Sears Kenmore Pro Dual Fuel Range

Have owned this $6000 dual fuel range since 2009. Last year, had to replace the oven temp probe $26. Now it appears the oven control board took a **** and that will cost us $190. I cannot believe we paid so much for this Kitchen Decoration that is already starting to break down. The oven temp control board is a joke. My dear wife loves her range but when she bakes, the beeping does not stop and the temperature fluxuates up and down. It is very frustrating. Never again...no more junk from Kenmore.

This is the most incompetent bunch I've ever seen. No clue on how to treat customers; no wonder there's never any cars in the lot or customers around. They leave the first custormer standing and rush to help the new one and then if you complain, you get a lecture from some old bag who would rather defend the practice then apologize. I was going to spend $100, but I'll take my business elsewhere. How do people like that stay in business???


The sears outlet in Livonia, really don't care about their customers. I bought a fridge and lasted one month, loosing $600 of food gone then got a replacement in about 2 weeks living out of coolers. Then this replacement died in 4 months since the replacement. We lost about $600 food again so the store just wants to give us a run around let live out of coolers again. Never again gonna purchase a singe thing from this company. Not even a craftsmen wrench, Nevertheless this company sucks!

for the last month i have tried to get a part and have had nothing but problems. i ordered the part. they took my money 18.98. and still no part. the thing that bothers me the most is the complete lack of communications.and leaving me without my lawnmower for over a month. am sorry i can't even say thank you..john joynson


I brought two items from sears in May. A refrigerator and a grill. The frig gave me problems...scheduled a service. Sears didn't show, or even bother to call to cancel. I had to call after waiting four hours and reschedule. a week later they showed with a new Frig. Last week my grill went out, and again I scheduled and appointment last wed.1-5. Never showed. I called and complained. They said they would be here on thursday between 8 and 12. I asked for earliest appointment. Again, didn't show or call. I called corporate. Spoke with a nice women MGR. in Home and Gardens who apologized profusely. Said she would straighten it out and call me back, as Sears had arbitrarily just rescheduled my appointment for today tuesday, a week later, without even checking with me. I have now called eight times to discuss this matter and had 12 hours of my time waisted on this grill...UNBELIEVABLE!!!!

Top Loading Washer

After reading some of these posts, I know i'm not alone. The quality and reliability that used to be associated wtih the Kenmore products is a thing of the past. All you get now are headaches, one after another. I have had my washer serviced twice for the same problem and now have to wait another week for a technician to come back out. When asked what they will do if it continues to have the same problem, their answer was "buy a new one". Easy to say for them, it's not their money that bought it in the 1st place!! Never again will I buy anything from Sears/K-mart!

5 times still wrong DELIVERY

SEARS, has failed in service. I have just had five(5) times the wrong box springs delivered. I have been put through hoops and still I don't have a bed box springs I asked for a manager and they hung-up on me. Now they said they will fix it 6th time. SEARS offered a 10% discount, really, you think I'm going to buy anything else from SEARS, when I cant even get the right items I ordered in June, Yep now its August. I don't know why happened to Sears, I used to always shop and buy from Sears, but now they have changed. Don't buy online from SEARS.


Sears had always been our go to store for appliances..sorry to say not anymore. We are need of a new refrigerator so we visited Sears in St. Peter's Mo. On 8/10/14. We found one that was a manages special for 1999.99 but was told that we had to pay 54.00 for delivery fee to get the item to a warehouse then another 85.00 for delivery to our home...are you kidding me??? That was the deal breaker for me...stop nickel and dimeing your customers!!!!! We were so disgusted with Sears... I'm done!!! Take care of your customers !!! Don't make us go to your competitors !!!! We will and have.

Horrible Customer Service and Big Time Liars

I purchased a Kenmore 6 Burner Stainless Steel front Gas Grill With Smoker on July 26, 2014. Promotin, if you purchase the Grill on this dated you will received Free Shipping and Free Assembly. Bull, first the price was wrong, second the grill was delivered damage. It's so F'ed up I not going to continue, it will take a life time for me to explain. I will Never, Never, purchase anything from Sears it's a nightmare, if anyone ask me about Sears, I will tell them, if you want to go too Hell shop there.

