Do not ever stay at the Ramada in Charlotte, NC. This hotel is run by Shankar LLC and the general manager is Barti Patel. During our visit, one of the "long term renters" in the hotel tried to run a scam on us by calling the room and trying to get credit information by claiming the hotels computers where down. When the police came to take a report, the manager got irate because the staff called police when people started complaining. Ms. Patel was more interested in the low life scum that she gets welfare checks off of than the general public that she should be protecting. Never, never stay at this or any hotel that is run by Shankar, LLC.
My son myself and my mother who is dying of Cancer stayed at the hotel in Akron Ohio last weekend and got no help from the staff. I had to carry our bags and other stuff to the room myself and then had to give my mother cold showers due to no hot water. This was a real nice trip for my mom. I will never ever go to another hotel of yours.
I stayed at your franchise, in lewiston mainem please i thught this was a faimly placse, drunksm walking around alnight, hell they even had hookers there, very, very un happy, never to stay at ramada, to each there own but I do not think, you should advertze, FAIMLY, that it is not

AND THE PLATE LOOK LIKE A TWO YEAR OLD FIX, AND THE MAIN COURSE WAS SLOPPY PLATED IT WAS NOT FIX FOR DOG TO EAT, ALL THE GUEST FELT LIKE THAT. THE MANGER WAS UNWILLING TO TALK TO US WHEN WE WENT TO TALK TO HIM. WE NEED OUR MONEY BACK. VERY UNPROFFESSIONAL.
We attempted to stay in the Hazelton PA. Ramada Inn this was the scariest filthiest bed bug infested place. Found bed bugs in the room and the room smelled gross like wet and pubic hairs on the bed spread. This place needs burned to the ground gross in there defense they gave us our money back which I thank the lady at the desk. Anyone staying here is a idiot or plane dont care.
The maids let someone in my room and took my lap top 600.00 value. I will never stay the in Oklahoma they only said sorry that don't cut it. I think the maid shoulkd be fired on the spot.
The Ramada Inn on Bannock in Denver, CO, is disgusting. The premesis was not in good repair. The back door wouldn't close, consequently there was no security at all. Twice I mentioned it to someone at the front desk. Their reply "I'll tell maintanence." The pool was filthy. The hot tub had things floating and things on the bottom such as a large juice bottle, the end cover for a syringe, cigarette butts, just to name a few. The room had no dresser, large black spots on the red rug, the bathroom wasn't as clean as I would have liked. Then, after a Rockies game, we called to have the van pick us up. The 3 of us got in the back seat. The driver then jammed in 8 more people in the middle seat and front seat, including 2 toddlers sitting on laps. I demanded to get out. I told the driver these people will have to wait and she will take us back to the hotel first! Never stay a Ramada Inn!!!
I went on yesterday to the Ramada at lake Shore Chicago to have the buffet breakfast. The restaurant was advertising $1.00 0ff breakfast buffet and 15% for lunch. The sign at the front of the restaurant stated that the breakfast buffet was $9.95 and the menu stated that it was $10.95. I printed the flyer from the internet. The flyer stated that I would get one dollar off. It did not state that the coupon had already been deducted nor did it appear on the ad. Of course if there was an exclusion it should have been on the flyer but it was not. I asked for the manager who I never saw. He or she never came out but called the cashier and told her that since it was a special I could not get the dollar off. I paid the amount but unfortunately the person that waited on me didn't seem to be concerned therefore there was no tip. though I've been retired almost two years after working at a major bank, I know customer service when I see it. This hotel gets a lot of business especially since it's near the President residence in chicago but their competition will be opening very soon around the corner three blocks from Lake Shore Drive. That hotel is a hyatt hotel. It would be a good idea that the manager, owners, and worker understand that it is important to give the best customer service. Many schools, business people frequent this facility, that could soon fade away. I think that i'll just wait to spend my money at the Hyatt when it opens and not give my money to the Ramada
I arrive at the Norfolk va location on military hwy, first the messed up my reservation and rates , even though I had a confirmation printout the refused to honor it. Then wanted to charge me an additional 13 % to boot. When I get my key there was another customer in the room Wow. As if that wasn't enough they give me another room with a dirty bathroom, lets do this one more time to get wet towels, they said it was because they were washed , I replied " what no dryer" Omg save yourself stay away
People who write lengthy paragraphs about how angry they are concerning a previous stay really need to get a life. Spend your time on something useful. This is why America is becoming lazy.
