I stayed at the Ramada Inn Olive Tree in San Luis Obispo at the end of March, 2011 and was very displeased with the customer service. The manager was very rude and the following occured: 1) He would not give us extra towels (2 adults & 1 child in the room) we got 2 towels, NOT ENOUGH!!! 2) He would not bring anything requested to our room, he would tell us to come back in 15 minutes 3) At check in he questioned the rate I got on the internet and said I didn't tell him there was a child (I spoke to him over the phone personnaly and I DID!!!) 4) Very unperfessional when answering the phone (he didn't even say the Ramada Inn) 5) When I asked if we could get our sheets changed he said no in front of me to the house keeper (keep in mind we stayed an additonal night, a total of 3 nights). I think we should have gotten a refund!
Some co-workers and I stayed at the Ramada Indy Airport in Indianapolis from March24- 26. We booked the rooms a month in advance through a company for a big conference that is held in Indy every year. Upon our arrival at around 830pm the staff checked us in and we went to our rooms. when we walked in there was only one towel for both rooms. The toilets had hair and urine all over them, the bathtub was full of hair the the sink still had toothpaste all over in it. The trash cans through out the rooms were over flowing with trash. the beds were then checked out and it was found that there was no pillow cases on the pillows. We called down to the front desk twice at two different times and no one would answer. I then walked down to the dest only to find that there was no one there once I found someone I then told them about all the problems with the room and asked for towels they said they would make a not of it. I then walked away and went back to my room. Myself and my coworkers cleaned up the room so that we could at least stay in the room because the hotel was booked full and so were the rest of the surrounding hotels because of the conference. we left for the conference the next morning thinking that our rooms would be cleaned while we were gone because of the complaint that we had made that night before. We returned from that day at the conference only to find that everything was the exact same as when we had left that morning. The only difference was that they made one out of the 4 beds in the rooms and there was still no pillow cases. So that night the front desk was called again and they told me that it was noted and would be taken care of. We set the trash out in the hallway to get picked up and it was still there when we checked out 2 days later and nothing had been done. I am still fighting them about it.
Several of my coworkers and myself attended FDIC Convention in Indianapolis in March. We booked two rooms (311/313) at 5601 Fortune Circle West 317-244-1221. As we walked into the room #313 we noticed that the trash can was filled with dirty paper plates and other trash. Later that night we notice that one of the bed were missing pillow cases and we located a large chunk of black hair in the bath tub. The next day while leaving the hotel to the convention the front desk was made aware of our finding which they didn't seem concerned. When we returned later that night we noticed that only one bed was made still missing the pillow case. The other bed was never touched nor was our trash removed from the first night. The bathroom was never touched nor did they leave fresh towels. I placed the trash outside of the door hoping for an employee to pick it up. Once again we made contact with the front desk about this matter they were sorry and gave us fresh towels. The next day while leaving for the Convention the pizza boxes were still in the hallway outside of our room. I have never been to a hotel like this before in all my years of traveling around the world. My coworked who booked the room was over charged they gave us one rate and charged him another. He made contact several times with the manager B. McMickle who was very unprofessional and hung the phone up on him. To all my fellow Firefighters please dont use this hotel next year during the FDIC!!!!!
I am in the Ramada Inn in Salina, Ks. I stay here about 70 nights a year --- I was staying at this location when it was the Holiday Inn. I cannot beleive the housekeeping in this place-- it is horriable -- I was here for 8 straight nights and never even got my bed changed. I come to my room and there are no towels, or the room hasen't beem cleaned, etc. During my stay in February I went three days without even getting my room cleaned. Tonight I came back to my room and it has barely been touched. I am going to look at another place to stay. In the past 6 years I have given this location over $16,000 and I cannot beleive the way I am being treated. The staff at the counter is great but housekeeping leaved a lot to be desired. The Honolulu Ramada Plaza Waikiki hotel was rated 4 stars and priced on line at $119 after not being able to get on a flight until the following morning. I phoned and explained I was debating whether to stay near the airport or come into town. I preferred the latter if they had a shuttle. They replied Roberts had picks that could get me to the airport for a 7AM flight. Unfortunately, after I had already taken Roberts' Shuttle ($9) and checked in, I asked them to help book a seat for the next morning. What a surprise, Roberts' requires a 2 day booking reservation, their offices don't open until 7AM, so I had to take a taxi to the tune of $31 + tip. Obviously they wanted the business and were willing to lie to get it. The room was decent (basic) but no screens on windows. Isn't this code in the UBC?
