Dealership
Purchase a Rouge pre own. After Three months returned it to by a juke . The Rouge has an extended warrenty at cost of $1800 + . I was told I would recieve a portion of the cost back ($800) . I never got it Dealership never follow up on my calls and gives me a run a round. I am reporting this to the consumer affairs . Dealership White Plains Nissan . I also will follow up with local and national media. Shame I love the car .. But am soured on Nissan because of this dealership ...
On 2/15/13. I took my nissan versa to nisan Hampton VA. for an oil change and car wash. It was a nice day so I sat out front on the steps. All of a sudden the Hampton police were in my face talking about they were called .I told the officer I had no idea what he was talking about. The dealership didn.t say not this person. They apologized and paid for my service, but what I couldn.t understand how the lady whom they claimed did something went right backin the building after talking to the police like nothing happened, which was quite odd. Hampton Nissan does not have good customer service once they get your business they could care less about you. The issue that I,m having with my car is unbelievable,so I will never deal with Nissan again as far as purhasing an automobile neither would I recommend them to anyone. GM
ripoff
Went to buy a used car at nissan on hylan blvd. in Staten Island New York. Was lied about the transportation fee which was 860 dollars.Came home and checked this out on the internet and found out that this was a scam. The car was bought and sold back to them there.Unethical and trying to steal customers money. When I canceled the manager told me to leave the property. Be careful of this place
Transmission problems
My nissan titan had a crack in the radiator and it messed up the transmission too. They want me to spend 4000.00 on fixing the transmission. They do not stand behind their products. Stay away from buying a nissan. Chris Bayer
Defective Steering Lock on 2009 Altima
I am truly diappointed with Nissan for not recalling the Steering Lock system in the 2009 Altima. The part is extremely expensive, has not been revised and is apparently a major issue. The car completely locks up. The replacement part which is currenly on back order is only warrented for 12 months so the same problem is likely to happen again. Nissan needs to step up and correct this defect. If customers like myself are going to spend $800 to $1000 in repair and towing nissan could at the minimum make a replacement part that would have an improved lifespan. Nissan has lost my business forever. If you have experienced problems with your steering lock system please report the defect to www.nhtsa.gov/.
Gas Tank Vent Tube
I have a 2008 Nissan Frontier , and have had problems with the gas tank vent tube. The design flaw with the vent tube is it is located at the rear of the pickup and if you drive down dusty roads it plugs up. This design flaw causes the vent tube---sensor and charcoal cannister to plug and fail. I had to have these items repaired at the cost of several hundred dollars ! The repair also included moving the vent tube to the engine compartment to fix the problem---imagine that ! I'm a disabled army veteran and can not afford these repairs and feel Nissan should fix their problem not the customer !
nissan quest 2013
i bought the nissan quest 2013 LE and i discovered the cd and dvd place are in the same place. We had the 2008 nissan quest and it had the DVD and the CD and it had it seprate. After we drived the car I saw this problem. The reason I bought the 2013 nissan quest is that I thought that they where seprate so my kids can watch the DVD and that we could listen to some music on the CD all at once.
Bad customer service
I bought a 2013 Altima on 12/26/12 from Faulkner Nissan in Jenkintown, PA. Faulkner did not process tags or registration I paid for at time of sale. My tags expired on 1/26/13. Faulkner has not reached out to me to extend tags or give me a loaner car until I get my tags. I've called everyday since 1/23/13. There has not been a satisfactory resolution as of this review.
Switch and Bait
I viewed and ad for a 2009 Altima at Melbourne, Fl Nissan which listed the price as $13,800. I called and talked to a sales person and was told to come in and view the car. When I got to the dealership I was told a $6,000 mistake was made. I showed them the ad which they would not honor. I would like to know how many other people have been subjected to the old bait and switch tactics of Melbourne Nissan.
Buyers beware!
