I purchased some Jackets online and then I send them back and it has been 3 months and still I am paying interest on that payment even do jackets have been returned and but my account it not being credited. I called them 10 times but every time they tell me it would be node in next 10-15 days but it is 3 months now and I am so frustrated that I don't want to shop at Macy's and I am going to do everything in my power to pervert this for other customers. Macy's Customer service is a joke they don't know anything about what is going on in there next department. Macy's lost my trust, and trust of my friends and family.

I'm puzzled ! Why? Because recently I went into a Macys store buy some makeup I knew they had. I had not shopped at Macys for about 3 years, but still had my Macys Credit Card - balance -0-. When they tried to charge the credit card, it did not come up in their system. So, I paid for the item in cash and the rep asked me if would like to apply for another credit card as my old one was probably discontinued because of inactivity. I said - sure, why not. Other than a Macy's card, all I have is a B of A card which I never let get over $200 and I pay the full amount that is due at the end of the month. My credit is excellent. I was surprised to get a letter from Macys denying my opening up a new account based on information they got about my credit from 'Experian'. So I got my Experian credit report, and everything on the report was positive. I don't owe anybody anything and I've NEVER had any excessive amounts owed on any account. I don't care if I ever get a Macy's card again, but what bothered me was the rejection of one. I plan to get to the bottom of this. Why would they refuse to open another account with me - because I have not been shopping there ??? Can I sue for something like this who demeans my credit when it is excellent? Thank you

I am currently on hold for a Macy's service person. I have had an issue with my Macy's account since October after paying my account at the store. Cashier's register did not work to process my payment so it was called in. Then I receive my next monthly statement and no payment was posted. They sure did post late fees though and interest. Then I have to deal with phoning Macy's and then faxing information from my bank statement which I did through the Macy's store. No help there either, the office staff were most rude. Few weeks later I'm still without help on my account and they want me to provide even more info. So now I have to wait again, and hope my account is taken care of. Customer service should be looked at. It seriously makes you think about doing your business elsewhere.

Macy's is the most hostile place I have ever worked. Certain people get away with everything and others are treated like crap and the management doesn't care all they care about is sucking people into there credit program for 25%apr

I am so angry at Macy's right now that I'm thankful the offices are closed on weekends. If I talked to someone in their corporate office, I'm sure I'd snap! I've had my Macy's account for over 30 years and have excellent credit! I've been trying to pay cash, or use my bank ATM card, for most of my purchases lately and haven't used my charge cards. Shoot me!! But recently, I tried to charge something at Macy's (only $45) and I wasn't able to. I called the customer service number and was told that because of no activity, the account is closed. I wasn't even able to show my I.D. and use it. I'm so angry at this. It not only upset me because I couldn't charge something, but I was told to just open a new account. Well no shit, Sherlock!! I hated the thought of having to open an account now with all the ways people are able to "hack" into your personal information. Right now, I don't care if Macy's is giving something away...I'm not buying from them again! And I WILL call them tomorrow and let them know how angry I am and why! I'll go to Target or WalMart if I need something.

I ordered a dress by phone a week ago at the Macy's at Tyson Corner Center in Mclean, VA. I called several times Elizabeth (Sales Manager for Dress/Suits department) and they don't where it went. I talked to the Executive in Charge (EIC), her name is Barbara and she was really short with me with an attitude. She tries to help me then calls me back saying that I didn't make a purchase and there is no transaction or address that is in the system. When I looked at my bank account, the transaction is already taken out. On my bank account it states "$182.73 from 8000 Tyson Corner Center Mclean, VA 22102." Who can I report this too? I've been a customer at Macy's with a great credit line. I didn't know that Macy's is falling off and it seems no one can help me. This is ridiculous.

I am very upset with Macy's. I placed an order online and two days later another mysterious order was placed by a Macy's rep. I will never order online from Macy's again. I have to cancel my card because I feel that they are using it for their own shopping needs. I'm so disgusted that a store like Macy's is having these issues online.

Im calling the office for myself, only because i had an interview then after my interview she said she would hire me THEN decided to look at my application THEN tell me she cant hire me because i work at tjmaxx. Conflict of interest. well guess what, that is bullshit and she should of told me BEFORE i went for an interview, i am NOT happy what so ever. That's the worst crap i have ever herd in my life. We have people that work at tjmaxx and WORK at macys&other retail stores. Really furious with this place!

