AFTER READING ALL OF THE BAD COMMENTS ABOUT MACY'S I FEEL THAT MY COMPLAINT WILL JUST BE IN VAIN, SO AFTER I MAKE MY LAST PURCHASE I WILL BE CLOSING DOWN MY ACCOUNT BECAUSE FROM THE FORMER COMPLAINTS, MACYS DOESN'T CARE ABOUT IT'S LONG TIME CUSTOMER AND I HAVE BEEN A LOYAL CUSTOMER FOR OVER 40 YEARS, I HAVE HAD IT WITH YOUR INEXPERIENCE SALE ASSOCIATE THAT ARE VERY RUDE AND HAVE NO PROFESSIONAL ADDITUDES,AND YOUR COUPONS ARE A JOKE IT'S JUST A GIMMICK TO LURE CUSTOMER INTO YOUR STORES, THE QUALITY OF YOUR STORES HAVE COMPLETELY LOST TOUCH WITH REALITY.

I was purchasing cosmetics at the lancome counter at the Spring hill Mall in Dundee IL,. I have never been treated so rudely by representative before. I still bought and Item and continued shopping. I then went to Carson's to the lancome cosmetics counter and they treated me with respect and have been willing to help. I went back to Macy's return the product I bought and again I was treated with disgust and not willing to help me out. I even said to the lady ,I am sorry and she gave me a dirty look mark off the sale from a list, she t glared at me and had a overall bad attitude. This is not the first time at Macy that this has happened to me. I have given this Corporation many chances and I am tired of the rudeness of the employees, weather it be the cosmetics counter or the general store. If you want my money you will need to revamp your employees attitudes.

I did not spend one cent at Macy this Christmas season, and I have convinced others not to spend any money at Macy also. I will not shop in Macy until Ms. Johnson is reinstated. If you fire someone who is trying to provide a safe environment for customers then I don't need to shop at Macy. Macy is out of touch with customers.

I am very disappointed in the clothing choices and quality. Every year I purchase petite cashmere sweaters. This year there are none. I was told to go online and order one that they are "the same". Attention Macy's, half of the women in the U.S. are 5' 4" AND shorter. Our arms do not hang down to our knees, etc etc. Please consider baby boomers who might not be the tallest or thinnest but who do have money to spend. And NO I will never ever wear Alfred Dunner!! I also hate the perfume in newspapers. Macy's definitely looks like we are in a big time recession by the quality of merchandise. Maybe no one else cares?

My family and I went to the Macy1s in the the North Star mall in San Antonio Tx. today,I walk with a walker and the elevater was out of order and noone offered any other solution as to how I could get to the second or third level.Second they followed us around the store like we were going to steal something,no matter were we went they were trailing us no one asked if we needed any help they just monitored us from every direction. My family and I will never shop there again and I will be filling a suit againt them. It`s 2011 and blacks still can not go into Macy`s and not be looking at as a thief or robber.

I am in the minority from the complaints above. Am on a fixed, senior citizen income and have NO money for the gorgous perfume that I love. The perfume samples that come lift my day, give me the scent that I can no longer afford. When I am through with them, they go in my dresser drawers for more scent if possible. Thank you Macy's.

I agree with the staff that was fired. No man (transgender or not) should be in the dressing room area with young girls. Period. Pandering child porn? Figure out some other way because you cannot KNOW if the "man" is just pretending. Oh, and get rid of that Beth Charlton and hire back that 27 yr old student with brains.

I love Macy's always have great prices. I've been a customer for years. I am sorry I will never shop at a Macy's again until you change your policies. A woman was fired for telling a transgender former MAN...may have been cross dresser not sure not to go in the woman's dressing room. You can cater to the VERY FEW all you like. But if I were ever in a dressing room with my precious daughter and man in a dress walked in you would have a serious problem on your hands. You need to have a man, woman and OTHER . If that's your choice, But due to the fact that I don't want to have to explain a man dresses as a woman next to my baby- I'm never shopping your store again. Not online either.

I am totally frustrated with Macy's. The store promotes business by offering coupons. These coupons have more exclusions than I've ever dreamed. They will even add exclusions to the list that aren't on the exclusion list and classify it as "licensed". Today, I took 10 different items from the home department to the cashier. I had various coupons or discounts. Not a single coupon could be used on any of the 10 items I was going to buy. Needless to say, I left all 10 items with the cahsier, and left the store. Macy's is one of the worst stores around that do this to customers. Instead of listing the exclusions on each discount coupon, they should simply state what IS covered.

I witnessed an employee get fired on the floor in front of customers and employees by a very uptight manager.... I was even more disgusted when the reason he gave for firing him was "the employee has been clocking in one half hour early". I probably would have understood the reason if the employee clocked in and did not do any work, but that was not the case... I do not want to shop somewhere that is unjust to their emnployees...

I am appalled and angry that you force me to smell your awful perfume in your Sunday newspaper ad. I am allergic to perfume and it gives me asthma, altered vision and migraines which may last for days. I am sure there are others out there like me. I am also appalled that your main web site customer service is impossible to use. I am beginning to understand the "Occupy" movement.

