I recently purchased a Lawn mower from loews Belmont after having to have it repaired two times I finaly had to settle for a smaller less expensive one that still does not satisfy what I wanted the repair service was awful the managers and store personel where rude with very bad attitudes and I am not satisfied I would not recomend Loews to anyone and would like to speak to someone from the corp headquorters to voice my opionion And possibly come to a satisfying settlement for us both .
8/28/12 I don't know what it take to get hired by Lowe's I have applied 4 times and each time have been turned down. I have a great work record I have a background as an office manager and even applied for a job as a cashier still got turned down. I think Lowe's HR dept needs a overhaul. They keep advertising for help and I have been without a job for 8 months now didn't even think that I would ever apply to Lowe's to start with think I will do my shopping somewhere else from now on thanks but no thanks.

I am writing to your corporation mostly out of shame but backed by need. I have contacted every organization that says that they help the Veteran, and yet each and e very one of them have some excuse to say no. In Oct 2008 I had a second fusion on my neck, this time on the back of the neck to again help to stabilize my neck from collapsing even further. In Dec. 1, 2008 the medical staff placed a spinal cord stimulator placed in my back and had it run to both my legs. Time has finally worked against me, and now my entire back is collapsing. The power level is up so high that it should stay working for 10-14 days, but there is so much pain that it uses all the power up on my spinal cord stimulator in 6 to 7 days only. My spinal cord equipment is monitored and maintained by ST. Jude hospital. St. Jude is unwilling to assist as well, even though it is their equipment. I am being assured that additional work on my thoracic cervical and lumbar spinal area just so I am not bed bound. What I need is a deck built that will accommodate the use of a scooter lift from the deck to the ground, and a second lift from the ground and placed in the back of my truck. The lifts will be provided and installed by the VA, but the deck is my problem, and at present, my deck is 5’3” by 5’4”. This size of my present deck will not allow for me to get the scooter out of the house, onto or off of the lift. I am seeking help in having a deck built that is 10’ by 16’. This will allow the scooter to exit the house; it allows for me to align my scooter on the lift, and in a short statement, it will allow me to have mobility. Right now, I am stuck in the house. When I do leave the house, I have to use a cane, and it is the god’s honest truth that I have fallen over 6 times trying to use the steps or uneven ground What I need for the deck is a roof to go over it so that I can come outside and enjoy a morning cup of coffee, or even watch a storm blow through. But without the roof, all I do is get wet and cold. The deck that is being scaled for is 10’ wide by 16’ long so that the scooter has the ability to move around on the deck so that it can be driven onto the lift and off the lift in a safe and secure manner. The correct contact information to LOWES is as follows; Lowe’s home Please improvement center, 4227 Corbett Drive. Fort Collins, CO 80525. Phone is (970) 232-7910 / Fax is (970) 232-7918 / cell phone (970) 556-9030 / brian.l.stromberger@store.lowes.com . I am contacting the LOWES Corporation to secure authorization to allow for Brian L. Stromberger to be the authorized collection point so that he can track all the revenues to ensure that once the final dollar amount is achieved, any further donations can be returned. It would be of great assistance if your organization could find the resources to have the deck built. The completion of the deck would to make it enclosed with a roof on top so that I can sit on my deck and enjoying the daily weather conditions. I was referred to your organization by the wounded warriors. I am an active member of this organization because I am a wounded warrior myself. This is the whole story of my life after Iraq. Because I took a blow to the frontal cortex, and this is known as a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). Part of the effects to my physical condition is that I have light sensitivity, headaches and short term memory loss. As of Tuesday May 1st, 2012 I was declared by both the Veterans Affairs and the Social Security Department to be 100% disabled. I still walk, but I use a cane. I still have full use of my arms but I cannot lift over 7 lbs. My cervical spine has been fused in the front and the back. My lower lumbar spine has been fused and I have an electrical pain device known as a spinal cord stimulator implanted in my body so it masks the pain so I can walk. My thoracic spin is starting to collapse on top of itself which could mean that someday, I will need a scooter for long distances so that I don’t have to walk in pain. I am telling you this because it is only fair that you know what is going on with me, therefore if you choose to find someone else that is more suited for my life and my life style. I have a bone-growth stimulator also implanted inside of me, in hopes to stabilize the spine. I have hearing aids in both ears, and I wear trifocal glasses. I have short term memory loss because of an injury I took to the face while I was in Iraq in 2005. When it comes to seeking a helping a hand, rather it is with a task or with a charitable request, it is best to seek the needs from within. What this statement means to me, is that if I am looking for someone to help bail me out of a hardship, it is easier for me to tighten my belt, or to attempt to complete the task on my own. Now let me go to my injuries and the help I am in need of… On May 1st, 2012 I was informed by the Department of Veterans Affairs that I am no longer able to work for myself, or by myself. You will find that I have attached multiple attachments. This is so that I have crossed every “T” and dotted every “I”. I was injured three times while I was in Iraq. One is an LOD for the cervical spine; one is an LOD for the spinal cord. You will notice that in the cards that are attached are two different cards. One is The card from Saint Jude’s Hospital which identifies that I have a spinal cord stimulator so that I have the ability to walk and move with the spinal cord stimulator to help control the pain while I also use Motrin and oxycodone. I have a second card which identifies that I have a bone growth stimulator. You will also find that I am a life member of the DAV and the VFW. I have also included my VA I.D. Card because all my medical needs are met and provided for by the VAMC in Cheyenne and also the VAMC in Denver. My spinal cord is getting worse, and therefore my PCP, Dr. Christine Obrien at the VA Clinic in Greeley Colorado has made arrangements that the Spinal cord surgical team in Denver to look at my lumbar. The lower lumbar has become even more unstable with the building pressure that is causing my legs and my feet to go numb. I have contacted “Lowes” hardware store, and they are able to build a new deck that would meet my needs, but it is a cost factor that is stopping me. At first the VA was willing to build a ramp to my existing deck, but to attach a ramp that would fit my needs would be outside the regulations set by the state of Colorado. So after speaking with LOWES, I found that I can have a deck built with a hard type composite material so that it does not rot or deteriorate. The initial cost was estimated at $13850.00 but I was able to talk with Brian Stomberger, Project Specialist – Exteriors. I was able to get the cost lowered by over $1500.00. I have been trying to save up the money to have the deck built, but even with the VA owing me back pay for injuries registered back from 1 April 2009, I am still waiting for that monetary release, it is just making it harder and harder to find a way to get this deck built. Once it is built, then the VA will have the lift installed for me. Please find that I am about to send a lot of attachments that will prove my physical condition and my financial need in order to get your assistance in obtaining this deck so that I can become mobile by use of the scooter that I purchased on my own. I purchased a white vinyl fence from Lowes last sept. still waiting on them to make it right! told me it would be a 3 day install. Guess I should have have ask in what month or year that would be! yep coming up on a year now & still waiting! don't buy a fence from lowes! I have talked with manager at the Murfreesboro store, talked with corporate & they showed no interest. I now do all my shopping at Home Depot. Very disappointed in Lowes! Guessing that the direction this company is headed (down) is drivin from the top.
I have been shopping at the Waynesville NC. store for 10 years and I have never been offered any assistance in loading my purchases. At 79 plus yrs. of age heavy sheet goods and tile and many such items are very difficult for me to handle. On 8-13-12 at 8:30 a.m. I asked for loading assistance for some 20 boxes of heavy tile. All I received was a long discorse from the cashier that they had no loading help at that time of day and what she would have to do to get me some help. This store is the very worst in being customer focused I have ever experienced. When ever I can, I go to the Sylva, NC store as they are just the opposite.
If you are a hard working individual. Save yourself time and heartache. The upper management will find you threatening to their positions and will create lies to get rid of you. Such a shame. Corporate needs to come clean house in Greenville, Texas. One manager has single handedly take out at least 6 employees that she was threatened by. LeAnn will cut your head off as she lies her way to the top.
The Woburn Ma store is the worst. If you enjoy getting misinformation and being lied to this is your store. Buying cabinets through this store is hugh mistake. Do yourself a favor go anywhere else.
I would like to compliment Lowe's for hiring such a wonderful employee at the Brooklyn Ohio store. I got ill the other day while shopping with my husband and did not make it to the ladies room before I got sick. yuk!!!! what a mess...An extremely lovely woman with a cane came in and within 3 minutes came back with mop and bucket and helped me get it all cleaned up. She was like a special angel, I was mortified that I didn't make it to the restroom and I could not have asked for a more compassionate person to help me feel at ease. Her name was Doreen. Kudos to Lowe's and the great customer service.
I left the Wilson, NC store today empty handed and both sadden and dismayed that the most congenial( I hope "the "bosses" in that store know what that word means ) and helpful employee was let go a couple weeks ago because of some stupid misguided actions of two young goof offs working there. Shame on you Rhonda and Vanessa! What goes around comes around. From what I hear around the parking lot neither of you know what the f--- you are doing. So hopefully it will be bye, bye birdie for you as well.