Location: Ramada Limited in Rutland, Vermont. First of all, we did not have too much choice in the hotels in Rutland. Everything was booked. It was either a room at $226.00/night or a smoking room at the Holiday Inn. We choose the Ramada because of it's reputation. We did not know that it was privately own (franchise). Be aware of stained bed cover, carpet, walls. That specific location rented a space under neat our bedroom to a business. I was telling my husband that if he decided to walk in the room please put your shoes on. We keep on saying "it's only for one night" Once we woke up at 9:00am, I said "let's get out of here". Outside garbage, located right at the door, was over flowing with garbage. At the reception for out check-out, the girl was wearing a hoody, no uniform. Her name tag was a piece of paper with her name on it and taped to the Ramada tag. It was a good thing that she did not ask to know how was our stay? Lucky for her! Was there breakfast offered we will never know and we did not care. We just wanted to get out of there. We preferred to have breakfast at the McDonald's, down the street. Does Ramada ever send someone to check on those franchises? We always taught that Ramada was in the same lime of quality of the Holiday Inn, Best Western,etc.. My husband and I agreed yesterday that we would have had a better stay in the smoking room of the Holiday Inn. Be aware of that location!!!! We will never recommand this location.
nointernet service - have to hold toilet handle to flush - no food at breakfast - go too early no coffee - go too late no coffee or danish
Two friends and I made reservations on Booking.com for two nights. I asked for a cot and notified booking it ws for 3 adults. I printed out my confirmation and took with me to Niagra Falls, Ont.The cot was terrible. It didn't have springs that would support an adult. The springs were held together by hooks and there were only about 12 in the whole bed. We were told we had to pay $10 for parking each night. When we checked out, the bill was a HUNDRED DOLLARS MORE! We were charged $10 each night for parking,$10 for an extra person in the room, some taxes?? not sure what are plus $10 each night for the cot. NEVER STAY IN NIAGRA FALLS RAMADA ON LUNDY'S LANE!!!
I was on a bus trip touring the Southwest U.S. with a reputable tour company this July. Everywhere we stayed was very nice EXCEPT the Ramada Conference Center, 1616 West Crawford Street, Salina KS. The lobby, restaurants, pool with slide (all the extras) were okay. However, the room we were given was in poor condition -- mold not scrubbed from the toilet, dirty tub, old stained toilet seat, lots of dust and dirt in the corners of the bathroom -- looked like it hadn't had a "good" cleaning in years!!! I took pictures of the bathroom. The rug in the bedroom was stained and dirty, drapes on the windows were badly wrinkled, bed was okay (no bed bugs visable) -- but the place was dirty and creepy!! My roommate and I couldn't sleep very well in this mess. In the morning (after about 3 hours of sleep), the continental breakfast wasn't very much, but I guess could be rated as "passable." When I complained to the desk clerk in the morning as we were leaving, she looked embarrassed, but only said she would tell the housekeeping manager! I replied that that probably wouldn't do any good since the room was neglected for some time! I told her the hotel manager should really check the rooms in the hotel, because apparently he or she is paying housekeeping for doing a poor job. NEVER AGAIN WILL I STAY IN A RAMADA AND I HOPE TOUR BUSSES STOP STAYING AT RAMADA'S ALSO. Ramada used to be a top name in hotels -- what has happened? Do they not care that they are losing customers everyday??
