Pollo tropical on 87ave and 40 st Miami fl 33165. They have rude employees. Food was horrible Tasted like they spary clean chemicals. I ask nicely if they can return the chick cause it tasted bad. The employees laugh in my face and told me that all the chicks tastes the same. So I ask for the manager and another employees said that they were the manager. She said that she was the only manager and owner, laughing all the time. I HIGHLY RECOMMED NOT TO EAT AT THIS LOCATION HORRIBLE FOOD AND SERVICE NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!

I was by the drive thru yesterday May 22, 2012 at dixie hwy and 17th st fort lauderdale, FL location at around 4:40pm and the girl at the window was extremetly rude to me. I ordered one meal and for some reason she herad two, so when she gave the two boxes i rejected them, she got very nasty, took $5.00 out of the register and gave them to me slaming the sliding window on my face. What is wrong whit this peaple? If you are so unhappy at your job, why are you there in the first place? There are tons of jobs just like that one where maybe you will feel better. That was very rude.

I wrote a note about an annoying drive thru guy, which was not posted. Anyway, corporate H.R. did call me and they are looking into it. Good Job! Thanks.

Well, after reading these posts, I think what you've all experienced is typical from people today. What my daughter experienced is sexual harrassment! You don't go through a drive through to hear anything but "THANK YOU" and get your food! This freak was talking about how beautiful she was, and trying to grab her hands when giving her food to her, and her change, Asking her to let him borrow her car and more. It is totally disgusting to not just be able to get a lunch without being harrassed by some idiot like that! So far, no call back from corporate. Hope he doesn't do this to the wrong person, or he may end up never doing it again! She had some STRONG mace. Wish she'd have used it, but then, of course it would have somehow been twisted into a racial thing!

I dont know if anybody reaaly reads these comments but I will say that I am tired of the order mistakes at these restaurants. I go to the pollo tropical in jupiter and ordered two chicken cesar salads from the drive thru and got home to find no chicken for either of the salads. I also ordered the fried yucca with the garlic dipping sauce and did not receive that either. I called and spoke to the manager and told him this and he said to come back to the store . That was pretty obvious to me. I guess the word sorry is not something managers at pollo tropical say to customers when they mess up orders and inconvenience people. He also said the fried yucca did not come with sauce. Maybe he should try reading the menu because it says right on the menu fried yucca with garlic-cilantro dipping sauce. It's a shame the customer service is so lacking because your food is good. Your employees need to learn the menu and better customer service skills

To tell the truth, P.T. is no longer a nice place my family used to go to eat, and not only I, but many other costumers feel the same, it feels like another McDonald fast food franchise with the smell to warmed food instead of recently made, the menu needs more variation (f.e. grained corn or corn in a cob), the look on the food should be improved and not look like its right out of canned foods when served to costumers, the costumer service where i go is above all the best you can ask, but the products can sometimes be either burnt or too dry. The black beans need to be more watery, they look like a bean pasta not what black beans should be like. Above all, they should improve their marketing options and make it more Tropical style which is what they should be offering!

On 1/30/2010 I myself My pastor and OUR Bishop Visited Polo on 300 N State Rd 7 at 10:30 We were told we could not go inside of the resturant, which was suspose to be opened, when going through the drive throught I was told they were out of chicken and ribs and could not do a combo meal, When Asking to Speak to a manager about not being able to enter the Resturant, I was told to pull off or they would call the police. WOW I believe I am join to put a suit in against this company... This is too much..

My husband and I have always loved your food,and when we lived in Miami we ate there at least once a week.We moved to brevard county seven years ago and there's not any Cuban food over here.We went to Orlando the other day and had some pollo tropical and it was great.Really wish you would open a store up over here.It would do good over here off 520 on Merritt Island,near Cocoa Beach.

I need someone from the headquarters to contact me as soon as possible. I visited one of the locations and ordered 2 Caesar salads and the chicken was burnt completely, returned them and they replaced them with two more burnt ones. What the fuck? People are hungry and go here,have to waste gas, to go back, time and get even more angry because they are hungry. I am pissed. This was the pollo tropical on west colonial drive, orlando, FL. I will never go here again and the people I know will not be going here either. And their damn customer service sucks. No one apologized for the nasty chicken and they did the same shit on the new salads.

