I purchased a Kenmore refrigerator @ Sears in July. The refrigerator is making a LOUD buzzing sound. I called sears customer service and they told me they didn't turn off the water valve when they delivered the refrigerator. (I don't have the ice maker hooked up) When speaking to customer service they set up a appt for me that friday btwn 8-12. I called the 800# on thursday to confirm they were coming. Only to find out there was NO record of the appt?? After going thru 2 or 3 people I had to reschedule for the following Saturday. Well the following Saturday comes and I get a call from the tech telling me he's on his way to fix my WASHING MACHINE!!!!???? So once again I have to get on the phone with INCOMPETENT associates only to find out that's the way itwas entered in the computer. So I now have to call Sears AGAIN and they offered me a 50.00 gift card. That doesn't help get the refrigerator fixed. So again after speaking to 2 people they couldn't get a tech out for 3 weeks so that makes it September 1st.. The incompetence is rampid, and unacceptable for a company as big as they are they should be ashamed of themselves. I'm done with Sears...

I understand why sears is losing. I odered a dishwaster from Sears.com, pd to have delivered and installed. Was on the phone for 25 minutes with an incomptent person from Customer Solutions telling me I had not paid form delivery and installation,after a while I asked her to cancel order. She came back and asked me three times if I wanted to cancel order, after much frustions I asked her if she understood english and she was english american. Finally after 30 minutes she said oh, you did pay for delivery and installation. I will never order from sears again. Also, I live in Richmond Ca and the Hilltop store is dark, dirty and staff is not trained.

Seems to me like a class action law suit needs to be file. We have also had a nightmare dealing with them to replace our power washer which is still under warranty and we just get the run around from them and they insulted my husband, and hung up on him.

We bought a washer/dryer and haven't had it for long and had to have the dispenser unit changed and I cannot tell you the very day it stoped working(AGAIN),loseing money,if I put soap and softner in it, can not use the bleach, it's ruined a lot of thing's. I called Sear's and did not get anywhere, sure wish I hadn't bought a dishwasher( that want dry) it's not a year old and also bought a 3 door refigerator I guess as they are leaving places(closing) they do not care about anyone's complants.Has anyone had trouble with any of the these?????

I wish someone would have told me how bad this place was to work at before I applied. Still employed, but I dont feel like an employee. I feel like I'm working for free. Its been three weeks and I havent been paid for anything, and now I might not get paid for another two weeks. I've learned next to nothing, none of my leads seem to care, and I'm left alone with no ability to help customers properly, constantly, due to being stuck in the "training" period, and there's nothing worse than a combination of all of that, and still be hated by customers for it when I cant answer a question. Honestly, I'm glad we dont have as many customers as the company used to. I would like to spare them this downward spiral of poor training and service. I'm new and I already dont want to work there anymore. To top it all off, I wasnt told our particular store would be closing before I was hired. There's nothing about working at Sears that I like. People in this company have stopped caring, and that hurts everyone, including employees. I wont be working there long. Thanks Sears, for being so heartless.

I received a Kenmore Washer and Dryer from Sears as a gift Jan of 2011 - So my Dryer stops working properly the heating mechanism is shot had to dry my clothes 2 or 3 times to dry properly. I called the service center and over and over for another tech and this tech and that tech and several parts being ordered and not being right till finally 3 weeks of that they gave me a credit to select another dryer - That dryer comes and doesn't work so they send another dryer that one only stays on for 8 seconds - I want another dryer - so they complied I received the dryer and same issue doesn't stay on Have to call once again for a tech on a brand new dryer Tech comes same day thank god and fixes the issue ... Now 5 days later My washing machine doesn't turn on !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am fed up - they can't send someone out for a whole week and 3 days - I have 3 disabled children - I can't just hang out at a laundry mat -Never AGAIN !!!! I want my money back or a new dryer.. There is no reason to pro long this WORST Customer service ever !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I purchased the Refrigidare/ freezer on 08/2010. For after 8 months, was already call in for services. With the warranty I bought to extended through 2013, still continue to have problems of the tempetures and the leaks for more than 3 other parts/ repair, I couldn't get to replaces the new fritz. I'm very frustrating with the customer services team ,plus they keep tranfer to one dept. to another like playing phone tag. A asking to speak with Manager is a joke, they don't have anyone online? "Sorry that person is not here Mam". Ridiculous ! Does Sears Company ever read these frustrated customers input? I did, If you know who you're in this Dept. & work for this Company, either you should be fired on the job or you don't have integrity of your own. Frustrated Cutomer!

I purchased a five-burner cooktop and a Kenmore dishwasher (made by Bosch) for my home about a year ago and was very happy with the the delivery and the service. I use the appliances every day and love them. With such great experience, I bought new Kenmore dishwashers for two nice rental homes that I own. The tenants have said wonderful things about them, so it was a good decision. More recently I called Sears service dept to repair my old Whirlpool washer. The repair was easy to coordinate and the cost wasn't bad at all. I'm a happy customer. I question the comments made by others. For example, Sears offers credit options for those with good credit history. I didn't pay interest at all because of their 0% interest program. Note to the person who had a bad experience working there...You might want to look within yourself. Maybe a better attitude might have given you a better experience...and no, I don't work for Sears and never have.

Horrible customer service, horrible customer service reps. I've talked to have a dozen reps and they all say something different. They sold me a defective freezer - it didn't work from day 1. They refused to take it back said I had to have it repaired. Repairman came out said it wasn't worth repairing and should be scrapped. Sears still didn't want to take it back. Finally got them to come get it, still haven't received any money back yet. They refuse to refund the delivery fee - so I've paid them a $70 fee to deliver a defective freezer and I have nothing for my money. DO NOT SHOP AT SEARS FOR ANY REASON. The company is inherently dishonest.