I just leaned that Macys fired an employee for preventing a man from going into the woman's dressing room!!! That's insane neither my wife or my three daughters are going anywhere near that store!

i will not shop in macy until ms. johnson is reinstated her job. my wife and i and our family will not shop at macy until your corporation provide safe environment for man and woman restroom and dressing facilities. transgender is either pervert man and peeping tom. what ashame this department store has lost touch with main stream family value. i will forward this message to every friends and relatives by facebook and other media outlets. let macy get this message loud and clear. cut macy credit card if macy will not reinstate ms. johnson, boycott both macy and bloomingdale. will see how much damage christmas buying fall to the bottom.

i have never been so extremely disappoint after having a macys card for 13years i close my acount and will never shop there again and i will encourage my family and friends to stop as well they don't take care of there good customer very rude ,disrespectful in customer service you guys are going to lose alot of customer 12/7/11

MACY'S DOES NOT ANSWER THEIR PHONE. TERRY LUNDGREN OWES AN APOLOGY TO THE GIRL THEY JUST FIRED AND REINSTATE HER POSITION . OR WE BOYCOTT MACY'S NOW

Without hesitation I cancelled my Macy's credit card tonight. I have been a devout Macy's customer for many, many years and have spent thousands and thousands of dollars at your store. My credit rating is excellent-well over 800. I had a $50 balance on my bill as a result of buying a gift card for a friend, also a loyal Macy's customer. Recently I became ill and was a few days late on getting you my $50 payment. I confirmed tonight that you have since received it. As a result, Macy's charged me $27. I called your customer service dept, explained the situation and asked them to look at my stellar history in hopes of having the $27 late charge waived. She explained that under no circumstances will Macy's ever waive a late fee. I am extremely disappointed in your practices and cannot believe that a $27 service fee is worth losing a long time customer. I have never asked for such a waiver and it is appaling that Macy's treats it's loyal customers with such a lack of understanding. I cancelled my card and will never again return to Macy's. I will spend my thousands of hard earned dollars elsewhere, in stores that appreciate my business and take into consideration when a payment is late by a few days ONE TIME! By the way, the friend I bought the gift card for, a loyal Macy's customer, well she is cancelling her card tomorrow. I plan on sharing my story with many family members and other friends and I can assure you that you have now lost many long time customers over a $27 late fee on a $50 balance. Macy's should be ashamed!

I am a macy card holder since 2001 and the service at the Lenox Square was the worst I received . On Decemember 4,2011 my visit to teh above store was a disater the assocate was so busy she rung up the incorrect price for the purchase . I kept calling the store and I was unable to connected with manager or a representative in the department . I spend $350.87 on two items . My friend spent more that $600.00 and rep did not even folded her item just ju . The associates in the shoes department were the worst . Service was poor . I was incovenience greatly .

Such an interesting and common thread I see throughout all these comments - management is so disrespectful to their employees. I too was employed by Macy's for over 3 years, and left recently because of a medical issue. I am a middle aged mom with a college degree in business, and began working at Macy's for the holiday season a few years ago. I was usually very happy going to work and I enjoyed working with the customers. I am a smart worker and a hard worker. I have never been at any job over the past 25 years that my employer did not love me.....until Macy's. They really do not care about their employees. Many many times I was working when my legs felt they were going to fall off, and my hair was damp with sweat. Whenever I was asked to do something, it was never in a kind, motivating or respectful manner. Orders were barked at me, along with most of my colleagues. Forget the stupid MAGIC training they offer, and get some true management skills in order. It is so hard to believe a place as big as Macy's doesn't get the fact that if you treat people well they will work harder. It must come from the top since the disrespectful treatment by the managers is consistant throughout most if not all the departments.

I have nothing against people from India, but REALLY???!! I been trying to speak with a customer service representative for awhile. I called 1 866 593-2541, and it was the most frustrating call of my life. First of all, I had to wait for a long time for someone to pick up the phone. Once the first representative picked up the phone, she failed to identify her self and hung up the phone on me . I then called back again and had to go thru the waiting game again until someone picked up the phone. I tried my very best to hear and understand him. He ( the second representative) placed me on hold and connected me to another ( the third representative) hoping that we will be able to hear each other. Once on the phone with the third representative, our conversation was " I can't hear you, and don't understand what you are saying. Could you please speak up. The representative was Can I....that was all I could hear and understand. I am so frustrated and disappointed with Macy's. SHAME ON YOU for allowing your new, old, and pending customers to go thru such aggravations. Now that I need to speak with someone from the corporate office, I have to type it up. Grow some....., and handle your customer with kindness. Try to resolve your customer issuies politely. I will be more than willing to train your staff.......

Please do not shop at the Washington, DC store, since it practices discrimination and prejudice. The store has employed aged security using methods of the 60's. The only persons treated well are white women and management states they have high theft. However, very few people of color shop at this store, so I wonder who is stealing. I do not think they have high theft, it is just an excuse for DISCRIMINATION. The store needs to close, the year is 2012 and every business should be open to all. MACYS IN WASHINGTON, DC IS IN THE BUINESS OF RACIAL PROFILE, DISCRIMINATION AND IT NEEDS TO CLOSE.