Some friends and myself decided to get together in Sarasota the weekend of March 18 through the 21st. We made reservations a month before at the Ramada Waterfront Hotel located at 7150 North Tamiami Trail in Sarasota, FL. Upon arrival, the room we had been promised was no longer available because they gave it to someone else so they moved us to a less desirable room. The next morning, the housekeeper advised us to vacate because checkout was at 11AM. We advised her we were staying the weekend but she said the room was already reserved for someone else who will be arriving today. They had only put us down for one night after we had reserved the room for the weekend.. Instead of putting the guest that would be arriving into another room, we were asked to relocate.. Unbelievable!!! They said we would be moved to a condo suite, which actually turned out to be a standard room that wasn't even ready to be rented.. No shower curtain, cracked toilet and a non-working TV without a remote.. Pathetic excuse for a hotel, especially with the customer service we received from the staff. If it weren't for the Tiki Bar and the restaurant located on the property, the total weekend would have been a bust. I will never stay at this hotel nor will I ever recommend this place to my worst enemy.. This property used to be operated by the Cay Club, which at least treated it's customers with respect but still didn't have enough help.. This was my last time staying here!!!
Ramada on 12027 N 28th Drive, Phoenix, AZ 85029 (602) 548-6000 ‎is very bad, manager stealing money, Housekeeper not only working with identity documents she bought from the very own of the hotel, but also has illegals working under different names and docs while paying them cash. But there is more, the place is used for prostitution purposes, and last worst of all to make Snuff films.
The resturant at the Cortland, NY Ramada is a joke. We had 2 Rib-eye steak dinners on Feb. 14th. They were not propperly cooked as per ordered, they were very tough, the baked patotoes were more like micro waved, and tne beverages were flat with no flavor. We left full, but not satisfied. A returd visit is not very likely.
The worst experience ever. If I could give it zero stars I would have. mold in the shower, dirty rags behind the door. No cups and when we asked for some they brought us only one. the toilet paper holder was broken so the roll stayed on the floor, and there was a huge clorox spill right outside our room that was rotting the carpet out. The heat didn't work, the entire building was cold and breakfast was a joke. No coffee, no hot water for tea or cocoa and there was food and trash all over the floor. It was new years and the parties from the night before were still evident at 10 in the morning. Including beer cans floating in the pool and womens underwear in the hallway. There were rust stains and grime even on the ceiling. Dust and dirt built up along the edge of the wall in the bathroom. Management should be ashamed and corporate should find new people to manage this dump!!! This one is in Colby Kansas. Do not use it unless absolutely necessary!!!
fortunately I stayed one night at the Ramada West Hollywood/Beverly Hills. While the concierge was helpful and courteous, the room was pitiful and unsanitary. There was mold all around the tub, in the corner on the floor, the cap was off the shower head, the tub drain was laying on the side of the tub, there were filthy spots all over the floor and most disgusting was a white crusty substance all over the seat of the chair in the room. It was disgusting! I will never stay at a Ramada again.
I am irate!!!!! I stayed at San Diego Sea World Ramada Limited with my three children. The room was dark, and dirty! We were actually in town for three days but left to a new hotel the next day. The day before we are due to fly back to Hawaii I checked my bank card and found out that I had been charged $200 for SMOKING IN MY ROOM! I DO NOT SMOKE anything. I called the hotel and asked for a refund and was told that they could not do anything until Monday morning when the general manager was back in. As of now I do not know how I will pay to send my checked bags back to Hawaii or to feed my children tomorrow..... I will never stay at Ramada again, even if I am given a refund.
We booked a stay at the Ramada near the Orlando Airport as we had returned from a cruise and our plane was not until the following day. The place is a mess. The lobby is filthy - the people could care less. The first room smelled like an ashtray so I requested a non-smoking room - the clerk said it was a non smoking room so we told her that she must have had some previous customer who didn't pay attention. She gave me another room - that room had a messy bed, towels on floor and smelled really bad. I requested another room and that room had been picked up - bed made, but I think the sheets had not been changed and the bathroom was disgusting - we had one washcloth and two bath towels - no hand towels and the coffee pot still had the filter in it (which had turned moldy) from the last visitor. Nothing like being afraid to walk on the carpet without shoes and sleep in the bed without being fully clothed. Never again.
Today, I contacted Ramada Minneapolis NW Grand Rios to redeem gift certificates that my brother purchased for my family for a two-night stay and admission for four to the water park. These gift certificates included a dinner for four as well at one of two restaurants at the hotel. In other words, he spent his hard-earned money so that my family and I could enjoy a very rare vacation together, and he did this from his post in Afghanistan serving our country, and he is still there. They informed me that they no longer accept gift certificates. I, of course, was livid as the expiration date on the certificates is 12/30/2010. I wanted to use them before they expired. Mark told me they are under new ownership. So, is that supposed to be my problem or my brother's problem??? I don't think so. When you purchase a company I would think you incur any debt the previous owners had. I will be contacting Consumer Affairs next, and whomever else I need to to be heard and either have my brother get his money back or honor these gift certificates as they rightly should.
WE STAYED AT THE RAMADA NORTH COLUMBUS OHIO, WENT TO THE ROOM AT NIGHT ONLY TO FIND THE COFFEE MACHINE WITH GROUNDS ALL OVER, THE BED NOT MADE AND PILLOWS IN DISARAY. CALLED THE FRONT DESK ONLY FOR THEM TO BRING CLEAN SHEETS WITH NO PILLOW CASES AND MADE US MAKE OUR OWN BED, THIS WAS THE WORST NIGHT THAT WE HAD EVER SPENT IN A HOTEL. I DO NOT RECCOMEND THIS TO ANYONE AS THE MANANGER DID NOT EVEN OFFER TO COMPENSATE OR MOVE US TO ANOTHER ROOM.
