Panera is Corrupt
I am thoroughly convinced that 3 of my managers including the gm is stealing from the company as they didn't give me my first paycheck as something was "going on with the system." One manager named Sarah who manages the scheduling put me on the schedule when I wasnt supposed to be so she claimed I was no call no show when I know for a fact that I wasn't scheduled. This is rediculous and I will most definitely be going above them. *calling corporate*
slow drive thru
Boy was I in for a shock, there were 3 cars in the drive thru and I had 15 minutes so I thought I would get thru the drive thru in a flash. Well I was wrong, It too 30 minutes. They were so unorganized, I know it is only the 2nd day they were open in Greeley, Co. but I sure thought they would have their a game on. I think they need more organization.
The new displays look REALLY BAD!
I go to my local Panera almost every day. I noticed the new pastry displays which really amount to nothing more than wax paper on baking sheets with pastries on top. Gone is the lovely and inviting display of yummy pastries. I feel like I am in the bakery at the grocery store. Guess where I'll go from no on? That's right. The grocery store. Gone from Panera is the ambiance of the bakery so why pay more? Really? Whose brilliant idea was this? Your brand is taking a hit with this dumb idea!
Sick
I love Panera Bread, but I have to admit that I don't think they are following health regulations considering I have gotten sick from two different locations. I have worked at several different restaurants throughout my life and have never gotten sick before. I think it may have to do with the fact that most employees look like they are straight out of/or in High School (atleast where I live) and do not really grasp the importance of food temperature's and preventing food contamination.
Will never go to the panera's in Orland again
Went there on a Sunday with my 2 granddaughters..I don't walk very well so they went to get the food.. I gave them $40.. The lady at the front yelled at them because the bill was $20. And change.. They came back to the dirty table to get a dollar.. We sat there and it seemed like a long time to get the food.. The pager never went off.. I sent them up there to check.. They were yelled at because they didn't pick up the food.. We're told it was sitting there for 5 mins... They actually gave them the cold food.. I wrote a survey.. The manager called he 2 weeks ago and said he was sending me a gift card.. He was as bad as the store .. Never received anything.. Second time I was told that.. I've told everybody.. Bad panera's
Panera don't like Veterans
Panera will no longer honor veterans this year, this is what was told to me and my husband when we seen on line that Panera will give Veterans a sandwich and soup. the girl behind the counter ask for out ID which we showed her and the manager come from the back and said No we only will give Veterans a free cup of small coffee. Shocked at his attitude towards us my husband is a 100% disabled Marine Corp. Vietnam Veteran. We are so tired of business having privileges to make money off the freedoms that veterans provide and the sacrifices they all make. .
Can't get the order right
Omg, I like eating there but my order is never right. I always order a salad - steak with no cheese extra dressing. Not hard but it is for the bread co. I call they don't care. I go there because I like the food but its never right. Tonight I sat in a long line waiting to place n get my order. I get home no Dressing. I called Lauren is like sorry.
Past employee
The store in Denver, Colorado at Colorado Blvd and Cherry Creek is managed by three incompetent individuals.. Leaves unsatisfied workers in a unhealthy environment.. These workers are forced to work long hours which were not assigned and with the immediate supervisor not taking into mind the concerns of their workers and agreements when hired.. This poorly manage store needs to be reviewed on their management skills which appear to be less than professional.. I would not recommend working at this location due to the management attitude towards their workers ...
Ex-employee
The management at the Colorado Blvd and Cherry Cherry Creek store in Denver, Colorado is a poor excuse for management starting with the shift supervisor to the GM.. They have no regards to scheduling their employees with hours agreed to when hired. The company has several students who can work certain hours and the management disregards when this students must leave.. On several occasions management purposely keeps the employees working and without breaks from leaving at the scheduled time of the ended shift thus, the employees miss school. This is considered unprofessional and rude by the management.. The management team needs to get their act together they have an unsettling work environment, so sad to see a company ran by incompetent managers including the GM.