I purchased a 2013 Altima as of 12/31/12 and had it for 1 week. The first thing that went wrong was the dealer gave me the car without an inspection sticker. Now there is a malfunction with the air bag, and with one of my head lights. I have to tap on my headlights them to work...I took the car back to the dealer who has had it for 3 weeks. I am very disappointed with Nissan and will not recommend this car to anyone!
2006 Nissan Xterra
My husband bought a 2006 Nissan Xterra brand new. The warranty is already up. His belt has been squealing, so he had his belts changed. Still the squealing continues. He took it to the dealership and it has now changed to Suburu, but they still worked on his Nissan because the dealership used to be Nissan/Suburu Gresham, OR. The mechanic told my husband it was the timing belt and Nissan knows of this reoccuring problem but will not recall the issue. Please help! I will also write a letter to corporate! Timing belts do not go until 10 years or over 100,000 miles. Neither are the case for my husband's 2006 Nissan Xterra.
Transmission / radiator
The 2006 Nissan Patherfinder is a lemon. Classic Nissan out Lumberton, NJ said it cost 7000 to replace a transmission and radiator. They said they would help the customer by paying 4000 out of the 7000. A local transmission place said that job cost 3600 dollars. The bad thing is I like my car. Come Classic Nissan of Lumberton, NJ do the right thing and cover this job.
Worst customer service and need recall on 09 altima
I just recently had Nissan Service on my 09 Nissan Altima and they told me I need a new steering lock, I really believe there is something going wrong with the 09 altima steering lock that need to be recall. I experience the worst customer service at the Nissan dealership service center. They gave me my car back with all the wires hanging out under the wheel with nothing put back together and then wouldn't put it back together. I will like to speak to corporate about this matter!!
My passenger and driver front windiows will not go down or come up.I have not used the windows since June 2012. It is very strange that both stopped the same month, What can you do or suggest to have them repaired.
car crash
I was recently in a vehicle accident in which a drunk driver hit me from behind traveling 90 mph on a highway. I was fortunate enough to have been driving a 2008 Nissan Quest Van and I believe it saved my life. The van was found to be 100% totaled but kept me safe. When the vehicle hit me I was able to keep the Nissan Quest on the road. The Quest is a well built van that help up to a very intense impact. I give the vehicle 2 thumbs up.

altima problems
I purchased a 09 Nissan Altima used about 4 months ago from St. Charles Nissan in St. Peters Mo. We also bought a 2010 Hyundia Elantra at the same time spending almost $30,000. The Nissan has dormanthe since Christmas because it wont start. The key fob wont dtart the car or even turn the. radio on with the so called intelligent key fob. Its been over a week and it hasn't started since The Nissan dealer told me I would have to tow it at my expense to the dealer to get the problem fixed also at my expense. Needless to say, I will never recommend a Nissan to anyone. I work in a parts store as a manager and I have say, this is very poor service.
false advertising
Brought a new 2012 Frontier at Nissan of Queens. To start newspapers, television and radio broadcasst VPP discount for all total lost vehicles due to Hurricane Sandy. Dealer does not want to honor discount as they will not be re-imbursed by Nissan? Three weeks later was advised I purchased a total loss policy I made clear I did want. Investigating how my signature is on policy I do not have copy of? Charged me tax on a rebate I never received? Would never recommend a Nissan product to anyone. disgusted how Nissan took advantage of Hurricane Sandy victims
Nissan Versa
i bought a Nissan versa 2012 dont get me wrong GREAT CAR ON GAS.... but the service i recieved was "butter me up" but once something real happened to the vechile, i got the run around. no one would help me. people said "o, we will call you back" but no one did. is this how Nissan treat their customers???? i bought the car from Grubbs Nissan in Bedford TX never will i get another one there EVER!!!! or refer a friend
We bought not one, but two Nissan Versa's in the same day. A 2011 automatic for our teenage son and a 2012 six speed manual transmission for me. After a few weeks we noticed that the 2012 manual speed was not performing as it should, the RPM's were through the roof if we went over 50 mph. This caused the fuel mileage to tank. The salesman who sold the cars told us they won't do anything, that we should just keep it for a few years and then trade it off!!!
