stay away from Dish -- they have an excuse for every kind of poor customer service.

re: final dish bill

I have never dealt with a company who was so uncooperative. I wanted a paperbill for my final statement. It took Dish nearly 3 months to mail me a paper statement. I called weekly to get a bill. I received a bill on April 23rd 2013. The next day I received a voicemail from a collection company. What type of company does business this way. I can honestly say that I will do without television service before I ever have Dish installed in my home. I can also include my whole in this statement. The only reason Dish has received one star is because I had to put a rating.

Unprofessional Business

I have been with this satellite company for years and in the last year their customer service has not been very knowledgeable or very well trained. The supervisors seemed to be the same way. I had a problem recently with my Dish Network from February 2013 and made an attempt to resolve the issue with them and took notes of our conversations names and dates each time. I have my bank statements where I have made the payments to them and where each problem was. Two weeks ago before this bill I made an attempt to see what was going to happen with this bill. The customer representative assured me I would see the credits on the next bill. I was finally sent a bill late and for more than twice what my bill was. I filed a report with the Federal Trade Commission for an investigation against Dish Network next I will make an attempt to contact the Corporate Headquarters over the matter. If the problem is not solved then I will take them to small claims court where a guy took them for a lot less reason than I am and won.

Very unhappy with customer service

Upon disconnecting from Dish, I was told I would be sent packaging to mail my Dish equipment back to Dish with. I did not receive that packaging. I called and inquired about the packaging and was told the address it was sent to. The packaging was sent to the wrong address. They resent me packaging and assured me that I would not be charged for the equipment I was sending back. A week and a half later I was charged for the equipment and my tracking number showed that the equipment I sent back had been received by Dish. I was treated with disrespect by George VBX, comments like, 'Well I pay my bills mam!' Unbelievable!! Every promise given by Dish was not met and I am the one suffering for their terriable customer service.

My social security was compromised from Dish I never used my social security number on line or any organazation never had a problem until i gave my social security number to dish people beware? do not give your social over the phone they used it for making a false tax return and tried to by 600.00 in paint.

The Lady I talked to lied about autom payments and the price. I had been warned about this so was watching. It took 10 seconds to take my money and now a week to get it back. do not deal with these people

i am so sorry that I swich my cable company to dish they are big rip-off i use this company less than one mounth and know the ask $485.00 for cancelion it is high way robbery the us govermet most stop this kind of net work company.......

They took the money out of my account on th March 25, 2013 knowing that they could not hook up service for me on March 23, 2013 (this is fraud)! I never got any service from them and they still took my money! Still waiting for my money! I have writen to the BBB about this!

Dish network is A VERY BADD COMPANY!! They went back and charged a friend of mines credit card that i used once before on MY account, and when I called them to request the money be refunded DISH NETWORK tried to LIE and say that's the card i set the account up with then turned around & said no it was the last card used for a payment!!!! what kind of Bullshit is THAT!!!! then I called and talked to a mgr"and he thought it was a joke!!! I say that this company and corporate SUCKS!!!!

rip-off

Have had Dish for many years and have always bought my own equipment recently I upgraded and now received a e-mail that I need to return the receiver that I purchased from SOLID SIGNAL for 68 dollars, They are saying it was a leased receiver. They also have my most recent receiver as a leased instead of a purchased. I can't get a return call. Anybody got the CEO's e-mail address. Thanks

I've been trying to locate the channel for NBC sports. That has become a very difficult experience. The first time I tried calling I ended up with a rep in India who had a difficult time with english. Her supervisor was even worse. The second call found me talking to a rep in the Philippines who actually spoke better English but couldn't understand what I was calling about. On Monday I'll try the corporate office or perhaps i'll just drive there and make a scene. After all I'm a handicapped senior and I should generate some negative press