Bad Attitude

I recently returned a Sears Platinum battery with time remaining on the warranty to their auto service center because the battery would not hold a charge. Long story short, the employee said the battery was good because the special Sears testing machine said it was. My Schumacher battery tester said otherwise. Their machine looked like it came over on the Mayflower. They refused to accept the Schumacher's results even though it's a newer machine. Last summer my wife bought a Sears dryer that was supposed to come with a rack. It didn't and her efforts to obtain the rack went nowhere. Sears is a once great company circling the drain.

Store security is an issue. People walked out with tv in a box/people walked out with a cart full of $50+ jeans. Clothing is taken to change both and put on (leaving old there). As an employee /stockholder /concerned citizen this must be stopped. Too much theft. Once they get to parking lot everyone turns their head. What gives? You have great products-protect them! Order gone wrong

I ordered a garage opener by phone for store pick up. The unit that was described by the phone rep was not the one I rec'd. The rep misled me. I had to return to the store this morning to exchange it. I was told that the install would be done today but rec'd a call yesterday telling me the schedulers make mistakes frequently and the new day was Thursday. I rec'd an email receipt today that included the charge for the install. I did not authorize the charge to my card not was I told it would be charged before the install date. I just call to cancel the install and ask for a credit.p

Given the poor products an mishandling of the corporate interface with purchasers requests fro products from a single and multiple source layers and poor phone communication , customer service upon layers of contract or open source vendors for products : We used to purchase directly from sears we no longer come to sears as more and more individuals and groups are doing., previously purchased as and with the sears roebuck name that is no longer true among many other facts. Therefore, not only 100 plus stores are to be closed but many more and bankruptcy for good the end and dissolution will follow similar to yes Montgomery wards..


What can I say....RUN, RUN away from this purchase...mower stinks and reliability of service contract is far from excellent... Buy a John Deere, you will be better off!


I bought a refrigerator on 7/17/2014, delivered on 7/22/2014, they brought the wrong refrigerator, now I am still waiting on the right refrigerator, they have cancelled two times, now they say they will deliver on August 22, I think I should be compensated for all the time I have emptied my refrigerator and moved everything just so they could cancell me again at the last minute, this is not the way you do business, sears is not what it use to be, I will take my business else wher after this

Bad Management of Stores

Was in San Bernardino store last week. Manager was an errogant pig. He was walking the store with no regard for customers. Was rude to the staff he was speaking with. I found out that he was the district manager. Wow, no wonder the company dirves poor results, it shows in the upper leadership. I used to love sears. It is evident that the company is really hurting to the point that it will soon go under. Saw the same signs at Mervyns. Sorry Sears, I am spending my money elsewhere.

delay tatic

Dryer need repaired. Sears Repair came out to house and ordered part. Three times UPS delivered the part damaged. Appointment needs rescheduled again since I refused part. Who is daming the part Sears? UPS got charged for the last delivery before this one. UPS brought the caved in box to our door. I refused it and an agent claims a new part has been ordered. Called home office no help just on hold.

Never again! Ever!

I recently purchased a washer,dryer,refrigerator & a box spring & mattress. I can honestly say i will never shop in a sears store again. The delivery people were the rudest most ignorant people i have ever had to deal with. I cancelled the box spring & mattress a week before delivery & it still showed up. They now tell me i have to wait another 10 days to receive my money. It took them 5 minutes to take it from me but i have to wait. I worked retail for 20 years & would never consider treating a customer the way I've been treated, not because of policy, but because i wouldn't do that to another human being. This company should be ashamed.My money is good elsewhere, & that's where I'll be spending it from now on. I wonder how long it's gonna take to get the refund on the washer dryer I'm about to return. Never again! Ever! P.S. the star is only there so I can submit this. It should be negative 5 stars.

Repair service

To Whom it may concern, I am very disappointed with your repair service from Hicksville New York. Your service department can not repair my washer or dryer. The service men have been to my house 3 times. They ordered the wrong parts, they do not show up when the service department says they will. They change the date of service at the last minute. I loose a day waiting for them. I paid renewal service for both my washer and dryer and now it has been a month and it is still not repaired. I expect Sears to be more attentive to their loyal customers. I presume at this point that Sears will take the appropriate action to remediate this circumstance which has caused me pain and suffering. Thanking you in advance. Lillian Calisto

How are you still in business

You should be ashamed at yourself for the service and detail mismanagement you show to customers today. You are a joke in the appliance business, and you deserve that title. How in good faith can you possible let yourself stay in business and use the good name Sears once had. You are a classic example of what has happened to American retail. Do the people of this great country a favor and close your doors NOW.