Give it up Brianna Walton. Sears, and especially Eddie, does not care about you. Where's your pride? Begging for your job back? Sears doesnt care about customers and care even less about thier employees. I was employed with sears for a total of over fifeteen years. Fulltime with benefits selling appliances for the past five years, and was terminated due to integrity issues. What???? Im still baffled. I have never cheated the company, and I especially have always taken pride in my job and have always had the highest of integrity as I was raised to do so. So Brianna, get your back up, hold your head high and move on to a company that just might actually value you as a person and as an employee.....good luck

Sears no longer is selling paint. Really. I still need 2 gallons to finish outside my house. Thanks sears, my business now goes elsewhere. I will not be back for anything.

I went through sears to get a computer through Computronics LLC out of Frisco Texas after getting the Computer the graphics card went out in three weeks. I called and e-mailed but heard nothing for a week. After the next e-mail Computronics emailed back saying that they would replace only for 30days. Dell has a problem with the graphics board and did nothing about it on the Latitude D630's. Some have replaced the motherboard three times and still have the same problem, graphics chip getting to hot. But Sears still lets Computronics sell through them. I will pay sears off and tear up my card.This is how SEARS is.

I moved to florida almost 2 years ago from Michigan and i have lived in different states too. If all these reviews are from state of florida I totally understand your problem. Now I won't say all these people here in florida but 99 1/2 percent of these people are LAZY! and the other 1/2 aren't from here and they do work! But they are hard to find. Retailers, Dr. Offices, Resturants, Hardware Stores, anywhere you go for the most part they want your money but they don't want to work!! Here is my suggestion and it has worked out beautifully!! I was very surprised!! Shop online, Shop the Shopping channels, Use your home phone to call shopping channels, or call out of state to any store, These people will bend over backwards to help or sell you anything and warenty is alot better,service is extra fast even to service what you have and they pay shipping to send to them if need. try it, on anything. even roof over cheaper, faster, very prompt workers come out, cheaper, you will this this way of doing business. Use Angie's list.com but out of state of florida and you can even call during lunchtime and there is always someone to help you these people don't take lunch at the same time either. I have been very stress free from not dealing with florida businesses!!

An hour and a half on the phone...same song and dance. Sear to me:The Kenmore Elite stainless steel refrigerator you purchased in 2009 is out of warranty so the rust which is appearing on the outside panels and handle are your problem. My complaint: Wait.....stainless steel shouldn't rust, right?

Sears is the worst company to deal with. Not so for a long time I thought highly of them. The sevice people are robots, programed not to help but frustrate. Don't go there.

I am also having many problems with sears repair service department. After 4 service calls at my home, my EXPENSIVE kenmore "elite" clothes dryer is still not working properly. And to boot the dryer has a new problem that it never had before AFTER the techician finally supposedly fixed it. I called yet again & again for another repair appointment and wanted to speak to a supervisor--I was put on hold and then got disconnected--When I called back I was advised by a snippy girl that that department was closed and I would have to call back tomorrow-- she was aware of my woes with this situation and all the inconveinence I have gone through, but when I told her I have been patient long enough and want a call back from someone in authority to solve this--she hung up on me--I will fight to get what should be done to remedy this matter--And if not compensated properly I will take further action through BBB and the channel 5 news. Buyer Beware--sears service leaves a lot to be desired and the quality of their appliances is not worth the price!!! I also bought a $2000.00 Sony TV from sears 5 years ago that now the color is off (the background tint is completely green). I will not spend more money for a repair service agreement (400.00) for the tv as I did with the washer and dryer!!! Why throw more money away because sears service agreements are only agreeable and serviceable to sears NOT their customers!!! Shame on you sears!!!

i went to the sears store in cambridge mass and paid for a dish washer. when i tried to call to see if they have the dishwasher in the store already they put me on hold for 15 minutes. i hung up and called again and they gave me an attitude. they never answered my question and i will be going there tomorrow to pick up the dishwasher, and if they dont have it i will cancel the order, and buy a dishwasher from homedepot. i never had problems with sears before. i bought a tv there a few years ago, and it went fine. but even when i went there to pay for the washer, the only guy working at the appliance department was on the phone for a good 30 minutes, and never asked if i needed help, and a employee who could only do search helped me until the guy on the phone finally helped me.

I own or I think I own ( headed to Sears repair shop for the second time) a craftsman PLATINUM MOWER.This mower was purchased on 05/11/2012. I am a 55 year old female that does not need to be lifting nor carrying heavy machinery one of the options on repair of product that Sears does not offer. I found it ridiculous to have to put a $400.00 plus dollar piece of equipment in the shop after only two months of use, that use only being a total of seven times. I also purchased an extended 3 year Master Protection Agreement in which the so called repair was applied to. When I picked the mower up I inquired about work that had been done, the male clerk told me my issues were not what needed repair it was only a carburator. Glad he and the repair apprentice figured that one out. Still don't know why he asked me what was the mower doing prior to the so called repair. Once I used the mower I was so embarrassed due to the sound alone a brand new mower sounded horrible. In the middle of my mowing task this mower again does the same thing it should not have done the first time. i am so damn disgusted with Sears. Did I forget to mention that another customer was in line with the same mower and had purchased it one day before my purchase. I want a new mower now! I feel like I have been ripped off .
