NISSAN HAS LOST ITS VISION
I was a loyal customer until 2011 bought a Sentra it caught fire Nissan played ganes, I had car in my possession 29 days it was in their possession 39 days then they wanted me to pay 4000+ for them to buy the thing back. Bought a 2001 Pathfinder, take it to be oiled, tune-up etc. told by mechanic there is a recall - no recall notices sent out so 1996-2002 Nissan Pathfinder/ Infiniti Q4 take back suspension problems their buying back. Sentra 2009-2012 Recalls (many) take them back. NIssan use to be the cars and company with integrity, they just aren;t at all!
Pathfinder Transmission
Obviously it doesn't matter to Nissan all the problems people are having with the transmissions on these vehicles! I do not believe that cross contamination is the only defects of the transmission. Mine totally burnt up at 82,000 miles, and they told me it wasn't cross contamination!! There needs to be a lawsuit on the defective parts too not just cross contamination. I will never buy another Nissan again. It's not the only problem, peeling paint is another issue. In the future, I will let you keep your vehicle Nissan! I will never give you my hard earned money again.
Armada Transmission
My transmission went out because of a line failure, at 76K miles. The repair bill was $6,300 I find this a bit pricey considering what I paid for the Armada. I would like to congratulate the San Marcos, Tx dealer for the prompt attention they gave my automobile. I was a Winter Texan traveling home. I read on line about this being a problem with the Armada and Pathfinder.
Dangerous Rear Axle
The rear axle broke on my 2004 Nissan Titan with only 61,000. Apparently, this is a common occurence with 2004-2005 Nissan Titans once they reach 60,000. This should have never happened, as I have never used the truck for towing nor do I use it to 4-wheel drive. These vehicles should be recalled for this defect as this could cause serious accidents if breaking during highway speed. Nissan knows about this problem but have ignored it even though the company has received hundreds of complaints. It cost me $2,000 to replace the broken rear axle and because I did not take the truck to a Nissan dealer (which by the way I contacted prior to having the car fixed and they informed me that the cost would be $3,000 to $3,800 and Nissan would not cover) Nissan will not reimburse me. The truck was repaired at a Licensed certified auto repair station and I feel that Nissan should reimburse me for my cost of something that should never have incurred in the first place.
ANGRY/DISSATISFIED CUSTOMER
My lease was due to terminate July 2013. i received many, many calls for an early termination from the New Paramus Dealer. I have been a great Nissan customer for many years and if I cannot get help from somebody as to what they did to me i will never purchase or lease from Nissan ever again. I turned my car in for a "supposely new 2013 vehicle and they gave me a used (with 110 Miles ), dirty, cratched, tools in the truck and they lied to me. They even screwed up in the Odometer reading (FRAUD) stating that the vehicle only had 12 miles. I am so dissapointed in Nissan and the indivuduals they are hiring. No one will give me the time of day to reach a resolution. They only way they want to make up to me is by a detail job. I truly hope someone reaches out to me and helps me with this case or i will have no recourse to to seek legal advise. Please i am a single mom and they took advantange of me and treated me so poorly Kindest Regards,
Puchased my Nissan Murano from rothrock motors..And was sold the car without the window sticker. Was told before we made the purchase. I would get the window sticker..still at 4/14/2013 And many months waiting .No window sales sticker..lets get this resolved as soon as possible. Me and my wife have made many calls pertaining to this issue..And still no results..
Almost scammed!
I brought my Nissan Maxima in for service and had it looked at because I was approaching 100,000 miles. The service person told me three things I needed for my car, which I agreed. He later came back saying oil was leaking from my car and it cause my engine to lock up, so I agreed to have the O-ring replaced for $125. When I asked him about my warranty, he saw that I was covered to 100,000 miles, and he picked up a pen and crossed off the O-ring. I asked him why he crossed it off, and he stated that he was mistaken, it was another car he was thinking about. I have written a letter to Courtesy Nissan of Tampa and the corporate office. I will not do business with a company that will try to cheat me so blatantly.
Ripped off - Scam
I went to Mission Hills Nissan because my battery had died. I received a jump to get to the dealership. After looking at the battery, the service advisor said I needed a new one & it would cost me $140. I asked him shouldn't it be under warranty, after all I had only had the car for a little over a year. He said that batteries don't come with warranty & they just go bad. Then he proceeds to sell me a battery with a 7 year warranty. Huh? I didn't have time to argue as I needed to get to work. Later on I look in the warranty book & right there it says there is a 24 month warranty on the battery. Now to fight to get my money back.
Poor Corporate Decisions on the Murano
I have owned 3 Nissan Murano's and was looking to purchase a 4th. I could not believe the poor decisions made by the corporate design teams for the 2013 Murano. They have eliminated the option to have the brighter and safer xenon lights on the SL model. This is considered a high end auto and not to have this as an option is ridiculous. They have also taken out the separated bag holder in the cargo area. A better design option would have been to make the spare tire holder floor cover into sections so that a previous bag holder could have been easily swapped out or ordered as an option. Nissan had a perfect opportunity to make their loyal customers feel they were being taken of with providing the previous available options that are now no longer available. What a disappointment!!!
2011 Altima 2.5S
Driver side keyless door locks stopped working when the battery started to die in the remote. I replaced the batter but only that door still will not work. All three others work fine. I see this as a recurring problem on the Nissan Club Blog for 2008 forward. Is there an active recall on this? What a pain. I also have a 2002 Altima 2.5SL and never had any problem. HELP!
Gardena Nissan
I am very disappointed with Gardena Nissan. I took my car in for warranty repairs and they kept my car for a week and still were not done with repairs. Not only that, they returned my car with my tint damaged and my door handles hanging off. If I had not seen the damages myself, they weren't even going to tell me. Also I informed them of my tire pressure light being on when I dropped my car off. Instead f them handling these issues/concerns they told me to come back when my part that's on back order arrives. Very disappointing and unacceptable.

I let my guard down My car gets stolen My driveway " But found a week later, Call for towing service And deliver to Nissan of Bakersfield" Minor bodywork , The computer/ brain To the car had to be replaced and reprogrammed" I have a high deductible 1000, Farmers Insurance, But then 27 days later Without a car,I received a call from Nissan to picked up my car" I realized and was told My keys remote to my car Will not be covered" because they're so called technicians don't leave my remote was working and because My car was a 2006 old mybe going bad. This is bogus.
Very bad service
I have been with a 2011 altima for about 9 and has been at the shop several times even the first week i purchased it. Ive spoken to several managers and none of them can give me an answer or help me out. Driving out to to san antonio tx several times a month is a waste of time if they cant fix the problem. Never again will i go back to ancira nissan or buy a nissan car. Worst experience ever for my first time buying a car!!!!
Bought a 2012 Nissan Rogue. Sticker price was $18,000. I paid $29,000. The salesman looked me right in the eye and lied. Then the finance guy covered up what I paid for the car. He told me this page just says how much interest you are paying. The page was folded. He unfolded it, said, "sign here" and grabbed it so fast my head was spinning. I wanted a $20,000 car with a $300 payment, I got a $30,000 car with a $400 payment. I bought it at Dessert Nissan in Las Vegas Nevada. Will never buy another Nissan again. And isn't it illegal to put an $18,000 price sticker on a $30,000 car that you have no intention of selling for $18,000???
