I cannot tell you how disappointed I was with your "NEW" flavors. You took an absolute stellar & unique rainbow sherbet (lime, pineapple & raspberry) and turned it into a very ordinary, less flavor and too sweet sherbet that everyone else has. You couldn't keep it on the shelf, why would you change it? Please sign me very disappointed as I cannot purchase it now. Guess that is one way to save money.

Safeway is slipping terribly and they should be reported! I have recently shopped at 3 Safeway stores in my new area and disappointed is an understatement! I work in exporting perishable food, so there are no excuses for frozen pancakes expiration April 2012 of last year. Specialty cheese puchased 2 days after expiration abd yesterday's store ... fried chicken in the "fresh prepared" section still hot - looked old and overcooked like rubber. Don't bother trying to contact customer support, as Im still on hold for 23 minutes now. I will spread the word on their lack of customer service & expired food.

I was generally pleased with my first time order for delivery. I was ordering for an elderly relative who has a long recuperation period ahead of her due to a fall. I had anticipated giving the driver a tip but was quite pleased to say that your drivers do not accept tips. Since I did not want the 87 year old relative to feel awkward, I offered the driver a $10 tip on order just over $80. Unfortunately, he accepted it. I plan on showing this relative how to use the system so she can order for herself. If she cannot, I will continue to order for her when I return to MA. But now, I fear, she may feel obligated to tip. I would suggest a retraining requirement for your drivers. The driver was courteous and helpful.

Went in to use my $.10 off for gas today and found out that Safeway now charges $,10 Gallon to use your Credit Card! Thank God for Costco up the street. Their Everyday Price is usually $.03 less than Safeway anyway! Gonna get my Gas Business from now on and Grocery Outlet, Costco, Qfc and Sunny Farms will SUPPLY my Groceries! My Daughter's Company spends about $3k a month on Gas for their Service trucks and she spends almost that much on Groceries for her Family of 7! She called this evening and Has the same plan as Me! Can't wait for Fred Meyer to finish their Project! BTW: We both pay 1.69% on all the credit cards we take in our Business, SO WHAT is with $.10 a GALLON CHARGE!

I have purchased Odwalla OJ 136oz (? largest size) from Willits Ca Safeway for years!! About 1-2 years ago the "New Low Price" was reduced from 9.99 to 7.99. I purchased two a week. Now the largest size is back up to 9.99 but all the others are still at the "low low price". The reason I was given is the 9.99 was now competitive in the area. This is rediclous. As if Safeway doesn't make enough, OR because there is only one other store in town? Either one stinks and makes Safeway look even more greedy!!

What has happened to the Safeway Store in Alliance, Nebraska? For the last 6 months there have been days (more than one time) when there is NO milk. Once I was in there when there was NO MEAT! They never have enough checkers and the lines are like 7-8 deep on two different stands. I waited in line for over 15 minutes the other day. Most of the time you have to bag your own groceries, and you definitely have to put them in your own cart and there is hardly EVER a person to help you to your car. Service stinks!!! I went to buy milk the other day and there was NO milk with an expiration date of past the day I was in there. Safeway is BEGGING people to shop elsewhere with the way things are going. There were 6 people at Customer Service yesterday waiting. It is a joke in there. Why are there not changes made??? Everyone is complaining....

I have called the HQ twice about the out of date Tuscan Butter in the Vons store on Lyons Ave, Newhall, CA 91321 TWICE. No response and the Tuscan Butter is still on the shelf with the dates October 2012 and April 2013. Seems like no one cares if you shop there or not!!I I am not the only neighbor that talks about the out of date dairy products.

I went to Safeway in Modesto Ca, on Friday May 11th to order a cake for the following day, I paid for the cake in full, i must of waited 30 min in front line to pay for the cake first then go back to bakery to take her the receipt then waited another 10 min, finally the lady gave me my receipt and told me to bring when picking up the cake. My husband went on Saturday around 2:30 or 3:00 and was told there was no cake made, it was very upsetting, he brought whatever cake they had made, which the frosting was not very good and the filling was rasberries and was not good either. i had a full house and i wasn't going to have my husband drive around to look for a cake, so i told him just bring whatever they have, he was given a $5.00 cash back coupon which in my opinion was cheap on their end, i would of given the customer 1/2 off for the inconvenience of not having the cake made. It was my first time ever buiyng a cake it will definitely be the last time. Their prices are too much and their customer service is not good.

