Horrible Customer Service
I woke up to my service being shut off. Mind you I called 3 weeks ago concerning a 300 dollar bill. I was assured I would be credited for the errors made and I could pay the remainder of the bill on the 24th. Now I have no service and after calling 4 times am more frustrated than when I first called. Was lied to and talked to very rudely. I will be filing a complaintwith the bbb and whoever else I can complain to. Do youraelf a favor and go someplace else.
billing bullcrap
I have been trying to reaolve a billing issue because dish took money out of an account i dont use putting that account at a negative balance they refused to fix the problem but only credit my bill what the acoount was put in the hole suspending my service since i had topay the bank the money to fix the account then the wont extend to pay because they want their money they treat people disrespectfully and belittle people then say their mess up is your fault i have contacted attorney general about them
They are liars!!!!! Also charged my account when they weren't supposed too!
I was lied too and my account was charged!!! Direct TV is the way to go!!!
Dish customer service
Worst company ever to try to resolve problems. As a retired Branch Mgr in sales I always tried to make sure the customer was satisfied . This company seems to only care about money not taking care of their customers who are in fact what keeps this company in business!!!
They Lie and Steal your Money
Cancelled my Service on 11/24 as of today per their CS Rep they have not sent shipping boxes (to return "Their" equipment) so according to them they can't refund the balance of monthly service. Lets think about this I can't get my money because they won't send me the boxes to return their equipment! Did I mention I was a customer of 10+ years. Never ever again and Yes I'm telling everyone how nice Free HD over the air programming is!
dish network is substandard
Been having issues with not being able to watch videos on the net and listen to some radio programs, 4 months and we get the same run around, I went to them to get away from the hosebag billing practices of cable network and now having the same issues with dish! Meet the new boss, same as the old. I am putting sings in my yard regarding this thievery and poor service!

I have been dealing with the billing and a supposed to be discount for over 5 months and they continue to get it wrong after speaking with their customer reps. I have been with them for more than ten years and feel as if all they are interested in is money, not the service they should be giving their loyal customers. I am very disappointed and considering changing to another provider.
Horrible customer service
This company has horrible customer service and I'm not even their customer. I called to have an issue fixed of their technician removing my working dish to install a neighbors. In the process my dish was broken and I was told they could do nothing for me unless those neighbors called in and said my dish was broken. Very rude people!
Customer Service
Crooks is putting it lightly. Basically, Dish Network is not required to give you "anything", yet you're still required to pay. If I could post a snap-shot of their statement, I'd post it. Worst company I've ever dealt with. Customer service sucks; consumer affairs sucks and signal quality is bearable, at best.

i moved in january of this year, prior i had directv but when the tech came out he claimed i could not get service. i was highly disappointed. long story short called dish, was told i had 3 days to decide without being penalized the second day called in to cancel. a rep for dish came and took my dish from the backyard, i spoke to several customer service reps who agreed that i would not be charged.fast forward to November 25,2013 i receive a letter in the mail stating they are planning to take 262.50 from my bank acct for cancellation fees. wth...i called in and each rep was worse than the previous, the supervisors are beyond stupid, finally i was put on hold to speak with an executive that was over an hour ago. i will be contacting an attorney in the morning.

Tried to sign up for NEW service & was insulted & HUNG- up on by Dish employee-I reported to a Dish supervisor, & was not re-contacted, as promised- How does this company stay in business with such low customer ratings ? How does the ceo & others feel about the lousy reputation Dish is receiving about their Co.? They can't care, so I hope it goes under for lack of leadership !
Complaint
Dish is getting ready to be sued for Breach of Contract. Station NBC, TV 17 here in Fayetteville North Carolina is a local station and I am paying for local stations, however, the CEO for Dish is in a pissing contest over money and the provider has cut Dish off of that station. This is a Breach of Contract, Can't even get the Sunday night football game. I will be moving over to Direct come November 1, 2013, take this Dish and stick where the sun does not shine. Nothing but crooks.

I recently got Dish, talk about a nightmare ....this is one. They are deceptive, there's no trial period and I just fell trapped.
THEY STINK!!!
I hate dish network! 1). Been toward our home 5 times for our computer and each time they had a different story about why we are having trouble using it.2). My t.v. screen keeps freezing on one channel and sometimes it won't even be a weather issue. 3). tried to explain my problems to one of the reps and he interrupted me a view times and huffed and puffed on the phone. 4). My mom set up auto pay; dish net. billed the wrong account. They promised me a refund. It's passed the business days and I'm still waiting.
I called to get internet at my home since the commercial states, anytime, anywhere, only to be told I could not get it in my area. So actually what you are doing is false advertisement, right? I thought there are laws to protect against advertising straight out lies. Maybe I should contact an Attorney to see about suing you. If is not ANYTIME, ANYWHERE, you should NOT advertise it that way!! Too bad you don't have -0 for rating!!

dish network is a fraud. They are charging me for unreturned equipment which I have returned a while back. they shipped me a box that was unauthorized and even after I have returned the box they keep charging me unreturned equipment fee and now they have sent this to collections. I keep calling them and every time there is a new customer service agent who starts the conversation from zero. dish is a fraud company and I would never do business with them.

If you are looking for good internet service, keep on looking and do NOT stop here. My first encounter to start internet service was with a young woman in India that could not speak English very well. She forgot to mention that the 20 gig package we bought was a split package with 10 gigs anytime and the other 10 gigs were off peak from 2am to 8 am. I called a week later and the 800 number got me a young man in the Phillipines. I asked to speak with a U.S. supervisor and was connected to a lady in Colorado that spoke worse English than the first guy. The HIGH SPEED internet, at its best is not much better than dialup, and I am stuck with this garbage for 2 years...................Do yourself a favor and shop for internet service elsewhere.
BAD installation
Giving them one star is generous.........Dish was installed 10/2/13 by an apparently inexperienced technician. The TV was to be wall mounted so the technician drilled a hole through my wood wall behind where the TV would go .... NOT where the cable would connect to the receiver. Now I will have an. additional (besides power source and cable from receiver to TV) black cable coming down my white wall. Furthermore, he attached the black cable from the rooftop dish into the house to the white gutter downspout on the front of the house with black telephone ties. Real classy looking. Repeated callers to have the sloppy problems corrected have been fruitless. Hope their satellite service is better than their installation.
They expect me to pay to get their equipment back. What liars and thieves they are!!!!! Glad i have free tv now. Never pay for tv again