Was in the store last week after calling in a sandwich order the night before. Order was not ready, they forgot literally half of my order, made me late to work and on top of that you all were going to charge me $25.00 to file a complaint. Very disappointed in your customer service and will not return unless I get a satisfactory response. Thank you.
very rude
They all suck they have the rudest employees. Dearborn michigan
Excellent Service
I moved to Kokomo Indiana from Dublin Ohio and that Panera Bread was my favorite place to eat. I was not impressed with the Kokomo branch. On saturday 8/10 I visited your Lafayette branch at Tippecanoe Mall and I was so impressed with your Manager Jed. He was not only nice to the customers but was cleaning the tables and sweeping the floor. The store is clean and the food excellent. Not many people write something nice about somebody but this young man deserves it. Manager's don't go around cleaning tables and sweeping floors but this Manager did and I thought you should know.
Worst
After I drink the unsweetened ice tea and wants to refill, the attendant immediately cup the ice tea maker.I asked the attendant why when I just filled mine. I was told that it was bad ice tea. I was shocked what she said. She was told to make another one bec. it is bad? I went to the manager about it and I did not appreciate the manager bec.he did not apologized and yet making excuses. I feel wants to throw out and poisoned. It is not fair to the consumer that you paid and sweated the money and worked hard for it and was given a bad tea.
Rewards are Terrible
I live in Tucson AZ and cannot use their Rewards program here because they cant get their act together. They bought Paradise Cafes here, switched their computer systems and aren't able to accept my earned Rewards....what a JOKE!
Treating your employees
I am very disappointed when I see that your management staff has so little regards of your employees here in Florida. Since when is ok to have parents bring in their kids just to have managers send them home after an hour or two stating that we just don't have the business and that is it or have them show up just to be told just wait out in the front until we tell you it is ok to punch in. This is a poor way to run your business. I think it is also illegal as well.
poor service
PARDISE BAKERY AND CAFE on Ray Rd. Chandler Az. the turn over in staff is unbelievable, which in turn means poor service. I feel like after several years of eating there ever Sat. & Sun.That they are trying to run off steady customers.. I have to wipe off my table always, the door handle coming into the cafe was silver at one time. is now black with dirt. the food was much better a couple of years ago. if the cafe was not centrally located for the 6 of us I would not be coming there any more.
i had to put at least one star, i am a former employee in the Indianapolis market. I would never let anyone else make my food. i have personally seen staff members take out trash and never change their gloves and start making food, or mop the floor instead of making a guest order when it appears on the screen and yet again, never change is gloves. i have been directed by managment to change stickers on products so we can use it for another day. i worked with the bakers at night...well, u dont want to know about that, trust me. panera has a great concept but corporate guidliness and what the managers and staff do are completely different. i am serve safe certified and have no doubt in my mind they will make someone seriously ill.
very rude young lady worker
Very rude young teenager. I did not get the correct order and she insisted I did and told me three people heard me. I was ordering a sandwich for my mother and changed my mind and ordered a kids sandwich instead of the adult one/ I had a question about chips and she said loudly "you got chips in the most rude manner. I was confused with the price and the incorrect order. I told the manager about it and he said he would talk the girl. I will try again but if this behavior happens again I will not bring my family here.
Sokolof
I went to Panera for the first time in Kendall and 137 miami FL and I was very happy :) how the cashier was so nice explaining everything to me with details and big smile, I think was Isabel and I am coming back just because of her courtesy towards me and my family. Food was good and one lady pick up our plates afterwards, very nice!
Went to Panera Bread for lunch, ordered tomato soup. It was cold. went back and waited in line for 3 minutes and then waited another 5 minutes to get more cold soup. Then I heard the cashier say they are out of tomato soup. I went up to the cashier and asked what is wrong with the soup, and told them I had two consecutive bowls that were cold. They curtly said that they would give me a refund on the soup only, after i told them my entire meal was cold due to all of the waiting. Now that the credit card statement came back, the partial refund was not there. Really!!!!!!! They voided my refund! Unbelievable!