I would give you zero stars if that were an option. Thank you for reminding me why I do not intent to travel to the third world when I can experience it in Seattle. Our hotel room at the Seattle airport was atrocious in so many ways: From the phone call to our room, right after check in, trying to scam us out of our credit card number and personal information, to the hairdryer that sparked and almost set my hair on fire. WHy the unsafe conditions you expose travellers to is not public knowledge I don't know. I wish I had taken videos and posted them on You Tube, that would get the word out about how bad your hotel is.
I would give a 0 if I could. Our electric went out and they gave us no answers as to why, when it will come on or any compensation. I got sick w/out air as I have M.S and had to go to urgent care. I was w/ my 82 yr old mom and there were NO back up lights in the rooms or exit signs or parking lot lights.Thought that was a law. We were offered a glow stick for light, if it was not me that would be laughable. We were there only 1 nite for a funeral and it only made everything that much worse. The man actually called me a week later front office person, offered me 20 percent off. I should not have to pay a penny. I WILL NEVER STAY OR RECCOMMEND THIS HOTEL OR CHAIN TO ANYONE!!!
Horrible stay at the Ramada Plaza Hotel Resort in Ft Lauderdale, Florida Ramada Ft Lauderdale Hotel & Resort 5100 N. State Road 7 from 6/20/2012 thru 6/22/2012. The lobby area and the reception area for the cruises were nice and clean. Yet, when you take the elevator up to the floors to the rooms, they were all filthy. I could not believe how dirty the carpet was on all floors (slick with dirt)and the aweful damp molded smell in the rooms, that came from the vents. All the guest were complaining. I complained to the desk clerk and he said he would send maintenance up to check everything out and arrange for another room if necessary. After waiting a while and no response. I escalated it to the manager and he said, the hotel was full and could not give us another room. He just sent someone to the room to spray the vent with air freshner and said it was due to the carpet cleaning...really??? What did they clean the carpet with....dirty mop water!!The manager and staff had a really nasty attitude. I told the night manager on 6/21 that I would contact corporate and he responded "Go ahead..I don't care". Unbelievable!! The next morning, the day manager continuously called our room asking if we needed anything, and was courteous. could it be that the nasty night manager left a message for her. I have never been to a Ramada Inn that was so filthy and the staff had such nasty attitudes.
The Ramada Inn in Hays, Kansas is a disgrace. It is poorly lighted, poorly maintained, the room (our second, because the first had no working HVAC controls) was not clean -- walls were dirty, bathroom fixtures were dirty, there was either blood or catsup on one bathroom wall, bathroom ceiling was rusted and moldy, ceiling tiles throughout the entire building were warped, water stained and in many areas, in danger of falling. Hallway carpeting was stained and, apparently never vacuumed. It is primarily a non-smoking facility -- thank heavens -- because it is one huge fire trap with inadequate exits. The bed pillows were dead, the mattress sagged, the carpet in the room was stained. Altogether, a thoroughly disgusting experience which will keep us from booking at future Ramada Inns.
On 06/03/12 my family and I recieved a room at the Ramada Inn Maingate West in Kissimme fl (7491 west hwy 192). If you value comfort this is not the place to stay. The manager has a serious atitude problem and dont know the first thing about customer service. The maids threw out personal items of ours without our promission and one even defecated in our bathroom when they were suppose to be cleaning it! But there worst problem is there infested with bugs. Mostly ants and my sister spotted a waterbug( a maintenence man removed it). The manager offered us coupons for a free breakfast buffet that they served early mornings but we passed. There was no way i was accepting food from a place so invested. Gross!
Not in a million years would I ever think that the Ramada would ever be on the level of the "Ramada Staten Island".. My family and I stayed in that "less than a dump". in August 2012. Pathetic.. I am still getting over the shock and still trying to get reimbursed for what they charged me to stay there. Best to just sleep in your vehicle.............. Filthy carpetes. filthy bedding. drapes filthy and would not even close.. No elevator. A fire trap.....................
