Customer Service
The "customer service" agents for Dish network are as rude and uncaring as any I have ever encountered. I even asked for a supervisor and she was as rude if not more so. They sent out a technical support agent who read and re-read the manual for my television and for the Dish product and only scratched his head and did not fix the issue. The phone agents are curt and sometimes hateful.
the absolute worst
In a period of 2 months I sent and recieved more than 20 emails regarding getting bills of differing amounts each month. The responses I got were always the same and NEVEER addressed the problems. I discontinued my AutoPay and they continued to charge my credit card without any authorization or knowledge on my part. I am going to bring these matters to court and I am checking with my lawyer as to whether a class action lawsuit is possible after reading all these extremely negative remarks. I will try and contact each of you if I find this possible. They are the worst company I have ever dealt with.

I am writing in reference my dish account. Where do I begin your customer service is so bad that I had to cancel my dish account with you. I had tried on 3 different times to get a service to repair a problem at which no one showed up. therefore i canced my service. Now of the second time I am waiting on your executive part to get the boxes to my address. I have had nothing but problems with you. I guess I need to contact the better businees bureau to get your equipment to you .

Terrible Customer Service and Billing
I had a very upsetting experience with your agents over a mistake your company made. They refused to assist me, then "hung up" on me. My 6/21/2013 statement had a $2.12 balance that I paid in full on June 29, yet you turned off my service without any proper notice to me. It is not my fault your company chose to refund my husband's payment back to Western Union without notifying us first that there was a problem with that transaction. You had our money for over a month before refunding it to W.U. We never authorized this refund. Turn our service back on until we get that refund from us through Western Union or until you can mail us a new statement properly showing the unauthorized refund to them on our behalf. We sent you a double payment over a month ago. You had no problem keeping that money before you earned it. Now show us consideration by keeping our service on that we prepaid you in good faith, then again paid you the balance due on our last statement of June 22, 2013. We have never received another statement showing the balance your company is now claiming to be due of $85.85 days after we paid our statement in full and on time.

It is apparent that DISH has sent their customer service lines overseas and to people who have no say and no problems caring what you think about their service. Why should someone have to threaten to sue to get charges off their account that were not received... and that they have notes verifying that the services were not received... really??? is that what "customer service" has evolved down to now. I have a thousand friends around the world per Facebook and I am ready to let them all know to use anyone else but DISH for their service. I remember when DISH was a great company, and long for those days back.
Worst Service
upon termination of service, I was told that the receiver does not need to sent back because it was old, then a month later, i received an automatic call indicating that they will charge my card if the receiver is not sent back. Called customer service was told that know you should send it back and there is nothing we can do stop the charge. no acknowledgement that their person gave the wrong information. Go without cable but do not every go with DISH, ever.

my receiver went out this past Saturday. I was assured that I would be sent a new receiver 2 day delivery. This is Tuesday and no receiver in site. Why not have a tech bring a box and install a new one Monday morning when they know you have been without service already for 2 days.

I have had numerous problem with dish, every month I have been charged to much money and when I called I received a credit then told I would have to pay a set amount then got charged more the following month, I tried to resolve the issue and they told me I pretty much made up the person I talked to, I stopped auto pay when I got the credit then they still took money out of my account and I was charged an overdraft fee which they would not fix. I am very dissatisfied with this company.

I went online to pay my Bill and only had enough to pay half of it, so seeing as it wasnt' due for another 2 weeks I thought I would pay half now and half then..Authorized the amount of half to be taken from my checking account, 5 days later when it posted to my account at the bank, they took the half and then another transaction for the other half, causing me to get overdraft fees....then when you call and want to disconecct and go with someone else they want $332.5!! BULL!!!

Billing
Worst company I've ever had to deal with. I returned equipment and then get a bill saying that I haven't returned the equipment. I'm a retired person and unfortunately didn't keep a portion of the label so now they are demanding full payment of almost $500 for the equipment. To make it even worse I only had 2 pieces of equipment but they are charging me for 3. The installation person put 2 TV on one piece of equipment. Guess they don't care if you have to go hungry or without utilities for the summer months. All I can say is RUN people, RUN. The worst company you will ever have to deal with!
not what advertised
My grandson was told he could stream Netflix and signed a 3 year contract with Dish in Las Cruces, NM now they say it can't be done. He wants out of his contract so he can find an internet that will stream Netflix. They say no way.

Liars, liars, liars. Due to my computer freezing up, I accidently made two payments -- back to back within seconds. I called Dish and they assured me a refund. Long story short....3 different "customer service" agents told me 3 different stories. No refund....they just applied it to my next billing. This does NOT work for an elderly person on Soc Sec Disability. I have been with Dish since 1997.....but will soon be taking their dish and sticking it...well......elsewhere.
Past Customer
One of the most unreliable company and customer service I have seen is "DISH". First its telephone option after option does not provide an option or will NOT take you to a representative that can resolve issue. 2nd: When an idiot rep. finally gets on the phone, I have to repeat my needs several times. When finally frustrated and ask for a manager, I am not been transferred for several reasons.... Then left on hold for 20-25 mins. to get disconnected. The company has billing and customer service problems along with rep.s that can NOT be truthful, reliable and consistent.

Local Channels disappear
I think it is unprofessional to change local channels of an area and not notify households of the change. It is also not professional when there isn't any way to voice your concern with a live individual who can explain why. Maybe your representatives should be in the US so they can even understand your concerns.
Worst Customer service and Can't believe how many stupid they have answering questions
I guess Dish Network does not want new customers. I can't believe how terrible I was treated and all I wanted was some basic questions answered about the installation requirements. Their representatives were reading a canned script and couldn't even connect me to a person with any knowledge of their installation. Only to say we will send someone out, but if they have to come back because of any issues then you are going to have pay extra. I totally would never use or recommend this company in fact I can't wait to hit my facebook and let everyone know.
Big rip off all there want is your money with no satisfaction from the service. Lost signal 20 times since I had it hooked up.just three weeks