You sent me some appointment books that I did not order. I did not pay my bill when it came in because Ihad a -0- balance before the books were added. I had a call from someone because my account was a few days late. I explained that I did not order the books and I do not intend to pay for them. I returned them. Everytime I call someone about the bill I get someone in India. I can barely understand them. When I ask to speak to someone in the U.S. I was disconnected. SHAME ON YOU FOR HIRING PEOPLE FROM INDIA TO HANDLE YOUR CREDIT CUSTOMER SERVICE. I have cancelled my credit card for that very reason!!! People in American need jobs and you are farming them out to other countries. There is no wonder as to why no one answers you corporate phone listed above. You probably have so many complaints no one wants to talk to us. I WILL DEFINITELY PASS THIS ON TO EVERYONE IN ALL THE VARIOUS CLUBS I BELONG TO.

Macys sucks ass they tread employees like shit all managers and HR excecutives look out for each other. I've had the same problem with my manager for ever and nobody does nothing to at least suspend him or give him a ride up and i have talked with HR, his manager and other managers. he is unproffesional lazy as hell does the dumbest things wates hour of work makes overtime by cutting our hrs he is uncordinated extremely unhelpfull waste companys money has a really bad actitude exept when managers are around. I have never been so disappointed and lead in the wrong direction so many times with one company. On Sunday October 16, I called Macy's at South Coast Plaza to put an item on hold for me. When I drove over there, it wasn't the right item and they were out of stock. After waiting with the employee for about 45 minutes, she ordered over the phone the item and said it was do be shipped by Friday October 21 5pm, which was very important because I was flying out of town that evening. After tracking the item online, I noticed AGAIN it was the wrong item. After calling Macy's on Wednesday October 19, a lady name Parsis (not sure about spelling) at phone number 1(800)289-6229 extension 24464 re-routed that item and we placed a new order for a new item. Now I had paid for 2 of the same item, waiting for the first item to be sent back and re-credited. She reassured me it would be sent out that day, arriving the LATEST by 5pm on friday October 21. She told me should wouldn't charge me for the rush delivery. I checked all yesterday to track and no info was provided. Then today October 21, I tracked my item online and it is in South Carolina and NOT California where it needs to be by 5pm. I called for Parsis at the number and extension she gave me and I was told I can not reach her. In addition I was told that the item was never going to arrive Friday October 21, but that it was to be here by Monday October 24. In ADDITION, I was told that Parsis charged me an additional $20.00 for the rush delivery. All in all, I now do not have the item I was promised to have before flying out of town and now have 2 of the same items purchased on my card. If I had known this would be such a horrible pain to order through Macy's and such horrible care and lies, I would have gone somewhere else and purchased this item. The only accommodations made for this HUGE mess was that the $20.00 I was charged by mistake would be taken off. And still I do not have my item. To clear all this up I was speaking with someone on the phone/on hold for one hour and 35 minutes. Prior to this call, I had spoken to Parsis for 45 min, and prior to her, I had driven to a store that didn't even have the item and waited another 45 for her to order it. It is just ridiculous for Macy's to have this service. I expect differently from your customer service and care and would have GREATLY appreciated a larger accommodation (not just refunding me the $20.00 I unwillingly was charged) for this HUGE mess. Never been so disappointed in my life.

I just want to say that i am a professional women with a professional back ground in sales and sale associate. Well i applied for the seasonal sales associate for some extra cash for the holidays and i filled out the application, thinking with my background i would probably get the job, how hard is it being a sales associate at $7.90 for that matter..Well i just got a email stating that they are sorry that with my skills i could not get a position at the Macys store, boy when i read this i was furoius and laughling and saying omg really are you kiddin me, this must be a joke. I am going to write alot of letter to the corporate office regarding this, this is so stupid that i received this email. Like really what skills do you have to have to work at Macys??? Macys acts like you are applying for the president position. I am extremely dissappointed with Macys for this, i will never ever shop there again in my life, I think diffrent about Macys now. What a joke, that i have all the experience for the sales position and they did not offer me a job...

my bill pay overpaid macys 2955.15. I called macys before it was even posted. they told me to wait for it to be posted, call them and then I can get a check. well three days later, several phone calls to them, emails, faxes nothing is done so far. they keep saying the large amount! I have all confirmations from all the faxes I sent. my credit union has confirmations from all the faxes. they go to they never received any, to they received one page of one to they can't see the fax come through for 24 to 72 hours! my credit union macys talked and my credit union then called me and said they couldn't verify a fax he just sent! he is contacting macys today and they are contacting me. the run around from a company this large is disgusting!!!!!!!!!! the payment was 29.85 and they took 2985.00. I am boycotting macys and telling everyone I know to boycott them. I just want someone to say I am getting my money back!!!!!!

