The employees are always stuck up. I went in looking to be matched up to a foundation, the lady that 'helped' me pulled out a few foundations for me to match myself up. I'm not the pro nor am I the employee,I wanted for her to match and help me. If they would loose the attitude they may have more customers instead of feeling intimidated when they enter because of their superior act. I was a regular at another location and I was never treated in this manner. The employee was rude.I was on vacation and It ruined my evening, she had that much of an impact on me. The worst,to say the least. Westfield mall in Sarasota,FL.
I walked into the Mac store located at 333 West 47th Street, KCMO 64112 on (Sunday) March 20th. I was totally ignored by 1 person that worked at this location. I made eye contact with your worker and began asking a question. Another worker from Mac butted in and started asking the person I was talking to a question about a product. The person I was attempting to ask a question walked away from me with the worker that asked her a question and they both began helping a caucasion girl that did not appear to be any older and 16. Her age really has nothing to do with it. However, it did not take 2 of your workers to help one person. I was very pissed off about it. I dont like playing the race card but I am sure I was treated this way because I am African American. I would appreciate it if someone from Corporate with tell the workers at this particular store that all money spends. Needless to say, I will never spend another penny at that particular Mac store. Also let them know that if they have a problem with people of color then they should find a hole to work in. We are everywhere and we buy and shop at the sames store as everyone else. I finally had to go to a cashier to get someone to help me. The other workers were just standing around. No one every approached me. It was not very busy at that particular time either. I can be reached at marqhnl@aol.com
I am a recent grad of a great makeup school and all I wanted to be able to do after I graduated was to work for MAC - I love MAC! I was granted an interview, then called back for a second interview with a model that I could use to show my makeup skills and ability - I was contacted about 2 weeks later to be told that I got the job to work freelance for MAC. I was ecstatic! I was never so happy! Well, that was last November (11/10) and as a freelance makeup artist for MAC, I worked two days since last November. I call all the MAC counters in NY each week to see if there are any hours for me - some Managers probably get annoyed that I call each week, but, they have to understand, I want to work and I want to work for MAC - I am so disappointed - I do not know what else to do? Some Managers say, are you on the list, I say yes, they say, well, we'll call you - but, another Manager had told me to just call each Sunday because that is when the new schedule for the week is made out. I am a great makeup artist, and all I want to do is work for MAC - I passed through to get the freelance job, so, I had to know what I was doing - I am very frustrated and feel why was I given this great opportunity, if I am never going to get any hours? If there are no hours for freelance, then why can't I become a regular MAC employee? No one ever discusses that with me - they just say, No Hours, and hang up. I'm sure one of them was in my boat somewhere along the line, trying to get their start in the industry.....as I said, this is so frustrating and disappointing to me.
I went yesterday to re-new some of my Mac make-up. The counter on 34th St. This is the 2nd time this has happen to me. I've been a loyal Mac customer for over 10 yrs. I never want to ever change my make-up. That counter top needs to re-train in Customer Service. They do not give you a warm welcome. They do not show customers acknowledgement. Someone ask what I wanted then walked away never coming back. I waitted again, some manager came over to say they did'nt have it. Some guy name Terrace. I wanted more then just one product. It made me up-set to see all those people there & no one could take out time. I went to the smaller counter & Mike took his time with me. And I was very pleased. Why can the smaller counters do better then the larger ones?? My e-mail address rosie.miah@yahoo.com 646-309-4949 Situations as this make you want to change & never go back to Mac..Where people will respect you.
I was a little disapointed in the way was treated this weekend. I made an appointment for a sample make over. I did get there a little early just to let them know was there and was turned away. When it came down to get the makeup done, they were dicussing who would be helping me. I felt like I was a bother did not feel welcomed at all. The makeup artist complained the whole time about what shades and colors would fit me. Then when it came down to purchasing the make up the attitude did change I guess because they were taking my money.. I spend more than I really wanted to. Not really sure if I should return the items purchased or just deal with bad customer service.
Hi, my name is Sabrina Gray and I attend the Spa School in Columbus, Ohio.I have a question, what do we need to do to get your make up in our school or maybe even just classes?? I'm thinking that this would be a win - win situation for a lot of people. I am a student and am really trying to learn and make a difference in our industry. Please let me know your thoughts, Sincerely, Sabrina L. Gray
i had write it to Singapore MAC CS centre but no response. Kindly noted. hi, I am staying at Hougang Central, Singapore and shocked to see lots of fake M.A.C cosmetics selling in these 2 shops and they have displayed their products right in front of the store which is why it has brought to my attention. Base on the stores owners' accent, they are both from China which I believe their sources are from China. They even claimed those cosmetics are the genuine stuffs. I hope that M.A.C Singapore can really look into this problem as I worry that there are a lot of gullible people will believe these owners' words and brought the cosmetics to use. I do not know what ingredients are in the cosmetic as it will ruin M.A.C reputation if customers get any side effects from using these fake cosmetics which they thought they have brought the genuine stuffs and at a much lower price. Please stop this pirated cosmetics from selling in Singapore. I have remembered these 2 stores address, hope it can help the Singapore office to look into this matter. For your information, i have believed since Hougang already have 2 stores selling pirated M.A.C cosmetics and I wonder how many stores outside Hougang selling these fake cosmetics as well. Please look into this problem seriously and hope we can buy M.A.C products in peace. 1. Shop name: Happy Angel Address: Blk 805, Hougang Central #01-108 2. Shop name: -- Address: Blk 809, Hougang Central, #01-172. Hope the right authority can look into this matter and stop the pirated cosmetics from continuing.
MAC needs to train all their staff in customer service and how to greet customers and not ignore them EVERY time they walk in, especially when their shop is empty. This complaint is especially for the Topanga Canyon Mall in Canoga Park, Ca.
I love the way MAC cosmetic easily fits the diverse tones of African American Women.
Today I visited Mac Cosmetics Store for the first time. I finally managed to visit their new store this week, only to be left standing for 20 minutes with no service or advice. No one asked if I needed any assistance or if I needed any help. I was asked to move several times so that they could get into the stock cupboards, but no one said I'll be with you shortly. I spent some time trying to test the shades on my own skin and work out what was best for me, but I really wanted advise on what I was trying and how they differ so I could purchase some items. Although I have a full range of Bobbi Brown products which I love, I just wanted to try Mac to see what they had to offer after hearing about their range of make up, but unfortunately, I still don't know...