I shopped at a Win Co recently not only have much better prices but there are no hoops to jump through no club card to track what you buy .I did not have to deal with just 4 u and their constant issues where I cannot get the deals Safeway advertises I have been a loyal customer for 30 plus years and I have seen the workers care less and become more frustrated with each passing year .I know the CEO has stepped down and I hope things will change for the better. The other really frustrating thing I forgot to mention is donations .This is a very touchy subject for many people .I personally feel that cancer in our country is more about what we ingest . We live in a country where food manufactures care more about money than what the product does to us. The F.D.A. does little to protect us. We have dangerous chemicals and because of Monsanto GMO'S in most processed food. There is alarming news about toxic pesticides and how the American honeybee has been dwindling and how it affects our bird populations. I am glad our local Vons has offered more organic products .I will continue to buy those.

when it rains or snows and the shopping carts are drenched, it makes it difficult to use these without first drying them off (see Costco for common sense and courtesy towards customers, tip #37). today when I asked several employees why there were no cloth handtowels they replied that Corporate wouldn't allow these in the budget (your store on Neider Ave, Coeur d'Alene, IDAHO). I think this is totally cheap on your part. Shame on you!!

I went to a Safeway, East Wenatchee Washington, and seen two younger male employees smoking weed In uniform. When I approached them and asked them If they thought they look "COOL" they simply replied "we ain't gonna get caught we can just have someone else pee for us." I was instantly disgusted with these two young men and I will Be contacting corp. By phone. About this. The service is terrible and when I mentioned this to someone in store they simply acted uninterested. I prefer to talk to corp. About this, where no relationships are formed between employees, and those higher listed.

I have to say I have not had any problems at Safeway except for the gas station in Damascus OR. Store #0521. I have returned stuff and had no problems. But I have complained several times about there not being directional arrows for directing cars to all go the same direction and have refused to go there for that reason. Not only do you get stuck at the pumps but it is dangerous when someone is trying to get out because someone parked in front of them going the opposite direction. But yesterday was my last visit. I waited 10 minutes for someone to wait on me and they served everyone around me and not me. The served the guy that came in after me and I waited another 5 minutes. I only went there because I had the 2x's gas thing added to my card. Too bad, I left, went to the 76 next door and got a car wash and 5 cents off. I will support them over Safeway gas from now on.

Roxborough Village Littleon Colorado. Could not believe what I saw this morning! Plastic water bottles left out in the sun/heat. Have you not heard of BPA? We live in a very small community and will pass on not to buy the bottled water. So sad your not watching out for the community!

 very disappointed with Safeway, I went in to buy groceries and my total cost was $79.88 and the manager didnt want to accept my bank check cause it was my first time using it with Safeway how embarrassing was that. i shopped at store number 0519 in renton wa did my shopping and at check out the checker did a cash back even after i turned it down they already took it out of my account when the clerk asked joe the manager about it joe said just give me the cash and theres nothing he could do about it

My MIL went and bought an apple pie from the bakery this morning and the baker said they were fresh from the oven. Once in the container my father grabbed it noticing the bottom of pie was ice cold and didn't think much til we were home and pie was MOLDY!!! We then went to return it and complain and the comstomer servixe lady was arguing with us and refusing to allow us to speak with an on duty manager who was watching the whole situation from 10 feet away. Awful service poor quality. And this was in bellevue wa!!!

I live in McMinnville, Oregon and our Safeway has the dirtiest buggies. I have emailed them to ask if they could pressure wash them with no reply! WOW Who wants to put their food in these?

I live in Alameda. usually I shop in safeway offen in southshore center safeway . their service is poor. You never can fine sale item before sale ends . Even after six or eight weeks they still tell you we do not have.When you have questions you hardly find somebody to help you. you shoud fire the person in charge. I think there has some way to improve the bad service .

Based on my conversation with Tom La Page at the Laguna Safeway in Elk Grove, we won't be burdening your store with accepting any more money from this family. Mr. La Page was argumentative, arrogant and rude and refused to listen to my complaint. Is this the low caliber of management employees that Safeway hires?