I can't for the life of me figure out how a restaurant that is open until midnight runs out of chicken at 10:00pm. And its not at one location but at all locations here in Miami. It is very disappointing because I get off of work at 11:00 and because I dont really care for BK or Wendy's, I wanted to get something from Pollo Tropical. And to top it off, the drive thru lines be long as hell, just to get to the menu and be told "We dont have any chicken." No apologies, no explanation, nothing. I know this is just a message board and nobody from headquarters will actually see this but if enough people actually call the corporate office, there should be some movement on their end to ensure there is chicken to last thru closing...or close the restaurant at 10:00!!!

Location 1819 S Federal Highway Fortlauderdale fl 33316 Store# 10035 I do not know how they stay open on more than one occasion I will go there between 11:15pm - 11:20pm and they will say they are out of chicken, how can u be out of chicken and u close at midnight Im not understanding that. On many occasions I would have to tell them that I will call corporate office to find out what is going on and thats when they will tell me to come back and they will have some ready. Someone really need to visit this store without them knowing and see what they are doing, you are loosing alot of money over this.

I ate lunch at Pollo Tropical on Sheridan and 56th ave in Hollywood Florida on Monday 19,2011 and as i opened my plate and took a bit into my choppy chop a roach came running from under the chop chicken breast and on the table.I was traumatized I still can not see chicken with out vomiting. The worst part of it all I reported it to the manager and she said she will fax it to the corporate office and no one from the coporate office has contacted me and it is going on the third day.

I give this franchise 1 STAR not due to their food taste or quality persay, but for their HORRIBLE, despicable management! I TRULY wish I could find out how their management is run and how they carry out their HIRING & TRAINING protocals. Although the food does taste good, there are so many other aweful aspects of the franchise that steal away from the experience. I CANNOT count how many times my order has been SCREWED up in the years I've been eating there. And once notifying the non-English speaking employee of the mistake, I have NEVER ONCE heard an apology. What kind of customer service is that!?? I've NEVER eaten ANYWHERE that handles situations like P. Tropical. Instead of an apology, I actually get either an "I don't care" face or an attitude. Another thing that has SHOCKED me regarding their customer service/satisfaction, is how you cannot think of requesting an extra little add-on to your meal. Of the many times I've ordered their chicken-cesar salad, I've requested they add the TINY minced tomatoes they use for their fajitas. Many 1 or 2 employees have just thrown them on for me, but all the others have snapped at me and said, "No, sorry, that's not allowed." In shock that they actualy telling a customer "NO" rather than saying there might be an up-charge, I asked for the Manager. The Manager then looks at me with an attitude and says, "Yes, that's true! We cannot add tomatoes!" Non-sense. The employees almost NEVER speak even enough Emglish to properly communicate, and they are almost always VERY SLOW woorkers. Getting a meal at Pollo usually means you have to WAIT. And the waiting is frustrating when you look behind the counter and ALL THE FOOD IS PRE-COOKED and the clueless employees are all pussy-footin' around looking confused. EVERYONE I know has been complaining about your item that WAS on the menu: cheesy yuca bites. It is beyond me how this company would discontinue this. Are you planning on brining this item back??? so many people choose to go to pollo tropical because it's such a good healthy option. And adding a little sin in there (cheesy yuca bites) was such a treat. I am so disappointed! I hope your company is smart enough to bring this back.

I VISITED THE LOCATION ON WEST COLONIAL DRIVE ACROSS FROM THE SAM'S STORE. MY SERVICE WAS UNPLEASANT AND I WONT GO BACK. THE WORKERS ALONG WITH THE MANAGER HAS VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS. MY ORDER WAS NOT CORRECT, AND I TOLD THE YOUNG LADY WAITING ON ME THIS IS NOT WHAT I ORDERD. SHE IMMEDIATELY GOT AN ATTITUDE WITH ME, ALSO STATED THAT SHE WAS TIRED. THE MANAGER CAME OUT TO TALK TO ME, AND HE WANTED ME TO PAY AGAIN FOR THE CORRECT MEAL THAT THEY MESSED UP, NOT EXCHANGE THE MEAL BUT PAY AGAIN. I TOLD HIM I WOULD NOT DO THAT. HE ALSO GOT AN ATTITUDE BUT HE DID GIVE ME THE CORRECT MEAL. IF THIS CONTINUE IN THE YEARS THEY WILL ALL BE LOOKING FOR EMPLOYMENT. THEY NEED TO REALIZE IT IS A CHOICE TO GO THIS RESTAURANT.
