Friendly staff

I just visited the new Panera Bread in Barre, Vt. I was very impressed with the drive thru service I received. They were all very Friendly and excited to be there. The only complaint I have is they forgot a bag of chips in my order.

panera is the worst

everything is awful. food quality, prices, employees and they are always out of ingredients.

Sophia at the Poplar Ave location in Memphis, TN is rude

Today I visited the Panera in memphis, tn 5865 Poplar ave. I frequent this location 4 times a week. Today there was an issue with my order and I returned to the location to get it resolved. The manager Allen was very helpful and resolved the issue with the order. The cashier on the other hand who I gave the order to gave me attitude as usual! Sophia is the most obnoxious and rude employee in the whole store. Tim the manager I spoke to did nothing but said he would talk to her! I am extremely disappointed and I will never visit this location ever. I am writing a letter to the president of the company I want her terminated immediately!

I wish I could give Zero as a rating for the Panera bread in Bowie, MD on MLK hwy. A manager named Simon made my experience Horrible!!. I've been coming here for years. But, after today...NEVER AGAIN! I called in to ask a question about Panera Bread..He kept me on hold for over 15 minutes, I continued to stay on hold as I walked into the store and he was basically walking back and forth twirling his thumbs. Every once in a while he would fold up some boxes just to "look busy". Customer service sucks here,

Dining at Panera Bread Augusta GA

We were going to go eat at the Panera Bread on Daniel Jr Parkway in Augusta, GA and the place was the filthiest place we've seen in a long time. It was so dirty under the tables and on the ground that we decided to leave the restaurant and go eat somewhere else. I don't know how happy the health department would be if they checked out this place.

panera stinks

On a take out order they threw fresh bread in the bottom of a paper bag unwrapped. When I called their Monroeville PA store they would not give me any manager's information nor would they let me talk to a manager........and they said this is how they always do it. How sanitary is this? If that paper bag is sanitary then why didn't they dump my salad right into the bag why did they put it in a container? This company has problems and fails to realize it.......I am filing a formal complaint with the appropriate governmental Pennsylvania agencies. I hope this opens an investigation.

Bad Soup

Went to a Panera Bread in Secaucus NJ and had a cup of their onion soup. Half way through the soup I found an insects body in the soup. This happened once before and I had mentioned it to the supervisor and he said that it would never happen again. Some Bald skinny guy their. This time I didn't mention it just threw away the rest of my soup and walked away. Never again will I return to Panera Bread. Anyways I don't recommend anyone going to the Panera Bread in Secaucus NJ or any other Panera Bread for that matter.

Sweeping around people food

The panera bread in silverspring md was very rude to me and a friend ,well it was the guy who was sweeping the floors my friend kindly asked him can he wait until we finish eating. He said he have to keep the place clean he continued to sweep dust in our food. My friend went to manager the manager said the same thing. Its against health regulations we told them they botg ignored us

The Panera in Oak Creek, WI is one of the best around. You don't wait to be served and your order is always right. I will always go to Panera for my bagels and hot chocolate, soda, or green tea. It is the best.

Customer

I am unsatisfied by my local Panera restaurant. They were actually out of Macaroni and cheese. A restaurant was out of a food item? I just think that is very unacceptable. I am truly dissapointed. I do not think I am going to consider Panera the next time I want delious food on the go, since they do not provide that.

Get it together

Ok...so I stopped going to Panera's for about 6 months because everytime I placed an order over the phone for pick up ...they got it wrong at thier Exton PA location. Today my co-workers and I decided to give them another chance. Guess what...they messed it up again even though the receipt clearly states what I wanted on the sandwich. This is not the first, second or third time this has happened. Yeah I know you will send me a voucher...been there done that. All I ask is that you GET IT RIGHT! How hard is it to make a sandwich with the ingredients printed right there in front of your face? Is that really asking too much? I will never step foot in another Panara's again..I'm done!