We checked into a Ramada hotel on 9/28/10 in Beaumont, TX. We were swarmed by roaches all over the place, so bad that we had to bring our bags back to the car so the bugs wouldn't get into them. The room smelled musty when we came in and there was mold on the ceiling. We travel with our job and stay in a hotel every night. We have stayed in some pretty lousy hotels for way less money and frankly, they didn't have bugs. Ramada has always been known as a "brand name" hotel and i will never stay in another Ramada again. Trying to sleep surrounded by bugs is almost impossible!
On the weekend of 9/16 - 9/17 we had a group of 55 women stay at your Wickliffe, Ohio Ramada Plaza Cleveland East. We made the reservations 2 months in advance. When we reserved the rooms we were offered complimentary continental breakfast. When we arrived there were papers in the room stating the the complimentary continental breakfasts were no longer available... no one called us about this. So when we went to the in hotel restaurant for breakfast we were shocked to find only one cook and one waitress. We only had an hour and a half to eat before we had to check out and leave and catch our bus. More than half of our women did not get served at all. The rooms were dirty, and one of the rooms the commode did not even flush and the 2 ladies had to be moved. One room had dirty, used beer bottles on the floor when we checked in. There were bugs in some of the rooms. The fitness area had torn weight bench cables and no adjustments for the weights. It was a very disappointing stay and based on this Ramada I would not stay in another Ramada again. I speak for the other ladies, as I was the leader of the group, that the other ladies feel the same way I do.
We stayed at the Ramada Inn Airport on N. Lindbergh Blvd in St. Louis. This was the worst hotel that I have ever stayed in. The staff was not friendly or helpful. We stayed 9/16/10 to 9/18/10, where I was attending the Joyce Meyer Conference. When we checked in and was heading up to the second floor you could smell mold and mildew terribly. We did not have eough towels or washclothes. We were never given toilet paper for a refill. Of course I was busy going back and forth between conferences but that was unexceptable even to sleep in. I wiped the door frame out with a couple paper towels and they were black from the filth and the mold. The hotels website states that there is a swimming pool but there is not. When I asked the front desk about it they said it has not been there for a year or longer. There is a pool there and it was empty of water. The staff knows a year in advance when the Joyce Meyer Conferences are and still cannot provide enough food for the ladies. They also did not make coffee or turn the juice machine on the first morning. I have stayed at other Ramadas before and have been satisfied. This one was no where near worth $99.00 a night. This place needs an inspection and probably shut down. The ice machines wouldn't work. Also, when reaching into the vending machine to pull out a snack there were cigarette butts in the bottom of it. This is the last time I will be ripped off!
To whom it may concern my husband and myself booked a week stay and the Ramada in downtown Hollywood In florida, and to be frank this has been a nightmare from the moment we checked in, the first room they gave us looked as thought someone just was staying there, it was filthy the carpet was full of stains it had a terrible odor and someone even used the bathroom and and didnt flush and just left it there just plain disgusting, so we called the front desk and complained they immediately moved us to another room on a different floor at first glance seemed to be a little better but after 2 days there the night mare continued beside the awful stench of urined in the elevators and the leaking ceilings everywhere house keeping called themselves cleaning our room while we were out all day when we came back to the room tired we went straight to sleep woke up the following morning to see the pillow we slept on had some sort of fungus on it. we contacted the front desk again and the manager took off the fee for parking which we were grateful for but still didnt think was enough we are scheduled to check out on tomorrow 9/10 but unfortunately cant bare this anymore and will be checking out early. you can contact me if you need to at J_maisonave@yahoo.com I can honestly say i will never stay at any Ramada facillity nor recomend it to any of my family or friends we are in the year 2012 and having to deal with these conditions when staying in an hotel shouldnt be something i would think i would have to deal with not at " Ramada" motel six or lodge maybe.
house keeping very poor staying at ramada in gaumgave me towels that smell like piss . carpets never vacumed . staying here while working at the naval base . dont have time to ask every day for .what sould have been done by house keeping . we are paying for a service that is not being done
We were at Ramada Inn Main gate west Orlando, the worst hotel we ever stayed in our life, chlorine smell since you get at the front door, mildew everywhere, super dirty, and the worse part was the room, absolutely disgusting, dirt nasty tub, nasty furnitures and the bed terrible conditions, the shits were riped so we slept in our own clothes so our skin didn't touch anything, it was a nightmare, we rent a three star hotel and this is no even one, as a corporation you have to do inspections on every hotel that have your name, because never again in my life we are going to the Ramada, and i'm going to make sure to let my friends know about it, i don't want my friends to have that terrible experience.
