I RECENTLY JOINED COSTCO AND 10 DAYS AGO PURCHASED A $500.00 TV FROM COSTCO.COM. WHEN IT WAS DELIVERED THE SET HAD A DAMAGED PIECE AND I CALLED YOUR "CONCIERGE SERVICE" WHO OFFERRED ABSOLUTELY NO HELP. I THEN CALLED COSTCO.COM WHO SAID I HAD TO CALL VIZIO, THE MANUFACTURER. IT SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN MY RESPONSIBILITY TO HAVE TO MAKE 7 PHONE CALLS TO FIX THIS PROBLEM. I HAVE DESTROYED MY COSTCO CARD AND WILL DISPUTE THE $50.00 FEE WITH AMERICAN EXPRESS SINCE COSTCO CERTAINLY DID NOT LIVE UP TO THEIR CLAIMS AND PROMISES. I have been a Costco customer for many years and have spent thousands of dollars feeding a family of six, to make a long story short my family and I have been treated like a bunch of nobodys at the Leesburg Va store, I have complained to the manager of the store to no avail, from this day on I will never step foot in any Costco store again. Walmart will get my money from now on, at least they treat you with respect

This is in response to Saneh R who wrote a commentary on 8/17/10 and all the other whiners. What a bunch of entitled babies. Yes, food falls on the floor and fruit isn't perfect and when your card expires you can't shop (even if you are in a hurry) and Larry Lindsey, why would you even want to take a gun to Costco?? You are outraged because Costco employees escorted you out? You are nutty enough but I'm sure you can imagine a scene developing if some "crazy" decides to grab your gun. God Bless America! She needs it and so do these poor people at Costco being used as scapegoats. I'm sorry your son was injured Ramona but I bet you weren't watching what he was doing. Your kids should stay in the car while you are pumping gas. But no, it's Costco's fault because a stacked brick (rock) fell on your kid's head. That's all we need is you clogged up the court system with such a lame problem. Relax. It's a jungle out there so please give folks that have to work so hard trying to please all of the crazy, angry, over-fed and abusive customers some respect. Reread some of the comments above and ask yourself how you would like to deal with lots of people like yourselves day in and day out. There must be a heaven where Costco workers get rewards as they watch complainers in a punishing, hellish environment. I think it would be best to drop all this interest in people's opinions. It's just inviting abuse. Americans have turned into raving maniacs imaging slights at every turn. NOT Costco's fault that you need to be treated with kid gloves.

Costco DOES NOT CARE if you SLIP * FALL on their FOOD SAMPLE products! Happened to me in Vacaville CA and Costco will NOT pay MEDICAL or compensation! Basic David & Golith message conveyed by Costco and the company that represents them, Gallagher & Bassett in IL! Stupid me, I thought COSTCO was a "superior corporate" friend....NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am saddened to see that my costco does not have a large variety of sugar free foods for diabetics. I was there three days ago and was looking for crystal light which is a sugar free drinx mix and discovered that they only had two flavors to choose from. disappointing, very sad, (tears welling up in eyes) smile. please, i am begging you, corporate, to remember the poor diabetics, we would like sugarfree ice cream that is sweetened with splenda, all the flavors of crystal light, and other food items. I am disabled and use the automatic chairs provided but the chairs are few and always uncharged. I love your mega store, it is awesome to shop there.

I've been an employee at Costco for almost ten years now. The member sevice HAS gone down, and the management basically treats the employees like crap. Yes it's wonderful to focus on the business, but you also have to take care of your members and your employees, so if the members and the employees aren't happy then your business is going to show the effects too. Anyone who is not topped out yet...I would suggest looking for a different job, because once you top out your are locked in. Even if you make less money YOUR happiness is the most important thing.

i am very upset with Costo!!! i've been a loyal member for years and had the unfortunate experience of falling at one of the store because there was food on the floor on one of their tasting days. i had to go to the hospital because immediately after my fall i had bruising and swelling and within the next couple of days it ony got worst. i was contacted by someone from their incident department who told me it was a good idea for me to go get checked out and then they denied to pay for the hospital bill. i wasnt trying to get any money out of them but they could've at least paid for the hospital bill and their reasoning is that the food was dropped by one of the member...what kind of customer appreciation is that!!! i'm sooo upset and have yet to receive a reply from their corporate office but should i be surprised!!!

For more than 10 years I have had an excellent relationship with Costco at several different locations. It continued up untill I filed Chapter 11 and of course lost my American express card. I continued to purchase at costco and use my debit card to pay untill I moved to China. Now I'll be back in the states in Atlanta Ga. working as a marketing consultant at the IWF Atlanta furniture show. I have a quick question, is there such a thing as a one month or two week membership that I can buy? I'll be back in Zhongshan China (no costco store here yet, we do have a Wal-Marts). In any case, Costco has always been excellent in all their services and we did a fair percentage of larger items (cameras, computers, meats, etc.). I would like to call your attn to one of your venders THE BIG HORN SAFE CO.I can only say good things about this co as I had a trucking problem on getting my safe delivered and when it finally was delivered it was damaged. I called Big Horn and explained my problem. A young lady named Amy Jensen took my call and said she would get on it and would call me back.Amy had another safe loaded and used another trucking co and I had my safe in 4 days.She called me everyday for an upgraded info and I was able to track the shipment until it was in my driveway. These people REALLY CARE and the whole attitude was wonderful.I was treated very well and would recammend this company and Amy to anyone. mike

back in april 2004, I purchased 2 metal bistro chairs (item # 754223)----I came back in a few months later to get the matching table and 4 more chairs but it was no longer in inventory and replaced with something else. Is there anyway someone could find the manfacturers name and number?