To: Macy’s Corporate Office 7 W. 7th St Cincinnati, Ohio 45202 Attention: Collections I am a 71 year old woman who has NEVER made a late payment in my life! I usually pay all bills in full each month. Trying to become a part of the paperless society, I set up an account online to pay my Macy’s bill. In September, I did so. However, when my October bill came, there was a charge for not having paid the September bill. I immediately …literally, the same day the bill came in the mail…sat down and mailed a check. I realized I had not completed the process for computer bill paying and thus the September bill was not paid. I accept fully my error. However, in mid September, I received a call. The woman sweetly asked if I was Sandra Havrelly. I replied, “Yes, I am.” Immediately her voice changed and she said, “Do NOT hang up!” My experience is that those telling you not to hang up are trying to sell you something or bilk you out of something. I hung up! From that moment on, we have been harassed with phone calls…early morning, mid-day, late evening! On October 5th I mailed the check for my bill…fully paid…to Macy’s. On October 10th, I decided to listen to one of these calls and see what they were selling. My plan was to turn them over to our son who is an investigative journalist for NBC. When I was told in a very mean way that I owed $137 or so, to Macy’s, I immediately recognized it as being true. I explained the situation and told them I had mailed the check on Monday. The woman was so incredibly rude that I am still shaken by it. My complaint with Macy’s is: 1. After years of holding a Macy card, an American Express Card and a Visa card…I have never made a late payment! In addition, I pay nearly 90% of my bills in full. Could you not have taken that into consideration before turning me over to a collection agency? 2. Why would you turn me over to a collection agency almost before the due date? Would you be so fast to tell them the check had arrived? 3. Why would Macy’s hire a company that would treat long time customers with good credit so rudely? In fact, why would Macy’s hire anyone that speaks that rudely to another human being? 4. Why couldn’t an employee of Macy’s call and ask if I realized I had missed a payment? I am offended! I am embarrassed! I am concerned YOU have ruined my perfect FICA score! I am returning my Macy credit card. Please remove me from your mailing list. For what it’s worth, I apologize for ‘trying to pay my bill online” and doing it incorrectly which caused you to turn me into a non bill paying member of society. However! I live in 29 Palms, Ca which is about an hour and 15 minutes away from the closest Macy's in Palm Desert. I made the drive to purchase Homecoming outfits for two of my sons...not a small sale. I was appalled to see 4 associates standing around talking but 3ft away from me and not once greeted me or asked if I needed assistance. I let that roll off my back and continued to shop for my other items. Upon checking out, I tried to pay with my Macy's card which was not approved. I couldn't understand why so the associate called the credit center which I was even more appalled to learn that there was no credit department in the store. Any issues must be dealt with very rude personnel. One in particular was Ms. Mendes who addressed herself as a supervisor. I was told that a pending charge for $529.00 that they refused to cancel even after verifying that I was in the store and the account was mine. The charges were from #129 which she also said that she didnt know what store or location that was but she wasn't going to cancel it and couldn't all she could was dispute it. When I asked why it couldn't be cancelled she said she didnt know that's the way it is. I then asked if the investigation dept was going to contact me. She said merely yes which upset me as she didnt bother to verify any information. The employees are the rudest I have encountered anywhere and the supervisors are no better. What's even worse is the outsourced staff in India that could not assist with a single thing as well.Extremely disappointed past customer - I will never shop Macy's again and I am encouraging all of my friends and family to stop as well until major changes take place.

macys provided me with a 1500.00 credit limite.I paid the monthly payments as agreed...most times a little bit over the amount agreed upon.never been late making a payment.only to have them take back $1000.00 of the credit limite they allowed me to have.so be advise...your not going to get what you think your going to get dealing with macys.

I have NEVER been able to make use of a Macy's Star Rewards coupon! It's amazing that I can honestly say NEVER! There is always some vague loophole! Bait and switch at it's finest!

Macy's is the king of advertising items that they do not have in the store. Every manager to the executive office all use the same stupid excuse as they think their customers are stupid. If you shop at Macy's you are stupid...They then try to bait and switch you to a more expensive item. They stink!!!!!!

As a former employee at Macy's I have a to say that the training and upper management skills are horrible. Macy's is a a million dollar company although they treat their employees terrible. I am still waiting to be reimbursed for office supplies that I had to purchase as well as mileage to travel to other stores. It is amazing that corporate does not address these issues. Unfortunately I am no longer a Macy's customer