We ordered our granite counter tops from the Torrington,CT store. What a mistake!!!! Our contractor that designed our kitchen recommended Lowe's. The sales women explained how wonderful the product is ect. We had already picked out another slab from a shop in town, but decided to try Lowe's because of the sales women, and the great job she did it was the worse job helping us. When the granite was installed it was terrible!!! And that when the nightmare began. Six months later we finally had the granite tops replaced and found they would not give us the discount we were told we would get. Never use Lowe's for any big purchase. You'll be seriously dissapointed
I ordered and paid for roman shades for 3 rooms in May 2012. I got a call a week later stating that the product is back ordered and will be shipped July 2012. It is now the end of July and no blinds. Called the local store, got a bogus 1-800 number to call. Called back to speak with a manager who now says it will be the end of August as a ship date. Good money paid- no blinds.

When the management team of a store(in this case, Wilson,NC)allows "CONNECTIONS" to trump respect, fairness, and decency then it is no longer supportive of the ideals and mission of Lowe's as a company. The rogue gal pals Rhonda, Vanessa and Tootsie need to have their tail feathers pluck and become H-I-S-T-O-R-Y in Lowe's lineup.!
I've been going to the Everett store for many years now. I go every Sat and Sun morning and wherever I get a day off. I'm an DIY-er and purchase all my supplies there, including gardening tools and plants, etc. I've remodeled my kitchen and received excellent instructions and advice from the plumbing, tile and paint departments. These guys really know their business. I also enjoy gardening and have re-done my entire yard. Sheila and Koya in the garden center have given me great idea's, instruction and plant advice throughout the years. They too have gardens and really know their stuff. They are the first people I go see when I shop at Lowe's. I feel very fortunate, especially after reading all of the complaints above, that I live in a city with the only Lowes store where the employees really knows their business. Thanks Lowes and I'll see you again this weekend.
