To whom it may concern!!!!!! I was in the Yakima Washington Costco and I am not happy at all with your policie of not ringing up two receipts, I wanted to purchase a cake on a seprate ticket and was told that I would have to make two trips through the check out to make two purchases with one receipt per trip, I would have been okay with that but the thing is that in the past we have been able to do that but without notice they changed the rules, if I had been aware of this change maybe by posting it at the check out I would have been okay with that but nothing was posted. The thing is that I was not aware of this policie change and and was treated like I should have known this!!! Romaine lettuce, PRODUCT OF MEXICO, purchased 03/25/2011, at COSTCO on East Grant Road, Tucson, Arizona was FULL OF BUGS!!! Turning the product over to the US Department of Agriculture and State authorities.

In general, the Lancaster, Pa. store is clean and a good place to shop; however, I found health issues when I bought 4 rotisserie chickens on 3 different occasions. Each and every chicken was not fully cooked. The uncooked parts where the inner thigh and breast area that the thighs covered. Additionally, the chickens taste like they were soaked in a solution of sodium phosphate, which destroys the real flavor of the chicken. I notified a store representative about the uncooked parts and told the representative that the chickens had to be cooked more and that the thermometer had to be inserted between the thigh and the breast to determine if that area was properly cooked. A few weeks later, I bought the fourth chicken and the same area of the inner thigh and the breast was not fully cooked. Obviously, nothing was done to correct the problem. My next step is to contact their corporate offices about this matter. Has anyone else experienced the same problem?

Costco is great. I work for Costco by proxy and have no complaints about the level of service given to their members. Keep up the good work Costco.

I recently purchased a box of mangoes from Costco in Port Coquitlam BC. They were packaged and supposedly grown by/for Oppenheimer Foods. I contacted Oppenheimer asking for a refund as 90% of them were bad. No response. So now what do I do....keep all of the bad fruit from a 2 week period and take it back to Costco?? In my opinion this is not a good source of fruit for Costco.

COSTCO CATERS TO THEIVES!!!! AFTER I NOTIFIED YOU I WAS ROBBED AND WHO THE THEIF WAS YOU GAVE THE THEIF CASH FOR RETURNING TO YOUR STORE MY STOLEN PROPERTY!!! THEN YOU REFUSED TO REIMBURSE ME!!! Why would you perform such a horrible injustice to a customer who paid for a Membership in order to patronize your establishment? I needed that Laptop to earn a living so I wound up homeless...after being robbed by a con artist, Asa Gary! Costco's mistake and their refusal to make good ruined my life. I notified them the day I was robbed. The store Manager assured me that my account number, which would be entered should an attempt be made to return my laptop, was flagged thus causing the clerk to notify management before completing the transaction but NOOOooooo, the account wasn't flagged. IF ANYONE OUT THERE KNOWS AND CARES ABOUT ME, ANNE LAFLEUR, OR JUST SIMPLY CAN EMPATHIZE...BOYCOTT COSTCO NOW!

For all you people who don't realize like Rachel, the demo services at Costco are a different company. Costco has no control of the company called WDS or the people it employs. When someone complains to a costco manager about a demo employee or manager, it goes no where. Costco is not the one in charge. WDS is a company that contracts with costco to be able to have a business inside Costco. Any complaints need to go to WDS, not Costco. The comments about costco management wanting the same three employees working, I believe they were Asian, is completely wrong. These are not costco employees so it would not be up to costco who is working on any given day. Like I said, it is a different company in charge of the demo's. Don't blame Costco.

Sirs URGENT My phone rings every few minutes, The name on the phone shows Costco, when I lift the receiver all I hear is a bleep sound. On one ocassion it sounded like I may have got a call from a Fax machine. On Friday 18th I called the number on the phone which is the Tumwater store and they told me the number I called hadn't been used for five years. The two numbers I was called by are 360-757-5749 and 360-570-6400. I called the 6400 at 10:30 on Monday 21st March operator answered and transfered me to another department where I got a voice message saying there was no one in the office and my message would be answered in 24 hours which I hope you'll agree is unacceptable. The time of my call was 10:30am on 3/21/2011. I used to shop at the Issaquah store and now at the Mount Vernon store. As you have my last name please find my phone number in your computer. Thank you.

We love shopping at Costco in El Centro, Ca. but your hours are late. You should open up at least by 8 or 9 AM & not at 10 AM for everyone because we do have a business & travel to get to you & we are already open when you open so its very hard to come to you. Suggestion for businesses open earlier for us. Thank you

Purchased gas at the Mayfield OH store. Used my debit card for payment. The next day I looked at my bank account and was dismayed to find not only the deduction for the 28.92 the total of gas purchased but a hold on my account for 100.00. (03/11- and was told when I called my bank that this hold wouldn't be released until 3/15 evening) I am a senior citizen and this could have been a cause for my account to be overdrawn. When did this practice start?? The 28.92 was immediately removed, but the 100.00 hold remains for 5 days. I will never purchase gas at Costco again with my debit card. And in addition I paid 1.50 fee. This is a a potential big problem that could cause me or another customer to have bounced checks...Costo, Please do something about this problem

Poor for this particular thing. I have been a member for several yrs. Your coupon items of late are not satisfactory. The Coon Rapids, Mn store that I am close to does not have an item in the coupons. It happens every time now and they are very common and in demand items. I am very frustrated when I go to get my shopping done and cannot get what I want. I am in my 60's and do not want to drive (gas prices) all over the city to another Costco to find these products. If this continues, I , and several other women I know will not be going as often. The last two items that were not at my store was All (free and clear) and a popcorn offer (mini bags). This has been going on for quite awhile now . It did not use to be like this.