Ken Johnson

Ken Johnson on Baymeadows Rd, Jacksonville Fl is an asset to Paneras good name and reputation. He is very knid, helpful, liked well by all customers and always appropriate in his manner. From what we see each morning during the week is an overworked, under recognized employee. He appears to have way too many differing responsibilities that it would take at least 2-3 ordinary people to do. It would seem more than appropriate for Paneras to recognize Ken Johnson in some way. Thank you, Trudy Harris

cleanliness and upkeep

What I appreciate about Panera is that I can count on the quality and of the food at many locations as I travel the NJ, VT, PA, NH areas for Business. What is discouraging is the lack of attention to the cleanliness and upkeep of the building, Trash In the parking lots, carpet and entry ways dirty, tables in bad condition often not kept clean and the floors. It makes me wonder about the cleanliness of the Kitchen. What are your standards for this and who monitors the upkeep? Thanks Terri

crappy food

I purchased a bagel to take home. Requested it to be toasted. I got home and I couldn't believe your staff would serve a bagels so burnt. I'm totally disappointed.

your employee benefits

I read an article today in the Huffington Post about the salaries and benefits you pay your bakers. We have been customers since the beginning from one end of the US to the another, currently a regular CA customer. It distresses me to hear that your health insurance is so costly, and your pay scale so low that you force your "artisan" bakers to go without health insurance. What is even more upsetting is the suggestion that you are harassing - in any way - any employees that may consider unionizing in order to better their wages and benefits. Stop using people in your PR facades if you aren't willing to respect their craft and labor enough to pay them a living wage and provide them with decent benefits.

Route 1 North Brunswick

Have been to the North Brunswick store 4 times on the way home from work to buy the french bread. Each time they were sold out. They keep saying that they need to place orders three days in advanced and that they do not control the deliver schedule. Not a very organized store. Not going back to this place any more.

Catering Sucks

Rt. 4 in Paramus, has the worst catering service in Northern Jersey. I have been ordering thousands of dollars worth of food for the past few years and 85% of the orders are wrong. Either they forgot something or they gave us something different. I have spoken to several managers and they all promise that it wont happen again. Well it has. Big time. Today's order was missing half of the sandwiches, have of the bread and no utensils. Today was the last straw. Panera will never get our business again. That's thousands of dollars a year that will be spent elsewhere.

Rude staff

After a long, upsetting day we stopped to get a bite to eat and I ordered a bowl of soup. My sister got her salad and soup and it was ten minutes before I had to go over to the staff chatting in the corner and tell them I never got my soup. When the waitress Rachael put my tray down I stared at the skimpy tray with a small piece of bread and she said "you're welcome". Well, I won't be visiting Panera for quite some time. Even the cashiers used to be friendlier. And I tried going into the website to "contact us" and it doesn't work. Both on my pc and iphone. They want you to "like us" and "tell your friends", but don't seem to care what kind of job they are doing.

Cold soup

Altamonte springs around 2pm ordered tomatoe soup in bowl soup was body temp not hot not cold we got to the table my daughter didn't get the too to her bowl I had no spoon we order a bowl of soup hoping to warm up our bowls but the same temp and the girl behind counter was breaking the bread no gloves and scratching her rear end gross. Never going to that place again. Employees chatting all the time about personnel things.

Why did you change up the soups recipes?!

Today was my first time eating the French Onion soup since Panera changed their soup recipes. To say it was AWFUL is putting it nicely. Before today, I raved about your French Onion soup and would come at least once a week for it. After my lunch break, I came back to the office and complained about to the soup to a co-worker. She informed me that Panera changed their soup recipes. She mentioned that her and her fiancé went there on Saturday and they ordered the Broccoli Cheddar and said it was disgusting, runny and tasted like powdered cheese. Before I had known about the change, I ate about 4 bites of my soup and stopped because I actually thought something was terribly wrong with the soup and what was ever in there making it taste bad could potentially make me sick. Panera has lost my business until the old recipes are back.