I have purchased my grocery's from costco for years in Irvine, CA this week I had my wedding ring in my purse and it was stolen out of my purse along with a several other pieces and contacted the manager there name Michelle at the Irvine District... the most uncaring treatment I received and heart breaking no one cared. I then went in to see her and she was not there so I left a msg. with the assistant manager to help me maybe possibly they can review the camera surveillance and no one did nothing I have lost over $30k but its the pain of the love for that piece which we had no insurance an no money to replace now... I was just at the Costco in Chantilly,Va and it was just to ask questions as a visitor. I informed the assistant manager at the front door that I was not a member but a guest and was not going to purchase anything at this time. My inquiry was that our son was getting married in July and we were interested in rejoining the club and just wanted to look at some various platters to purchase, of course based upon if we joined our not. He told me very rudely that absolutely not that guests are not allowed in the store even to just look. BTW, we were members of Costco last year and enjoyed shopping at the various stores and I explained that we were thinking of renewing our membership. How could we make a decision to join if we could not see the various products for our venue in July? I have never heard of a business not allowing a customer to view a product before purchasing a product. I have called several others Costco's in the area and they told us that it wouldn't be a problem if we checked in at the membership desk to have a look see. The assistant manager did not even offer this option of a check in at the membership desk. We were thinking of purchasing several hundred dollars worth of food and beverages for a fairly large dinner. I cannot emphasize how rude the assistant manager was at the front entrance. I didn't catch the assistant manager's name but it was approximately 10:30 am. EST.. That is the reason I have to give this visit a 1 Star, absolutely poor customer relations.

I was reciently at the Lakewood NJ location, wow what a mess with trash & litter. Is their " GREEN INITATIVE" nothing more than lip service, they should look at their own back yard.

Be warned if youe ever fall in a costco because they do not maintain their floors they will treat you like crap and tell you it is your fault. I fell in their store and they refused to even cover my medical bills. Corporate bullies won't get any more of my money

Lately the Costco in Merced Ca. has been unreasonable I used to go in and get my meds. and they would not say anything to me as the people know I have a card to shop there. Lately they are on everyones butt about this or that . For and example I went with my wife to the Merced store for lunch they could not except my debit card at the food court yet they except it at the checkout counter. The lines were very long and I did not have much time to wait in line. When you have 15 to 20 people waiting for the check out that is way to much time to wait. It looks like you customer service has hit a real low and you just don't seem care anymore.Lots of people I have talked to they say the same thing.

2/20/11 I purchased 3 pounds of cooked shrimp at my local Costco for $9.99 a pound for a party I was having. I usually cook my own shrimp, but I thought I would treat myself. The shrimp were extremely tough and I wound up throwing out 2 1/2 pounds because no one cared for them. What a waste of money. I used to purchase flank steak from Costco all the time, but stopped because several times the meat was extremely tough. I will not be renewing my membership in March. The quality is not worth the trip and the prices are not either.

It is a sad day when a large corporation like Costco turns a deaf ear to its customers and drops a product that is so popular. For many years we have been purchasing carrot cake for birthdays and special events from the Costco bakery. It was so good and compared to rival bakery cakes was much better. First the sheet cake was dropped and then the round carrot cake was dropped. Corporate has even stopped any special orders. This cake was always the cake of choice at all special events. I hope this posting will challenge corporate thinking and bring back this product as well as so many other products that have (without notice) disappeard off Costco's shelves.

Unfortunatelly miss Mary Johnson, they are a lot of unprofessionals, rude supervisors at demo services in costco, the reason these poor elderly people don't report them is because they need the extra income to survive and because if they speak up they will be left behind, they will not schedule them for weeks,you have no idea how vendictive some of these ladies are. My aunt works in one of the stores in San Jose Ca, the supervisor keeps telling them that she only schedule these 3 particular people because costco managers require them all the time. I think costco managers should concentrate on their own people and not create a hostile environment on this completelly different company WDS. Another reason why these particular supervisors get away with murder is because regional managers never check the stores, don't want to hear their employees concerns, they just go by what the person in charge is telling them. Amazingly this costco's "favorite people" steal so much product from the store and the demos they are doing, but they are never checked. They have a very smart clever way of doing it, they will never get caught. So the best for these people to do is to get out of that company. Eventually it will catch up with them. Everything comes to an end. you remember costco used to be price club? it ended right? Let's wait a few more years. Life is like a "bumerang" it will come back to you. These rottan people will eventually get what they deserve.
